We chose this resort because it was dog friendly and had plenty of amenities. It did not disappoint. There is plenty to do without leaving the resort. The building we were in was a little old but close to a pool so that was ok. We wish the mini golf stayed open later. Overall loved it and would stay again.

This property is nice and conveniently located near to major attractions in Kissimmee. The cost wasn’t bad for the unit we received, but it was pretty dated and could have been cleaner in some areas. I usually do a bit of a deep clean when I get to frequently used spaces, but had to do a thorough clean in the kitchenette area, especially the flat stove stop. Overall, not bad and you can save money by preparing meals if you have a kitchen/kitchenette situation.

All the attractions close real early and they should think about opening the gym earlier or keep it up later one or the other there was a lot of smoking and I’m talking about marijuana not family friendly literally saw a man smoking at the pool the room next to me reeked of weed

A fantastic resort that you get to be home away from home! I was blown away with our stay and will definitely be going back. We didn’t get to indulge in the amenities as we went for a short weekend trip with Disney planned.

The stay was mediocre to poor. Staff tries to sell time shares when you check in. Uncool.
Guests are charged $25 to use the \"waterpark\", which is a pool and a slide. Even if you do not swim and are just going into it to look after your children, they still charge you. You'll smell the aroma of skunk weed while you and your children are at the pool.
The room was run down with cheap appointments, hair dryer was cracked, and they need a visit from the exterminator. Halls are dimly lit, and a place I'd avoid after dark.
Despite this, the staff were very professional and helpful. A shout out to the security team who were exceptionally helpful and a shout out the housekeeping staff for keeping these old and decrepit rooms clean.

We loved our stay there, so much to do and not enough time to do it all!!we had a Medieval Time show and a Luau scheduled for 2 nights offsite and wished that the mini Golf and tennis were still open when we got back .i loved thatbit had so much for kids to do and so Family friendly! The staff was great and the place was so clean, pools were also clean, GREAT place.

The water park is not part of the room cost. It should not be advertised as it is. The room was clean bed was soft and comfy. The only thing was our door for some reason any kind of air drift our door would rattle. The water from the sink and shower smelled awful like sulfur. The restaurant onsite Sid’s was absolutely amazing! I would visit to eat there but not stay again.

Very nice place. The high resort fees don’t cover the water park. You have to pay 25.00 to use that which might be costly for families that were planning on using it daily. They also charged 7 dollars to use a bike for two hours. So, I’m not sure what the resort fees covered. They did have evening things to do and movies to watch at certain times of day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They text you during the day to let you know of events going on and you can text back if you have any questions. Very helpful.

The place is very big with a lot of activities for the children, however my family and I stayed for 5 days and not one day did staff come to clean the room. There was no clean lien or towels, I had to find someone to ask for clean towels and rags daily. I also had to empty my own trash each day.

This property is so close to Disney World! Just location location. The process to check in is not the best as you have to park across the street then walk in. Other than that we did not stay long as we left for disney everyday, butvthe staff always chwcked on us and sent reminders of events.

Was charged for Monday night when we didn’t arrive until Tuesday 😡 staff in the Mexican restaurant were so rood, food was cold manager was beyond rude. Poolside bars/food were never open. No shampoo or coffe filters in room, car rental people were very rude. Never will book through this Expedia again!!!!!!

The WiFi was unusable. I could connect. However, a basic webpage took 30 seconds or more to load. There was no way to stream youtube or even music.

There were not enough luggage carts for guests. I the staff using them didn't help. The bathtub had a major mold issue. Of the jets was also broken and just sealed off. The shower and 1 bathroom sink dripped. There was also other signs of neglect. Burnt out light bulbs and the carpet in the sitting area was extremely dirty (it needs a good steam clean and extraction. (it was vacuumed). The patio table looks like it hasn't been cleaned in several guest rotations. Some of the silverware had figure prints. The inside of the dishwasher looks like it had turd crusted to the racks ( I think it is just rust but looks bad).

The first room we stayed in was enough. The curtains in the living area needed to be rehung. They were falling off the rod. The kitchenette is very small so hard to cook anything. The fridge was a small fridge and it froze all our food. Hard to make coffee. Not enough room to open the top of the coffee maker to put the coffee in. This unit may be ok for a couple of days but not for a long stay. We upgraded to a 2 bedroom and that was much better. There were no 1 bedrooms with a full kitchen and laundry room available at the time. After our upgrade we were much happier and had a great vacation.
The WIFI was not great all the time we were there. Other than that all was good.

The resort as a whole was really great. It was nice to have the water park on site, although it does cost extra, $25 per person, per day. The staff were excellent. The rooms could be cleaner, the floors eapecially and the beds are in serious need of an upgrade. The location was phenomenal if you are going to the Disney parks! I don't think you could get any closer unless you stayed at an actual Disney resort. Overall, I would stay again if the matresses were replaced but I would recommend to others for the convenience of location and the amenities.

It was a fun resort for myself, wife, and 8 year old daughter. There was so much do to . We enjoyed the water park, minigolf, arcade, and the Mexican restaurant. Walmart was walking distance. Unfortunately the only downside was there aren’t really any restaurants within reasonable walking distance. Also it seems the pizza place for room service doesn’t exist anymore, even though it’s on their website.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa. Very nice! My kids enjoyed the pool even though weather was chilly the enjoyed the heated pool. The day we wanted to go to the waterpark we realized it closed at 5 or 5:30 cant remember. So that was a bummer considering it was almost 3 pm when we wanted to go. We forgot our key, i called the lobby and they had somebody in a timely matter to come and open our villa. Also got clean towels in a timely matter too.

Rooms look completely outdated. housekeeping was nonexistent. 1st hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t have a store to buy waters or basic snacks etc. that’s open pass 7pm .. same it the room are really far away from the main lobby. A 10mins walk. No transportation outside of those buildings. You have to call and wait for 20 minutes. They offer tickets to theme parks and no shuttle to this theme parks. Would not recommend this place.

The rooms are not all up to par. Everything is far away and you pay for things you really don’t use . I called and asked for more toilet paper for the bathroom and the guy acted as if he didn’t know what hat I was talking about . He then had someone deliver a tissue box holder to my room still with no toilet paper. I would never book here again I also wouldn’t recommend it .

My only complaints were being told the restraints close at 11 and they do not and them Brien stuff shooting out the jets of the jacuzzi when I started it up and not being granted what I was promised by housekeeping when they finally came. Other than that o had no other complaints and my kids had fun so we may try visiting one more time.

My flught was cancelled so i vouldnt get there tge original night scheduled, they would not refund when i called to let them knlw our flight was cancelled and we wouldnt be coming until the following day. Upon arrival to the Front desk, Rachel was rude when i inquired about my water passes. I upgraded when i booked for the water park/Arcade package and when she gave me the pass, it was water park and no arcade and she stated it was only good for 1 entrance. My son and i were staying there, there was 1 blanket. I asked staff for blankets, they said they couldnt give me a blanket. I called the desk. They said they would send me only 1 blanket, could not send more. They never sent the blanket. I called back and they said they were running behind but would get it over to me. I never recieved the blanket.

The room was very nice and spacious. The location of the room was perfect. I liked the fact that I can call for transport to the waterpark (onsite) which was super convenient being I was traveling with toddlers and the wait time wasn’t long at all. The staff was really nice. I would love to come back and stay again :))

If I could give this resort half a star I would. First time ever a resort has charged me $5 per package delivered at a hotel. I picked it up the same day and when I asked about it they didn't notify me of the fee. When we arrived at the room the dishwasher was running and leaking. I came downstairs to let them know and they say they will send somebody to verify if I was telling the truth! They charged fees for everything and you do not have access to the water park or mini golf. Those are extra.

Staff was friendly but the rooms are dated. Air conditioning did not work even after staff was informed on day 2. They do not clean your room daily which may have been in the fine print but by paying the resort fees, you would think they would be. Air conditioners for villas that were working were right outside and noisy all night long. Overall just not the experience we had hoped for. Thank goodness we didn't spend much time in the villa.

The rooms themselves were great, especially having the kitchenette. To be honest, the WiFi is spotty and pretty much didn’t work in our room for our entire stay including spotty cell service which didn’t help. The resort does not offer shuttle service to any nearby attractions so we had to use uber for anywhere we went. It was not a problem for us as I had planned for that just in case, but if you’re looking for shuttle service, they don’t have it. Lastly, I would just say the walls are a little on the thinner side. We were able to hear the neighbors snoring while in our bed and also were able to hear the neighbors near our entrance playing loud video games late at night.

All in all, I would definitely stay there again because of the affordability and newer updated rooms as well as the amenities the resort provides. The beds were comfortable and the resort itself was in a convenient part of town for the Disney parks. Definitely worth the money you save by not choosing a Disney branded resort provided you are not a Disney fanatic.

1. This resort is in dire need of a breakfast buffet. Its a resort in orlando near theme parks. Of course we need to eat before the parks. Atleast have restaurants open before noon.

Also, why is the store closed until 10am? Again, we are up early. You are giving free business to wal.art.

Warning*** there is a resort fee of $30 per day that is not mentioned when booked on expedia until AFTER you pay for your reservation. The fee cannot be waived regardless if you use the amenities. The manager was quick to show me that I had signed a waiver for the fee and there would be no refund. The place did not even feel clean to sleep in. I slept one night and ended my trip early, luckily expedia fought for a partial refund.

I stayed in the 5300 building and was very disappointed. The water did not get hot and the heat did not work (we happened to be there during the attic blast so the temperatures were between 45 and 50 degree outside). A maintenance guy came to the room however he did not fix the issue. The one restaurant that the kids enjoyed at the arcade (served pizza, fries, wings) closed at 7PM while the arcade stayed open later which made no sense.

This was my second stay at Westgate and decided it would be my last.
