I was sent to a wing in Novotel, and I got upgraded. Great service, kind staff, superb breakfast and nicely decorated reception with a Japanese restaurant as an option for dining.

Overall, everything was good. The hotel and the staff were excellent and very professional. However, there was a noticeable damp smell in the room. I would recommend the hotel, and I hope attention will be given to this issue.

Location is very good (around 10 minutes walk to two metro stations, Insurance market and Mall of the Emirates station. Reception staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast wasn’t that good and the room furniture and fixtures were fully deprecated!!!

This was our first time in Dubai, and we stayed here on a 14 hour layover. The hotel was clean, tidy and the staff were all very welcoming, including the maid that was working on our floor when we arrived. The hotel was very close, about 11 minute walk to the shopping centre Mall of the Emirates, where there was a variety of priced shops. We also visited Jumeirah Beach which was a 14 minute uber ride to see Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The Sea was lovely and warm and well protected by life gaurds. We also saw the Burj Khalifa also a 12 minute uber ride away. Unfortunately we only drove past the Museum of the future and the Dubai Frame on our way to the hotel. If we had more time then we would had visited both. There are plenty of eateries very close to the hotel and in the hotel. As we had a 3 am flight we were not able to visit the breakfast room which was also included in our stay, but im sure it would have been well presented like the rest of the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel and found it was closed due to flooding. We received no notification from the hotel or Hotels.com there was any issue with our accomodation and in fact received an email 2 days before our stay asking if we wish to upgrade our stay. There was a handwritten notice on the front of the hotel advising us to ring for help - the number provided would not connect via our mobiles or a land line. Very disappointed with this booking.

Walk to the Mall of the Emirates with Ski Dubai. The only negative would be no gym & pool at the hotel but you can use the adjoining hotels facilities.

Cheap hotel if you want to stay without comfort , bed are bad bathrooms are worse when you take shower all the water comes out of the shower door which has quarter inch of opening from sides and bottom , my mother slipped as she came out of shower I complained but they didn’t care about it . If you turn on the sink tap slowly not to waste water all water comes on counter top. Shabby smelly carpet I changed my room twice same problem . Even manager Hannah or Hannan was not accommodating and agreeing to the problem but said I booked my reservation through Hotel.com that’s why she won’t put me next her her sister company Novotel which is attached to Ibis. The room was clean when i arrived, a bit cold. I stopped the AC and it was fine.
In the middle of the night i got awaken by a sudden loud noice, like people shouting in the corridor and banging against the wall.
After some time i heard a guy shouting at his wife and beating her. I called the reception and security came up to told the neighbor to stop. He was drunk and not listening. Again around 3 am i called and told reception if they don’t ask him to stop beating his wife i would call the police. They came up and he stopped for some time.
Again at 5 am he started to beat her, this time i went downstairs and told security i would not go up again unless the polices comes. The hotel called te police who came but when they checked it was all quiet they said they could not do anything. Finally i got upset ass i wanted to sleep and the hotel manager moved me to another room few floors bellow.
I went to bed and i don’t know what happened to the drunk tourist next door.
Generally i would say it’s a nice hotel and the staff is listening to guest. Unfortunately there needs to be several warning for them to take action. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t want to have a case registered at the police or if it because the process is too long.

Disgustingly dirty rooms. EXtremely unfriendly staff and terrible food. Overall, this hotel should be 2 star at best. My room had nothing in it. no coffee, soaps, no iron etc. I had to call housekeeping everyday to clean the room and the follow up as they would forget towels and pillows. There was no minibar at all. TV didn't work and extremely noisy every night. No view at all and not that close to the mall. They even overcharged me in the end and I spent 2 hours with them trying to resolve it. They never did. I had to leave and waiting for my refund. I doubt I'll see it.

It was nice staying at IBIS mall of emirates, dubai. Cleanliness of the room was of utmost priority for ibis as everyday cleaning and changing of bedsheets and towels weredone during entire period of my stay of 16 nights.
