Our family had a great time and enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Unfortunately didn't have enough time to enjoy the entire property. This is not a hotel to stay at if you’re visiting other parks, you wont want to leave this property!

Staff was very unhelpful and disorganized. I had to pack my kids up and leave . Ruined our vacation along with all the money wasted on groceries. Never again

this was my first stay at Holiday Inn at Orange Lake. I was pleasantly surprised. the Property is large, nonetheless, food and activities is within 10 min drive. additionally, if you do no want to leave the property you don't have to, they have activities on site. the villa had enough room for my family, along with a nice size kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living and dining room, and full size washer and dryers. the stay was friendly and pleasant. if you need place to stay, please do not skip over this resort.

Property was 👍 awesome 💯! However my flight was delayed due to weather and the staff was unwilling to give me a later check out time even though I was willing to pay extra . I was told to be out the room promptly at check out time! I had to book another hotel near the airport for a few hours until flights we available. Absolutely fail on management!

Orange Lake Resort blew us away from start to finish. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the check-in was smooth and effortless.
Our villa was spacious, super clean, and felt just like home — having a full kitchen was a game changer for our family.
The pool complex is absolutely amazing. The lazy river alone is worth every penny! There's always something fun to do, with water activities and live entertainment to keep everyone happy throughout the day.
The location is perfect, close to all Orlando attractions yet peaceful enough to truly relax.
We're already counting down the days until our next visit. Highly recommended

DO NOT FALL FOR THE COMPLIMENTARY “TOUR”. They will literally lure you under false pretense. I was carted to 3 different buildings sat at 5 separate tables just to be haggled into buying a timeshare. It was awful. I wish I would’ve lost the 50$. I will NEVER come back here.

We recently stayed at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort as a family, and overall we had a great experience. We were upgraded to a clean and spacious 2-bedroom villa, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and perfect for traveling with kids.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was the only downside, as we arrived around 11:00 a.m. and our room wasn’t ready until about 4:00 p.m. However, the team kept us informed, and we were able to make good use of the resort amenities while we waited.

The kids absolutely loved the pools, and we enjoyed spending time at the restaurants on-site. The golf course was also in great condition and added to the overall resort experience.

There is so much to do here for families that the wait for the room didn’t take away from our trip. Between the pools, dining options, golf, and family-friendly atmosphere, this was a memorable vacation for all of us.

We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to families looking for a fun and relaxing Orlando-area resort.

I booked this trip a few months back. I did not realize at the time that the property was so large. When I figured this out I called them to see if they offered good cart rentals. I was told they only did this for the golf course. No worries, we can drive around. During checking they let me know that they do rent golf carts, I was extremely happy to hear that. I went to rent a golf cart and they were booked out. This is frustrating because I checked this in May and was told no. This was annoying but not a trip ruiner. Our second day there we went to utilize the lazy river. We walked around looking to rent tubes as you cannot bring your own. We asked an employee and they pointed to the \"sun shack\" or something along those lines. We walk there and it was closed. We keep walking and ask another employee. This one points is to the mini golf course. We go there to hear they're sold out. That ruined the lazy river for us. There were a ton of minor inconveniences that limited enjoyability. I was the 8th person in line at check-in and it took 40 minutes. Construction below us was loud throughout the day. The rooms AC would never get cold and allowed for a lot of moisture. We normally go to Aqua Sol right down the road, we tried this place ok a whim. It's back to Aqua Sol for us.

Although we only stayed one night because our flight was canceled, we had a great experience at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort. The resort was beautiful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating during a stressful travel situation.

We didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the amenities, but from what we saw, the pools, grounds, and overall atmosphere were impressive. We definitely wish we could have stayed longer and explored more of the resort.

We look forward to coming back in the future for a longer stay and taking full advantage of everything the resort has to offer. Thank you for making an unexpected travel delay much more enjoyable!

The resort overall is nice. There needs to be increased oversight at the main pool with the lazy river. There were teens horseplaying and jumping into the lazy river off the rock fountains surrounding the river. This was very dangerous as they could have injured themselves on the other guests floating by. At minimum, it was a nuisance to others trying to enjoy this amenity.

We had an amazing stay at this resort! The villas are absolutely awesome—spacious, clean, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a long day in the sun.The absolute highlight of the trip was the pool area. If you visit, you have to spend time enjoying the lazy river! It is incredibly relaxing and well-maintained. The location is also perfect for accessing the beach and checking out the local area. We will definitely be back!

Washer machines need to be updated they were making loud noises and vibrating all over the place. Front desk hard to contact on personal phone . Use the room phone and you won’t have any issues. My room key was not working so I was locked out called front desk 3x and was disconnected. I was able to waive down security and let me in until I was able to get a new key card

What was there not to like! We had stayed there before the pandemic hit. We weren’t very happy or satisfied with the staff service nor the rooms cleanliness or appearance back then. So my husband and I decided to give it another change. 5 or 6 years later, when we went this time, much, but much more was improved. The only thing is that we couldn’t stay longer due to having other responsibilities back home with my elderly parents who live with us but we couldn’t bring them since this was our 26th anniversary and we just wanted to spend time together to relax and recharge our batteries.

I love the property and love the pools etc.We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa on the west side of the property. We were traveling with several of my friends and all of our teenage kids. There were 15 in total. We talked to the property staff a few days before we checked in to try and make sure our two 3 bedroom villas were near each other. After 30 minutes on the phone with a representative, she assured me that we would be in building 5500 and on the same floor. She put it in both of the notes of both reservations. We were also told they would remove the resort fee when we checked in because we were FL residents (FL and GA residents have their resort fee waived) Our day of check in was extremely frustrating as the staff at the front desk said we would NOT be on the same floor as our other party we were traveling with, and we would NOT be getting our resort fee waived. We were told we should take care of the resort fee when we reserved. We asked them to please show us exactly how so we would know for next time. She just repeated over and over that is should be done ahead of time. She then waived it with a snarky \"This time\" we will. honour it but not next time. We were also put on different floors. Also at check out - our other party was given a late checkout by an hour - our villa was told \"absolutly NOT\" We only wanted ONE hour. OUr villa was not allowed like the other party we traveled with. We also had no bedding for one of our sofa beds. We asked and it was never given to us.

We had a great stay with our family. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for two adults and two children. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is excellent, with easy access to Disney Word.

The kids especially enjoyed the pool and waterpark areas, and lazy river which made the stay fun. The property is very family-friendly and offers plenty of activities for children and adults.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel to families visiting Orlando. We would gladly stay here again.

The check in staff were not helpful. They were rushed, didn’t go over the policies, and were very annoyed that we didn’t want to do the timeshare presentation. We’ve stayed here 3 other times and usually love it. This time our unit was not clean, the patio was not enclosed, there was mouse droppings at the front door and all over the patio. The floor in the unit was so uneven that the shower glass doors wouldn’t stay closed and we had to slam the bedroom doors to get them to close. The pools were dirty and not in good condition. The lazy river wasn’t flowing and had tons of trash, leaves, and dirt in it. Both slides for the pool were closed. The chlorine was so strong that it bleached all color out of my daughter’s swim suit after 1 hour of swimming! In the past, when we stayed a week, housekeeping would come once. This time we stayed 9 nights and they told us we couldn’t get housekeeping unless we stayed 10 nights.
The unit was very well stocked with all the dishes and cookware that we needed. We love having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the full kitchen. It really helps with our longer stay. The location is great. We were just very disappointed to see how poorly the property is being maintained.

Very large resort with lots of room options depending on your family size. We came to Orlando to go to Disney World and we really liked how close this resort was to the parks. I also really appreciated having the washer and dryer to wash clothes as we were there. We had a two bedroom condo with a full size kitchen. Our place was huge. More than enough room for us. Though the resort is a bit outdated it was well maintained and clean and had everything we needed.

Raccoons spotted multiple times on my floor trying to eat stuff with poop all over the stairs. Was not what we planned for at all. The water slides were cool.

The only thing that really was bothersome is that the cleaning crew was knocking on our door at 9am and our check out was at 10am. They came back atleast every 10 minutes to check if we were already out. If the check out was at 10am, why is the cleaning crew already trying to get us out at 9am? We felt pressured and rushed to get out of our villa. I lost my necklace pendant before leaving the villa and because of being rushed to leave I didn’t get a chance to look for it.

We really loved it here! The staff was great, the 2 bedroom villa was clean, modern and updated. We ate at two of the restaurants. One was the Barbecue shack on River island and that was excellent and the Paisan Pizzeria had great pizza. There are so many activities to do. The pools are great but they were pretty crowded due to the holiday. We went to two of the arcades on the property and had fun there. We rented a pontoon boat which was expensive but a blast on the lake. We would definitely go back. They did ask me if I wanted a tour which equals time share lecture but when I said I wan't interested they didn't get pushy. The shuttle was great but I would rent a golf cart as the property and the villages with different amenities were spaced out.

This would appear on Expedia as a normal rental but it has a dark side. Once you check in, you are transferred to a high pressure fast talking sales team that will not stop until you are signed up for a 2 hour 'tour' which is really just a high pressure pitch to get you to buy a timeshare. Once I realized what they had me sign, I wanted out but they would not allow it and it would cost $80 to drop the 'tour'. This wasted half a day of my vacation. If you can just say \"No\" to all the sales pressure, this is a nice place.

The pools, golf, and other amenities are what make this property. But just know that of the 2,500 rooms on property 98% of them are timeshares and they are going to beg and beg and beg you to do a “free property tour” and entice you with things like a “free 7 day vacation” or a “$200 gift card” to sit through a presentation where they beg and beg and beg you to join Holiday Inn Club Vacations timeshares. Very pushy and mean if you decline.
Also our room was overall nice for what we needed but it smelled really musty or mildewy which was a bummer.
The pool areas are great and my husband loved the 9 hole lighted night golf course. Not sure if we will be back though.

I surprise my husband and took him away for a three day weekend getaway. He had never been there before. We both enjoyed every minute of our stay! The staff were wonderful, the pools were wonderful to swim in, the restaurants served delicious food and the weight was not long at all. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary in October.

Those rooms that are booked that say water park included which is why we reserved this room, is very deceiving as we thought it was included. Not very happy about that. Overall, a great experience! We were on our yearly trip to Disney party of 3 and the villa was the perfect size for us with plenty of room. Super clean! Very well maintained. Pools were relaxing and clean. Only negative was that it is a vacation club so be ready after check in for them to try to nickel and dime you before you go to your room! Otherwise, a very pleasant experience and will stay again.

10/10 — Orange Lake Resort is truly our home away from home and the ONLY place we stay for good reason. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back every couple of months, and the second we get home, we’re already looking to book our next trip back.

From the moment you arrive, everything feels like pure paradise. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and immaculately clean. The villas are spacious, luxurious, and stocked with every amenity you could possibly need. Between relaxing in the villa and spending time at River Island and the lazy river, you could easily spend all day and night here without ever wanting to leave with all the countless activities and Amenities they have to offer. Let's not forget the incredible food, and golf course!!

What truly sets Orange Lake apart is the unmatched hospitality and customer service. The staff consistently make every stay feel personalized, relaxing, and unforgettable. We arrived very early in the morning and our room was not ready yet, but Nestor went above and beyond in a way that completely exceeded our expectations and became the highlight of our entire trip. Monica is also incredible and is always so helpful each time we stay here, always accommodating, and attentive whenever we need anything.
