Extremely clean, modern, convenient hotel in an amazing central location, next to metro station & close to a famous mall. Highly recommended!

Wonderful leisure facilities, including rooftop pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam, gym etc.

Very kind, friendly & helpful reception staff.

PS. I initially had a problem with my room being far too cold, with no warm sunshine coming in, but they kindly moved me to a different room & fixed this for me.

As a wheelchair user, even though the ramp was steep - the staff went above and beyond to assist me in and out of the hotel needed everyday. Staff also assisted my belongings dropping it off in my room. On the first day waiting for my friend to meet, they offered me free apple juice in the morning. They were super polite and even with a smile everyday.

Moderate Stay, nothing fancy

A decent stay for an affordable price. Good connectivity with shuttle services to Mall of Emirates, The Outlet Mall & Blue Beach. Metro Station / Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel. There are many food options available near by as well.

Staff were very courteous and answered all queries instantly. Travel Desk was also available for tourism options.

We selected executive suites with kitchenettes. One would assume that if there was a kitchenette, there would be stuff in that kitchenette to prepare something, but, to our surprise and contrary to their website’s info, the kitchenette was empty and they refused to provide us with kitchenware, plates and cutlery.
They charged us 2,5x more for the extra bed that I had asked for my son.
The room wasn’t clean when we arrived and it was never properly cleaned while we were there.
There were no towels in the swimming pool area and they didn’t bring towels even after repeated requests.
Many more things were wrong in there.

A fairly new hotel that feels very old.

Good location near metro station. The hotel is about 10 years old but feels a lot older. It has a lot of maintenance issues. In our room the bath/shower tap was very difficult to use (nearly jammed) the toilet flush buttons were broken, the room safe didn’t work. But more importantly was a safety issue in the bathroom (and all rooms are the same) whereby the side of the bath has a very wide tiled edge which you have to step over to get into the bath/shower. Not so bad when getting in, but very dangerous when getting out wet. However the main bedroom was ok, quite big and a big comfortable bed. If you can get a good deal it’s recommended, otherwise look elsewhere.

Over all the stay was good ordered too service and the grilled lobster was missing the claws and was under cooked the steak was old and bitter and all the food was cold the room service from the kitchen was very dissatisfying if that was good I would very much return their but that made it so I will never book their again

Free internet was advertised but wifi password not provided. I asked for an adaptor for my US-type plug. It came after 45 mins and a reminder. The hotel has 3 restaurants but doesnt not have a room service menu. They can at least provide the menus of the 3 restaurants for take-out. Room was way too cold even after keeping the air conditioning switched off for half a day.

I liked it was convenient to places and location I wanted to be in, for this particular trip. If it offered a better selection of eateries and coffee shops, would be much better. All in all, the staff and facilities were truly on point and excellently helpful!!!

Good location and very close to the Mall of the Emirates and train station, the room is surprisingly spacious. I have booked a \"standard room twin\", although, on Expedia site, you cannot request for 1 x double bed or 2 x single beds (although, it was stated from the site the availability of both the options), however, upon check-in, when inquiring if a double bed is available, and I was told Yes, but I need to pay an additional AED20.00/night - Why? Which I did... But this certainly gave me a bad impression of the hotel!

-Wash room needs work/ repair/ up grading
-Shaving kit in the washroom, the razor was not sharp. On my request the front desk gave another kit, razor was again useless.
-The tooth brush was also of extremely poor quality.
-No disposable cups available in the room.
-staff tried to do the best to help.

I arrived 2 hours earlier than check in time. The reservation hadn’t arrived from Expedia so we had to wait about 10 minutes before the front desk staff could check us in which I didn’t really mind specially that they allowed me access to the room before 3 pm. What I didn’t like is the fact that the front desk person while polite and courteous couldn’t control order and allowed two guests not in the line to cut to the front and have discussions and negotiations with them while serving me and with several other guests lined behind me.

The furniture in the room was damaged and the minibar was empty.

I would not recommend this to anyone

Check in took too long with very unfriendly staff. Had to request changing my room because it was too smelly and unhygienic. Requested a glass of ice from room service and was told I would be charged three dollars for it which is outrageous. Overall a very unpleasant experience which is a shame as the hotel has the right infrastructure and is well positioned.

Avoid unless last resort!

Really disappointed with our 2-night stay here over NYE. The hotel was not that busy, despite it being a busy period, however we arrived at 9am and paid an extra 180 AED to check in early. The room they gave us, has nothing in: No towels, no sheets, no toilet paper, no soap. An easy fix I thought, but it took 7 calls to reception/housekeeping to get this fixed (and still took 8 hours)

The couch is the studio was filthy, it had so many stains on it that you would not want to put your suitcase on let alone sit on it. The management assured me the couch would be replaced before we got home that eveving, we returned to the same couch with just a towel ontop (used as a cover)

I am aware a lot of these things can happen from time to time, and a a good management team/customer service can go along way. Unfortunately, these guys were really rude and not bothered to help us out.

Keep away from this hotel.

Avoid this hotel! The hotel is out of date and they do not maintain the property so you end up questioning your safety.

I had to move rooms three times because in all three rooms the air con was not pumping cool air as they had not maintained the system by simply cleaning the filters. When the outside temperature is 42 degrees it will get hot inside but the hotel did not care. There was told on the bathroom ceilings and many of the light bulbs were flickering or not working. When you complain they end up making it obvious that they don't care and on your last day they will phone and ask you what time you plan to leave as they are so desperate to get rid of you. Even in my final room the tv remote was not working, no spoon had been left to make tea or coffee and the air con was pumping hot air. Also, the water is luke warm, when I complained the maintenance guy asked me if I wanted hot water and the problem was not resolved. Do not spoil your holiday by booking this hotel. Hotels.com should not list this hotel. Wi-fi connection keeps disconnecting too, real pain!

Was pathetic. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty and full of shody characters. Water was leaking from Bathroom ceiling. On asking for change of towel was told it costs 15 AED to geg towel washed so they won't change it. Neighborhood was full with shady massage parlours. Don't even think of coming to this place. By the way the people working at the hotel don't care anyways.

The pool area is very nice, restaurant is good with good selection of food. Reception area very nice, staff very friendly.Room very dated and dark, very hard to do makeup as lighting poor, bathroom also very dated. The pool should have parasols as a lot of children about and temp very high. I would not recommend to anyone with children due to no parasols

We arrived Sunday around 10 in the morning. They could not confirm our reservation through hotels.com. After many hours waiting in the lobby, without breakfast or lunch, I finally decided to cancel my stay
Only at that point, almost 5 pm, they allowed us to enter our room which was already paid in full for 3 days.This arrival was particularly bad because we were tired, without sleep, and coming from a 6 hours airplane trip out of Thailand.

Average hotel near to the Mall of the Emirates

This hotel is ideal for those wanting to stay in a central location in Dubai. It's near the Metro station which makes it convenient to get around in Dubai and the Mall of the Emirates is just a short walk away. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and free WiFi was provided in the room.

I did not like the fact that on check-in the receptionist demanded payment for the tourism tax. Usually guests are asked to pay this on check-out. I was tired from my flight and just wanted to get to my room to freshen up and nap. So I asked her if I had to pay it now. She said yes, which I wasn't happy about and told her that I didn't have the money. She didn't say anything and handed over the room key. Yes, some of the reception staff could do with lessons on customer service. I paid the tax on check-out so don't give in to the demand on check-in if they insist.

The reception area could be improved. It is large with comfortable sofas and free WiFi but unfortunately it can get very loud if groups of people converge and have conversations. They need to look into sound-proofing the area.

I found that unless you went really early, having breakfast was a challenge! The dining hall was not big enough so people had to queue until tables were available. The food area was difficult to access due to the traffic of people and crockery & cutlery also seemed to be in short supply. We had to request to the staff to fetch more cups, plates, bowls, spoons etc. They really need to improve in this area.

Great place to relax

This hotel was a great place to relax. The pool was located on the roof which is the about the 6th floor. It wasn't too busy and got lots of sunshine. The gym had excellent facilities and there was always space on the treadmills.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was large with a lovely walk in shower.

The hotel is conveniently located one stop away from the mall of the Emirates so if it's shopping you're after then you are in a great spot. The Embatuta mall is also worth a visit as it tells the story of the Arab explorer.

Overall a great stay and would stay here again without a doubt.

The hotel was just over the road from Sharaf DG metro station, and walking distance (about 13minutes) to get to Mall of Emirates and the local bus terminus. Large roof top area with pool and cafe, plenty of sun loungers and a few parasols. Towels available to use at pool area.

Good:
Excellent welcome. Drinks on arrival and room ready.
Large 'Presidential Suite' with great view of Burj al Arab and Madinat.
30 secs walk from Sharaf Dg Metro.
10 mins walk from Mall of Emirates/Ski Dubai.
5 minute taxi ride to Jumeirah Beach (traffic dependent).
Room service menu excellent.
Beds, fridge, shower, TV, toilets all good.
24 hour well stocked supermarket just outside main door of hotel.

Bad:
Some dodgy sockets in room. Adaptor loaned from reception for use in cooker melted.
Kids crayon marks on wall.
Broken wardrobe door and back of sofa defective.
Breakfast expensive and untidy room.
Pool area boring and whistle-happy lifeguards give intimidating air to children.

Overall, worth the money but don't expect luxury - hotel needs a little TLC.

Very nice hotel just in 4 minutes from subway

The hotel is very nice for a reasonable price. Located just in 3 minutes walk from a subway station, which is very important in Dubai's weather.
Room is very clean and comfortable, also you can have a nice breakfast and dinner right in the hotel's restaurant.

Great location near metro

Solo female traveller. Was just passing through Dubai and on a budget. This seemed reasonable. The room was spacious with a bath, aircon. The location is fab 2 mins walk from sharaf dg metro - 3 stops from marina and 6 from Dubai mall/ burj khalifa. Hot tip: get a all day metro ticket for 16 dirham, if you catch it more than twice in a day it's worth it. The roof top pool was nice, the gym here is in great condition AND is manned by a personal trainer. That's a pretty high standard. The rate I booked on hotels.com included internet (for one device)

I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Dubai.

An unexceptional but perfectly acceptable hotel

It looks a little prettier in the photos than in real-life, but is a reasonably modern and comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly and willing, if not incredibly well trained. The location is good - 2 mins walk to a metro station pretty much equidistant between downtown and Palm Jumeira areas. The free wifi is rubbish, but the paid one (included in my booking) was pretty decent.

A lot better than what I expected

I've stayed at a quite famous 3 star hotel near by before but I thought this hotel was a lot better. Very convenient place to go to the mall, take metro, etc I wouldn't mind to come back and stay at the same hotel again. One thing I wasn't happy was that a study desk in the room was a dodgy made, I could hardly open the attached drawer when I sat on a chair. Apart from that, I had pleasant time staying there.
