No hand soap in the bathroom. I called down the first day for some and was told they'd send some up. We never got soap. The next day housekeeping came and \"cleaned\" the room, still no hand soap in the bathroom. Housekeeping was in this room twice, once to clean it initially for my visit then one of the nights during my stay. If they are not supplying handsoap which takes two seconds to put by a sink, that makes me question all cleanliness. Are you really changing sheets and pillow cases between guests? I wanted to like this resort because of location but it's a no for me. If you miss the big things (like basic handsoap) you're missing the little details.

This hotel has everything a family needs to stay entertained and comfortable. The daily breakfast is the highlight with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon and much more (we missed the waffle station). The new Dunkin is set to open soon, there is a great bar, and the Chuck E Cheese arcade area is great for young kids all the way through older teens. Loved the pool and hot tub area - this is an older hotel, but the staff is actively trying to keep it clean. Staff are friendly and out-going - really enjoyed talking with Vivian each day!

Stayed there for a Disney race. Rate was affordable and the hotel was close to the parks. My room was clean and although breakfast wasn’t included I paid for the buffet after the race and it worked out well.

Very Clean. My room door had a gap between the frame and door. I locked okay but didn’t feel all too safe. Also my room was inches away from an emergency exit door on the 4th floor. I exited my room and as I did someone walked into the hotel at the same time. I was followed down the first floor and hit on at the same time. So it made for a very awkward moment. The room was nothing special. It was old but the bathroom was updated nicely. Would I stay here again? No

The room was clean and large. The bathroom was clean but very dated. The staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there were a group of men hanging out in the parking lot playing loud music and smoking weed. I was there as a single female and felt super uncomfortable walking in and out to my car. I did notice on the last day there was a security officer outside in the area so others must have complained. The rap music was loud outside your room if you had a ground floor. Clearly they were not following the no marijuana sign on the hotel door.

Hotel is clearly outdated, phone system reported no breakfast on weekdays and suggested I purchase breakfast at the restaurant. On my last day, I saw that breakfast was being served so the system info is incorrect. I paid for magic view only to have trees blocking the fireworks. Halls were hot and smelled like chlorine. Blanket cover came off of the comforter and was impossible to put back on, the shower water spills out of the shower due to the gap between the glass and bottom, causing water to spill all over the floor and me to almost fall. Overall horrible stay, would not recommend.

Since they have switched from Wyndham to holiday inn they staff and service is amazing. My kids love the indoor playground we are locals and we stay often. We do miss the Pizza Hut on site tho.

How to start?

Basically, you get what you pay for. We knew going in, the hotel probably wouldn't be the best we ever stayed at, just due to price. It was fine if you need some place cheap just to rest your head (I guess), but there were several issues:

1) The bathroom door didn't slide closed all the way and had a large gap so your entire fam would know what's going down in the bathroom.

2) The bathroom was dirty. The floors and walls had dirty fingerprints, the shower had dirt on the floor near the drain, and the counters had toothpaste on them from whoever stayed in the room before us. I wiped everything down with one of the provided stark white rags, and it came away grey.

3) The coffee maker didn't work! It heated the water and sounded like it was trying to pump it through, but nothing was ever produced. We tried several different ways, thinking maybe we were just doing it wrong. Nope. Coffee maker was simply broken.

4) This hotel was obviously remodeled/renovated - kind of. There were cracks from floor to ceiling in the walls, along the ceiling, etc. Whoever they hired needs to come back and fix it.

5) Outlets by the alarm clock kept cycling on and off.

6) The floor lamp didn't work. We didn't have use of it since this hotel *was* just a place to rest our heads, but we tried to turn it on the morning we checked out and sure enough, it wasn't working.

7) What are the mattresses made of? Cardboard?

8) The elevators are scary 😅

We stayed three nights to go to Disney. The hotel and room were nice and clean. Hotel was busy when we went but didn’t feel over crowded at all. The only problems we ran into was we had a conjoined room (with the people on the other side not in our party) and you could hear everything in there. Second is there are shuttles at the hotel running back and forth from the parks at certain times that you make reservations for. They give you an itinerary at check in when the times are running and what lanes you have to be at for pick up from the parks. Both days that we were picked up from Magic Kingdom (day one) and Hollywood Studios (day two) we ran into issues with the wrong bus being at our lane number. So make sure you ask if they are running to your hotel before you get on so you don’t get taken to another hotel. It was frustrating but luckily we asked before getting on. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the shuttle to the parks were definitely a perk despite the problems we ran into!

My stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kissimmee by the Parks was very disappointing and not what I expected based on the photos online.

The property looks very different from what is advertised. When we arrived, the room was not clean there were hairs in the shower and in the bathroom, which immediately made us question the overall hygiene.

During the three nights we stayed, the hallways were never cleaned. There was a cotton swab lying in the corridor when we arrived, and it remained there the entire stay, which clearly showed a lack of basic maintenance and attention.

I even requested to cancel the rest of my stay and offered to pay a cancellation fee just to leave, but the issue was not resolved and no accommodation was offered.

Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, or overall standards.

Overall, this hotel was average for our stay. The price felt appropriate for what we received, but there are definitely areas that need improvement. The mattresses in our room were lacking support and structure and should really be swapped out as a good night’s sleep makes a big difference.

We also noticed that the shower leaks water onto the bathroom floor, which was inconvenient and something that should be addressed.

I typically love IHG Hotels & Resorts properties, but this location falls short compared to its close partner, Holiday Inn Resort Orlando - Lake Buena Vista.

Another downside is the traffic. The hotel sits off a one-lane road in and out, and post–amusement park traffic can be very frustrating. After a long park day, waiting in a long line of cars just to get back to the hotel isn’t ideal.

Overall, it’s fairly priced, but with a few upgrades and improvements, it could be much better. Staff was friendly

I paid for my room a few days before arriving at the hotel. They gave me a last-minute room for disabled guests. The bathroom didn't have a door or a shower curtain, and it flooded when I showered. I slipped when I got out, and my leg still hurts. I asked to change rooms, and I had to put towels on the floor to prevent another accident. There were no other room options. I have photos of the scene if you'd like to see them. I will never return. Please do not recommend this hotel.

This hotel is an amazing place to stay for anyone- clean rooms, friendly and professional staff, a hotel bar and restaurant, pools and hot tub. As a parent of two young children, I loved that there was an arcade and indoor play gym. Will definitely recommend this to friends and family!

Sheets were bare in places because of usage. There was a surprise $20 resort fee per night that was never highlighted when I \"fully\" paid before booking. There is really 1 restaurant, a pizza place, that serves fair pizza at best, and it is SUPER noisy (at least on the main floor) at night.

My stay at the Holiday Inn in Orlando, Florida was extremely disappointing. The staff was unfriendly and immediately bombarded us with offers to attend a timeshare presentation as soon as we entered the door. We were placed in adjoining rooms where we were kept up all night by noise from our neighbors - snoring on the first night, and a couple engaging in loud sexual activities at 3 am on the second night. The rooms had a musty smell of mildew and were not properly cleaned or maintained. There was a large crack in the door that let in light all night, and the constant noise of kids running up and down the hallways added to the chaotic atmosphere. In all my stays in Disney, this was by far the worst experience I have had. I do not recommend staying here. 0/10.

The room was fine clean, staff was great. But they don't have the suite type offered that we booked. They were great to give us a second connecting room to resolve the issue. That said, the hotel is under rebrand/construction and was clearly a different resort not long ago. This would be fine if noted anywhere in the booking, via messages, on their site or anything. The 5th floor was half Holiday Inn, Half construction rooms.

This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The level of neglect and poor management is unacceptable. The bedsheets were dirty and covered in hair, which is a basic hygiene failure no hotel should have. To make matters worse, the entire building had no running water for 12 hours. I travel often and have never experienced this anywhere. Using the washroom during that time was extremely difficult and completely unacceptable.

The room was in awful condition and clearly not maintained. Chairs were ripped and heavily stained, and the bed headboards were dirty and stained as well. Even after staff came to change the bedsheets, the room still felt unclean and uncomfortable.

There were multiple serious safety concerns. The mattress was not secured to the bed frame and flipped when I sat on it. The drawers did not close properly and kept sliding open, forcing me to constantly check them so the top drawer wouldn’t unexpectedly slide out.

The elevator was another major concern. Every time we used it, it felt like it was going to fall. It kept jumping up and down before moving, which was extremely frightening and made us feel unsafe.

While the staff tried to help, these issues go far beyond customer service and point to poor maintenance and management. This hotel is not safe and not clean. I strongly do not recommend staying here.

All in all a good choice staff made it a good choice. Unsure of the extra resort fees, no resort amenities-they advertised hot tub which is broken, dunkin donuts which is under renovations.

The building I was in definitely needed some remodeling, the elevators were outdated and someone got stuck because they were ringing the bell. The beds were hard as a rock, the pillows as well. The standing shower looked very old as well.

The building shook when the elevator was moving, the elevators were bumpy, a dog barked all night long, and the 10pm-9am quiet time was definitely not abided because it sounded like there was a party going on out in the hallway all night. I’ve stayed at multiple holiday inns and typically have a pleasant experience but other than the staff who were great, this stay was not up to par.

this was my 4th time staying at this hotel but this was the first time I've had this experience here. The room that I got was room 353. From the moment we went to the third floor, the hallway smelled horrible. We entered the room, we were settling in and when we went to the bathroom, it was filled with fruit flies. The flies were coming out of the drain from the sink. By the second day, we had to put a tissue on the hole for them to stop coming out. It sucks to complain but I have loved coming to this hotel the previous times. The staff and lobby are great.. but this room or floor was just not in the best conditions.
