The Wi-Fi is horrible. Our first room had carpet that smelled like mold and cigarette. We had to change rooms the next day. The staff was accommodating but each accommodation came with what I would consider a sassy response. Will do this for you as a one time courtesy. Or our front desk girl was argumentative when checking in. Overall the day was nice but everything is expensive while you’re there even to use the waterpark. It’s $25 a day and it’s just a small waterpark for the kids. If you decide you wanna have any bar drinks be ready to spend over $100 for 3 drinks. If you eat at their restaurant, you’re going to spend over $100 having spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Parmesan and pizza. This is why I give it a three stars.

Todo estuvo bien, tuve inconveniente con los huéspedes continuos a mi habitación pero me resolvieron rápido. Otro asunto que ocurrio en la estadia fue que a traves de Expedia se compró una estadia de una habitacion en particular y cuando llegamos nos indicaron que no habia disponibilidad, ofrecieron un upgrade pero no se ajustaba a la necesidad del momento. Se exigió por lo que se pagó pero aún así se tuvo que pagar adicional para poder tener habitacion con 2 camas, fueron los unicos inconvenientes.

Upon check in, we waited for 2 hours & had to make multiple phone calls about getting a crib that we were told we’d have in 30 minutes and when it did finally arrive, it was a very dingy pack n play. Our room was extremely outdated, the couch cushions very so sunk in and scratched up. All of the appliances looked like they have seen some better days. The tvs do not have access to streaming services (even though there was a Netflix button on the remote) which would’ve been okay if we knew there were 3 different tv guides to look at (insane to me, but whatever). We had roaches in our room and the solution was to have pest control come spray, which is fine, but we live in Florida & don’t have a roach problem at our house, surely did it expect to see multiple in a highly rated hotel. Lastly, it was probably 80 degrees in our room when we checked in, we lowered our thermostat as low as we could to go to bed & the temperature didn’t change at all which made for a very sleepless night for us & our 19 month old. We called multiple times the next day and it took quite a while and multiple different maintenance people to get it working halfway. Waterpark & arcade are additional fee- not included in stay.

Excellent place to stay. They offer so much on the property to do. Only complaint was there was only one plug in the bedroom and it was worn out so things wouldn't stay in it. Plugs by the bed would be more convenient for charging devices.

I saved for months to give my daughter a dream birthday vacation, but this hotel turned it into a headache. Between being downgraded to a smaller room without a refund and the \"included\" waterpark actually costing an extra $75, I felt completely misled.
The worst part was the waterpark itself. Because of a one-inch gap in height requirements (too tall for 47\", too short for 48\"), my daughter was banned from every single slide. We ended up paying a premium to sit in a pool we could have accessed for free outside.
I am asking the management to do the right thing and refund the waterpark entry fees for my girls. This was not the birthday celebration we were promised.

The check in line was long but they had many assistants so it went fast. The room was big and had everything you need. The furniture is dated but fine. The shower in our room did not work but 2 maintenance men worked quickly to fix it. The check in at 4 and out at 10 is not great. The main concern I had was my wife left her headphones in the room and we have heard nothing if they found them, didn't find them, there has been no communication except \"fill out this lost and found form\"

Everything was great. Not pressured at all by staff about timeshare crap. Room was great with updated showers. Pools and hot tub were excellent. Only disappointment was there were no blackout curtains on the window, just blinds. Anyone walking by could easily see in our room even when closed.

The shower was broken which made it very stressful after a long day traveling.

We eventually got it to work but the next day it didn’t work at all and the entire shower handle came off when we tried to make it work.

When we called it in, we were not told clear info about when the repair people would come.

I asked if I could get a new room because I had just come from the beach and was standing and waiting in sandy clothes.

We were denied this request and had to wait for the repairmen.

The eventually came and fixed the shower but the handle was still difficult to pull open.

Other than that the villas are great, they have cutlery , plates , cups etc for use and dish soap .

They had this weird washer dryer combo… but it was more like a steamer … took 3 hrs and my clothes did not feel clean … it still had slight body odor .

I hand washed my swimsuit and tried to dry it in there for 2 hrs but it did not dry…. idk .. maybe i was using it wrong but it was not helpful for me

The extra stuff that you pay for that comes with staying on the property is not good they close at 7:00 at least a hour and a half of daylight left forcing you to leave the property and go somewhere else to spend your money which is the dumbest business sense I have ever seen they make you go off site and spend your money somewhere else and not spend it at their own property pretty dumb

This property is amazing , staff is very helpful and grounds are really beautiful . Handicap accessible pool w a chair lift was a nice surprise for future trips with my disabled grandson - and was just a pleasant stay - everything from check in to check out was easy , staff was extremely helpful and accommodating- we will definitely be coming back

The room was great. Large kitchen, bathroom and loved the balcony. The kids absolutely loved waking up to the ducks every morning! We used the pool every single day! Sometimes it was was crowded. I wish they would power wash the steps going up to the rooms to clean up the dirt and not make it not as dirty looking. There was an iron board at the bottom of our steps for 3 days. I'm not sure why. I wish they offered more games and activities later in the day. Then one day they were chopping up trees right in front of my car and wood chips everywhere. Probably an outside job but they parked right in front of it and just chipped away. Also, the weed smell from down below was not very friendly. Especially when you have young kids right above. I thought this was a smoke free resort! Overall the whole family had a great time just gotta keep the balcony doors shut from the weed smell from our neighbors down below!

This location is perfect there is lots to do at the resort and literally every restaurant or food place you can think of are within 10-15 minutes take a 20 minute drive and you find all other exciting thing such as Andretti and other place just an awesome location loved the movie theater that’s is included so are paddle boat and bike had a blast

Wifi was terrible, I work remotely and I was having trouble connecting. Pool slide in main pool was big enough for a teen, however my 7 yr old try to get on it and they told him he was too tall. Water park entry fee, water park should be part of the resort in my opinion. Regular rooms were very small. Pet fee was $150, WOW!

My granddaughter had a blast. She loved the pools, the water park, the activities (build a stuff animal and tie dye), and the arcade. We never left the property. The staff was great and we enjoyed the restaurants. I am sure we will be going back.

There was no complimentary breakfast. The mattress in our king bed was very broken down and I could feel the springs. I called the main office about this and nothing was ever done about it. The things that were available to do were closed pretty early. Beautiful property for the most part.

I believe our room wasn’t cleaned. It has a nasty odor and no clean towels to begin with. That was ok went and bought stuff to help with that. The walls very very thin and my child had a live roach in there bed. They did move us it was se what better. The first one need major renovation compared to the second one.

Look, I’m not knocking the place, just sharing my experience. Take it for what it’s worth.

After researching options for a 15-year-old spring break, I chose Westgate Villas Resort in Kissimmee. It’s a large, clean, very family-oriented property.

Where it falls short is food and flexibility. There are four options. El Amigo is standard Mexican. The arcade spot is typical fried food. The water park burger spot is actually solid, but it closes whenever the weather shuts down the park, which happened daily. The one place with real upside, Sid’s sports bar, is closed Monday and Tuesday, which meant missing the college basketball championship.

Oh…there is no place that services actual breakfast. There is a hotel coffee shop with long lines where you can grab Starbucks type drinks and bagels and lemon loafs but there’s no brick and mortar breakfast place. I still can’t get my head around that.

When the weather turns, your options shrink fast. You’re left with just Mexican, ice cream, and the arcade. That’s the gap.

Net, glad we came and made the most of it, but I wouldn’t return. If weather impacts your trip, there isn’t enough to do. We’ll look for more dynamic options next time.

Room was clean. Food at Sid’s, Mexican spot and kids arcade were good. We were put in the very last row of the resort (vvc) and it was terribly far form everything!!!! The closest 2 pools were gross. Chairs at pool gross. Basketball court by us broken. Food and marketplace closed at 7. Nothing opened til 12 noon to eat. Our room (vvc 11-b) itself was ok. No toaster. Light in bathroom falling. Had to call because air broke twice. You share a hallway with the unit Nextdoor like an apartment complex so don’t have expectations for noisiness. We only had 1 roach… I’m not complaining about that because it’s Florida and bugs live everywhere. You can call the front office for a ride in a golf cart to the main hall! If you have more than 5 you need to wait (10-15 min) for another cart. No i wouldnt go back. The place itself It’s about 20/25 min from everything.

This is the second time I’ve stayed. It’s very clean and up to date. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It’s nice that they text you things that are going on and you can text them with any questions. The pool was fantastic!! I could Walk right in. It was the perfect temperature. The Mexican restaurant was very good and the margaritas were yummy.

The property is nice a home away from home. I did have some problems. Shower was not draining, neither television was working. They were quick about getting the situation handled. However book through Westgate not Expedia. I booked a one bedroom Villa- Budget which stated that it had a King bed, 2 double beds, and a sofa bed, with a patio or a balcony. Expedia booked a One bedroom Villa that only had a king bed and a sofa bed. Because I booked through Expedia there was nothing Westgate was willing to do to accommodate my family and I. They told me I had to have Expedia fix it and after numerous chats and calls Expedia did nothing. Kept telling me that was the room I booked although the descriptions were very different along with the price I paid for a one bed room budget and a one bedroom.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and recently renovated. The property was well maintained. Every employee I spoke to was friendly. There is plenty of parking, and it is included in the cost.

There were tons of employees in golf carts at all hours, creating many traffic hazards on the properties. There was often a massive backup at the gate from 2pm until after 7pm, as they would use the verified guest lane for non-guests who had to be verified, sometimes taking as long as 5 minutes per vehicle.

I felt the $30/day “resort fee” was misleading. It did not include most amenities seen on the listing. It included things like WiFi (which was terrible) and the in-room safe (?). The water park prominently featured on the listing was not included or discounted, and costs $25 per day per person.
