It’s just a 10-minute walk from Charles Bridge and about 15 minutes from the Old Town Square. There’s also a nearby tram stop, Újezd, which is very well connected.
The room was excellent — we chose the most basic option, but it was surprisingly spacious and had everything we needed. You can store your luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Just note that reception is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Fine for a short term stay, but could be improved with a general touch up/repairs.

Pros:
Location is excellent, close to transport links and the city centre.
The staff at the desk were helpful and arranged an iron to be provided.
A good shower/bath combo with good water pressure and temperature.
Room was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Cons:
There is a lot of noise, even if you are used to it, from the street and even other rooms.
The room was tired and could be touched up - damage at bathroom door; loose tap on kitchen sink; hand soap dispenser leaked; tiles off colour in bathroom and general west and tear of the room.
Replacement towels were threadbare and one had a hole in it.
Smell from kitchen tap when used.
Loud screeching when using kitchen tap
(From the boiler perhaps?).
Double bed frame but two single mattresses that separated worse than two single beds pushed together would.

What an amazing stay from start to finish we were treated exceptionally.
I booked based on reviews and price but was a little sceptical it seemed to good to be true!
We booked the trsf ftom airport through the hotel which was perfect a lady waiting in arrivals- she took us straight to collect keys from hotel Kinsky as we were a late flight which was opposite.
Room was massive on 5th floor and only metres from the tram stop Udjed as well ( from airport you can get bus 59 and then no 20 tram which we took to go home 50 minutes and £1.50!! )
The hotel does get a little noise ftom tram but nothing that affected sleep.
Room was cleaned daily and had a brand new kitchen if needed.
Around the apartment is a couple of cafes loads of mini markets open till 1am a lovely Korean restaurant and all very reasonably priced.
We were approx 15mins to Charles Bridge walk but trams very frequent that take you everywhere .staff were so quick with any questions and allowed us to store luggage for a few hours on departure day.
All in all one of the best city breaks i have had and accommodation really made it special- if you like Jazz then jazz dock a 5minute walk and we had a great night listening to live jazz .

Apartments were in a perfect location. In a quiet neighborhood just outside of the main touristy areas. Several restaurants and shops within walking distance. Tram stops just outside the hotel made getting around the city easy. Most sights within a 15-20 min walk.

This hotel was an excellent stay in a great location! The rooms were exactly as shown in the photos, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, and they even accommodated my early check-in, which I really appreciated. We lost hot water one day, but as soon as we informed reception, they fixed it immediately. The bus stop is just five minutes away, and there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want comfort, convenience, and great service in Prague!

Very clean apartment big and spacious apartment, it came with espresso coffee which I adore, the bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a very welcomed gift.

Housekeeping came even though we were only staying for 2 night which was amazing.

Reception staff were nice and polite. Easy to check in and check out.

20minute walk to the central places to visit or a short tram ride which was perfect.

10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Prague. Location was incredible and made walking to all major attractions super easy. The apartment was spacious with lots of amenities. The taxi service to and from the airport was incredibly convenient. They made my first time in Prague easy, comfortable, and an all around amazing time. If I visit Prague again in the future, I will definitely be staying here again.

The property is in a good location within walking distance to the Old Town (about 15 mins), and is right between two tram stations. I felt fairly safe. The room was clean and spacious and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies which was useful. The common area and stairwell were not very well lit however.

Mixed experience

The accommodation has been recently refurbished and is clean and tidy. Cleaning staff come daily to service rooms. The location is good for access to the centre and Prague Castle and Petrin Hill. It is noisy though - the frequent running trams run at regular intervals day and night. The studio we stayed in was also very hot and there are no controls to enable you to adjust the temperature. A portable A/C was provided but only usable if you put up with the noise from the road. We made do with the fan provided but it would be hot in summer. Also, bizarrely, it wasn't possible to turn the kitchen light off so that had to remain on all night.

I have stayed here before a handful of times hence returning.
The room was massive which is a positive
The shower and bathroom was small, very odd space with the size of the room the bathroom can/could be bigger.
Beds made a noise every time you say or turned over.
First night we arrived late the room fire alarm battery was low so went off every 40 seconds. I reported the next morning and it was fixed

I will return as it’s a good location and safe.

The Royal Prague Apartments are a great place from which to explore Prague. They are very clean & have all the amenities for a comfortable stay with a small kitchen in each apartment. Comfortable hotel in a great location

A really lovely hotel with friendly staff and at a very reasonable price. The location is fantastic and within easy walking distance of the old town, and there are lots of great restaurants/ pubs nearby if you don’t want to walk so far. The only issue we faced was the shower was freezing cold on our first day, and it did take a bit of prompting to fix this although they very kindly sent out a plumber late on Sunday night who sorted the issue. Otherwise this is a fantastic hotel for the price which I would definitely recommend.

The hotel was clean and really central. Tye reception staff were really friendly too. It was really warm when we stayed and we were on the top floor so the apartment was uncomfortably warm. There was a plug in aircon machine but it didn’t help much. I would argue that it is not a 4 star hotel. The finishes in the room need updating and even though the room was spotless the old skirting boards and wardrobe made the room feel dirty. For the price though it was worth it

Great place to stay in Prague

The location is perfect. Historical building not directly in center, which is a big advantage - silent place without a tourist noise. On the other hand, just 20 minutes walking through a nice bridge, passing historical buildings (National Theatre) … and you are directly in the city center. Very clean buiding and rooms. Nice friendly staff. Fully esuiped kitchen, tasty coffee available … a great place to stay. When I will be back in Prague, will use it again.

Brilliant value property in fantastic location

This apartment was well situated on Mala Strana, close to Petrin (a fantastic part of Prague). All major tourist attractions were within walking distance.
The property itself was a large studio flat with two back-to-back double beds, a bathroom and a kitchenette.
It was 31 degrees the day we were there, but was tolerable due to 3 big fans being provided (there was no air conditioning).
The check in and out processes was easy and I would recommend this great value accommodation.

Great for location - walk to castle, Charles bridge, horror bar, close to shopping centre, Mexican restaurant, many other restaurants.

Only down fall which isn’t a big issue is that the shower head didn’t stay in position you had to hold but we all got by doing this.

The family room was amazing, great fully furnished and equipped kitchenette, although we didn’t use it I think you would comfortably cook easy family meal.
The beds were big in size but squeaky, the extra small bed was super uncomfortable we ended up not using it, and all 5 of us squeezed onto 2 double beds.
We could not for life of us figure out the wall mounted air condition, the autonomous self standing one was horribly loud and didn’t do its job… the room was sooo hot, 25 degrees Celsius is really hard to sleep in. As the building facade was being renovated, we could not open the windows and the covers were making a sound in the wind and it was quite dusty from outside.
Apart from that, super clean, great communication with the reception and others (we were checking in and out after hours so had to do it all without the physical reception opened but was easy and again the comms were great - staff reachable via email and phone with prompt replies, can’t fault them at all)
Overall nice stay but all we needed was comfortable sleep and we didn’t get that unfortunately.

Worst experience ever! The hotel false advertised they have “ onsite parking”, nope! The parking they want us to park is about 15 mins away in a subway station or 12 mins drive in Praha 7!!! The apartment had bugs on the bed and the sheet wasn’t clean. And there’s no such thing as sound proof. I can’t hear my neighbors phone buzzing next door and their full conversations. I couldn’t sleep till 2 am because the neighbor got home and was talking in normal volumne. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!

At the reception, the hotel was about to charge us more than the price indicated in Expedia, fortunately we checked it before payment. In the room, the description of room amenities weren’t correct. Examples; there is no washing machine, no coffee maker or machine, not enough dishes, dining chairs leg broken, electrical fuse fall down each time we tried to use hair dryer, microwave or electric kettle so you should plan how to use them. The parking was at 20mins by walking so it wasn’t convenient for car travellers. Finally, the hotel will be nice for backpackers but not for family travellers.

Great time at th Royal Prague City Apartments, the room was spacious and offered good amenities, especially a big kitchen which is nice if you want to cook yourself (fridge, boiler, stove, oven) and the place was well cleaned. I also like the soap dispenser, more practical than giving out microscopic samples.
The two main downsides for me were the internet connection which was okayish (40mb down, 12 up) but quite unreliable with loss of speed fairly often and as I was trying to work from there all day I had to rely on my 4G most of the day for calls.
Also there was a table where I could set up but the chair was not comfortable at all and the table rather small, in terms of remote work it's not ideal.
If you don't plan on working though I can fully recommend it, and the staff was lovely.

I stayed 3 nights here. The apartment is nice and the location is great. It's very close to all the sightseeing. The only problem is they didn't clean the room everyday so the rubbish bin in the room is full and I have to tell the lady in the front office to clean the rubbish bin. Other than that everything else is ok.

This place was pretty nice! The location's fantastic (pretty much everything's walkable) and rooms are quite spacious. The furnishings aren't the newest but they're well-maintained enough and there's a cute aesthetic that looks like it's had some thought put into it.

The only real con was the noise level. The building's old and admittedly quite beautiful, and it has the soundproofing you'd expect, i.e. none whatsoever. The traffic from outside's one thing, but I think I was under a stairwell or something, so the amount of stomping overhead in the middle of the night was a bit disruptive.

The place isn't bad. I paid for a superior room and felt like I got the same basic room which is a bit frustrating. There was also a bit of paint smell when we arrived but it got better after the 2nd day.

Overall the location is great and it's a decent price for what it offers, fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities, can't really complain.

The rooms were very spacious and well equipped very easy to find. It was very clean and staff were super friendly. With us arriving late directions were sent for us to be able to collect our keys directions were very clear and helpful, helped us have the most wonderful trip

Very poor bed was so uncomfortable, then we asked for 2 pillows since you only get one flat pillow each and we only got another one. The apartment itself is really nice but the bed lets it down so much, also it was really hot in there for February so I imagine in summer this place is really uncomfortably hot.

Had a two bedroom top floor that was quiet and warm. Ceiling was a bit low in spots but having kitchenette and refrigerator came in handy. Receptionist “V” was excellent and helped us w many questions about Prague and ordered a Taxi to the airport day in advance. Location easy walk to castle and old town. Artic Bakery around the corner is excellent and other restaurants very good.

During our 3 night stay in this hotel, we had many problems. Upon entering the room, we realised that we had been given a room with 2 single beds which we were not happy with as we had requested a double bed. The pictures do not look anything like it does in real life so don’t trust the images on show.
After unpacking our luggage and settling into the room, we realised there was NO hot water and NO central heating meaning we were unable to have a hot shower and get ready and head out into the city. Beds were very uncomfortable, pillows even worse, luckily had a travel pillow and used that for the duration of my stay.
Blinds didn't shut off sunlight which kept me awake all night, every night. Wi-Fi didn’t work, connection was terrible, resorted to my own Wi-Fi on my phone in the end. TV satellite was atrocious and screen kept going fuzzy so couldn’t even relax watching the tv before going to sleep.Hairdryer was awful, May as well of just been blowing air out my mouth on my body after my cold shower, would’ve been more powerful and would’ve worked better. Safe in the room didn’t work. Room key was annoying, struggled to lock the door when leaving, and struggled to re-enter.
Wasn’t far from main attractions, 20 min walk to the Square but if I was to come again definitely wouldn’t stay in this hotel again. Maids let themselves into the room even though we didn’t leave signal on door.
Disappointed but luckily was only ever in the room when getting ready to go out or to sleep
