Housekeeping apparently costs $180 USD unless you're there for over 14 days to then qualify for house keeping on day 15 free of charge. Our pool towels were missing from our room and the playpen we requested for our baby was broken. The pools were filled with debris (understandable seeing as there is a lot of foliage around the pools) but no maintence people clean it out throughout the day. The arcade is EXPENSIVE. The games are 20+ tickets each. The coffee stand closes in the (very) early afternoon. Front desk staff doesn't communicate well. This place nickel and dimes you for everything. The elevator had a communication failure and was beeping the entire stay. If you're looking for a family fun property like this, stay at The Grove down the road. It's better, cheaper, more updated rooms and the waterpark is included in your stay unlike this resort.

Resort was huge but easy to walk and find your way. Received complimentary upgrade to a 2 BR 2 BA Villa. Inside was nice and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Everything you needed was in the resort. The waterpark was fun despite the rain. It was not overly crowded. We were able to get tables and chairs. Multiple pools also were nice and helped ensure they weren’t overly crowded. Overall a great place to stay with the family. Bonus there is a Walmart across the street. Definitely plan a day or 2 in the resort vs going to the park everyday. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that many of the activities such as mini golf and bikes shut down at 7. Would have been nice to have those items available until 10 pm.

We arrived and our room had bugs in it. We didn’t get our new room until 2:00 am. We asked for a late check out they let us after asking several times. Then without telling us they cancelled our keys and we were unable to get in the room. We had to wait for 30 min until someone came to let us in.

Our stay at the villas was wonderful. My grandkids loved the fact that the pool was right out the back door. We came back to the villa to take breaks in our days at Disney World. The two bedroom was perfect for us. Very clean and very spacious . It allowed my 2 year old grandson the room he needed for his cars . Great place to stay. So many amenities to consider.

We stayed 5 days and did not receive any new towels or service to the room. Someone used a key and walked into our room at 7:28am and i was like who are you and they left. We checked out and then received a call hours later askingvus when we were going to leave and if we needed more time. I reminded them we already checked out. Someone had entered our room and was using it when we left! So be aware of that. Everything else was great.

Staff was average. Property had a lot of amenities. It was hard to find times for the on-property restaurants, where some closed at 7pm. Property was large which made taking a car a necessity. Property doesn't offer transportation to Disney or other parks. Hotel room was great and seems to have been recently updated. Pool and hot tub availability was great and close to villas. Overall, I would stay here again if visiting Disney or nearby.

There’s activities for all ages. They have 18+ game shows, bingo, as well as kid-friendly trivia daily. The pools were nice and warm. Our room was spacious with a full kitchen and washer & dryer. There’s so much to do on the resort, you really don’t have to leave.

We would love to stay again. It was beautiful. Everything was nice. People were very catering and there’s a lot to do there. We loved the night comedy shows the karaoke it just made our stay wonderful. We didn’t have to leave the premises to do anything. It even had the restaurants.

I went for a solo getaway off season.
The property was huge but I enjoy walking. If you have mobility problems they offer rides from hotel room to pools/ shop and restaurants. While at the hotel I paid for daily use of the water park. They have a lazy pool which I enjoyed and bars for your favorite frozen cocktails. Overall I enjoyed the resort it was very clean and the grounds well kept. The only issue I had (probably because of off season) everything closed very early. I recommend stocking your refrig with the necessities cause any food / grocery deliveries won’t be able to locate your room.

Really beautiful property with lots to do! The only downside was that the internet was sooo bad that I wasn’t able to connect for most of the stay. Unfortunately some of us have to work even on vacation and this was extremely frustrating. Great gym and location- I would stay again but take more PTO. ☺️

Huge place. Check in took a long time, even at midnight, appreciated late check in. Pool for loyalty members did not open until 11 which was late for us to leave. No showers after pool before leaving the area.

The room was the worst I've ever had. The fist thing walking into it was the smell, then to take a shower the handle did not work, called for help that took over 2 hours for someone to say it was working for him. My husband had to turn the shower on and off for me, the heat/air conditioner did not work. All of this after my husband was the only one registration would talk to at the start with not only being asked to sign up for their time share program over 8 times attempting him before he received our room number. We wanted to move away from this location for the rest of our stay but, said we would not let this location be the end of our Disney trip for out grandkids. I would like to see a full refund from this location.

The staff was phenomenal especially Mari and Jose at the the pool bars! Get yourself a tiki butt cup on the first day! You will not be disappointed. The amenities are perfect for a family with children. The kids and I had a blast in the water park and arcade especially the hall of mirrors. This was my second time, and I highly recommend especially for the price. Making meals in the kitchen also helps to make Orlando affordable for families.

Check in was great, staff was hospitable. Upon walking into the room, the front door was improperly hung, and required heavy force to open as if it had been damaged previously. My partner had a silk scarf and silver rings in the room, which disappeared during our stay. It's unclear who or how these items were taken. I spoke to their lost and found, and security departments multiple times, and they gave me the runaround, took my number, and claimed they'd look into it. They never contacted me or addressed the stolen items. I have stayed here many times in the past problem free, but this is likely the last time. This place has gone down. Is recommend people not bring valuables on vacation to westgate because they'll disappear with no trace!

We had a great stay at Westgate Vacation Villas Resort. We only stayed for three days but enjoyed every bit of it. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our villa and found that they had upgraded us to one of their renovated two bedroom villas; both bedrooms were spacious and had very comfortable beds.

We were in town to visit Disney, but spent one day at the resorts water park, which was fun. The Amigo restaurant on the property was quite over priced. Their margarita was very watered down and did not taste anything like what I’m accustomed to.

Also, be aware of the welcome invitation for breakfast and a “90 minute presentation,” after which you are promised all sorts of giveaways. It is a Timeshare presentation and they are pushy. They held me there for three hours trying to convince me to buy a timeshare. I declined to buy but was given all of the promised giveaways, which I was happy about.

I wouldn’t mind returning to this property if I return to Orlando.

As or as the amenity we booked under the assumptions that we would be able to have access to the waterpark but one’s arriving. It’s a separate fee. We were located at the very back of the properties so I’m assuming that’s why there was no Wi-Fi storm most of our stay and when it didn’t work, it was really slow.

I stayed at Westgate for 10 days and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish.

We were traveling with our 8 month old son and requested a Pack n Play. What we received was completely unsafe. The “bed” was only half the bedframe, so when our baby rolled over he fell onto exposed metal frame. He woke up screaming. That is not an inconvenience. That is a safety issue and resulted in sleepless nights on my vacation.

Housekeeping? Apparently that only exists if you stay 14 days or longer here. We were there for 10. No one told us this upfront. Four days in, our place smelled like garbage and was getting filthy and finally complained and told us they don’t do housekeeping for us. So I was taking out trash myself and doing our towels in the laundry room. That is not a vacation. That is chores in a hotel I paid good money for.

Because we weren’t given proper cleaning supplies and had no housekeeping, the room got so dirty that we ended up with ants by the end of the trip. Ants. It was disgusting.

On day one we noticed one of the shower nozzles wouldn’t turn to hot. No hot water in that bathroom. We called. No one ever came to fix it. So we just couldn’t use that shower for the entire stay.

And to top it off, everything costs extra. Waterpark? Extra. Mini golf? Extra. Nearly every resort amenity is an added fee, even as a hotel guest.

Extremely Disappointed with Management – Very Poor Experience.Our experience with management at Westgate Villas was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
When we arrived at our unit (Building 5200, Floor 6, Unit 5265B), the air conditioning was not working properly. We set the thermostat to 68°F before leaving for the parks, but when we returned, the room was still 79°F. We adjusted it again and went about our evening. After about 40 minutes with no change, we called the front desk to ask if there was a trick to getting it to work. We were told that the system detects when guests are out of the room and that it “takes time to kick on,” or they could send someone up but couldn’t say how long it would take. Trusting their explanation, we tried to sleep but the temperature stayed at 79°F all night. I have time-stamped video proof showing it never cooled down. I didn’t sleep at all. We even attempted to open the door at one point, but it was extremely loud outside and the blinds were hitting against each other. The next morning, when we called again, the management team was rude and immediately began blaming us. They said someone was sent to fix it, but no one ever came into our unit or notified us. We sat in the room all morning waiting for maintenance, only for the air to suddenly turn on by itself without any communication. To make matters worse, when I grabbed a towel to shower, it was stained. The unit overall felt very outdated, old TVs, worn furniture, uncomfortable

Our stay was wonderful. The one-bedroom, two-bathroom suite with a full kitchen was exactly what we needed—spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The arcade was a highlight and a lot of fun. Although the water park was not open during our visit, we look forward to returning in the future to experience it. Overall, a great stay and a property we would happily visit again.

Room is pretty big for our small family; but too far to walk to the big building. There is nothing we can do when we arrived. :(

We were also pleasantly surprised that the rooms were more modern and updated compared to the pictures. Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the restaurants and amenities due to visiting family. The Villa was absolutely beautiful and would love to come back and stay at least a week to take advantage of all of the amenities the resort has to offer. The check in and out process was great. The check in staff offered great service. We did not get his name as he did not have a name tag. He upgraded us to a handicapped accessible room as I have to use a walker and the view was spectacular. The King size mattress and pillows were so clean and comfortable. Was a nice room, but upon arrival there was dirty laundry in bags,and trash with old food in it outside the door. 5 bags to be exact;so upon entering and exiting it smelt bad and came into the room. Mentioned it upon check out and wasn’t offered the resort fee back or anything after telling them I was displeased so me and mine will not be back.
