I would like to share my recent experience during my stay. Unfortunately, the room had no heater, and I was extremely cold throughout my stay, which contributed to me becoming sick. In addition, while I was taking a shower, the ceiling above the shower actually fell off. I am grateful it did not hit my head, but it was a very unsafe and alarming situation.

Although the staff were friendly, I was very disappointed overall, especially considering that this hotel is owned by Rotana. The manager also mentioned that he would arrange a complimentary breakfast due to the inconvenience I experienced, but this promise was never fulfilled.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously, as these issues affected both my comfort and safety.

The staff are not welcoming. My check in experience was not welcoming (the guy looked angry seeing me), no luggage assistance, requested for a dental kit and praying mat had to call twice to remind them. Breakfast selection needs improvement for people staying 4nights plus is a problem as the breakfast menu is pretty much the same.

I have just little concern about the hotel, in the shower the bottles for body wash and shampoo doesn’t work. You can’t use it it is very hard to pump it even my husband tried but it did not help. I wish they changed to better quality bottle or different way.

I did not like the area around the hotel, I couldn’t walk because it is not clean and a lot of construction.

We’ve recently have had some issues with the hotels we have booked through Expedia. One said it was a 3 star – it was barely a one star. Another all the amenities we had booked it for were not operational although the Expedia site said they were – frustrating.


So, we booked the Centro Barsha in Dubai and were pleasantly surprised.


Located in a very diverse neighborhood (so much great food within walking distance!) – the Centro is a solid 3 -star hotel with a nice lobby area, pool, and gym.


We upgraded to a suite since we were staying 8 days – and it was nice to have some extra room.


Centro could easily be a 4 star if they would upgrade the room furniture and the carpeting in the rooms/hallways – our room carpet was slightly stained.


Staff were helpful and friendly – with room service being very fast.


About an 8-minute walk to the easy-to-use METRO – it’s convenient to get around the city augmented with UBER rides.


I would recommend the Cento Barsha.

Just too many plastic bottles every day .. Is the tap water in Dubai drinkable ??
If YES , the hotel should tell you that instead of the plastic bottles so guests can decide how much burden they want to be to the planet
If NO, then have a bottle refilling station near the elevators.

I have booked a month to stay at the hotel but after few days I have had bed bugs bites on my body they were itching badly and bleeding (I have pictures) I have showed them to the manager who brought a company to spray the room then provided a negative report AFTER they spread the room! The manager admitted they were bed bugs but claimed I caught them from the taxis and the weather but NOT from the hotel bed! Very horrible experience unfortunately.

I want to thank Mr. Barra and Mr. Joerge for their service and hospitality. The location is good near to the Emirates Mall and near to the mosque but it's noisy with cars outside moreover, the taxi is fewer in that area and in my opinion the hotel furniture especially the bed needs to be renewed. And the price is higher. But overall is good to stay if you don't have a better option.

The property had a decent breakfast for $13 a day. Prime location near mosque, mall, restaurants and train station. Bed was as hard as a rock and smelled of dust. The following day I requested fresh bedding and a few extra pillows and that did the job. Concierge were nice and helpful. Would consider staying here again.

I stayed there second time. Reception staff and others were great but restaurant Indian manager was very rude. He overcharged me and then he didn’t accept his mistake. I didn’t bother to urge for few AED’s. Very loud and unprofessional person. He destroyed the all pleasure of staying there. Centro Barsha Rotana is an excellent hotel. I have stayed there previously as well. The room is very cosy and comfortable. Didn't like how money was priority was every transaction from the bar. Upon bathroom leakage fault, I had a drink delivered to my room and slipped on wet floor. Broke the glass. Server was there too and denied to give another one for a free of charge saying he handed over and could cost him to replace. Cheap policy clearly.

You are not far from Downtown and the famous Jumeirah Beach.
