cleanliness issue

The hotel looked very run down and cleanliness was the main issue I can pinpoint that definitely needs a lot of working. the TV remotes were all dirty with sticky stuff. the kitchen appliances were dirty and needed rewashing. house keeping did minimum effort to clean the room.

Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews

The appartment was very smelly, the sofa smelled very bad that I was afraid to sit on it.
I was hearing the soind of water in the pipes and specially when any room around me was flushing.
The hotel staff were very unprofessional.
It was a very bad experience

Very comfortable stay ..quit spacious apartment with daily regular room service..staff were very friendly, impressed by politeness and professionalism of staff in reception and restaurant especially, Shahzad and Yosry in restaurant…
My only adverse comment is on extra beds’ charges .very much overpriced . Gym and swimming pool facility were always clean and opened for long hours..very convenient location, 5 minutes walk to Mall if Emirates and a lot of nearby restaurants

Amazing hotel highly recommended for families, we stayed a 2 bedroom apartment. My kids were playing in the living room as they if we they were at home. Beds were good, bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had everything we needed needed. Reception was excellent and service as well. Parking area in the basement is nice. Grocery delivery is near by and emirate mall is 5 min by walk. Only thing you need to remember is if your eating breakfast at the restaurant you need to wake up early to find a table before 9 am.

Fantastic ! We were given a suite which was amazing and more than we expected and really was huge and luxurious we loved it !
The Staff were great except for one :(
The only let down was the last night when we were kept awake by lots of noise we think from the service rooms next to us.....shame as everything else was fab.

High quality serviced apartments close to the mall

This is a fantastic hotel and I would highly recommend it. It is situated literally just outside the Mall of the Emirates, with plenty of shops and restaurants in the local area as well as in the mall itself.
The lobby is spacious and bright, with a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor. The reception desk is large and well staffed. The staff are always professional and polite. The hotel is remarkably clean. Our hotel room was pleasantly large and the housekeeping staff were always fantastic. The hotel had a roof-top swimming pool with gym/sauna/steam room facilities. The basement car park was large and spacious. Your're treated like a five-star guest and I would definitely be coming back to the same hotel. Thank you Ivory Grand Hotel for such a pleasant stay!

The hotel pool was perfect with plenty of space to swim. The hotel room was very noisy from other guests and the air conditioning. The room was clean although I did find a used water bottle under one of the chairs. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the corridor smelt of cigarette smoke, however luckily it didn't smell in the room.

Comfortable and value for money.

The hotel was very clean and ideal for family stay.It was near to MoE but bit more on walking distance due to adjacent construction work although hotel is already providing free transportation as well as to other several attractions.All of the staff was cooperative and friendly , we had got the upgrade from classic to superiors suit that make the stay more comfortable. I suggest to bit improve the wifi as sometime it has low signalling issue.

Nice hotel but construction work is deafening

The construction works outside my hotel were deafening and not a nice view from my room ,it was very noisy sometimes through the night ,therefore never got a goodnights sleep at all ,if it did stop ,started again at 6am the next morning,the TV was intermittent crept going all cracklaly I think due to the construction outside .
I wouldn't stay here again and certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

Superb location right beside Mall of Emirates so easy access to metro system and therefore all tourist areas of Dubai. Hotel staff very informative and accommodating and rooms adequate for purpose and a decent size. Only 1 small.downside is the amount of building work in the area however apart from the early starts and some noise it does not ruin the stat at this hotel in any way.

We enjoyed our 2-bedroom flat. The 2nd bedroom had twin beds which was great for the kids. The room itself came with well equipped kitchen area with enough to help for the days when you want to eat in. Our room also had a drying rack, washing machine. The swimming pool was perfect for small kids. Close for walking to mall of Emirates or the metro. We really enjoyed our stay. We found all the staff were courteous and polite. Definitely on our list for places to stay again !

What a waste of money!!!

I would NOT recommend this hotel. Check-in service was abysmal. I was asked by the receptionist if I wanted a drink while I waited for my room, to which I replied yes, and he said he would bring it to me. He didn't bother. Repugnant Filipino female receptionist that I'd read about on forums didn't disappoint. She shouldn't be in hospitality with her obnoxious attitude, and provided the worst service during my entire stay in Dubai. The room overlooked a huge construction site, which I was not warned about, and I couldn't even open the windows. The hotel itself even advised me not to. First morning of breakfast, I had to verbally spar with 3 members of staff, trying to convince them that breakfast was included in my stay. When they finally found my paperwork and agreed, not one could manage an apology. Thankfully I was able to steer clear of most of these fools during the rest of my stay. I didn't manage one good night's sleep because of the construction noise. And because the restaurant was so small, I had to make sure I got an early breakfast otherwise the place would become overrun and I'd have to wait for a vacant table. The minibus was very misleading, only venturing to locations further away once in the morning. The only good thing about this hotel was check-out.

GREAT HOTEL, AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN

The hotel was very nice and Clean. Staff was professional and helpful. Amenities like pool and fitness center were fun but closed a bit early given how fun really starts after dark. I would definitely recommend Ivory Grand and stay again. The only real negative was unstable internet connection and we didn't get face towels, only drying towels which is unusual.

The staffs were no nice and friendly, they upgraded me to one bedroom since I requested early check in which required a little extra pay. The room was spacious, clean and got 2 bathrooms.

It closes to the Mall of Emirates, very convenient location with shuttle bus service.

You can join any tour just sign up at the tour help desk which located at the lobby. The price was ok but pick up and drop off at the hotel which makes it so easy.

I really enjoyed my stays there!!

Absolutely loved our one bed studio flat. We used the swimming pool daily, as it was in the shade after a certain time (3pmish) which was very good due to it being so hot. The room itself came equipped with cutlery and dishes for two people, as well as pans, kettle, toaster and teabags. Our room also had a drying rack, washing machine, drying rack which were used daily. Not too long a walk to mall of Emirates or the metro. I absolutely loved my stay. The staff were courteous and polite and it was very enjoyable.

Reasonable hotel close to train.

Good size rooms, some disrepair. On arrival we found leftover food under the couch from previous guest(probably kids as it was all over and not started rotting yet). Kitchen countertop had 4 fish scales stuck flush to it. Everything was cleaned after responsive front desk sent cleaners to the room and i showed them what to clean. Wifi and wired internet is adequate for surfing. Gym is reasonablly equipped and quiet large. Good AC. Would stay again but adjust expectations a little lower.

They upgraded us to a bigger room for free on arrival. The breakfast was amazing, they offered complimentary shuttle services to the mall and beach, and the staff were helpful to any and all requests that we had. Cabs easily accessible as well. I highly recommend this place!

Unexpectedly great hotel

I booked this hotel as I could get two rooms (I chose the \"Classic Apartment, Two Bedrooms\" option) much more cheaply than at one of the bigger chain hotels for our family, so I didn't really know what to expect.

When we arrived at the hotel, check in was straightforward and the staff were polite and efficient. During check in, I learned that the hotel operates a free shuttle for guests between the hotel and a series of very useful places, including the Mall of the Emirates, Jumeirah Beach and the Dubai Mall, which was a massive bonus, although only the Mall of Emirates has a shuttle that runs frequently; for other locations, only one shuttle per day runs.

The hotel's proximity to the Mall of the Emirates is a massive selling point, since the Mall has pretty much everything you need to set yourself up, including a gigantic supermarket to buy essentials and food supplies (if you wish to cook for yourself). Because we were traveling in February, it was a very pleasant five minute stroll to the Mall, although it would probably be unbearable in the summer months (so use the shuttle!).

The apartment itself was beautifully decorated (tiled throughout), with two very nice bathrooms. The furniture will not be to everyone's tastes, but it was comfortable. The staff do a fantastic job of keeping everything pristine. There was no view to speak of, and there was some noise from building work going on nearby, but otherwise, this hotel was unexpectedly brilliant!

It was a good stay for a family with young children, rooms are quite big and spacious. Only limited wifi sharing ratio, small restaurants not big enough to carry least 60% of the hotel clients. Waited 30mins in the lobby before getting a table in the restaurant. Gym wasn't so bad, though with limited workout equipments. Breakfast is good for its standard!

Due to early check in and check out, I contacted the hotel prior to make sure this was okay. When I got there staff were ready to charge me additional 200dhm, but after speaking to manager this was soon resolved.

However the actual stay, rooms, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff and the facilities available absolutely brilliant! Ideal place for families or if you want to relax!

My wife, baby and I stayed at a one bedroom apartment, everything was nice and clean, yes around us were a lot of construction that started from 6AM till around 12AM, so yeah you will be awaken early for sure, but that is good in away to get for breakfast as it gets very crowded after 9AM and within the last hour to the end of the breakfast time, the trays are actually empty and there isn't much to have.
The staff are great and friendly and just when the construction finishes in several months, it will be a great stay.

great hotel, clean, large rooms, friendly staff

Good location, large clean rooms, bed not too soft, but it is personal preference. Very good complimentary breakfast, new every day and good quality. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. WiFi works great.

Friendly staff

The hotel is super close to the mall of the Emirates. Also, it was pretty easy to catch a cab every time from in front of the hotel.
