The after hours check-in staff were less than helpfull. We had to look around to find our room. The food was expensive and the cocktails were way overpriced. Our bill was more than what was quoted when we booked on Expedia. I had to bring this to their attention, then they found that we were charged a \"no show fee\" when we specifically texted earlier to get a late check in because our flight was delayed over 4 hours. The bill was corrected.

We had an overall nice stay and would definitely highlight the pool as a standout feature. It’s handicap accessible with a walk-in design, which made it super convenient for both little kids and older adults—very family-friendly. The pool bar offered good food and drink options, though everything was a bit on the pricey side (pretty standard for a hotel setting).

The room itself was beautiful, well-equipped with all the essentials, and the balcony was a really nice touch for relaxing.

The main downside was the service. It felt quite slow at times, and there was a noticeable lack of proactive customer service. During check-in, I found myself having to ask basic questions about the property instead of being given helpful information upfront. It’s the small things that really shape the guest experience, and better communication would have made a big difference.

Overall, a pleasant stay with great amenities, but service improvements would elevate the experience significantly.

Our recent stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando was disappointing from start to finish. It feels like there’s always something missing at these resorts—and unfortunately, this visit confirmed that for us.

We were initially placed on the ground floor where a maintenance worker was visibly looking into a nearby room. When we questioned it, we were told it was because there was a man in our party—which felt like an odd and uncomfortable explanation.

After requesting a room change, the second room had a non-working phone, so we couldn’t even call down for help with our luggage. In the third room, the decorative pillow on the bed was covered in long black hairs—completely unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint.

To make matters worse, on our final day, housekeeping never came. The hallways were lined with garbage bags, making it seem like the entire floor had been skipped.

The food was average at best, and breakfast options were very limited—only a pre-made café. For a resort of this level, not having a proper sit-down breakfast restaurant is surprising and disappointing.

Also worth noting: the water park is advertised as being connected to the resort, but it is not. It’s completely separate and requires about a 5-minute walk, which may not sound like much but is misleading based on how it’s presented.

We went on a family staycation to this location. I like being greeted by a wonderful staff upon arrival, specially with the tasty cocktail. the color scheme throughout the hotel made you feel like you were staying at a true island resort. Love the view from my balcony. Good and clean room accommodations, but the pillows and beds were not as comfortable as other hotels we’ve visited. I like having daily actives, but felt that for spring break more activities would have been even better. We loved walking and shopping at sunset walk promenade. And specially enjoyed brunch at Euphoria with our server Maryann. We also enjoyed an afternoon of spanish and Caribbean inspired tapas at Euphoeria. B. The kids always like to go to the biloxi margaritaville location because of the size of the arcade so they were a bit disappointed to only see less that 10 games onsite. The promenade did have an arcade but having one onsite is perfect for smaller kids that cannot wander outside of the hotel without supervision. We spent a morning at one of the hotel pools and also took advantage of the h2O water park. It was great! A lot of great eating options within walking distance from the hotel and great live music in-house and the promenade. I think the last think we expected were more rapid ready to make meal options at the provisions. We like going to resorts and enjoy visiting resorts where there is so much happening onsite that there is not really much need to venture out.

Margaritaville itself was very clean. Staff was friendly. I did not like that. They tried to sell me a timeshare, but it was walking distance to multiple restaurants. There was a car show Friday and Saturday night and plenty of bars to walk to an entertainment. It was a nice place to stay.

I hate staying in Disney it’s so expensive and overpriced and you get nothing for your money. This place is only a 15 minute drive away. You feel like your peace. when you get away from the park. You’re not treated like cattle. Quiet rooms awesome pool always activities to do very relaxing very laid back awesome resort. And fancy and classy, but you don’t have to worry about ignorent people. Everybody’s pretty cool.

Excellent few days visiting Orlando non park related. Many food options pool area was a day out in and of itself. Rooms are bright clean had a great large balcony and they had a great downtown area if u wanted to stay close for dinner and drinks outside the resort. Highly recommend. What’s there not to like ! It’s Margaritaville baby 😎

The room needed a lot of deferred maintenance upon our arrival; shower handle, laminate flooring was chipped throughout, the privacy drapes were jammed shut. My main complaint was the lack of seating options in our room. There was a desk chair other than the bed. Another odd thing, our bathroom had a giant drain in the center of it. Very unattractive. The staff were very friendly an 8 on a scale of 10. The food was good however very limited menu and options. We don’t drink so we will probably not be returning. As a note; the staff did make 2 maintenance adjustments to help with our stay. However we should have been put in a room that didn’t require the repairs.

Was a destination in itself. You can uber from airport. Shuttle to parks and walk to plenty of dining spots on sunset walk. Everyone and food was great. Only hic-cup was they forgot our welcome drink but when I brought it up it was quickly remedied. Great entertainment at resort and sunset walk

The gym is essentially unusable. There is a store in the hotel but it lists prices as on thing on the container but then charges nearly double when you check out. Also $50 resort PER DAY so paying hundreds for poor facilities.

Our luggage was gone through by staff. I reported it itemmdiatley when I got back to the room. The maid and maintance department was in our room. I know this happen because I put everything in my suitcase and zipped it up. I didn't have anything of value in the bags so I could not find any thing missing. I was just very upset and disappointed. Also the bar closes at 11:00 pm I thought that was early for a Margaritaville. We didn't arrive at the hotel until late and we would have liked a drink upon arrival. The staff at the front desk were extremly nice. The restaurant staff was also very pleasent. The bar staff was not friendly at all, they just put your drink down and walk away, we were not offered another drink. The pop up bar staff were much more attentive. Thank you

Our stay at the Margaritaville Resort was great. It feels like an experience from the moment you walk in to check in. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Love that there’s a lot of restaurants and things to do nearby walking distance. The only con was the breakfast that we paid extra for. You get your breakfast at the concessions and would have preferred a regular sit in and service breakfast or buffet. Other than that a great time was had.

Hotel is beautiful! Room was very nice and spacious! There is lots to do around the resort. Welcome margaritas is a great touch. Staff is very helpful. I do think things could be explained better. What time shuttles leave and return from the parks. Finding out that it leaves at 7am and comes back at 7pm made me upset. Room service hours-I wanted breakfast and when I tried to order everything was available after 11am I had drinks at the bar that I didn’t like but the live music was very nice! The weather wasn’t on my side so couldn’t enjoy the pool. Also everytime I returned to the hotel I was asked to sign up for time share I hate that. Overall I would love to come again when the waterpark is opened.

The room was very spacious, very clean. House keeping was fast and very friendly. The welcome desk and the reservation desk staff were so friendly and accomodating. We were snowed in, I expended my stay through Expedia because our flight was cancelled and they allowed me to stay in the same room to make the whole process easier on us. Highly recommend. The entire resort smells divine. The pools were huge, lots of seating and the water was heated to the perfect 80 degrees. The food and cocktails were amazing. We will be coming back!

The room was pretty great.Overall, the pullout sofa bed was very poorly made.Did not make a comfortable bed for our guest. The spa was the biggest disappointment. The resort is wonderful! The pools are amazing, I love having the bar and grill right in the pool area so you can grab a beverage or snack. Our room was great, the king size mattress was quite comfortable plus it was nice to have a ceiling fan to help circulate air. The staff we encountered were very nice and made it known that we could reach out to them for anything during our stay. This was the second time we have stayed at Margaritaville in Orlando and it certainly wont be the last.

It felt old. The floor mat in the bathroom was ragged. It looked like something that someone would give to their dog to play with.
One restaurant indoors, and it closes for an hour or two during the day.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The entire staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Although the exact room we originally booked wasn’t available, they went above and beyond by upgrading us to a much nicer room at no additional cost — a gesture that truly set the tone for our stay.

The valet team was outstanding as well: courteous, prompt, and extremely polite every time we interacted with them. My girlfriend and I are very particular when it comes to cleanliness, and we often run into issues at other hotels. This property absolutely exceeded our expectations. The room and common areas were spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail.

It’s rare to find a hotel that nails professionalism, hospitality, and cleanliness all at once, but this one did exactly that. We were genuinely impressed and felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We are already looking forward to returning and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-tier experience.

When I checked in I had requested and paid for a king bed pool view room. They sold out of those and put me in a queen room with a parking lot view. Only thing they offered was resort credit for the mix up. I paid a premium to get a pool view. Also I had to switch rooms the next night so I could get the pool view room so that was more time out of my day messing with that. Finally in the correct room and the toilet was clogged. Took maintenance over an hour to come fix the issue. Just wasn’t a pleasant relaxing stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and may come back when in Orlando.

Pools were enjoyable but could have been warmer for the weather, we came the last week of December 2025. I would recommmend warming them a bit more during the “winter” months. Throughout our stay the pools kept getting low on towels, thankfully we were able to get some though. Also, it would have been nice to know ahead of time the H20 park was not open for the season.

The room was very clean except the bath mat in the bathroom didn’t appear to have been vacuumed, as there was hair in it from previous person. Otherwise we had a great room with a pool view.

The food amenities and restaurants were a bit pricier than expected since you’re already paying so much just for the stay. Having an all inclusive option or just lowering food pricing would be great. On average we spent $100 per takeaway meal just for 2 people, unless we ate from the cafe.

Lastly, staff was pleasant and helpful EXCEPT we very disappointed and turned off from our interaction with the vacation sellers. They duped us into coming over to talk to them right after we checked in. They pretended like it was a mandatory part of check-in and we really didn’t appreciate that at all. We had not even settled in and already being hounded by a sales pitch. It felt really icky and made us feel awkward every time we had to walk by which was uncomfortable.
