Wonderful property and lovely staff. Nice and quiet with a beautiful beach view and natural surrounding areas great for nature walks. Pool area was great and had a bbq area so clean with plenty of tables/chairs. Room was lovely and clean.

Disappointed with the view an I booked an oceanview and couldn’t see it for trees. Just check with property to ensure you get what your booking. The rest was amazing.

Amaroo is just excellent. Clean, well maintained with beautiful ocean views. Centrally located- great facilities and helpful staff. We stayed there with our toddler and the only very tiny drawback was the very thin travel mattress for the cot- essentially bubba was sleeping on the floor with not much between which felt a bit unfair next to our large super comfy bed. Other than this tiny thing our stay was great. The pool is the perfect temp too! We would stay here again

I’m disappointed with how my recent booking issue was handled. The property I stayed at, booked through Expedia, had significant cleanliness and hygiene problems, including pests and suspected bed mites. Despite providing evidence, the property refused to take responsibility, and Expedia offered no meaningful resolution. I expected better support, especially as a loyal customer. Transparency and accountability are key to maintaining trust.

A comfortable hotel with great views in a good location. The pool looked newly refurbished and was pleasant. The room facilities were all adequate and Aircon worked well, which was a requirement given the climate! However, the room itself was relatively dated and not really true to the images, particularly the bathroom which means it's a good, not excellent stay.

We enjoyed being quieyly tucked away in the green but never to far from beach and cafes. Staff were welcoming and helpful with all matters relevant to our stay. Kim was always there with a smile. My wife and I had the tremendous pleasure of spending 10 days at Amaroo at Trinity Beach as we explored the area around Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. Right from our moment of arrival, Kym was warm and welcoming and provided us with a wealth of local information and escorted us to a beautiful deluxe balcony room. The room was very clean and incredibly comfortable, recently renovated, with a large balcony and great view of the coral sea. It was very well appointed and the resorts amenities were all in top shape, with a beautiful pool area, sparkling clean BBQs, a great tennis court, and plenty of safe covered parking.
Trinity beach is a very beautiful small townsite with excellent walk to restaurants, coffee shops and a tavern and the beach is a slice of paradise.
We felt our ten days went by far too quickly and we already miss this great resort and the friendly team that takes such good care of it and its guests. Thanks for such an amazing stay, we will be back!

My partner and I LOVED our stay at Amaroo at Trinity! We showed up after-hours and the check in was seamless and so easy. We appreciate that they were proactive about giving us the information because we did not communicate well ahead of time. The studio was perfect and we appreciate how big it was, and we appreciated the air conditioner and multiple fans. Our only wish would be that the kitchen would have a few simple staples for cooking like oil and salt & pepper. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely go back here!

Everything was fabulous - no complaints at all. The only hiccup was that we had no water on the morning that we left (5am) so we couldn’t shower but I feel this was a Cairns issue not an Amaroo one.

Thought l would have liked extractor fan for bathroom and cooktop, but in the end it was fine with no probs.
Guests need to wash up/dry provided dishes at end of stay, and take rubbish bag(s) down the driveway to the bin area.
Undercover parking is available.

Things that could be improved are - better drinking glasses, a broom to sweep the floor, internet (it was almost non-existent and kept failing), no cooking tongs, not enough toilet paper and soap provided.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway
This was a wonderful place to stay for a quiet getaway at Trinity Beach! It is truly right off of the beach, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. When I had an issue with my room and notified Kym and Jason, they took care of it right away. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and wouldn't even look at any other properties if I plan another trip to Trinity Beach!

The property is right on the water so it’s great if you want to swim away from the crowd as if it’s own private beach. The property is very nice and clean. The owners are friendly and engaging. This was the second time I stayed at Amaroo (first time being back in 2008) and it was even better the second time. Renovastions to the rooms have been done to keep it modern, and location is central to everything.
But the staff make this property even more enjoyable to stay. They are absolutely lovely and knowledgeable and even had my husband wanting to move to Cairns (which is unheard of for him).
