The 1 bedroom suite was amazing with so much room and the kitchen facilities great.
We liked the Mexican Restaurant and the Ice Cream Parlor. The golf cart shuttle to the pools were efficient and helpful.

We will never stay at Westgate again and will be warning our friends and family to avoid this resort.

My spouse and I arrived for our first wedding anniversary expecting a relaxing getaway. Instead, we were pressured into attending what was advertised as a 90-minute presentation that lasted over 2.5 hours. Despite repeatedly saying we had no interest in buying a timeshare, we were subjected to relentless sales tactics, with multiple representatives refusing to accept \"no\" as an answer.

We had just checked in and hadn't even had the chance to enjoy the resort or its amenities before losing hours of our vacation to this exhausting experience. We felt trapped and manipulated until we became extremely firm just to receive the gifts we had been promised.

To make matters worse, housekeeping services such as fresh towels, bed-making, and sheet changes were not provided during our stay.

Westgate's aggressive sales practices completely ruined the start of our anniversary trip and left us frustrated and disappointed. This is an unacceptable way to treat paying guests. We will not return and cannot recommend this resort to anyone.

The staff was professional and the minute I got there to check-in, I was greeted and treated with the utmost respect. The room was really clean; it was family friendly. I don't have anything negative to say about my stay and the way we were treated. I highly recommend it and can't wait to visit again in the near future.

Room was clean and staff was friendly. The water park should be included in the price or you should make it more known that you have to pay per day. Also the water park should be open longer since it’s $25 dollars a person. 11-6pm is not enough time. Room was small. The room key worked for everything but our room door. The problem was solved quickly but when front desk was called, they told us that we were supposed to be in a different room. Parking was a nightmare.

This is a timeshare property. The Waterpark is free for owners and $25 per person for guests per day. Also, the Waterpark closes at 6pm. I felt like this was way too early. The Los Amigos restaurant was an excellent authentic Mexican restaurant.

The staff were friendly, but like other reviewers stated, you have to pay extra for the main pool/slides. We paid the fee only to find out the pool was closed since someone threw up in it and it would reopen in an hour. We did not want to go back into a pool that we knew someone threw up in. The elevators were stifling hot with no AC in them, and they smelled like cat/dog urine. The hallways by our room also had urine in them and smelled bad. Our shower had mold in the tiles, and the spa bathtub was old and stained. The room was definitely old and beat up. The A/C smelled like cat urine when it ran. The handle on the toilet felt like it was going to fall off. The mini blinds for our bedroom did not completely close and people walking by could peek in if they wanted to. And of course (not the hotel's fault) other neighbors smoking disgusting weed and the smell goes everywhere. I might as well just smoke a cigar and blow it in their faces. I would not stay here again.

Other than Ernesto, this place was a complete disappointment. Ernesto was the only good thing about the entire resort he was incredibly kind and literally helped take us from the pool all the way to our room because it felt like we had to walk three miles just to get there. He actually cared about guests, unlike the rest of the experience.
The bar that was supposedly open served the worst margarita I’ve ever had. It was overloaded with sugar, completely undrinkable, and the tequila tasted watered down just like most of the alcohol there $10-17 drinks deserve to taste better than that!
The room looked nothing like the pictures we were shown when booking. Instead of a nice resort, it felt like a poorly remodeled Motel 6, it honestly felt like we were shoved into one of the worst rooms possible. The kitchen supplies were extremely limited, with barely any pots, pans, or basic necessities. On top of that, the bed was hard as a rock and unbelievably uncomfortable.
I absolutely do not recommend staying here. Ernesto deserves better than this place because he was the only person who made the experience tolerable.

i didn’t like it was faults advertising the water park in the facility was not included as it stated in the discrimination i payed over 200 a night and that was the only reason why i wanted to stay at this hotel and that was not included. i would not rent this plays out again for that price it’s way over priced

Stayed at Westgate Resorts recently. The price honestly wasn’t bad, so I wasn’t expecting luxury, but the rooms definitely felt outdated and could use some remodeling. The atmosphere around the resort was also a little rough/chaotic at times compared to what we expected. Staff was fine overall, but the property just felt older than it looks online. Decent for a budget stay, but manage your expectations.

Great place. Rooms are nice and staff is great. Only problem is that they charge $30+/day resort fee but it doesn't include the water park ($25/person/day.

Also, for the movies, it would be nice if they included popcorn and In rooms, it would be nice if they included sugar with the coffee.

We stayed for a cheer competition. When the AC turns on it smelled like old cigarette smoke. We don't smoke. And the floor was never swept up before we go there. I have to say the staff is very friendly and security around the clock. Downer was the pool closed at 6pm. So we didn't get to enjoy that. From cheerleading competitions and get back after 6pm. It was a bummer. We are still waiting on our deposit. They said it would take 3 business days and it's been a whole week since we checked out.

The door to my room stuck a bit so everyone nearby could hear me open and shut it. The coffee machine had grinds where the water was supposed to go. The toaster had crumbs in it still. The microwave smelled like someone burned popcorn in it. But otherwise everything was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room served the purpose I needed it to.

Lots of things to do. We stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping never came. Staff is really friendly. They do try to sell you a timeshare. It did take about 2 hrs so if your on a time crunch skip it.

During check- In There was a Internal Error on the original room booked, kuddos to Justina from Puerto Rico as she was amazing on resolving the issue in a timely manner, after a 22+ Drive from Tx with a exhausted 2yr old, after our flight was cancelled. Certainly Dealing with booking issues was the last thing we wanted!

So we do appreciate the fast accommodation so we could get some rest after a long drive and the being placed in a quiet, clean and spacious room.

Staff was helpful, courteous and quick to respond to guest needs, the water park was amazing our little one enjoyed himself very much
We didn’t get Taste the food or explore the entire property, however it is our plan to do so on our next family trip to Orlando.

They gave away my room and put me in a smaller room. The floor was sticky, sheets were dirty, there were no blankets, the phone didn’t work and the safe didn’t work it took them 3 days and multiple trips to the desk to repair these issues. Staff was friendly, room appeared clean but was not, there was even old toothpaste from somebody else was stuck to the back of the bathroom door. Parking at the resort was an absolute nightmare. It got to the point we didn’t want to leave because we may or may not find a spot when we got back. You could hear everything through the walls. No privacy

This property sucks!!! Please save ur $$ and stay elsewhere. First we can start with the resort fees -I still do not understand what you are paying for ? The water park is charged separately $25 per person including children per day u wod think that is part of the resort fee it’s not. Who has 14 pools but no pool towels you have to bring your own. Resort fee how? They DO NOT PROVIDE BREAKFAST-The food at the resort is baby portions, expensive and not good! They do not tell u that there is a whole strip of food right outside Wendy’s,Perkins,wing stop, and lots more go there. The cleaning is non existent u have to be there 2 weeks for them to clean. We had to take out our own garbage they just let it sit there. change our own sheets, request for new towels, and for them to take the dirty ones which they just let sit there till we took them. request for ice (they do not tell u that). The gulf carts to get around -there are about 30something carts there is 4 people driving them so no matter where you going you have to wait like 15 mins to be picked up.
Besides the gulf cart people (the only ones that were nice) everyone else is rude like you are bothering them. They tell u that they have transportation to the parks that is a lie! They Do Not have any transportation to anywhere if you are not driving you have to uber. They do not help with tickets or anything that has to do with the parks. And they all act like they do not know where anything is NEVER AGAIN!!!! Please stay else

The Wi-Fi is horrible. Our first room had carpet that smelled like mold and cigarette. We had to change rooms the next day. The staff was accommodating but each accommodation came with what I would consider a sassy response. Will do this for you as a one time courtesy. Or our front desk girl was argumentative when checking in. Overall the day was nice but everything is expensive while you’re there even to use the waterpark. It’s $25 a day and it’s just a small waterpark for the kids. If you decide you wanna have any bar drinks be ready to spend over $100 for 3 drinks. If you eat at their restaurant, you’re going to spend over $100 having spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Parmesan and pizza. This is why I give it a three stars.

Todo estuvo bien, tuve inconveniente con los huéspedes continuos a mi habitación pero me resolvieron rápido. Otro asunto que ocurrio en la estadia fue que a traves de Expedia se compró una estadia de una habitacion en particular y cuando llegamos nos indicaron que no habia disponibilidad, ofrecieron un upgrade pero no se ajustaba a la necesidad del momento. Se exigió por lo que se pagó pero aún así se tuvo que pagar adicional para poder tener habitacion con 2 camas, fueron los unicos inconvenientes.

Upon check in, we waited for 2 hours & had to make multiple phone calls about getting a crib that we were told we’d have in 30 minutes and when it did finally arrive, it was a very dingy pack n play. Our room was extremely outdated, the couch cushions very so sunk in and scratched up. All of the appliances looked like they have seen some better days. The tvs do not have access to streaming services (even though there was a Netflix button on the remote) which would’ve been okay if we knew there were 3 different tv guides to look at (insane to me, but whatever). We had roaches in our room and the solution was to have pest control come spray, which is fine, but we live in Florida & don’t have a roach problem at our house, surely did it expect to see multiple in a highly rated hotel. Lastly, it was probably 80 degrees in our room when we checked in, we lowered our thermostat as low as we could to go to bed & the temperature didn’t change at all which made for a very sleepless night for us & our 19 month old. We called multiple times the next day and it took quite a while and multiple different maintenance people to get it working halfway. Waterpark & arcade are additional fee- not included in stay.

Excellent place to stay. They offer so much on the property to do. Only complaint was there was only one plug in the bedroom and it was worn out so things wouldn't stay in it. Plugs by the bed would be more convenient for charging devices.

I saved for months to give my daughter a dream birthday vacation, but this hotel turned it into a headache. Between being downgraded to a smaller room without a refund and the \"included\" waterpark actually costing an extra $75, I felt completely misled.
The worst part was the waterpark itself. Because of a one-inch gap in height requirements (too tall for 47\", too short for 48\"), my daughter was banned from every single slide. We ended up paying a premium to sit in a pool we could have accessed for free outside.
I am asking the management to do the right thing and refund the waterpark entry fees for my girls. This was not the birthday celebration we were promised.

The check in line was long but they had many assistants so it went fast. The room was big and had everything you need. The furniture is dated but fine. The shower in our room did not work but 2 maintenance men worked quickly to fix it. The check in at 4 and out at 10 is not great. The main concern I had was my wife left her headphones in the room and we have heard nothing if they found them, didn't find them, there has been no communication except \"fill out this lost and found form\"

Everything was great. Not pressured at all by staff about timeshare crap. Room was great with updated showers. Pools and hot tub were excellent. Only disappointment was there were no blackout curtains on the window, just blinds. Anyone walking by could easily see in our room even when closed.

The shower was broken which made it very stressful after a long day traveling.

We eventually got it to work but the next day it didn’t work at all and the entire shower handle came off when we tried to make it work.

When we called it in, we were not told clear info about when the repair people would come.

I asked if I could get a new room because I had just come from the beach and was standing and waiting in sandy clothes.

We were denied this request and had to wait for the repairmen.

The eventually came and fixed the shower but the handle was still difficult to pull open.

Other than that the villas are great, they have cutlery , plates , cups etc for use and dish soap .

They had this weird washer dryer combo… but it was more like a steamer … took 3 hrs and my clothes did not feel clean … it still had slight body odor .

I hand washed my swimsuit and tried to dry it in there for 2 hrs but it did not dry…. idk .. maybe i was using it wrong but it was not helpful for me

The extra stuff that you pay for that comes with staying on the property is not good they close at 7:00 at least a hour and a half of daylight left forcing you to leave the property and go somewhere else to spend your money which is the dumbest business sense I have ever seen they make you go off site and spend your money somewhere else and not spend it at their own property pretty dumb
