Perfect Hotel.

Hotel Mercure was an unbelievable hotel.
The Room, Golf & Spa, Restaurant & Bar were luxurious. The staff very professional and so polite.
The area is so peaceful and there's many places to visit nearby. I would love to stay here again.

Great place for a family stay. Highlight is the indoor pool, which is open to kids all day. Easy parking, and reasonably close to main roads. Quiet location but busy during day due to golfers. Fair breakfast based around breads, croissants and cold meats. Only negative was insects that got into the room and bit our kids during the night. Next day kids were covered in bite marks and spots. Could be mosquitos or something similar, so advice is to keep windows closed and check room at night - we dealt with 5 of these mosquito type bugs.

Good choice for staying in Luxembourg

Great place to stay with a family. The price was cheaper than many similar properties, though located a way from any other places to eat. A car is essential. Family room set over 2 floors, the lower being made up from a sofa bed with adults on the second floor. Beds comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Restaurant prices were competitive and the breakfasts of a good standard with a good and varied choice. A few miles from Luxembourg centre and Remich (for tours down thw Moselle).

Amazing staff, especially the lady that was in charge of breakfast. She was amazingly helpful and was truly welcoming.

Second Mercur property we stayed in .. this is far much better. The breakfast was so worth it, if you’re trying to decide whether or not to get the breakfast - well worth it!

Spa/Sauna closes a little earlier than I’d recommend but other than these - I definitely highly recommend!

Mostly a good functional hotel for a stop-over

The hotel is practical and functional with a highly modern interior design that was very clean and appeared fairly new. Rooms were relatively spacious, although not really large enough for a family of four as we had booked. Kids were allotted a windowless space with a bunk bed, while the studio area had a double bed, desk and kitchenette. Separate 'electronic' toilet, plus a large wet room (very nice). Overall a nice studio for a couple but a bit small for a family. Large parking area so no trouble finding somewhere to park. The location is out of town and close to the airport so not much to see. A car is essential. Although, there's not that much in the nearby town to warrant a trip.

The hotel room was really lovely and very comfortable. Our only disappointment was that we booked the hotel because it had a pool and it was closed at the time. It would have been helpful if we had been notified of this before our stay as our children were very disappointed and we could have spent longer in the city instead. Instrictions on how to use coffee machine would have been good too.

The Spa pool, sauna and jacuzzi are of a good standard as are the rooms however out of three years we have eaten there only once was the evening meal good quality. My advice is stay there, breakfast is good but eat somewhere else in the evening.

We had booked this as part of our journey home. What a super surprise it was! Our room was gorgeous- a split level room with loads of space for a family of four. The grounds are beautiful and the food was lovely. I would totally recommend this hotel.

Right on the golf course...

Spent a night there. Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room in this \"middle of nowhere\" location. It was clean and quite very well laid out. Most comfortable. But then, it is a golf course, so I expected as much. About 20 minutes away from LUX airport. Very quaint! You are also about 30 minutes away from the German border and 45 minutes away from Trier, a great city of Roman milestones, where I used to work/live whilst in the military. Obviously, if you like playing golf, this will strike your fancy. Not my case, but it was nice to have the opportunity to keep windows wide open and enjoy some fresh air, especially in the evening. I would recommend this hotel.

Very luxury hotel at an incredible price

This hotel is located about 20 minutes (driving - only way to get there).
It's part of a golf club with all the high end features that this implies.
Staff is very pleasing and knowledgeable.
I enjoyed my room and its amenities.
Breakfast was very good (18 euros - not included in my rate).
Restaurant and bar are spacious and very accommodating.
You must use your GPS to find this hotel. Try to arrive with daylight.

if you are driving, I would like to recommend it is the hotel to visiting Luxembourger or overnight stay. we stayed there for 2 days, and spending half day in swimming pool and half day in Luxembourger then continue our journey to Paris.

the surrounding are beautiful, we took lots picture and posted on facebook, all our friend asked: where this beautiful place is.

the room is clean, large, comfortable. and the air-conditioning make our night pleasant.
only thing that is not good is there is no coffee/tea maker in the room.

This is a relaxing hotel that gives you the chance to totally relax if you have had a busy business day and want some space. Excellent facilities, such as the gym and sauna, and a bar and terrace, over looking the 18th hole of the golf course, to wind down in with a menu that suits all tastes.

Good hotel if you have a car

Good hotel, friendly personal. Staying there you need definitely a car to be happy. A taxi from the airport costs some 70 Euro one way, a way to Luxembourg-City costs by taxi some 60 Euro one way. The bus stop is in a distance of 2 km from the hotel, the bus goes all hours.

Hotel is too remote

I hadn't realised how remote the location of this hotel was. If you have a car, it's fine, but if you need public transport it's impossible and the taxi costs are extortionate (3 Euro's per km). What's more, the hotel (I was informed) has a contract with a taxi firm (not a local one) in Luxembourg which charges about 30 Euro's just to travel to the hotel. I had a 10 km journey to make and the Hotel taxi company gave me a quote of £62 Euros. When I asked the hotel if they would call a local company for which I had the phone number, they were very reluctant to do so.

We drove from Bruges and had an overnight stay en route to Frankfurt. Can't comment on restaurant or facilities as we had no time to use them. The hotel was in a rural area far from town and not easy to find if you do not have a navigator (GPS). Very neat, clean and quiet. Had a good night's sleep. Luxembourg was about 20 min drive - seems a lot for an outsider who doesn't know his way. There were plenty of golfers so it appears to be a popular spot for golfers. Will I stay again? Maybe - depends on the purpose. If I am a tourist with no car, definitely no. If I am passing by car and need rest, definitely yes.

Nice hotel about 20 min from the city. Room and food good. Only problems came from the bar. One member of staff appeared to either only want it serve the golfers or was against serving a woman. We had to eat in the bar as the restaurant started serving too late for our daughters dinner and subsequent bedtime but the comfy leather armchairs and sofas were not conducive to eating a meal and the high chairs were higher than the chairs/tables!

Beautiful surroundings. Not accessible without car

The hotel itself is very decent, with a very friendly bar (and an open fire!), pool facilities, etc. There is however no shuttle to/from the airport, and the taxi fare is of about 52 euro each way (for a ten to fifteen minute journey). Staff are friendly enough, specially the cleaning people and the bar tenders, who seem to be genuinely enjoying their jobs.

15 mins from Lux airport

Only 15 mins from Luxembourg airport but not easy to find without a GPS. Spacious rooms, bucolic setting with good leisure facilities like pool, gym and golf, which are never as easy to find in Europe as the US for a reasonable room rate. Closest I have found to US style hotel on this side of the water, even had to go cups for the morning coffee! Only negative was 18 EUR for breakfast and an attempt to charge me 8 Eur for the gym...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are many plus points to mention - a beautiful, peaceful setting; a large and very comfortable room; excellent breakfast; free wi-fi in communal areas; very clean swimming pool/fitness area. There are, however, a couple of minor disadvantages. Firstly, you definitely need your own transport, as the hotel is off the beaten track. And don't stay here if you want to be able to enjoy your favourite television programmes, as only BBC World is broadcast in English.

We stopped over here during a drive from Austria back to the UK. Its was a haven away from the traffic jams. Very quiet. We arrived very late but this was no problem for them. Shame it was underused as it was a really nice hotel (but it is a golf resort and it was the middle of winter with snow on the ground!)

Location was nice. Price great.

Billing was a problem but it was cleared. Dining was limited to the restaurant because of the distance to the city. Also, understanding French in the restaurant would have been more helpful. We arrived late in the evening and left next morning. Had we had time to really check out Luxembourg City and spend time at the hotel, I feel I would probably have a better opinion.

Lovely hotel and grounds, clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly. However, we found waiting staff to be unhelpful and unfriendly and we were ignored a couple of times as they giggled and messed around behind the bar. We were often overlooked in favour of the golfers and left to fend for ourselves. A shame really because the hotel and pool and stay was very good - we were just made to feel uncomfortable by some staff unfortunately. Also on check out, we were invoiced for over 200 euros for breakfasts already paid for! Matter was soon resolved but embarassing non the less!

Affordable quality

This hotel is of a high quality and particularly good for those who like to get out of town, and/or like golf as it has its own 9 hole course. The rooms are high quality and well equipped, although the only english speaking TV is the boring and repeatative BBC World channel. Only down side was on one night when the hotel allowed a wedding reception to go on with loud music till gone 3.00am in the morning! Good food in either restaurant or bar, where they serve a great Wiess Beer! Nice leisure suite also.

Set the bar SO high for all other hotels

We are on a tour of Europe and this was our first stop. My family and I have been to countless hotels in the past and this is hands down one of our best experiences. The hotel was gorgeous, amazing view, beautiful view, wonderful service etc. I would not only recommend this hotel, but definitely want to go back there again!

Le spa était très bien piscine un peu petite , il y a un hammam un sauna un solarium une pièce avec des sièges à infrarouge pour soulager les douleurs . Je n’ai pas testé les massages proposés. Il y a un restaurant et un bar avec terrasses qui donnent sur un terrain de golf. Il y a également à disposition une table de ping pong et un billard. Un distributeur de cigarettes mais malheureusement pas de distributeurs de boissons ou friandises, donc pensez à acheter de l eau avant que le bar ferme car il n’y a qu’une seule bouteille d’eau offerte dans la chambre que vous soyez 2 ou plus . Dans la chambre une cafetière est à disposition , je n’ai pas pris de petit déjeuner car par rapport au prix je trouve qu’il manquait certaines choses au buffet en revanche j ai pris un café ( infecte) et un mini croissant qui m’ont couté environ 8 euros!!!! Donc il vaut mieux prendre celui de votre chambre qui est bien meilleur…. J ai dîner au restaurant c était bon mais malheureusement trop salé donc si vous n’aimez pas le sel prévenez quand vous commander. Le personnel est au top surtout à la réception je leur dis un grang merci pour leur accueil. Il y’a un grand parking gratuit et sous surveillance vidéo

Geweldig geweldig geweldig! Wat een lokatie, wat een grote kamer. Mega bed waarin je heerlijk weg zakt. Ik wilde echt niet uitchecken. Sauna bezoek is inbegrepen voor aantal uurtjes (meer dan zat na een drukke dag). Uitkijken op het golfterrein. Ontbijt was fantastisch, wel een opmerking tegen personeel en receptie gemaakt dat sommige dingen best wel snel al op waren en keuken dit niet kon bijbenen om
bij te vullen. Met zo weinig tafels hoop ik echt dat het in de drukkere seizoen beter geregeld is.

Ik was er op doorreis buiten het golfseizoen. Prima locatie en alles ziet er netjes en verzorgd uit. Ruime kamer met alle comfort aanwezig. Ontbijt en diner was prima; personeel uiterst vriendelijk. De massage / spa was top!
Kom er graag nog een keer terug.

En aften på golf resortet

Det var et meget fint sted, dog kan sofaen som børnene sov på udskiftes, da den ikke var behageligst at sove på. Den har set bedre dage.
Hvis man ankommer i el-bil skal man enten komme med bilen opladet eller have deres lokale app for at betale for ladning. Derfor mener jeg de ikke skal skrive man kan lade bilen på stedet for det kunne vi ikke da vi ikke havde brikken og appen aktiveres ved køb af brikken. Personalet kunne ikke hjælpe. Lidt en dæmper på opholdet.

Noch einmal würde ich hier bestimmt nicht hingehen! Im Zimmer funktionieren die Wasserhähne nicht, in der Anmeldung musste man darum betteln, dass sie überhaupt die Buchung gefunden haben, nur die Preise waren relativ hoch für eine eher mäßige Leistung! Also keinen Grund zur Weiter Empfehlung!

Bella struttura, nel verde della campagna. Due consigli dal mio punto di vista, al bagno aeratore e doccia anziché vasca da bagno. Per il resto tutto ottimo. Compreso il personale gentile e disponibile. Grazie.

Das Hotel geniesst eine tolle Lage in der Natur, daher sehr ruhig. Toller Entspannungsfaktor!
Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.
Ich war rundum zufrieden.
