Great price for a lovely hotel
Hotel staff were very helpful and I had good communication from them before our stay as we upgraded the room to a triple which they accommodated without fuss. Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Overall a lovely stay in a quiet part of Prague but with easy access to everything. Thank you

Great stay! Quiet and clean but dated rooms. Close to public transit but a 15 min walk to the main attractions. Parking on site with reservations, we didnt have one but the fellow working the desk made all the arrangements for us to have one! Breakfast was good. Overall a good place to stay! Would stay again!

The hotel offers very good value for the money that I paid. It is slightly out of the city centre but still in easy walking distance from Prague's main attractions.
Receptionist was very helpful in assisting me to sort out a problem my return transfer via Expedia and really went the extra mile to help.
Rooms have fridge, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Toilet is separate from the bathroom which I found a little strange but not a problem. Included breakfast is filling, if a bit basic.

Perfectly located in Old Town right on the river.
Starting with an easy walk from the train station the hotel was easily located. Although don’t go to the river side to check in, reception is located in the alley out the back. This tip would have been handy to know. Apart from that a great place to stay.

Excellent budget hotel with suffice breakfast.We have discovered that staying in the Andel area is a good for holidaying on a budget. This are at least 35 percent cheaper than the town centre. Avereage beer is 35 and meal is 159 crowns. All resteraumts in the area are great which we randomly chose and were never dissapointed with.

A good no frills hotel
We stayed for 5 nights in Prague whilst my partner had a lens replacement operation. The hotel is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood within 5 mins walk of a big shopping centre and from where we could get a tram to the clinic. The hotel is basic with no frills but provided an adequate breakfast. We felt the room was spacious and liked the coffee / tea making facilities. Our only gripe was that the hotel charged my debit account for the first night a day before we arrived and then didn't take it off the final bill. When we pointed this out the receptionist, she said my account would be reimbursed - to date this hasn't happened which means I'll have to get on the phone. Apart from this we would recommend this hotel.

A little problem with the room size when we checked in but the young lady at reception soon had us in a double room instead of two single beds. Staff was very helpful and spoke very good English.

I did not like the attitude of the people working the breakfast area. They basically starting closing up and taking everything away and stopped the coffee machine at 10:00:01. I would of hoped that if you arrived in the room before 10am that you could take your time and enjoy your meal. I guess that since it was included with the room and essentially free that they just wanted you out asap! I felt extremely rushed and wanted a second cup of coffee but when I went to the machine they had it set for the cleaning mode. I was out of luck and annoyed.
There was no shower holder to put the nozzle on to rinse myself without holding it with my hand.
The wi-fi was not working in the room I had reserved and so they changed my room immediately after I noticed the problem.

Good Hotel, nearby to the tram
Very easy to find. Less than 10 steps to the tram. Friendly staff and very helpful. Had a great time staying in this hotel. The room had the looks of a 80's era, but I enjoyed every bit of it. The bathtub was elevated. If any old people rent this hotel, they may have issues with it. The breakfast was decent enough. Location was fantastic.

Great location but avoid during hot summer days
We stayed for almost a week. It was very hot and we know hotels don't often have air conditioning but all they offered was the tiniest of fans. The fridge was broken upon arrival and was never fixed which caused a problem as our daughter's medication needed to be refrigerated. The WiFi was sketchy and had it ups and downs. Breakfast was great and we love the Smichov area but would not recommend in the summer on the upper floors as heat was unrelenting.

First night they moved me a different hotel because they over booked (while popping that question they were offering me a chip bottle of wine to get me to move to a different hotel)

Excellent location
We spent 17 days at the hotel and will definitely stay at Arbes the next time we come to Prague. This is the best location. Close to the historical sites, tram, metro, train station, parks, restaurants, there is also a mol in 5 min walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tasty breakfast. Clean room.

I was pleasantly surprised when arriving at the hotel. It was near to a tube station, lots of trams and a few minutes down to the river. Although near to the town centre and action it was very quiet Our room was bright and very clean and the beds were comfortable and it looked as the room had recently been renovated. An added bonus was the tea and coffee facility in the room. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful although you had to climb down steep steps down to the breakfast room. Staff were pleasant and most helpful. All in all a very good experience!

The hotel was quaint and lovely for the value. It was cheap and close to the town center, only a 5 minute tram ride away. They do not offer internet in the hotel rooms, only in the lobby, just to warn others. It is an old hotel, renovated. It was nice to stay somewhere where you can experience old school Prague in a fairly new district. I would stay there again. If I had more money to spend, I would have stayed closer to the city center though.

The hotel is really nice. The staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and I loved the furniture! You have a nice mini-bar, internet connection in every room, and satellite TV. At the front desk, you can ask and buy tickets for several shows or boat trips and they also provide an exchange bureau service.
The breakfast is really good, a lot of choice so everybody can be happy with it. Also the location is great! A tram stop is just around the corner, a metro station and a mall are at 5 minutes walking and, if you like walking, there is a really nice 15-20 minute path from the hotel to the old town.

The location is not in the most heavily populated tourist zones, so it was nice and quiet outside in the evenings, but it is very near streetcar lines that take you into or back from the tourist areas in just a couple of minutes.

Séjours de 3 jours pour le 15 août, cadre un peu désuet. Chambre spacieuse au contraire de la sdb où 1 personne pouvait évoluée. Heureux de la mise à disposition du ventilateur (silencieux) car le weekend fut chaud. Établissement silencieux sauf si vous laissez les fenêtres ouvertes la nuit. La voirie passe très tôt (3-4 heure du matin) et aussi le début des trams. Petit déj bien garni type buffet continental. Personnel sympa pour le peu de contact avec eux mais trop souriant. Affluence moyenne pendant les 3 jours mais ce n'est pas déplaisant d'avoir de la tranquillité. Service de veille 24h/24 comme ça vous rentrez à l'heure qui vous plait.

Hôtel très bien desservi par quatre lignes de tram dans un quartier commerçant et vivant. Le personnel est aux petits soins et ils parlent tous anglais, mention spéciale à Din qui parle français. Ma chambre était très spacieuse au quatrième (avec ascenseur) et bien insonorisée. Si je devais revenir à Prague, aucun doute, c'est à l'hôtel Arbes rue Victor Hugo que je logerais.

Wij hebben tijdens onze stedentrip 3 nachten in het hotel overnacht. De kamers waren fijn en werden iedere dag netjes schoongemaakt. Verder was het ontbijt lekker en het personeel erg vriendelijk! Het hotel lijkt ver uit het centrum te zitten, maar dat valt heel erg mee. Door een goede metroverbinding zit je zo in het centrum en lopend is het ook goed te doen, ongeveer 30 minuten. Zeker een aanrader!

O hotel fica um pouco longe da cidade velha e cidade baixa. Mas o pessoal da recepção é bastante atencioso. No primeiro dia, ficamos num quarto muito pequeno no primeiro andar e pedi para mudar de quarto. Passamos para o quarto abdar e o quarto era bem mais espaçoso. O hotel é muito bom.

Trevligt hotell med vänlig personal. Ligger en liten promenad från sjävla centrum men är man rädd för att gå finns det spårvagn ca 50 meter från hotellet som går direkt in till stan. På det stora hela är vi väldigt nöjda!

Perfekt für drei Nächte im Dreibett-Zimmer. Gute Betten, Wasserkocher mit Tee im Zimmer war nett, Bad sehr klein aber ausreichend, sehr nettes Personal. Zum Frühstück kleine Wurst-/Käse-Auswahl, größeres Brot-, Brötchen und Kuchenangebot, leckerer Kaffee. Praktisch, dass ein (kostenpflichtiger) Parkplatz auf dem Hof ist, gute Straßenbahnanbindung. Im Sommer wäre uns das Hotel zu warm, es scheint sich ziemlich aufzuheizen, wie wir beim Eintreffen Mitte April gemerkt haben. War dann aber auszuhalten. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Nettes kleines Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, abwechslungsreiches Frühstückbuffet, Zimmerqualität (WC und Bad getrennt) mit guten Standard (auch mit Minibar), der kleine Aufzug war für uns kein Problem, sehr gutes WLAN, PKW kann auf abgesperrten Parkplatz vom Hotel (gegen Gebühr) abgestellt werden, mit guter Lage für Stadtbummel (wir waren ganztags überall immer nur zu Fuß unterwegs), bei Bedarf Trambahnstation ganz nah (und U Bahn Nähe). Bei Interesse kann „jederzeit“ zusätzlich direkt ums Eck noch ein Shopping Mall (Novy Smichov, beliebtes Einkaufscenter, tägl. 09.00 – 21.00 Uhr mit Foodcourt und Bowlingbahn ) mit Einkaufsbummel (auch mit großen Tesco Markt) durchgeführt werden ...... Wir kommen gerne wieder – super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis!

Stayed here five nights, and the overall experience was very positive. Nothing in luxury but the price was very good and overall standard was satisfactory. Location is certainly decent, with 5 minutes Walking to metro, and five minutes Walking to old town in the other direction. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and made taxi bookings, pointed out certain locations on the map, and more. Breakfast could have had more to offer, but the quality and composition was good. Again, for the very good price, you get a very good overall deal in terms of location, hotell staff support and comfort.

Content de notre séjour à Prague
Nous avons été content de l'hotel qui se trouve dans un quartier calme, tout proche d'un arret de tramway. Le personnel de l'accueil très bien, nous avons été bien reçu. En plus l'hotel vend les billets pour les transports. Les chambres sont spacieuse, propre, le ménage est fait tous les jours, proche de tout commerces- le seul regret c'est de ne pas avoir la climatisation dans la chambre et le petit déjeuner pas terrible. Sinon aucun regret d'avoir choisi cet hotel. Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir laisser nos valises à l'hotel le jour du départ car notre avion était en fin de journée et nous devions quitter la chambre pour 11h. Des services qui sont agréable.

Läget var bra, lite utanför centrum men nära till tunnelbana och spårvagn, Det tar ca 20 minuter att gå till gamla stan. Stort shoppingcenter i närheten. Rummet var välstädat.Sängarna var okej men någon i sällskapet tyckte att extrasängen var för hård. Tyvärr så fungerade inte kylskåpet. En liten safteybox fanns på rummet och kunde hyras dygnsvis till en kostnad av 80 Korunas samt en deposition på 500 Korunas, vilket inte framkom vid bokningen av hotellet.Toaletten var väldigt liten vilket var opraktiskt då dörren öppnades inåt.
Frukosten var helt okej för ett trestjärnigt hotell då det fanns ganska mycket att välja på. Personalen var trevlig och serviceinriktad. Bagagerum fanns att låna när man checkat ut och det var bra för de som åker ifrån Prag sent.
