The property was missold to me. It advertised a pool, gym and spa. The pool had not functioned as such for a long time, the gym had running machines were broken, no attendant and the spa didn’t have a hairdresser as advertised. I was charged extra to access my room which was not fit for purpose. The door was damaged, the shower was damaged and resembled a flume. The activities didn’t mention added cost to self attend either to or from. There was building works going on and it was not the good quality hotel marketed. A total waste of money. Too far from the centre.

I had a bad experience honestly, the room was not very clean (the carpet was literally wet when i took the room and it was wet almost for 30 hours of my stay) , the hotel is old and need renovation, it is actually going through renovation and that really killed the experience, no pool, no sauna or steam, you hear the maintenance noise while in the room, the lobby itself is under maintenance 😅 you sit in the kobby and you find people changing the roof and wall paint you, the cafe r3sto in the kobby is not functioning also under renovation. Honestly the price was lower than average, but if they told me its going renovation and there is nonaccess to pool, i defenitly wouldn't choose to take it, ive been mislead, i believe they are obliged to explicitly say that they are going to do maintenance and its defenitly not accepted that i was not informed when i reserved a d paid online.

I have booked the king size bed but after going there they told me that we have twin bed. So I refused but the receptionist was through professional and after waiting of around 30 minutes they have given me the king size bed as I booked it in advance.
The walls of the rooms are dusty and the basin was getting blocked frequently.

Hotel needs to clean it properly.
Other things were satisfactory. But I haven’t tried there food since I was staying outside most of the time.

very bad experience, nonprofessional front office, sending the security to my room to check who was with me in the room was the most rude threatening experience I have ever in my life

the room and hotel in are very old no maintenance, everything is broken, bad smell all over the hotel, you will never feel any hospitality, they just want to take your money and they don't care you will come back or not, because they are sure you will never book at their hotel again

In the beginning, I thought I'll not enjoy my stay, but I did!
The room service was nice, and the reception was very good.
I didn't try the breakfast.
I think this place was too quiet during my stay, but I'm sure if it was more crowded it will be noisier (party themed).

The property is good for the price. The price is good for what you can find in Dubai and is very well located, for example if you want to go to expo or Dubai Marina. They also have a supermarket and stores very close. The staff was always helpful too.

Dirty, dirty, dirty, not suitable for family, very bad service. When we walked into the room (after it had been \"prepared and sanitised\") there were food crumbs on the carpet, the curtains had dark stains, the towels were old and worn out, there were several dead insects on the windowsill, the toilet was leaking, and the fridge looked too horrendous to put food in (look at the pictures!!). When we left then came back for the night, the floor had food remains from what we had eaten the night before, and the water was not re-filled. Also, the constant noise from the night club at 3 am was very annoying even though we were 9 floors above.

I arrived in the middle of the night. I was not expecting to be placed on the 12th floor, beneath loud continuous music and bass all night long. Made it impossible to sleep/rest after a long flight. Towels and toiletries were only enough for one person to use even though, the reservation was for 2 people. Not a very well lit bathroom, the lighting needs to be adjusted better. If you’re running late expect to have an additional 5-10 mins added onto your time during check-out. Everything is verified in the room you’re checked-out and given your deposit back, which I must add was never mentioned until I checked-in. Location is decent for things to do around Emirates mall and other local attractions. A bit for for anything you want to do around Dubai mall and further up.

Hotel seems to be in a decent condition. Didn't have ivy issues with the service nor cleanliness. However, at check-in I had to wait for more that 20 min till a front desk personnel was available. That said, they kept apologising about the delay!
It's close to some main landmarks in the area such as metro station, restaurants and groceries.

NO HOT WATER IN SHOWER, POOR BREAKFAST AVOID!!!

So the hot water in the shower did not work for the whole hotel, been on going for months.
Parts of the breakfast were so cold it was like eating stone
The hotel manager said as we are from England we should be used to the cold and cold water shouldn't be an issue and gave us buckets of hot water.
The fire alarm had so many faults I couldn't ever expect it to keep me safe (I am a facilities manager so I know these things).
There was unsafe wiring from the TV, one touch and would have been toast.
I would never book here again EVER!!!!!

Not the best stay. I won't go there again.Service is average. No refilling of toilet paper unless requested. and they are cheap quality.. and tissue boxes do not exist! underground parking is a storage area! The heated pool is heated to a chili 23 degrees!
Elevators have a mind of their own.

Tricky way occured by this hotel

I was upset while wanted to check out, the reception asked me i have to pay for the water's bottle that was opened but didn't use by me as matter in fact while i have checked in, the reception asked me must be paid 200 AED deposit for minibar but i asked her would you please take it out the items of minibar from my room because i don't need its& she said to me send the guy to evacute minibar but she did not send no guy i think it is tricky way by this hotel to charges the passengers, i was stayed to this hotel 3 years ago at that time this hotel charged me uper amount tourisim fee & after i submitted my complaint to hotels.com & hotels .com found i had rights ,returned the money back on my account i think need hotels.com give notice about wrong ways to obtain money to this hotel as well . thanks

Unexpected Fun...

A quick business trip that turned into a whole lot of fun. The room was ok but the staff was really good. The fun came from the great restaurant and Rock Bottom Bar that are in the bottom of the hotel. Live music, great atmosphere combined for us to have fun, a few drinks, dance and then safely go back up to our room to sleep. The local area is not all that but rated it a big smile because the local local area was such fun.

Absolutely a treble hotel to stay. The worst hotel I have stayed in. The followings are a few issues.

1. Hotel Parking was full of junk and very difficult to park.
2. Bathroom's Toilet was dirty.
3. They did not have hair conditioner. I asked three times and each time I received different Shampoo or Shaver Gel.
5. Shower head support was broken, hence, shower head would not stay in position to take a shower.
6. Bed sheets and pillows were dirty and stained.
7. TV Remote Controller was broken and was not working.
8. Restaurant for breakfast was dirty. The food was not fresh. Therefore, I did not eat my breakfast there.

I arrived in Dubai late and checked in the hotel late. My reservation for this hotel was for three nights. However, I moved out of the hotel next day as soon as I could. The hotel refunded me for the remaining two night. However, I think Expedia should refund me for the first night as well. Expedia should remove this hotel from their list of hotels in Dubai.

The worst place I ever stayed at

Stay away from this place my room was Filthy and the bed sheets and the towels were smelly and had cigarettes holes .to top all up we woke up to find Roaches crawling on the ceiling on top of our heads !we later found out that the hotel is infested with roaches! I had to cut my stay short and Checked out 7 nights earlier ,And when I asked to talk to the GM of the hotel he refused to meet me and him his manager offered to refund one night back or an up grade to a suite for DISCOUNTED price if I erase my photos and vedio evidence .

I stayed their for six days from the second day i asked for fixing the air conditioner because it was only flowing cold air and before I leave the hotel the engineer of the hotel came to fixe.
Even i asked for changing my room they said we will give you a room with two separate beds.
We were so upset.
The noise of this hotel is at the highest becouse of the bar and roof top activities.

Rooms are decent size, wifi was mostly good throughout my stay. Check-in and out was quick and efficient. Great food served at Goodfellas Bar, lasagne was very nice and burgers were good quality. Pool area could do with more loungers, otherwise a good stay.

The worst hotel experience ever.

It started with a phone call from the hotel as i was collecting my suitcase at the airport telling me that my room was given to someone else and that the hotel is fully booked (although mine was paid for in advance two weeks before). After waiting for 3 hours till around 11 pm they sent me to what was supposed to be a sister hotel with an extra star. It was by all means a falling star as I had to wait for an hour before they decided upon my insistence to give me an upgraded room asap. I went up to the room to find it was literally freezing. It seems no one has been using that suite for a long time. the pillows were of the cheapest quality and the water pressure in the shower was close to zero.
The staff in both locations were trying to make things better but frankly speaking the hotel itself is after making a quick buck as the premises is full of bars and nightclubs that banged all night. Even the separating doors between the rooms is so thin that I can hear my neighbor whispering. And the parking area below was full of empty beer kegs.... what

As I said they did try to make it up by offering me free breakfasts which to any standard is low and they did send me a basket of fruits.

That hotel has a great location.

I have never seen a shawarma stand in the reception of any hotel except at the Royal Remee where they had me stay the first night.

So on a scale of one to 10, I would give this hotel a 10... on the Richter scale.

Shady characters all over due to Rock Bottom being on the premises. Hotel staff were a bit rude and slow, kept changing pricing of room service and late check-out. Shower was horrible - it flooded the entire bathroom. Bed and linen a bit uncomfortable.

Good hotel to stay, staff were very friendly and polite. Room was spacious and clean. A supermarket is nearby about a ten minute walk. The nearest Metro station (Dubai Internet City) is about a 25 - 35 minute walk. Check-in can only be done after 2:00 so if you arrive very early like I did you will have to wait to get your room. There is free Wi-Fi for your devices (smart phones, pads, tables, laptops) however it is very slow and are only allowed connection to two devices. There is a nite club and Thai restaurant on lower floors so beware of the crowd especially if you staying over the weekend.

The hotel staff gave me a room where the wifi did not work. It took two hours for them to switch rooms. I finally had to go to the lobby to get the new room key. Wifi was pretty poor there as well. The toilet would constantly run if you did not mess with the handles until it stopped. The shower head sprayed water vertically directly at the towel rack. Just overall annoying stay. The only saving grace was the breakfast was half way decent. For a four star it really only rates 2

Check in was quick and easy. Free wi-fi, 24 hour room service with good food at fair prices. Good location with nightlife, all night pharmacy and food close. Right on E-11 so convenient to anywhere in Dubai. Close to Mall of the Emirates and Madinat Jumeirah shopping. Staff is responsive and polite.

Good hotel, nice location.

All in all the hotel is nice but there's a problem of humidity (at least in the room I took where there's no balcony nor a window). It was a bit annoying, you can easily feel that the room really needs fresh air...

Good thing is that the room is spacious enough, nice panoramic view, nice bathroom... but the TV only has 20 channels so I was only able to watch some news. that's it.
