Beautiful location with views of the canal and harbor. Apartment was clean and well accessorized. There was only one face towel for two people and we couldn’t get another. The kitchen is fully equipped but they don’t supply napkins or paper towels. The info manual in the apartment was from 2018 and not up to date. I had to call to get the WiFi code.

Apt pretty basic terrible balcony tucked in dark corner with cheap plastic chairs and table. Location not good we were right at the end of the waterfront furthest from restaurants and shops. Swimming pools are tiny with 3/4 random wooden loungers. Will be more careful next time I book this area.

The property had stunning views from the back deck. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious and had all the facilities we required except the coffee machine did not have any pods provided which was a bit disappointing.
We couldn't open the directions link to the property and therefore found the property exceptionally difficult to find. We recommend you putting the directions in text inside the original email rather than a link.
We also found the check-in process exceptionally lengthy and disjointed. We understand the need for the security but believe if the staff were better trained, it would have taken 10 minutes instead of 45. After a long trip from Australia and difficulty find the property, a lengthy check in process was frustrating and unnecessary.
Everything else was lovely, particularly the cleanliness of the property and surrounds including the beautiful canal.

The experience was quite disappointing. We had to switch apartments because the safe was inoperable, the sliding door wouldn’t lock, and the hair dryer was faulty.

We moved to a better apartment that we liked; however, we were disappointed that the bed sheets were not changed at all during our entire 5-night stay.

Most amazing location with views of the canal, table Mountain or the V&A waterfront. This is the best location in Cape Town. You are seconds away from shops, restaurants and the Mail tourist attractions are all accessible from this location.

Central location to waterfront, excellent security, nice views. Apartment needs some improvements- leaky shower flooded bathroom each time so had to mop up the floor constantly, cigarette burns in the curtains, awkward blinds. Would stay again but not in that particular apartment.

My husband and I traveled with friends. We liked the spacious accommodations. The one bedroom unit was cleaned daily and had all of the conveniences of home. The location, options for food, shopping, mall entertainment, and accessibility to transportation was wonderful. The marina area was a great place to stay.

We would definately stay here again. The apartment was well furnished and was daily serviced. It was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. About a 10 minute walk to the centre of the V and A where a vast amount of restaurants and shops can be found.
Check in was good, friendly staff who explained everything to us about the apartment and places to go. Limited check in time a little difficult as our flight didn't arrive until 9.30.pm so had to stay at another hotel for a night.
Bathroom needed a bit of attention. Tiles on the bathside and bath pitted!

The property is a self catering property in the popular V&A district in a beautiful estate. It’s a pity the unit I stayed in had a lot of delayed maintenance, no comfortable seating. Appliances (TVs & refrigerator) need attention, bathroom extractor fan not working. The pictures on the platform are not a good reflection of the unit assigned. I would suggest that exact pictures of the unit booked be shown on the platform to about bait and switching to clients. I booked a room with a comfortable sectional in the couch and got an apartment with an old uncomfortable couch. I requested a room change , but was not reallocated to a better unit.

The property itself is beautiful, especially along the canal. However, we found the location and reception very hard to find, as did several Ubers that we tried to call. This made things challenging as we did not want to walk alone at night and needed pickup. Also, there were some cleanliness complaints with our unit, although management was responsive.

They really need to sort out their check in process- very ambiguous building not clear to find . However, once we explained we had limited time as returning our car they did help us.

Apartment was spacious, great to have a washing machine and driver .

Felt very safe here . It is the only place I felt comfortable running on my own during our stay in South Africa. The resort is in a gated apartment complex and it is easy to run 1 mile loop around the edges.

Easy access to v & a waterfront which was very safe . I would recommend staying here as base .

Great choice of pools - compared to any where we stayed in western cape .

They keep the gardens and pools exceptionally clean and maintained.

The apartment is fully serviced and we had somebody that came in each day and did the washing up and made the bed which was surprising as normally in an apartment you have entry and exit clean was a nice touch

Beautiful location, very well maintained grounds and apartment itself was in great condition with everything needed. The only gripe was that Hotels.com directions take you to the MindPearl building which used to house the admin, on the other side of the complex.

Having asked a security guard where we were supposed to go, we drove round and got into the complex but were then left with a bit of a struggle to find reception. Once there everything was good!

The short walk into the V&A along the water was lovely and there are great views wherever you look.

Spotless apartment overlooking the marina. Short walk to V&A shops and the countless outstanding restaurants. Excellent location. Check-in after 3pm might be a bit challenging so get written directions in advance so your taxi can go to the right location for you to check-in 24/7. Very friendly everywhere.

The apartments in the Waterfront Village are exceptional and the perfect place to stay in Cape Town. Safe, comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious apartment in a gated community; parking spaces available; exceptionally helpful staff; five minutes safe walk to the waterfront with a myriad of restaurants and shops; host of different tour boats available within walking distance ... all against the backdrop of Table Mountain.

We booked a standard 2 bed apartment as that was all that was available. There was air conditioning in both bedrooms and lounge, function kitchen, washing machine and tumble drier. The second bedroom was small, just one bedside table, en-suite had no shower, bed small. It was ok, but missed things to make it comfortable, cushions, rugs etc. the cleaners were very good and all the staff friendly, felt very safe. Would stay in area again but book lawhill apartments, they looked much nicer.

Just disappointed of the power outages as frequently happens not on regular hours! It was so challenging getting ready for work in the morning in darkness and coming home at night to cook for dinner…no power! I wished the admin told me about the times! The bathroom although clean, was mouldy on the walls and ceiling and around the tub. The cleaners and guards were outstanding though.

Perfect CT location especially for longer stays

We really enjoyed this flat. We were in Cape Town for a week so to have a kitchen and washer and dryer was wonderful. The location was fantastic. We had great views of the canal and a private patio to sit on. I would stay here again. The only complaint we had was it was hot and there was no air. We asked for a fan but one was never brought.

Beautiful view,good location. Security is good but what is annoying is that you check in at the desk and have your photo taken at security a mile away... this makes the check in process lengthy and painful. The phone to contact the help desk just rings. Had to call the 24 hour helpdesk with my cell phone, to report a the Airconditioner not working, but no one got back to me... service no good ! Disappointing for property in that class!

Excellent location.Apartment spotlessly clean but I did feel like I was staying in someone’s apartment rather than a holiday apartment.Furnishings were a bit tired and the couch sloped so much you really couldn’t use it.Balcony was fabulous with comfortable couches on it.Beds were very good.Bathrooms need updated but kitchen was of a good standard.Village and life office staff a mixed bag.Some very helpful, others found it difficult to even lift their heads when talking to you.All in all I would stay again due to the very secure and brilliant location.

Wonderful Apt in the V&A. It is very secure and with a great gym. We could walk around the V&A 24hrs per day. It was close to the restaurants but without the crowds. I would stay there again, heck i would buy that apt (if i could afford it at 1.5MM USD).

The rules of the complex (29) including fines for each are insulting for an upmarket clientele. The parking has no rhyme nor reason in it's layout. You need to search for your assigned stall.

Great location within secure gated development. Modern and good condition. Well kitted our with everything you need. Sunny aspect.
We enjoyed our stay. WiFi is extra cost and it’s slow and intermittent. TV channels are through satellite which is also slow and difficult to use. We couldn’t get the TV or air con in bedroom to work.
It’s a quiet location. Some noisey people pass from time to time but nothing that disturbs too much. Watch out for the mozzies!

Conveniently located in the Waterfront. It was a nice walk to the stores and attractions in the harbour. We could walk to the Silo museum , Aquarium and the Watwerfront shops and Mall. (For groceries there is a Pick and Pay as well as Woolworths food in the mall - just have to carry things back)
Easy to access transport (Uber) from the front gate and we felt safe in the gated community. The units are large and well appointed, we expected 1 bathroom, but had 2.5 which was a bonus.
The only problem was that we asked for 2 beds in the second room on the comments section when we booked, and this was missed. There was no way that we could get a second bed on check-in. This was disappointing and frustrating.
Overall - we loved the unit, views from the lovely balcony were great. especially at night.

We were upgraded from a 2-bed to a 3-bed apartment which offered views of Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. The apartment was well specified, benefiting from a balcony with small pool, En-suite bath & shower facilities, 60\" TV in lounge and 40\" in bedrooms with the kitchen equipped with Bosch appliances

Our apartment (Juliette 603) came with two underground parking spaces and security arrangements that Fort Knox would be proud of.

Would stay here again without question.

Fantastic apartment, close to the V&A Waterfront

This was our fifth visit to Capetown but the first time we had chosen to stay in an apartment. We couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. The apartment was spacious and equipped with everything that we needed. It was cleaned daily to a high standard and a small problem with the air conditioning was dealt with immediately. We would definitely consider staying at the apartment if we were to return to Capetown.

Good location walking distance from the Waterfront

The two-bedroom accommodation with open-plan kitchen lounge and two bathrooms situated in the exclussive Waterfront development met all expectations with sufficient space allowing for a comfortable stay during our visit to Cape Town. The staff at reception (which is situated around the corner from the main accommodation complex) were friendly and helpful. Make sure to enquire about the Wi-fi password if you require connectivity during your stay. Access to the property is controlled through the main entrance and is very safe. This self catering apartment was spotlessly clean and contained all neccessary amenities like a dishwasher, washer, dryer, cutlery, clean bed-linen, tv with complete DSTV (if you get to watch tv during your stay), a spacious balcony overlooking the water channel and underroof parking. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. We can highly recommend a stay over here If you wish to visit this part of Cape Town, which promises to be a memorable and pleasant experience.

I booked a standard 3 bedroom apartment. They gave me luxury 2 bedroom which I did not want. They told me that I do not have any other options than staying here. I wanted to get a refund for one room. I was told that the room that I am given costs more than the one that I booked. All I wanted was a 3 bedroom apartment because we did not share the rooms.

Extremely disappointing

Clearly these apartments are not used to people staying more than a few days. We stayed for 3 weeks, which meant we paid a substantial amount for our accommodation but just had continual problems. I have never been so glad to leave somewhere. On checking in, the heating pad and TV in main room were not working. On 3rd day fridge door fell off. Every night for 3 weeks, our DSTV signal was lost so we could not watch TV in the evening. We had to purchase internet, but we were clearly not getting what we bought, with them claiming we used 1GB in 3 hours. Basically, we lost both TV and Internet connection during peak times so the apartments clearly do not have adequate provision of these for peak periods, which for what we paid is unsatisfactory. But the most frustrating part was how the apartment staff and management reacted to our complaints. They basically had stock standard answers, learnt by rote, which were just excuses. No one took ownership of the problems and responsibility to get the problems fixed. There was never a manager available after hours and no one ever responded to our requests to see them. We were basically dismissed as being unreasonable for expecting, after paying the equivalent of what a new car would have cost us, to fly to South Africa and stay here for 3 weeks, that we might expect to actually sit down in the evening and watch an entire TV show.

maybe the only problem was no room service and the south african 3 plug (hard to find adapter)

NOT a luxury apartment

Stayed in apartment Altmore 101 which I would not reccomend or market as a luxury apartment. A very basic apartment: the furniture and overall appearance definitely need refreshing. We were expecting canal views; this was only partial as 3 out of 4 external views were on the busy road instead (again poorly marketed and very misleading). The reception is located away from the apartment and therefore can be reached only by phone, unless you want to spend time chasing them. They were unresponsive and not very helpful at all. Upon arrival we asked for the option (even paying if necessary) to be given another apartment and we also asked for towels when they had forgotten to leave us enough ( one was also dirty and stained) but we never got an answer to our requests. Toiletries are not provided daily (only on first day) and cleanliness is not very good, the floors are not cleaned properly and the cupboard shelves were dirty. Overall the apartment was very basic, I am sure there are better apartments in the complex but we were probably given the lower end one ( which I would suggest should not be marketed as the others) I guess its a matter of expectations, value for money and dissapointment in having been mislead. There are different apartment complexes and Altmore 101 is definitely at the lower end. Definitely NOT a luxury apartment. Only positive is the walking distance to the waterfront. There are much better hotel options around (with reliable services and cleanliness). Thank

Ideal hotel/apartment complex for Waterfront

These apartments are situated just a few minutes walk from the V&A Waterfront at Cape Town so ideal for anyone visiting the area, especially if it's a first time and you don't know your way around. They are very clean and well equipped and the complex is very secure.

Amazing appts in great location. Check in dire!

We were a family of 9 aged 11 to 74 on a Xmas trip of a lifetime. Had 2 apartments 2 and 3 bed. Only negative was admin at check in. Despite having checked how I could expedite check in and sending all passport in advance it still took an hour to check in. This is totally unacceptable !
