We loved the location of Coral Sands Resort. It was close to shopping, a wonderful park for kids and the beach. Our room was clean and close to their amazing pool and poolside grill and bar. Our kids also all the Resort activities; tie dye, crafts and sand art. It was beautiful, clean and safe everything for an amazing family vacation!

Great location to restaurants and the beach. You can easily walk or bike to Coligny beach. Nice beer garden across the street. Hotel pool was very nice and there were several daily activities, mainly for kids. The condo was just the right size for 3 of us. Bed was comfortable, room was dark and quiet. The place feels new and was very clean.

Coral Sands is beautiful outside and inside! The property has just the right amount of flowers, mulch and grass that combines for a garden like atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, excellently decorated and very comfortable. Pool area very clean with a family-friendly environment that we enjoyed even though it was only two of us. The staff were friendly and professional in their interactions with us. I can highly recommend Coral Sands to families, couples and individuals.

It wasn’t clear that there would be a vacation plan investment presentation when we made the reservation. Large unit very good. Would be nice if there was attention paid to a few things that would have made a difference, such as providing coffee packets for the coffeemaker and how about some directions for the TV do we could view what we had access to.

Perfect stay for a family with young ones. Spent half the day at the beach and the other half at the amazing pool. Recommend bringing your own floats for the pool. Very clean room that has everything you need. My only recommendation is that in the splash pad they wrap the connecting pipe with bolts at perfect kid head bumping height with something soft I was always worried about my kid slipping and hitting his head on those.

This property is very nice. It's perfect for family and kids. It has a relaxing vacation feel. It's close to restaurants and stores. It's about a 15 minute walk to the beach by a paved bike path.

The rooms were very clean. However, the last night there one of the bedrooms had termites swarm in that room and my son had 12 termites in his bed and had about 20 or more in the room and bathroom. The staff checked it out to make sure it was termites and not something worse. They offered to come and vacuum the carpet if needed.

Poor customer service from online to front desk. During booking at the bottom was a box to ask about needs from the facility and I requested a room to be able to use a walker or w/c. I was directed to contact the facility after multiple email attempts with Expedia I was given a customer service number for the resort. It was a Go Ask Your Mom Go Ask your Dad issue. Expedia on line is not set up to answer questions about entry set up for customers. The facility deferred room questions to Expedia because we booked with them however the facility assigns your room. At check in we were assigned a room farthest from the ramp. We had 2 booking so you would think this is a simple switch nope. Without one key stroke the front staff not even taking look to see what was possible. So we switched rooms with family to make it easy for my sister in law to enter using the ramp.during our stay the first room checked out after 5 nights we moved all our stuff to the 2 room to finish our 8 night stay. No offer to have the room cleaned prior to moving. The common theme of customer service was kick the can. So best I can say is a general booking should be fine however if you have a need for true customer service support you may need to do some homework. With good customer service this would have been an extra 5 minutes at check in instead of us moving from one room to the second booking and cleaning the room my brother and his wife left. I would title your customer services Making the best of it.

We stay at Coral Sands in Hilton Head for 2 days. It's like a 1-bedroom condo with full kitchen and balcony. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and close to the beach. The price is about the same as hotel. Good price, good location, good place to stay. They even gave us free stays next year after attending a short presentation. We will definitely go back next year.

We had a second floor condominium and the floors above must have been made of paper as we could hear everything the people were doing, including talking. They made noise until 11:00 at night which, was very disturbing!
On our visit in October, we had a first floor condo in the back section of the property and we heard nothing.
This last unit was nice inside and well equipped.

The property was nice. It's an older place but doesn't feel like it as they have newer furnishings and it was clean. The only real complaint we had was the televisions. We don't typically watch much TV on vacation but we had a lot of rain during our stay and the TV's are all ancient. Not smart TV's and are all way too small for the rooms they are in. We ended up watching things on iPad's.

Location & Property: The property was perfect location and walking distance to Coligny plaza and the beach. The apartment was located in a new building so everything was very clean and comfy.

Other notes: It was a little awkward at check-in when they tried to get us to sign us for a vacation package presentation, which we were not interested in. Unfortunately the lazy river pool was closed for maintenance during our stay so we couldn't enjoy it and still had to pay the resort fee.

There was a few hiccups at check in. The front desk staff informed us that our unit was not ready yet as it was still being cleaned. We were advised that we would be texted with the code when our unit was ready. They offered late check out for our troubles, which they later forgot about on the checkout day. After waiting for 30 min we called the front desk. We were told that they had sent out the texts to everybody waiting on a room but we didn’t receive the text. They apologized and gave us the room code. To our surprise when we entered the room, there were still 2 staff members in the room cleaning. We asked if they needed more time, and they said they were done. Once we got settled in, I noticed that the floor had not been swept or mopped at all! There were crumbs of food, candy and stains all over the floor. The sofa and it was disgustingly dirty. It was a light colored sofa so you can see the filth on the cushions/ armrests. I called to have the cleaning staff sweep and mop and bring extra sheets to put on the sofa in case we wanted to sit. This was handled promptly. The unit itself was a god size for 2 people and it had a balcony. The appliances were all new and the kitchen had all the necessities. There were events everyday. We went to one at the pool where they have drinks and food and had giveaways. Overall this is in a great location 10 min walk to Coligny beach and close to shopping and restaurants. I was not happy at all with the cleanliness.

Great stay at Coral Sands Resort. The location is perfect…everything is within biking distance, including the beach, restaurants, and plenty to do.

We rented bikes from Wheelz and they delivered directly to the condo… super easy and no hassle. Watusi Cafe was a great nearby breakfast spot, and Coligny Beach near the Tiki Hut was our go-to for drinks and live daytime entertainment.

The condo was very clean and everything worked as expected.

Only minor note: water pressure could be stronger and hot water runs out a bit quickly (I may just be spoiled at home on the hot water). They did offer a timeshare presentation at check-in, but we declined and it wasn’t pushed.

Overall, awesome stay—we’re definitely looking to go back.

Ridiculous that for a seven night stay they don’t provide a freshen up of the room, no fresh towels, additional toiletries, laundry soap, etc.
The unit was clean and well laid out.
The concierge misled us about a presentation that she insisted wasn’t a time share but was for a “travel club” that was similar to a timeshare.

My wife and I spent 2 nights here on the way back from a business conference. We arrived just before the stated times for the clubhouse to close, but they were already closed. They had made provisions for after hours check-in and it worked wonderfully. They asked that we stop by the registration desk some time the next day. The process was quick and easy. The condo was clean, spacious, and the area was quiet. We enjoyed mornings in the hot tub at the pool area and walking around the many bike paths in the area. It was a nice place the cost and we would happily use them again.

Overall experience was great. One complaint early am noise outside door of first floor room. Noise included people talking , truck backing up with beeping noise at 5:00 am. Inability to find the sheets for the pull out sofa. Inconvenient packing certain toiletries not provided because of allergies. Location is great to several attractions and shuttle for the golf tournament. They do daily activities which was a nice touch. Would stay there again but not take a first floor room.

We loved everything about this property! We traveled with a 2-year-old, and it was incredibly convenient for our family. I have never stayed at such a clean resort—it was truly impressive. Everything is very well maintained, and the pool area is beautiful and spotless.

There are daily activities around the pool, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is also perfect—just a 10-minute walk to the beach and a plaza with great restaurants.

The property was very clean. The staff was really nice. They were actually able to get us checked in 3 hours early. The location is perfect walking distance to shopping, dining, nightlife and the beach. If you get tired of walking, there’s a free shuttle you can call to come right to your room to pick you up. They had activities every day. A pool party, henna tattoos, hair braiding, a magician… it was a great time!

The property is older and in need of a refresh. The pool and lazy river were cold. The game room has very limited hours (until 7pm weeknights-- we have teenagers who wanted to play ping pong!). Overall, it did not feel like a good value for the amount we paid. Caveat emptor.

Everything in the facility was very clean and well maintained. No slow drains or broken fixtures.

The pools were amazing but not heated. The water was still pretty cold at the end of March.

The beach is a short walk down Pope Street. It is very nice. Wash off stations and changing rooms are provided. There is a small splash pad for the kids. There was a lifeguard present for bankers hours. The beach was clean and the clientele was well behaved and friendly. It was excellent for families.

We have two younger kids and we put them on the sleeper sofa. That worked well. There was a broom and vacuum cleaner provided and those were a great help to clean up after the kids. One caveat is that the kitchen table is in a carpeted area. Without a vacuum cleaner that would have been a disaster but the vacuum was provided and we were just fine!

The dishwasher is noisy and interferes with sleeping on the sleeper sofa. I recommend running it during the day instead of at night and then there is no problem.

After hours check in worked just fine. This is a timeshare style place so you have to talk to the timeshare salesperson in the morning for 5 minutes to get your access code renewed. They text you once a day asking you to attend the sales pitch. I've been to places where the salespeople call you 5-10 times a day and it gets really annoying. I appreciated that they limit it to one text a day here.

Overall my wife thought the place was amazing and rated it very highly. We would return.

Everything is great at coral sands. Well accommodated, modern and clean. This is our second stay and we love it! Close to food, beach, entertainment, shopping and tons of activities. The pool is great and there’s nothing better than spending the day there. Beds are comfy and it’s a good nights rest. Just a heads up: the tvs are not able to have you sign into your streaming services. You have to watch what they have. We will stay at coral sands on our next trip to Hilton Head for sure!

Parking was great. Complex great and check in wonderful. Close to fez h and restaurants. Unfortunately the person next to us played jazz music so loud all afternoon and evening and spoke on his phone so loudly for about two hours and you could clearly hear his conversation. We put our tv on louder to drown him out.

Although pool had a sign up no smoking three people were smoking at the pool area.

Overall a very nice place for the price. New and clean inside and very convenient to all local attractions.

Floors were VERY sandy, but luckily it’s a fully stocked condo with all cleaning products and necessities. Other issue is if you have an upstairs neighbor, it’s very loud if they are walking at night and the AC is quite loud. Otherwise it’s quite comfortable.

This was our first stay at Coral Sands. The check-in process was easy. We were in building J great location. The unit itself was huge and very clean. The furnishing’s were in great shape. It had a good size balcony, which we loved. The only con was the size of the walk-in shower. It was on the smaller side. The location of the property was within walking distance to all of the shops and Coligny beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Every door had broken hinges in the room and were very difficult to shut. The pull out bed was broken and would plummet several inches in height randomly when people sat or laid. Most upsetting was the pool. We specifically chose this place and I called in advance to confirm it was heated, they said it was, sent emails saying it was, but it was freezing water. Waste of my time and money.
