Not a bad place, but could use some updates and renovations. The vent fan in our bathroom was leaking water (probably from above unit). Staff came over pretty quickly (this was after 10pm, so bonus points for that), but never fixed the problem, and never spoke to us about it again. We had also noted the unit smelled a little bit, like there was stagnant air. Let them know about it but never addressed. Also there was only one garbage can in unit (in bathroom, none in kitchen). Overall I think the place was nice but they do have some things to address.

Property is showing its age and could use a facelift. We arrived after 9pm, tired from a day of traveling, and in order to get the parking pass, we had to visit the time share desk. The time share pressure was unwanted. Arrived at the room only to find we had no cups and no extra toilet paper. We requested the items, but they were never delivered. Simple details are signs of larger issues and as such, we will not stay here again.

Let me start with the positives: The staff was kind and the room was a nice size. The pool was also very nice.

Now for the not so positive: One big thing that wasn’t mentioned to me when booking the room or upon check-in was that housekeeping services were not included. If I wanted housekeeping services during my 4 night stay, it would cost extra. That seemed pretty ridiculous to me. You also had to take out your own trash. I saw a huge cockroach in my bathroom as well. The wi-fi was also very spotty and didn’t work well, making it hard to use my laptop or steam a tv show.

It was a good value for a quick stay. I booked the suite so that my husband and I could have the main bed/room and planned to have my 15 year old use the pull out couch in the living area. We got in late and we were disappointed that there was only an empty bag that most likely should have had bedding for the couch.

The only downside was having to sit down with a guest service person to obtain a parking pass and made to listen to their spiel about a time share opportunity that would only take 90 minutes of my time and not accepting my \"no\" the first time. In this marketing attempt I was asked, loudly in the middle of the lobby, if I was married or single. Completely inappropriate question, I don't care if it's part of the marketing or not, that question places guests at a greater risk for safety/security issues. This question needs to be remedied so that your guests feel safe while on your property. Your sales people also need to take \"no\" as the answer the first time it is given.

I appreciated the location, and the pool. However, I requested that I had a door stop fixed and cups delivered to my room that never happened. I wasn't extremely thrilled with requests being neglected. I also did not have a microwave in my room - not sure what was up with that. It's a beautiful property, but I will say my stay last year was better than this year. Also, this place had the worst pillows for King Size beds, I've ever seen - flat, not supportive at all.

Staff was friendly, unfortunately room wasn’t very clean, brown substance all over the blinds and doors almost like it was cleaned very dirty water, old crusty molded food at edge of the bed. A/c stopped working in the middle of the night. The bed was extremely worked out about 4” thick and goes completely flat when layed on. (For reference I’m 200lbs) very dissatisfied with the quality of this hotel, the price is cheap but almost get motel vibes vs high end hotel vibes

This resort was okay. Staff was friendly, but the room wasn’t ready for almost 3 hours after check-in time (not fun news to get after a 6 hour drive). The resort is located next to an extremely busy two-lane road which gets bogged down easily. We were visiting to go to Disney World, and in theory, DAK was 5 minutes away but it would take 30+ minutes to get back to the resort.

The room was decent, not much different than a typical condo.

Loved the spacious ,clean 1 bedroom villa. There was no noise around. We had all the amenities needed, washer/dryer,stove,fridge. Large bathroom. Would definitely recommend! Only disappointment was that room was not ready and had to wait over an hour and a half.

My stay at Silver Lake Resort was just OK. It’s definitely not a traditional hotel — it’s more of a timeshare condo-style property. When I checked in and got directions to my building (I was in the 1800 building on the first floor), I quickly realized this is a “drive around” property, not a “walk to the lobby” setup. My building was quite a distance from the front desk.

The unit itself was clean and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, which may be great for longer stays. However, for a short one- or two-night trip, it wasn’t the hotel experience I was expecting when booking through Hotels.com.

The pool area was nice, which was a plus. There’s also a restaurant on site, but it closes at 8 p.m. and appears to be independently operated, not managed by the resort. I did have an okay sandwich there one night — nothing amazing, but decent.

A few inconveniences stood out. The TV in my room did not work. All of the vending machines I checked were out of water, and I never did find an ice machine (there may have been one somewhere, but it wasn’t obvious). The bedroom windows had poorly fitting blinds that let in a lot of light from the very bright parking lot lights, which made it hard to keep the room dark at night.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay — just not what I was looking for. If you’re planning an extended visit, bringing groceries, and cooking your own meals, this place might suit you well. But if you’re staying a night or two and want more of a traditional hotel

First, let's start with a positive - Collis (a manager on duty was very nice)

Now, the things you need to know:
1) when you first check in, you'll be told to go to another desk to get your Parking Pass. These young men (one was named Alan) are trying to get your credit card to reserve a 'free' breakfast or lunch. I've been thru enough time share pitches to know what was going on, and we asked him 3 times to just give us our parking pass so we can be on our way. Finally, seeing we were not interested, he was really nasty. Avoid this man if you can.
2) no one answers the phone here! At one point, my wife and i took turns dialing the number to see how long the front desk would leave us on hold. After a half hour of calling and calling back, we gave up. This happened right after checking in and again a few hours later. Avoid calling the front desk, you always have to go in person.

The price was right for the amount of space that we had. We had a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. However, the units themselves are pretty basic. If you don't care about frills, then this place would work nicely for a large family for a longer stay on a budget. There is a pool and some sports amenities like a basketball court that looked nice from the street, but we never used them.

I will say this place we very difficult to find. Googlemaps took us to the back entrance and we had to scan a QR code at the locked gate to find the front entrance. Apparently during the day time, there is a guard who can let you in, but sadly, we arrived long after dark.

Lastly, be forewarned, you will get a pitch for a time share when you check in. I didn't realize when I booked the place but it makes sense considering how little I paid for our unit. They weren't overly aggressive, but I found it odd that the guest services rep who was supposed to give me a parking pass was questioning if I came with my husband. Apparently they won't pitch you too hard if your husband isn't around to make the financial decisions ...

Every employee at the desk had on a name tag that says “ Hospitality specialist “ there wasn’t anything hospitable about the experience from any of them. The room wasn’t even ready 30 min before check in. The 400 building sounds like it has the Daytona 500 behind it. The dishwasher was running empty to appear as tho something was being cleaned. The front bedroom has hallway & parking lot lights so bright the room is lite up and can’t sleep. No trash cans in the vanity area of the bathroom. Only thing great about this was the location.

The room was decent for the price , location was ideal and property/pool was well maintained. Our issue was that we checked in late on arrival day after spending the day at Disney world, our bedding was soiled. Fitted bottom sheet had a large stain, and the comforter was stained with blood spots. We were very disgusted . The next morning the housekeeping manger came up and changed bedding and offered assistance. But the damage was already done , besides that we would have enjoyed our short stay. It would have been nice if they offered us a discount or some compensation for arriving to a dirty bed as this shows minimal efforts by the house keeping department .

Unfortunately the resort is not what the pictures show. We booked a last minute getaway and although it’s close to all things Disney the resort itself it is outdated. The resort only has one food place and a very small pool side bar. When we got to our room there was a burn mark in our sheets in the bed. I do not recommend staying here.

Front desk staff is always the best. Really love staying here and they start us off on a great foot. Room was clean and very nice. Only concern is lack of parking close to the entrances to some of the buildings, and coming back from the parks, have to walk a little bit. Not a big issue, but I'd like to walk less after a long day. Avoid the timeshare talk, they'll hold you hostage.

Girlfriend caught an eye stye from the pillowcase. Made a visit to Dr and some eyedrops fixed it quick. Buildings do have some age, but best location for quick access to Animal Kingdom.

The room was like a low end motel. Fridge was broken, shower head had mildew, and the floors were gross. They offer you a “free breakfast” for a 15 minute presentation which took 2.5 hours of pushy sales and they charge you $40 if you leave early. Offered free week as a gift which is did not receive. The staff were ok. The amenities were subpar at best. The “restaurant” by the pool closed before 8 pm which left only the food in the gift store. No transport at all and far enough to need a ride share. All in all it was by far my worst experience at a “resort”.

There’s a lot of things broken that needs to be repaired like the shower drips non stop , if you turn on the water in one room and shower in the other you would get cold water, bathroom cabinets squeak, and don’t close properly, For the most part it was clean and spacious but can tell that has not been updated in many years
