Overall, our stay was okay, but there were a few issues that impacted our experience. Check-in was smooth, and the pool and jacuzzi near our building were nice. One thing to note is that some of the photos on Expedia featured the water park, but access to the water park was not included with our stay. The biggest issue occurred on our first night. We discovered a significant leak in our room and reported it around 9:30 p.m. We were told someone would arrive within 30 minutes, but it took nearly two hours for anyone to come. By then, our children were already asleep. When maintenance arrived, we were informed the repair would require extensive work and would be addressed the next day. The following evening, while we were spending the day at the parks, we received a call informing us that we would need to change rooms. Unfortunately, we did not return until around midnight, and we then had to move all of our belongings with two sleeping children. After a long day at the parks, this was extremely inconvenient and stressful. When we expressed our concerns, the initial compensation offered was a $50 resort credit, which did not seem appropriate considering the circumstances and the inconvenience of having to relocate rooms so late at night. After further discussion, the resort did provide water park access, which we appreciate. We were also approached about a resort ownership presentation shortly after arrival, which felt a bit more sales-focused than expected.

Everything about my stay was perfect my kids had fun and I like how everything is close by. The one thing I didn't like was I had to pay to use there Water Park which was about $25.00 per person per day. So prepare to pay this if you plan to go and take your kids to the water park. Also I don't understand if you stay in the resort why do we need to pay additional when you checked in. Will I stay here again not sure but my kids already want to go back so at least I know what I have to budget for.

The property is reallly big the bell boys were very nice . Expect one time it was raining and they didn’t want to pick us up . Some staff was very rude and unhelpful. We were told we good do a time share presentation and have a tour of the resort . When I didn’t want to buy a property that for 1000 dollar down payment . The girl got mad walked away they tried to complete the tour with out giving me the tour and no one did anything bout it the two girls that spoke to me wer extremely rude . I did receive the free gifts as promised. Except for discounted park tickets cause they only have certain good discounts only on parks like Aquatica and seaworld . There’s no room service . I just grab towels and blankets that are left out in the open where bug and lizards can get all over them . The water park was fun . The bike rentals and sports rentals were really fun . Would probably stay again .

Everything was beautiful only. I only had two issue 1st one was not cleaning of the rooms daily when staying five or more days housekeeping doesn’t clean ur room and refill items that need filling. So I had to keep calling the front desk for new towels wash towels etc. 2nd issue Rachel giving me a room that didn’t exist I had to drive back around to the front desk for help. All the golf cart drivers couldn’t speak English🤔 I tried saving myself the drive back around to the front

The property is huge with so many amenities! They do try hard to make you buy the time share and I was disappointed that the water park was not included in the stay. Rooms were decent but not as nice as I expected. I would stay there again if I could get a room with the lake view.

This hotel is very family-friendly and offers a wide variety of activities, amenities, and guest services. Overall, we had a great experience. The only area for improvement would be customer service, as some staff members, including housekeeping, could be more welcoming and attentive.

Since this is a timeshare resort, the sales team goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a wonderful stay by providing information about activities, special offers, and resort benefits.

We loved our stay and would definitely return. The excellent amenities and convenient proximity to the theme parks are major advantages that make this resort a great choice for families.

We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was lovely and clean. Beautiful balcony overlooking the pool.

Cons: price does not include water park tickets but they have a package that comes with 2 for only a few bucks more. Just make sure you read which one.

Water park is ONLY open from 10-5. This was a huge disappointment. It does say it online but you have to search for it.

Hotel is absolutely just selling rooms. Zero hospitality from the bellman to reservations. No one can be bothered to help.

The restaurant was the highlight. Food was delicious! Lunch was very slow. Took over an hour to get 3 entrees. Dinner was better. They were quick with the kids meals but slower for ours. With all that said, it’s pricey.

I would certainly return. I’ll just set my expectations accordingly.

We decided to stay here because we had stayed at a Westgate property in the past and it is close to where our daughter lives. We got in around 7pm after helping our daughter move into her apartment. The staff was not friendly. TVs were not working we called and maintenance came after about an hour and said the remotes had to be reprogrammed so they did that. Then, we were put in a hearing impaired room and the tvs were set to that so they dictated the shows on the tv. That took us a while to turn off. Then around 9pm we tried to take showers...no hot water or pressure. No one came to fix so we called again in the morning. Finally got that fixed. Also the resort is dirty, very dated looks like the 80s, carpet needs replaced feels icky, there was alot of marijuana smell when out on balcony. The washer had rust in it and there was only extra pillow for the pull out. I would not stay here again or recommend.

My stay at Westgate Resorts had both positives and areas for improvement. The resort itself is beautiful, very clean. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment, pool area, and water park.

However, the check-in experience was not very welcoming, and it was concerning to hear rooms might not be ready despite the 4:00 PM check-in time. There is no housekeeping and we had to call twice for towels.
We dined at two restaurants on the property. At Amigos, the staff was friendly; however, the food quality did not meet expectations. In contrast, the food at Sid’s restaurant was very good, although the overall dining experience was impacted by slow and somewhat disorganized service. Despite the restaurant being approximately 75% empty, the wait time was around 45 minutes, and the staff did not appear particularly welcoming.
On our third day, the power in our room went out. Maintenance addressed the issue promptly the following day, which we appreciated. Had we known the circuit breaker panel was located behind the mirror, the issue may have been resolved sooner.

My main concern was the 10:00 AM checkout time, which feels unusually early. Extending checkout to 11:00 AM would significantly improve the guest experience. While I understand the operational need to prepare rooms for incoming guests, the current checkout policy can make departing guests feel rushed. Overall, property is beautiful improvement in customer service and hospitality would enhance guest experience.

We stayed for a weekend athletic event that was at Disney. This was a great location! We enjoyed the variety of dining options, pools, and I really enjoyed the fitness center. This would be a great location for family get aways. I loved that our room had laundry and a kitchenette. Would absolutely stay here again.

I booked a deluxe studio villa and upon arrival, maybe because it was Mother’s Day weekend and we got there around 1AM but the man checking us in upgraded my son and I into a 1 bedroom villa! He gave me all the info about things to do and amenities, gave me a map for all the pools and told me just about anything else I needed to know about the resort. Anyways the 1 bedroom villa (in building 5800) must’ve been renovated recently because it didn’t look anything like the pictures I’ve seen when I originally booked. It had a full kitchenette, I never really had to leave the resort to eat out since I was able to cook in our place.

I just wish the waterpark was opened a little longer and they didn’t have height restrictions for the water slides, my son is fairly tall and was only allowed to use the 3 “big kid” ones and wanted to use the others on the 2nd floor waterpark since he was scared but he was told he couldn’t.

Definitely planning to come back again, the last time I stayed at Westgate was back in 2007 or 2008 when I was a kid. You can’t beat the price and staff were extremely friendly. If you’re not a miserable entitled Kevin/Karen and you’re pleasant to staff, you’ll love your stay here and they’ll treat you with the same kind of respect!

Hard to give this trip a good review. While the hotel was in fair to good condition, the WiFi was terrible and we had to call 3 different days to complain about it. The solution was to give us another WiFi name which still didn’t work or worked intermittently. We also called for TOILET PAPER and didn’t receive it for 5hrs. Overall I don’t think I would stay here again

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds are great but if you want a hot shower FORGET ABOUT IT! You have to let the water run for over 20 minutes to get lukewarm water. The place was quiet and well maintained but hot water is a necessity!

In my honest opinion it was pretty ghetto. While they have alot on the property its like staying in a ghetto apartment building. Neighbors were loud all hours of the night. The arcade is decent for kids but expensive. Wasn’t able to use the waterpark so cant comment. Both restaurants have okay food (not great, not horrible )but terrible service. All in all i would not recommend and wont be staying there again.

We’ve stayed at Westgate Resorts in the past, and it’s truly a great place for the entire family. The only drawback this time was that some of the restaurants on the resort have closed. The room décor could also use a little updating, but aside from that, everything was very clean and reasonably priced.
I’d personally like to give a special thank you to Sean from New York, a member of the staff who made a lasting impression on us. He was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the property.

The hotel was comfortable but the furniture felt a bit outdated but it's clean. One issue I had was with the washer and dryer—the machine washed properly, but it didn’t dry the clothes well, which was inconvenient.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the pool, it’s beautiful and well-maintained. I mainly chose this hotel for the pool and water park, which were great. However, I was disappointed that there is an additional $25 fee per person to access the water park, and this was not clearly mentioned during the reservation process.

Inside the hotel, especially at the front desk area, the atmosphere was excellent. They offer entertainment for kids, including games and a small cinema, which is a big plus for families. The service overall was very good, and I appreciated the complimentary popcorn—they were a nice touch.

The restaurant was good, but one downside is that there are no breakfast options available. There is only a Starbucks on-site, and they do not accept cash, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

Overall, the hotel has some great amenities, especially for families, but there are a few areas that could be improved, particularly in transparency about extra fees and updating the furniture.

The room had a weird smell, dust and mildew in the main bedroom bathroom. Also, the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom was not a true suite but separate units with adjoining door. Not the best for what we needed as a family.

The makeup mirror was a nice touch and had amble towels, extras toiletries and toilet paper in bathroom plus extra kitchen supplies.

The property was nice with many activities. We had a good time.

Staff there was amazing. Always welcoming. However the room was definitely smaller than in the pictures. Bedroom was excellent same with bathroom but the kitchen living room was combined to,where u can't even use the pull out couch and move around. You have to move the table and be almost against the sink from the foot of the bed. Pictures so it seperate and it is not. I wish that the amenities on the resort were including. Some were yet some were not.

Just didn’t like the fact the bedroom was near the walk way and no curtain to close/block light coming from the walk way and I need it completely dark to sleep.. and a little weird you can still see through the blinds they had. I ended up hanging a sheet to cover the window but will probably think about staying somewhere else because of this.

The place was nice and very family-friendly. I just wish they were more proactive with cleaning—if you don’t call for housekeeping or fresh towels, they won’t bring them. That said, the property itself was great. I loved the restaurants and activities they offered, and the staff was quick to resolve any issues. My only other complaint is the checkout time—10 a.m. feels too early, especially when check-in isn’t until 4 p.m. Overall, it’s a great place, and I would return.

Our room looked beautiful to the eyes. It did have a mildewy and cigarette smell. The rugs looked filthy my socks got dirty immediately when I took off my shoes. The sofa bed where my son slept had an older mattress. His back was uncomfortable. The furniture and decor definitely needs updating. The wardrobe dresser had a dirty sock or dirty laundry smell. The bathroom door was a little off the hinge and made noise. However, the staff was friendly and polite.
