Staff was great and respectful. They remembered your names and were very helpful. The Tour Company located within the hotel Blackstone Tourism Group headed by Kookie and Kristna our tour guide, was amazing. This company arranged all our tours and Kristna stayed with us no matter the time whether it was 11pm or midnight. He also respectfully would guide us on appropriate behaviors within this culture with us coming from a western society and not wanting to offend.
Breakfast you won’t want to miss. It was quite a spread and you get an assortment of western and local dishes also omlettes could be made to order.
Room was pleasant and good size. We had no complaints.

We were charged extra for a third bed even though the original booking was for three people. We had to call housekeeping when we returned to the room the first night to have them bring in the third bed because they were confused and didn’t do it while we were out of the room. The daily cleaning of the room during our stay seemed insufficient.

Going to the restaurant on the day I arrived after a 14 hour flight I ordered a coffee as I couldn't check-in, the rude lady brought me a coffee half full so I said can I av a full one she brought me the same one back half full. An it was about 6 pound. Also I was put on the 13 floor an the roof top bar is so noisy at night, jus a few floors up . would not stay here again. I also rang down an and asked for more milk for the room ,they only provide creamer!! Who has creamer with tea. !! I was told there is a billable charge for milk..The customer service is zero an needs looking into. Defo will not be back.

We have had a delightful stay at this hotel. Jady, Dom and Saeed deserve a special shout out. They have treated us with such kindness and care. We asked for an early check in and were completely accommodated. It’s a very robust and well stocked breakfast buffet, and we have been extremely pleased. We did an Overnight Dessert Safari and they kindly looked after our luggage for us so that we did not have to take it there. Thanks to the whole team.

Great and helpful staff, especially Ancilia, Julie and Rose with whom we were interacting most of the time. We had a very pleasant stay thanks to them and they were honestly the kindest and most reliable staff members, keeping an extremely high standard.
The hotel is nice and clean, rooms are spacious, swimming pool area is quite nice and downstairs bar has pool table, food and drinks.

Internet is terrible!
Soda & other drinks way overpriced. Go down the street to the local markets for drinks.
Our room lights randomly turning on while trying to sleep.
TV only local content, no way to connect to YouTube, Netflix, etc. HDMI cable did not work with TV.
If it rains, huge puddles out front prevent travel.
Loud thumping music and kids screaming until 2-3am EVERY night.
Laundry service fees are ridiculous! We stayed 20 days and needed laundry done. A small bag, not even a full load of laundry, would have cost us over $80 USD. Laundry service was rude.
Fridge needs replacement, barely cold, food spoils, leaking water from who knows where.
Sink drain in our room was broken and would fall off every time you ran water, couldn’t be closed.
Had to ask staff for many things that should have been part of the room cleaning (e.g., clean glasses, toilet paper), and sometimes had to ask for the same thing multiple times.
Says 5 star. I’m curious: Out of how many stars? I’m not sure if the rating is like US, but I have stayed at better hotels rated 3 stars.
Tile around pool is VERY slippery. Be careful!!!! My husband, my son, and I ALL almost fell.

Huge rooms and huge bass! Don’t expect to sleep!!

I stayed here for 10 nights on half board. I was travelling with 2 young children so was pretty reliant on the hotel. The good bits:
Rooms are huge. I had a 2 bedroom suite. Never used the lounge part as bedrooms were huge.
Lifts are good.
Food didn’t give anyone an upset tummy.
The bad parts.
We started in room 311. I asked on check in about the noisy night club which is mentioned in reviews, to be told there is no nightclub. First night, settled about 11pm, then it starts…..boom boom boom. And I don’t mean a little noise, it goes through you, through the pillows and walls. Until 2/3am!! I tolerated 3 nights, then we requested a move. To 1211. But you can still hear and feel the boom booms until 3am!
It was the worst ever!
The pool was crowded, lots of ‘invisible friends’ people keeping beds free for their mates…. Plus more boom boom gangman style music. What is with the base in this hotel!
I bought a beer and 2 sodas on the roof, this cost me 100dirhans - so not an option for the next day!
Breakfast same food every day. Got boring very quickly.
There was free water in the room, but it tasted a little salty.
I only survived on deliveroo!
My room 1211 was not serviced once and I had to ring up for towels etc.
Certainly not a 5 star hotel!

Hotel was a great option. The only point that I’ve found a little strange was the fact that it seemed to me there was a misunderstanding between the reservation I made on Hotels.com and what they had there!
I had breakfast for only one person and we were 4 people as confirmed on the reservation (they solved the issue without any problem)
I had two single beds and again we were 4 people. Again they solved the issue.

I chose this hotel as it seemed to be centrally located near the 'Mall of the Emirates' for a 3 night stay All staff were courteous and helpful. There was a wide selection of cuisines to chose in the dining room. My 3* rating is due to the bass rhythm from the night club on the ground floor reverberating through the building up to my room on the 11th floor disturbing my sleep every night. I mentioned it to reception, who offered to change my room, but it is outside of their control.

A bar and a night club downstairs made the property very noisy and can smell cigarettes every night. The area is very crowded it took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get out of from there

The stay was great and the property is in great condition. The swimming pool was under repair and thus not available! This was never disclosed at the time of reservation, I think it should be clear. The alternatives provided their timing was not the most convenient. The gym is small and rather dark, more lighting would do it well. Towels quality can be improved, on some days some were tired

OK hotel, but I wouldn’t return

Hotel is clean and in very nice condition. However, check-in was VERY slow. Arrived at 3:30 PM (a half hour after check in time) and room was not ready until 5:10 PM. Key cards deactivated on first day. Room number and guest name was not given to host at breakfast, and was nearly charged for a breakfast that should have been complimentary. A few lamps were missing lightbulbs, that had to be called for and replaced, and television was mostly inoperable, not responding to remote input and only staying on the HDMI 1 setting. Cold water pressure seemed to be lacking and often could not cool the water down fast enough (which is opposite of what is typically experienced with trying to get the right water temperature). Bed was very comfortable and room amenities very useful. Location is VERY convenient. Had it not been for the other inconveniences and problems, I might more so recommend this hotel.

The staff at Elite Byblos were very friendly and very polite. Check in was very easy. This hotel is close to Mall of Emirates, where there is a lot of shopping and restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel but heard other guests saying good things about it. Breakfast was good, yes repetitive but that’s common with most hotels.
I had absolutely no issues with anything, I would definitely stay here again.

First of all they told me my booking cancelled by Expedia and I discovered it’s not right at all and I lost my night

The area do not feel safe enough.
At the reception had guests arguing the receptionist not very helpful, took us to a room that already had guests in the middle of the night.
Bed had stain and the housekeeping guy seeing it kept saying that the bed was changed even that he could see the stain on it.
The concierge guy at night very rude, just needed to collect my case as taxi was outside, he took ages .... made me feel that he just didn’t want to help at all.... but I just needed to collect it, as I carried it to the car myself....
smell of cigarreia in the room, I chose no smoking room.... floor dusty ....
Didn’t feel safe and didn’t manage to relax.... spent the day in a different place....

Holiday from hell - definitely not a 5 star hotel

The guy took our passport and went inside for at least 15 minutes without telling us to sit down. We had a long day and the greeting was horrible. Very disappointed. The next day, we got woken up at 9am (on a Saturday morning) by some maintenance work going on the upstairs flat. We called and the reception says there are no work going on at the hotel. Minutes later got a call back and they confirmed that there was someone carrying work and they now have stopped. Early the same morning, we could hear kids next door playing with the door bell and running around banging the door. It was the rest from hell. The duty manager does look like he care as long as he gets paid. We got room service and food the next morning and as a golf member I was entitled to a discount but none of them told us about that. To summarise, this hotel which is in fact was called the coral before is not a 5 star hotel. Poor service and poor customer service, very disappointed.

Everything in this hotel is nice except reception. Bad experience with the reception. No service mind, not prefessional seem like trainee staff. We (included 1 year old baby) have waited for 2 hrs to get the room. Reception told me to sit and wait until the room ready then they will let me know. They asked me to confirm my booking every half an hour for 3 times without let me know about the room status. Don't expect the smile from the reception.

Check in and check out was amazingly quick and seamless thanks to Mahmoud Rady.
The room was cleaned and linen changed .
On arrival on the 24th December the Tv was not playing well , we called and an IT technician was dipatched the next day, he tried to fix but the problem persisted throughout our stay my husband kept reporting it they kept promising that it will be attended but nothing happened that was the only downside but fortunately we were going out a lot so it wasn't much of a hassle.
Breakfast was super awesome as they varied the meal every day dinner was also awesome. Overall a good hotel nice and clean swimming pool but service not so good in the roof top, we ordered a meal and it took them for
ever to deliver the meal to us i complained and was offered a comlimentary drink still waited for the ordered meal to come promises, promises but no delivery till we decided to leave and then they wanted to keep us waiting more for a comlimentary meal by now we were upset and refused the offer.
The hotel itself has a very good ambience only spoilt by the lack of proper service.

Dislike: staff not friendly or helpful. Interior is outdated. It doesn't feel like a 5-star hotel at all.

Great hotel with excellent food offered. Convenient for shopping as few minutes walk from the Mall of the Emirates. Very good service and comfortable rooms.

I love the staff! Always so accomodating! Atef and Chnoda at the front desk are exceptional! Location is convenoent right next to MOE and rooms are extra spacious

Checking in and out took too long
Only one person at front desk and very slow
There were some masquito or bugs in the room which tortured us during our stay.
