Our studio apartment was spotless and had everything in it that we needed, it even had a 210cm TV (SO BIG).
The couple who oversaw \"Sanctuary Resort\" were both delightful and nothing was too much trouble for them.

What a wonderful place! Front desk people were so kind and helpful! The place truly is a sanctuary in the middle of the rain forest and true to the pictures that are posted. Every studio or apartment is nested in luscious green surroundings and make you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forest! What a feeling. Pool is amazing and access to the esplanade for a walk on the beach and shops is just across the street. Very convenient! Amenities and space was well cared for and clean. Would return and rebook here. Enjoy your stay… they make you feel like a vacation!

Gerhart and staff were absolutely fantastic. Friendly and helpful. I accidently lefy my mobile phone in our studio apartment upon check out. Didn't realise it until 90 mins drive towards home. Just one phone call to the office and it was on it's way via Auspost. Thankyou to all involved. Palm Cove and North of ,is Paradise.The scenery is breathtaking and the Sanctuary Palm Cove accomodation was very pleasing. We'll be back.

If you are a family with young children this is a perfect place to stay, but if you are looking for peace and quiet you will need to stay elsewhere. While the resort staff are unable to discipline the children of guests, the fact that the children in the apartment above us screamed and cried from 6am until late at night every day made it very difficult for us to relax. We thought we had booked the one-bedroom retreat with spa, but when we arrived at the venue we were given a different apartment.

Amazing Family Vacation Spot!

Beautiful apartments tucked away just off the Esplanade, easy walk to shops and restaurants and easy 5min drive to Coles for supplies. Rooms were perfectly suited for 4 adults and 2 children family vacation. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Grounds were lovely and the pool was really great for the kids! Would definitely recommend!

We were there for 4 nights but apparently they provide free cleaning only after a week of stay. For beach days with sand in the bathrooms etc a more frequent cleaning would really help

We stayed in a suite. It was large, private, clean and had all the conveniences we needed. The TV was huge - great for watching a movie in down time. The hot water was a little unreliable at times, but given the hot days whilst there it didn’t really bother us. Although it did not bother us, some couples may not appreciate the ‘open’ bathroom and the lack of personal privacy. The pool is large and well maintained. And the tropical gardens are beautiful and lush. Palm Cove is so walkable and offers many lovely dining options. We would happily stay at this property again should the opportunity arise in the future.

The Best!

You know the type of place that you don't want to review because you are afraid that everyone will find out about your secret? Even so, I feel compelled to write this because they did such a great job.

The property itself is tastefully constructed; about 20 units in 3 buildings (plenty of parking), nestled in the forest next to a lagoon with waterlilies and a charming wooden bridge. (A 2-minute walk to the very fine esplanade, which is a great place to hang out and get dinner your first night). My unit was on the 2nd floor, and I felt that I was living in a tree house, because all I could see (the living area is entirely windowed) was lush forest - palms, eucalyptus and ferns. (And could hear the delightful calls and chirping of birds).

The property has a gorgeous, long, and rectangular pool (with attached spa and shallow wading areas) which I swam in every day.

The apartment itself was huge, fully equipped (I cooked almost every meal) and comfortable.

Finally, the property manager was gracious, kind, informative and generous with their time. They really improved my stay with great advice about the area.

10 out of 10 -- I didn't want to leave.

First impressions were excellent. By the end of our stay our opinion had not changed.
Large modern well equiped apartments and in a great location around three minutes walk from the beach.
The apartments are set in lovely surroundings. There is a large swimming pool for the use of guests. If I was to come back to this area I would happily return to this resort.

The resort was in a great location, just around the corner from the beach but lovely a quiet once in the resort. Restaurants all in walking distance. The apartment was huge and open and bright. The pool was fantastic as it was heated and was secluded with trees so on the windy days we could swim in great condiontions without having to put up with the strong winds. The whole place was clean and well maintained. And all staff were friendly.

A beautiful place to stay, a true sanctuary. The apartments are huge, modern, clean and well appointed. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the pool is great. We will definitely be staying there again
