When we arrived the guy on reception wasn’t helpful.
Only 2 sockets working in the bedroom.
The complimentary coffee wasn’t in the room so I had to ask for it twice.
The cleaner woke us up both mornings being noisy. On the last day she knocked three times and I kept having to tell her to stop knocking.

We had a one night stay before going to the airport, booked family room for 4, on arrival only double bed was ready and not for our children but just went to reception and it was solved very quickly. All staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy. Didn’t have a breakfast so can’t comment on that. Didn’t really go out of the hotel so not sure about location too, we just had it for a sleepover to get to the airport. I had perk 20% off restaurant which worked pretty well as the restaurant was pretty overpriced, food was ok, service friendly.

This place was super accommodating. I left my phone in an Uber and 5 of the people at the desk tracked on my phone, Uber and even drove us a half hour away to retrieve it. Could not be more pleased. Breakfast was great, too!

Had an issue that our room kept tripping (4 times) out due to an old socket or two apparently, given the heat this meant our room was overly hot, whilst the staff were quick to reset the fuseboard, we were not offered a different room to avoid this entirely. I would suggest after the first time this should have been suggested.

A hotel located in the calmer city center side.
It is an older hotel and although there has been a reconstruction the furtniture and the rooms still shows sign of quite some usage.
Bar area like in a modern hotel and breakfast is solid.
If you need to be close to the center but dont want trams outside your window it is a good stay as long as you do not expect a brand new facility.

Description on how to get there (by foot) was a bit confusing. Location is great. 5 minute walk to Tram and Metro.
Bed was very comfortable and room & bathroom was very clean.
The AC wasn't as strong as expected but worked fine.

We were fortunate and had an upgrade tp NH collection which was at the top of a small hill on a natural wooded park. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great breakfast with lovely views. Also the funicular from NH City to the hotel was a lovely experience.

The hotel was lovely and clean the room spacious although it did smell quite damp when you first entered it. There is only one comfy chair in the room so if two people to other has to sit on the bed. No towels left on third day not good when you have actually got in the shower before you realise and although it says lock your valuables away I did not expect the room service staff to remove all our English money that we had emptied to make room for the Czech money. Hey ho lessons learnt. The breakfast was amazing lots of choice and a chef to make you fresh omelettes each day. Bar staff non existent in the sky lounge so people had to come down for service in the lower bar where at best the bar man was slow and forgot about the drink i ordered and had to be reminded. Location great about 20 minutes to the river on a straight road,

\"Nice Hotel we recommend it\"

Just one night stay but we were happy. The value of the room is fair and we were comfortable and we slept well. It is clean and the Bed sheets are fresh and new and soft. The Breakfast was perfect. The Location is not so near from the Center but we have a car so it was not a problem. There were parking spaces close to the hotel so it was fine we did not have to pay extra. We would stay again when we are in Prague.

I was moving and needed a nice place nearby. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this was a much nicer hotel than anticipated. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was quite a good experience. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel - an excellent value for the cost.

Probably Great Once the Construction is Done

The hotel is still under renovation and the view out the balcony room was all cranes and construction noise. Not sure what they're building out there but it's epic.
The room itself was like it literally was just put together. Instructions and hardware in the fridge and drawers. No amenities for the kitchenette, scratchy new bed linens, no access to minibar. We were there 4 nights and housekeeping might have come one day to give new towels? No coffees, cups, bathroom replenishing, no making the bed, etc. Also, be careful with the tub/shower- it's a death trap. It's high off the floor so stepping in to it is difficult. The handle helps but the tub is slippery and you have to enter at the end to get under the shower. Then when you try to step out and down with one foot your other one slips in the wet tub. I was too worried about falling to use it more than once.

iHowever, the hotel staff were very nice and helpful at the front desk and Red Bar.

Beautiful Green Space in the middle of the City

I booked the NH Prague Hotel for our 3 day stay as I had been there before. I chose a room with a terrace as the friend I was travelling with is a smoker. We loved having the quiet, private terrace with a beautiful garden view for relaxing with coffee in the morning and with a glass of wine in the evening. The hotel is in a good location for getting to the downtown area by foot or by Metro. The rooms are large and very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The city views from the terrace bar are wonderful. A lovely stay!

Executive level involves a steep tram up a hill.

We were upgraded to the Executive Level which included complimentary breakfast. Breakfast included omelets made to order. This was a nice upgrade. The tram which takes you to the upper level is not for the faint of heart. One morning we were trapped in the hotel elevator for 20 minutes and another day the tram was undergoing maintenance and we were taken up the hill in a mini-van and then had to climb steep stairs to get to this part of the hotel. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening and were shocked at the high price for very little food. Room was very large and floor was quiet.

Room service was bad. I called once to request an empty bowl in the room. The lady at the other end of the line told me that they would charge 5 euros for the service alone, unless I could come down and get the bowl myself. She also refused to heat my food.
Internet was bad too. It was difficult streaming a basic YouTube video.
The area feels a bit rough (although close to the main station) with lots of shady bars around.

Originally booked a standard room. Since I was an old customer stayed with NH Hotel in Zurich, I was allocated in a tower room on 8th floor which was so great! Plenty of spaces that first floor is a living room and second floor is the bedroom. I was so happy while staying in the room for 6 nights! Surely will choose NH Hotels again!

Perfect Location

This hotel NH Prague was in a perfect location with respect to public transportation to get to the city. The hotels on the otherside of the Valtv River, in Old Town or New Town, expect to pay a minimum of $150 for a low budget room.
this cost me $100. Prague is much like NYC and so staying on the other side of the river where NH Prague is, it is a 5 minute walk to the Tram where the Mall is, Starbucks and McDonalds etc. Get on Tram 9 you go to the Old/New City and other sites. Get on Tram 15 and you can get off at the other side of Charles bridge.
The Staff was helpful but I would not characterize as \"warm\". They did the job.
Prague is a spectacular city to visit and has no worries of any terrorist type events or thieves or anything like that.
NOTE: there is surprisingly a huge population of Thais, Vietnamese and Chinese, so you can get that food as well.

We were in the executive building this time, having stayed at this hotel previously. We were incredibly disappointed that there was only 1 coffee pod between 2 of us???? and 1 tea bag???? We had to pay for more if we wanted them. How ridiculous, who came up with that idea? Also disappointing this time, was the fact that the restaurant was closed and the bar (therefore, no happy hour), due to a private function. What about all the guests that have paid good money to stay there???

Nice hotel near to transportation and shopping

The room was clean and comfortable, and by European standards quite spacious. The staff at reception were a bit brief, and the lobby was partially under construction, but otherwise the service was fine. The local area is fairly unattractive due to the presence of a sprawling motorway intersection, but it was very convenient: five minutes walking takes you to Anděl metro station with bus, tram, and train services to anywhere in Prague, including a direct bus to the airport (#191). At the station there is also shopping area with dozens of shops, restaurants, fast food, and an enormous Tesco supermarket. Overall I had a very nice stay. Strongly recommended.

Unfortunately the lobby, and other parts of the hotel, were under renovation when I stayed and I was woken up several times by construction sounds in the morning. I was also disappointed to find out that the WiFI provided was unprotected. Unusual for a hotel and a turn-off after the problems with construction. I had to take a gondola up to my hotel, which seemed fun at first, but was out of order during most of my stay, leaving me to take a shuttle. I usually did not have to wait for a shuttle, but the drive took the better part of 10 mins to take you to the main lobby, and doubly so if you missed the shuttle. Really a hassle when you have been out all day and just want to go back to room, without having to take a shuttle.

I did have a FABULOUS view from that part of the hotel, however, with large windows that allowed me to see the whole city. The food in the restaurant there is very good, and it is reflected in the price compared to other restaurants.

The pillows were flat, I was using three and it still felt flat.

Overall, the hotel is a great value for a stay in Prague. The hotel is located near an underpass, but don't let that dissuade you. The location is conveniently located about 3 blocks from the subway and tram. If you like to walk, you'll be able to walk to safely walk to the city. If you like to keep up on your fitness, the fitness center is better than your ordinary hotel fitness center. It includes a couple treadmills, free weights, a bench press and pull down bar.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They have what you need, including tram tickets. They arranged for a hotel taxi to take me to old town square. That became not available, so they called one. They told me it would run about 450 crowns. It cost me 180. The breakfast was terrific and the staff there friendly and patient, given the volume of people. I would also recommend the Indian restaurant adjacent to the hitel, the Taj Mahal. Excellent food and very inexpensive.

Draws you in for disappointment

The hotel was marketed extremely well. On the website and in advertisements it seemed modern and state of the art, with scenic views, extravagant facilities and fabulous rooms , It has/was none of these. The room was basic at best and not what we booked at all. Our room was nothing like the ones pictured on the site and on first arriving we (a Couple) were given separate beds.

During our stay the room was cleaned daily with varying results, on our second day I honestly can't tell you what the cleaners did other than re-make the bed we had already made. The rest of our stay however the cleaning was satisfactory enough. However none of the tea and coffees were replaced; and on another day no clean glasses our cups were brought.

On our last day we ordered breakfast that never arrived.

Nice hotel - not the Ritz, but certainly comfortable. The staff was helpful. And the rooms were adequate. The concierge was very helpful - she hooked us up with tours, maps, transportation, directions, etc. I recommend it. The price was definitely right.

Interesting cable car

There are 2 buildings of the hotel and you'll need to take the cable car in the hotel to get back to your room if it is in building 2. By the time we checked in, the staff told us the cable car was under maintenance and there would be shuttle bus to take us to building 2 and asked us to sit in the lobby and he will tell us when the shuttle arrive. We waited for almost half an hour and decided to leave our luggage at the hotel and have a dinner first. I also asked the frequency of the shuttle bus and then the staff just tell me the cable car is already working, which means no one told us the cable car was back to order while we were waiting for it! Otherwise the hotel is pretty good and the receptionist at the building 2 was really nice.
