Was good in executive room. But the hair dryer wasn’t prepared, and when I asked, they tried to say they have it n guide me to find it. Since I’ve been staying this hotel quite often (3 months once) I told them was not there, 2 times, then they said they will deliver but they didn’t so I called again. I think it’s ok to miss out sometimes but when called, should send right away, as customer already lost patient when the hair is wet and couldn’t find the dryer.
The good thing of staying often compare with many other hotels in town is bcoz this hotel has individual air-con, can switch off and can adjust. Sound proof, and room has window. The bed n mattress is good. Location is good. Often has some hotel which pic of room looks nice but the building itself looks very unsafe, don’t have sound proof at all and super cold n dry in the room due to centralized conditioning. Value to the money. Just this time wasn’t pleasant.

Loved that the hotel is very convenient as it was very close to the MRT. Even had convenience stores, massage places and souvenir shops around it.
Just a little downside is the hotel is not new.
But this wont hamper a decision to stay again in future visits. Am for convenience 😊

I liked the fact it was close to an MRT, was quiet even on a main road, had lots of space, working fridge and Japanese style toilet and USB outlets by the bed. It was clean and staff were helpful. It probably could do with a refresh but otherwise comfortable. I did wish it was closer to Ximen.

This is my second stay at the Santos Hotel. I previously stayed last November for 28 nights, and this time for three nights. The hotel has nice rooms, great staff, and excellent location to the MRT and buses, and is in a very walkable location. I will be staying for my third visit in September. I highly recommend this hotel.

Over all is very nice. I booked 2 weeks of staying. I’m happy the room was pretty good size water was stay strong and nice hot. Since we stayed for 2 weeks not just couple night if they would have provided a microwave in the room I would be very very happy. It’s kind of inconvenient without a microwave since I live in US and heavily used it. Otherwise I like the hotel and consider returning back here next year when I’m visiting Taiwan again.

There was a fire, with smoke, late at night. The whole building was evacuated, with guests standing outside waiting for hours, some in pajama. The hotel had to ask every guest to cancel their stay and leave. Since then, we've been waiting for our refund. I contacted Hotels.com as well, and they told me it would take 1 week to process and that was 2 months ago and no refund yet.
Hotels.com could care less that a room they sold caught on fire and they did nothing proactively to take care of the customers. i had to find another hotel that night myself, paid for it, and didn't ask hotels.com to reimburse me for incidentals. I just want my refund for the room in the hotel that caught on fire and we didn't stay in.

We stayed at the Santos Hotel for about 12days and it has been an overall decent experience! There is a lot to like and things to take note of:

Location - 8/10:
Very convenient! Minquan W Rd Station(metro) is a 6min walk from the hotel which can take you easily to key places for your visit. there are many bus options nearby as well as a few 7-11’s around. Taxis can be found outside the station too.

Staff/ Customer Service - 8/10:
Staff was helpful and responsive to issues. One of our lamps went out and they came to fix it quickly. Housekeeping also very helpful and quick in cleaning. They are willing to provide you with change of towels and trash bags if you do not end up room cleaning for the day.

Amenities - 7/10:
Not the worst; everything was functional but wallpaper and the bedding seemed outdated. The first day there was a musty smell but it went away after we ran the AC. AC is climate controlled and if it’s too hot you can open the window, otherwise when the AC is useable it’s very cold. Perfect for sleeping! The pillows on the bed are deceivingly thin. They are puffy at first but once you put your head on them they deflate and don’t provide enough support. Would recommend using the extra blankets in the closet to prop it up.

Overall Score - 8/10:
Overall, good experience. The location is great, staff was decent, and having a convenience store downstairs is always a plus. There were some minor issues with amenities but nothing that ruined the trip.

Tried to check in at 4pm but was told to was in the lobby for almost 20min because the customers checked out late. If you want customers to check in late, please do inform the customers as head of time; don’t let them tiredly wait in the lobby.

I also requested a technical service as our toilet was jammed,m. I waited for 2 hours, and no one showed up. What a great service.

- Location. I prefer local neighborhood than shopping area or tourist area, so this one is perfect! It's near metro station and many restaurant or food place there.
- Room. It's cleanliness and comfortably to stay.
- Safety. You need to tap your keycard when use the elavator.

- some functions in the room is not working. In my room, the auto washlet seems not working but it's okay for me, so I didn't notice the staff.

Stayed for 4 nights. Reasonably priced hotel with reasonably spacious room that comes with bathtub and toilet with biget. It is near the mrt. There is also a direct bus that we took from the airport that stopped just opposite the hotel which saved us quite a sum on the transport had we took taxi! Only downside was it did not have heater when we stayed during the cold weather period. Overall, a good hotel for its location and cleanliness. Nice hotel staff around. We would like to thank the service of the front desk staff, concerige and staff who had our room cleaned during our stay. We may return some day again as we had enjoyed our stay.

The bed mattress was lumpy. All three of us found all three beds were not comfortable. The picture showed you there are two pillows on the bed....we only had one pillow for each bed. Not impressed.
The fitness centre was sad. There were two sets of dumbells....the heavier set was 3kg...yes 3 kg. The machines were worst than home equipment. They were not wiped clean by their staff. Dried sweat beads were all over the machines....i guess one person did use them. It seems the hotel neglected the condition of the gym. The TV facing the wrong direction and it only displays a picture of a hallway of the hotel.
Back to the room, the bathtub is raised. I am 5-9 and i feel like i have to duck. My son is 6-3 and he hit the ceiling on his first shower. The bathtub is not built for tall people.
I did not find many interesting amenities around the hotel. There were a few tea leaf shops, a couple of 711, several pawn shops, one bakery and a couple of local japanese restaurants.
The one plus was the housekeeper kept our room very clean each day.
Conclusion, i think this hotel had seen better days. It is time for an upgrade before i would return.

staff lovely, and bedroom was great - big and comfy and clean and well appointed. But there was a problem with the hot water supply which was irritating - the staff were onto it immediately and it was fixed within 30 minutes-but really this should not be a problem in a hotel paying at this rate - I got impression it was not unusual and had happened before. Also issue with the plug and bath draining up through overflow and flooding the bathroom - am glad I was only there 2 nights TBH. Everything else was great, but the plumbing has to function - that's basic - so it was a little disappointing even though it got fixed quickly.

The hotel is surely dated but clean. You can see they work hard to keep it clean.
The staffs are polite and nice.
The first night after check in I found out the bed sheet was not flat. It looked like someone has set on it before I check in this room. After I called the front desk, someone came to take look. She changed the bed sheets and blanket, pillow cover. She also told me she would make a note for the day time cleaning crews. But until check out no one has said anything.
Overall it’s a nice hotel and convenient located close to MRT station.

駅から近く、コンビニもすぐそば、そしてタクシーのドライバーにも直ぐにわかるホテルなので大変便利です。
建物は古いですか掃除も行き届き、窓口には日本語ができる人もいます。
唯一残念なのは湯船の排水が悪く、栓を抜くと洗面所の床にまで流れない水が溢れてきます。
それで、足用のタオルはべちょべちょになり
事実上使えなくなるので、2日目は余計に置くように言うと3枚ハウスキーピングさんが置いてもらえました。
排水さえ良くなれば、とても快適なホテルです。
また次も利用したいです。

日本からの修学旅行の宿になっているようです。私の滞在中、2校利用していて、その間は学生が騒ぐので、廊下は大声で叫んで走っているし、隣の部屋で宿泊となると深夜まで騒がれて、こちらは当然眠ることができず、部屋を変えてもらいました。スタッフの対応は速やかでした。
2部屋利用したので分かったのですが、部屋によって違いがあって、例えば上の階は水圧が弱かったですが、下の階に行くと水圧は強く、入浴は心地よかったです。古いホテルなので修繕にも差があるので、部屋の割り当てで満足感は変わると思います。
私は朝食はホテルの利用ではないですが、近くに美味しいお店がいくつかあるし、立地もよく部屋も広いので総合的には大満足な滞在でした。

部屋は広く快適です。MRTの駅も近く、利便性に優れています。

しかし、施設が古いから仕方ないとは思いますが、隣の水の音が大音量で響きます。
私自身、飛行機が遅延してホテルチェックインが深夜２時半だったので、お風呂に入ったのがそれ以降になり、迷惑を掛けてしまったのではと案じています。

水回りの古さと、電源の少なさなどが気になりました。
