Nice big rooms and breakfast choice was good .... great for the price. Mall of Emirates is very close by as are 2 metro stations. Staff were absolutley terrific from recption, restaurant to Spa and pool Team. Very helpful and kind... they work so hard to make stays enjoyable and relaxing and they were always helpful and smiling .... amazing for price and will be returning.

The suite was spacious, Clean. having a kitchenette could be a bonus for this room. staff are very nice. breakfast needs to include more varieties to match with Arab and western guests , as it focus on Asian food ...
the hotel is next door to mall of the emirates , and Metro train station at the mall as well as less than 10 min walk to mashreq metro station.

Some positives a d some negatives

Check in was a bit of a hassle. The hotel was clean all the time. The housekeeping staff was very kind and thoughtful. The hotel however was missing a restaurant that has an alcoholic bar and it was also lacking in food options in the hotel. Location was a bit hectic but very close to the mall. The parking was very tight to get into and sometimes hard to find a spot.
We had 2 rooms connecting, 1 room had rusty shower parts and plugs that didn’t work. The second room had a lounger that was in really bad shape. Overall I would rate this hotel a 3/5. Not the best place I’ve stayed, but not the worst.

My stay experience

The room was spacious, and the hotel ambience was good. The staff are friendly and helpful, their room service was very quick. The breakfast was also reasonable and the services in the restaurant was very good. The hotel is not renewed and you can see that the carpets are not very clean, the furniture is scratched and broken and the usb cable was not working so you cannot feel comfortable in terms of cleanliness as it looks old and not in a good condition

Fantastic location. Just a walk away from Mall of the Emirates and the metro station. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely view of the mall. The hotel has a lovely space to sit and read a book or just relax in reception/entrance. Was great to know that one had access to the pool during the pandemic time. They do not mention it and was a shock with check-in, but due to COVID19 they only clean your room every 3 days. So if you need towels or water you need to call housekeeping. Otherwise it was a lovely 2 days.

On checkin the staff were trying to deal with too many customers at once.

The iron had a loose plug which kept heating up after 5-10 mins of usage. This to me was a safety hazard.

Basically the family connection room is good, big space, hot water. Breakfast is ok. Staff is fast and helpful on checkin, carrying luggages, and calling taxies. The only point to mention probably is the towel, can see some precious feedback they are not clean enough. And same issue during my stay, so I just don’t use them.

Very helpful and friendly staff in this modern looking hotel. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in and any personal requests handled professionally and promptly. We stayed as a couple for 7 nights in Nov 2019. Hotel is close to 2 Metro stations (both within 7 mins walking distance) and to Mall of Emirates (5 mins walk) so excellent choices for food.
Stayed in a premier room and had a buffet breakfast which had plenty of food choices (omelette/pancake station, croissants, cereals, variety of fresh juices, fruit)
We did eat at the hotel restaurant called Kulcha King which also excellent. We ate both chicken and lamb kebabs served with naan bread and fries. Also has a cafe serving light food which we did not use. Mahesh and his team are a great credit to this particular hotel in Al Barsha and the Flora Hotel brand.
Overall an truly wonderful stay and we will certainly be back!

The overall stay was disappointing. Bedsheets too small for the bed leaving the end of the mattress bare was a moment we had to laugh at as well as coming to the realisation that the bedsheets were never changed but just made each day!

The light switches were reminiscent of a challenge from the crystal maze which provided daily entertainment.

If its just about location book away but if you would like to stay in a proper hotel choose another.

The hotel is only a short walk from the Mall of the Emirates and its Metro station. From there it is very easy to take the Metro and explore other parts of Dubai.
The Mall of the Emirates is also one of the hubs for the hop on/hop off tourist buses, so very convenient to use and it also houses one of the biggest supermarkets I have ever been to. As going out in Dubai can be very pricey it is great to buy some affordable food in the supermarket.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is also very clean and staff very very friendly. The room I stayed in was huge and very comfortable. When I arrived I had an issue with the television (it couldn't be turned OFF), but this issue was resolved very quickly.

It was terrible. The power outlets in the room didn't work. The service was slow. The fridge didn't work. The room was not well maintained and looked dirty. Nothing like the pictures. It actually left such a nasty taste in my mouth that it spoiled my impression of Dubai as a whole.

The smell was unbearable.

The hotel was lovely but there was a few issues. The smell of the hotel was so hard, it gave me a headache. I don't know if it's because they have a salon but downstairs in the min reception area stinks of peroxide. Upstairs in the hall smelt so strongly of cigarettes, I had to hold my nose going to the room. I requested a Swan towel for mine and my husbands honey moon and they said they would do just that but when we arrived, there was no Swan towel.

ADULT JAIL! DO NOT BOOK HERE! THERE IS NO ALCOHOL, NO BAR, AND A NO GUEST RULE! You are literally booking your jail cell! This is not for single people. Upon check in they front desk request a 200 aed deposit for one night stay and 15 aed per night. This deposit is not usually required for Expedia Guest and especially Expedia Bookings with Emirated ID. No other hotel in AL Barsha booked on Expedia request a deposit. I had to go to the mall of emirate to get money transferred from USA by western union because of this unexpected fee. The room was upgraded. I had book 2 reservations and instead of checking that in the system 2 front desk morons called me 8 times while i was asleep to check out and check back in something they could have done without me leaving my room. Mind you the hotel was not booked to capacity and I could have stayed in the room I was in! I was not given a new room key and not offered to have someone help me. I asked for a refund and was refused a refund.The new room fridge did not work. The manager followed me in the hallway and elevator. I had to ask him to leave me alone because at this point they are harassing me. I had to take my phone off the hook and lock doors from the inside. This place is WEIRD! and RAN BY IDIOTIC WEIRDOS with no customer service or guest hospitality training. They have a not guest rule to the point. My DeliveRoo driver was not allowed in the lobby. There are too many screaming children. RUN!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS PRISON CAMP!

The hotel was simple. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious. We got the premiere connecting room. The Wifi was fast. The location was convenient, it is 3 min walk to the Mall of Emirates. The front desk staff were not too helpful with regard to assisting guests about tourist site schedules and direction. The local calls were charged. Only Faisal, Mohammed, Ferdi, and Herica were concerned and helpful. Will recommend to others but local calls should be free of charge.

We had a very comfortable stay at Flora Al Barsha. The staff were excellent, our room was very comfortable and spacious. The location is good, within walking distance of The Mall of the Emirates and local transportation. The Hotel also runs a free shuttle bus to the beach each day. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

The hotel is clean and very well situated with Emirates Mall next to it. The check-in process is tedious and complicated. I made the reservation through Hotels.com and the clerk kept insisting that a hold was placed in my account, some strange number she kept referring to. Charged my credit card with the total bill, plus a 400 dirham as deposit. Upon check out, they said it will take 4 or 5 days to get my 400 refund. They gave me cash when I did not needed as we were on our way to the airport. Very confusing and surreal process. MUST BE IMPROVED !!!

While I have stayed at this hotel numerous times, I believe I will stop going forwards. The room condition is not the same as it used to be and the level of cleaning is not up to the standards. I found hairs in bathroom, stains on rugs and some other stuff:. The hotel management is also not as friendly or polite. They tried to sell me an extra room despite having a room for two and each time they claim they the hotel refuse the right to accept a reservation. It's just sad and disappointing experience.

It's a beautiful hotel and my room was large and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and they even helped me make a reservation to visit the Burj Khalifa.
The hotel itself is very convenient as it's located in walking distance between two metro stations and it is a 5 minute walk from the Mall of the Emirats

First thing, make sure you specify a smoking or non smoking room. Luckily for me i got a free upgrade as it wasnt my first time there. For the price it is a really good hotel, the only bad point is the breakfast, as they have topical juice not orange or apple. I will stay again and recommend to anyone.

It was amazing the Emirates mall is just across the street. There's a supermarket a block away. A few nice resturants and bakeries within a block or 2 . We had 2 rooms one of the keys had to be reprogrammed a few times. The staff was helpful and courteous. I'd recommend it. Water HOTTTT. Bed soft. Very quiet. Black out shades . Big rooms.

Excellent hotel. Super duper clean! Staff is so friendly here. The gym has alot of updated equipment! Its a little outside of downtown but still very convenient because its beside TheMall of Emirstes. The hop on hop off bus terminal is in the mall which makes it very convenient. Hotel location is easy to find and right off the highway.

A Good Quick Business Stay

The hotel is clean, modern and well appointed. The room was good, large and tastefully decorated. There was some noise coming from the next room, as the adjoining doors let a lot of sound through. Also my room was situated next to the lift - despite me requesting a room far from the lifts - so it was a little noisy. Staff were friendly and the location was convenient for business and pleasure.

Very smart room and bathroom, with toiletries supplied. Coffee maker, big tv and comfy bed. Located next to the Zayed Road and Metro, with cabs outside at all times. Right next to the Mall of Emirates and in sight of Jumeirah beach. Close to the marina too. Very reasonably priced and a good choice of breakfast items included. Staff are very nice and helpful. Small rooftop heated pool and sun loungers.

Fantastic hotel with great staff who are always ready to help. . Fantastic quality breakfast with a huge assorted range of food..In a great location next to the mall..ultra clean and rooms are spotless..plenty of restaurants close by..great wi fi. .Hotel has a restaurant and also a coffee shop open 24hrs..overall a superb hotel in a great position..

I was at this hotel during my first time stay in Dubai, for a little over a week and it was a pure delight! The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful all hours of the day and night. And it was just a short walk from the mall. Overall it was a great trip and a huge thanks to the hotel and staff!!
