Good value for cost. My room was very spacious, but I will note that it was very chilly -- I assume they are keeping the heating low right now due to the current energy problems in Europe. The room included a kitchen with plenty of cookware which makes it a good place for longer stays. There are a few grocery items for purchase in the lobby, and they also have a daily breakfast that you can add-on (I think it was 15 Euros per day) which had coffee and juice, pastries, eggs, yogurt, cheese and bread, fruit, cereal. I wish the breakfast had more hot meal options, but for me, it was still worth it since the place is a little far from any restaurants (~15-20 minute walk down the hill). Walking down the hill to the main village area is easy, but going north, up the hill, is harder. I was headed to the CEA Paris-Saclay and had to go up many stairs through a forest. The location of this residence is most useful if you have a car. Lastly, the front desk staff were great, I really appreciate them going above and beyond to help me out.

A very clean set of rooms with everything that you could need in a very convenient place near to the university. It’s a good half hour walk into the village but not a difficult one. The walk to the university is up a very steep hill - you’ll be very fit once you’ve done it a few times!

Nice but a bit isolated

On its own, this was a a very pleasant hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and are basically small apartments with kitchenettes, so are suitable for longer stays when you might want to store some food and do some cooking. Also, the breakfast is somewhat small but still nice. The main disadvantage of the hotel was its location. This is a very quiet area near the university campus, but outside of business hours the area is dead. The nearest restaurants are about half an hour's walk away and most most of the walking routes require taking non-illuminated paths for at least some sections. The vicinity to the university is nice, but the location is cumbersome when going out for dinner in particular.

Great place for all types of travellers. Great facilities in the room. Since it is a \"Residhome\" the room is not serviced every day, but about once a week, but cleaning supplies are provided. It is a good compromise for the price and location. Walking distance to the train and centre of town.

The hotel is in a rural area, there were no close cafes, shops or restaurants. Tried to order food from the menu's in the room, first place called didn't speak any English, limited choices, it was ok for just the night but wouldn't want to do a multiple night stay.

There wasn't any wash clothes, just hand towels and bath towels, wonder if its a French thing not to use wash clothes....

Location was fantastic--close to the University of Paris-Sud, walking distance from Bures-sur-Yvette RER station, in a very quiet, attractive spot. The room was well-furnished room with a good desk to work at, excellent bathroom with some nice features like a towel warmer. The bed was a fold-out sofa and slightly uncomfortable, but still good enough for a good night's sleep for a few nights. I'd highly recommend staying here!

Did'nt realise our room would not be serviced at all - while staying for 6 nights - we were not willing to pay extra for cleaning - so didn't like having to ask for toilet rolls and black bin bags - kitchenette was useful but crockery pans etc were very sparse - reception was very helpful though - village not really within walking distance - an interesting experience - but wouldn't go back

We booked A 2 bedroom apartment but were given a 1 bedroom apartment with no compensation. The hotel advertised free parking - there was no parking available! The apartment was nice but it wasn't a 2 bedroom - so we were not very happy.

Apartment hotel in a remote place

The Residhome hotel is located on outskirts of civilization next to the forested hills and Orsay University campus. It's about 15 minutes from a RER station, which is 40 minutes to Paris proper. The best thing about the room is that it's studio aparment, with a small kitchenette. Internet is fast, and there is a laundry machine for extra price; supermarket is in 25 minutes of walking. An ideal place if you are visiting Orsay.

Good place for a short or longer stay.

This is a really good place to stay if you are visiting, Orsay, Gif or Bures-sur-Yvette. It provides all the advantages of a holiday style apartment with a hotel. There is wifi in all the rooms and a TV with English speaking channels. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the hotel has someone on reception who can speak English and is happy to assist you. There are toiletries provided and there is the option of having a good continental breakfast for 10 euros.

The room was very clean and had a small kitchen with microwave oven, fridge, crockery, and basically all the essantials. However, be aware that there is no baking oven (if you want to have a pizza for instance). A supermarket is located close to the La Hacquinière RER B stop (from the campus, first follow the river Yvette westwards, cross a road with a small roundabout, then through a residential area after which you turn left, the supermarket is on your right after a couple of minutes). Unfortunately, there is no way of getting decent coffee except if you buy breakfast for 10 Euros (not counting instant coffee which can be prepared in the room). All staff were friendly and even if you don't speak a single word of French, communication was never an issue.

I was here for 5 nights regarding my work at CEA saclay. The hotel is nice and well maintained. I had absolutely no problem during my stay. The only small inconvenience i had was hotel location. I had to walk from Bur-sur-Yvette station to the hotel on weekends while on weekdays there was shuttle service to the Le guichet station from the hotel. Hotel is nice. No hidden charges. Wifi and all services mentioned works and all are for free (except the breakfast). The hotel also has a luggage rooms so u can keep ur luggage after the check out. I was surprised to see a small kitchen in my room which helped me to cook my own food. Overall stay was pleasant and trouble-less.

Very nice hotel, but you must have a car

Nice hotel, good service, comfortable room. Breakfast is not worth the price, but the rooms have a kitchen so you can make your own. The main inconvenience is the location, too far to walk to the RER train station. You really need your own transport to stay in this hotel.

Lekker hotel voor op doorreis. Helaas geen airco, dus op hele hete dagen zal het niet prettig zijn. Gelukkig is er wel een ventilator om een beetje verkoeling te brengen. Super aardige personeel, doet hard z'n best en staat iedereen zeer professioneel bij.

Mais en réalité, l'établissement m'a fait payé la taxe ville, plus la taxe départemental, ainsi que les taxes du Grand Paris et Ile de France Mobilité soit 20,80 au lieu des 3,20 euros indiqués sur ma réservation.

J'ai grandement apprecié l'environnement de la residence hôtelière.
Un grand parc arboré, la forêt qui nous environne, le centre ville à moins de 10 minutes à pied, les commerces de proximités. Compter 15 minutes pour rejoindre la gare RER.
Des sentiers de randonnée balisés sont immédiatement accessibles à la sortie de l'hôtel.
Les studios sont bien insonorisés, la chambre est propre.
La salle de bain reste spacieuse et propre, des serviettes supplémentaires sont disponibles à la réception si besoin.
Attention à l'espace cuisine. Le descriptif de l'hôtel précise bien qu'il s'agit d'une kitchenette : absence de four, de marmitte, 2 feux de cuissons, petit compartiment congélateur.
Toutefois, bouilloire et cafetiere électrique sont mis à la disposition de la clientèle.
Internet en WiFi satisfaisant pour travailler ou visionner un film via plateforme VOD.
Deux parkings gratuits se situent au sein de la residence, egalement le stationnement en sous sol (payant).
Les chambres au dernier etage sont les mieux placées avec exposition au nord et vue sur la forêt ou exposition sud et vue sur le parc.

Les consignes données n'ont pas été respectées à savoir avoir une chambre au calme, comme il faisait très chaud nous avons enlever la couette de la housse et là grosse surprise une grosse tâche de sang !!!! Nous avons réussi à changer de chambre et à avoir une chambre donnant sur le jardin, au calme, par contre, toujours parce qu'il faisait chaud nous avons dormi la fenêtre ouverte mais le jardin est éclairé comme à Versailles !!!! bonjour la nuit !!! Il faudrait qu'il y ai la climatisation dans la chambre.

Une belle découverte

Première visite dans cet hôtel, deux chambres réservées. L'appart-hotel est très agréable, relativement spacieux, petite bouteille d'eau dans le frigo, café, thé, madeleine, TV, accueil excellent, environment plutôt calme. Je me permets un commentaire dans l'espoir de résoudre le seul problème rencontré, celui du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est trop cher pour ce que c'est, 12 euros pour des tartines pré-tranchées desséchées, un seul choix de jus de fruit artificiel (l'autre était en panne), des petites viennoiseries pas fraîches et le reste. Un autre hôtel proche donne plus de choix, tout chaud et frais, et pour moins cher. Autre chose. J'ai dû attendre 5 longues minutes avant de m'assoir, parce que ce n'était pas prêt. Et l'on m'a dit où m'assoir, je n'avais pas le choix !

Certaines chambres donnent à quelques mètres de la petite rue où stationnent les cars. Vous avez donc droit aux embarquements matinaux de plusieurs dizaines de personnes plutôt bruyantes qui n'ont rien à faire de votre sommeil. Fâcheux.

Mon regret, mais on ne peut tout avoir, ne pas pouvoir prendre mon petit déjeuner dans la chambre, quitte à aller le chercher et redescendre les plateaux ... mais j'étais en villégiature et avais le droit à la paresse.
9H30, c'est trop tôt pour les flemmards. Finalement, j'ai pris un seul petit déjeuner et mon compagnon 0 alors que nous espérions en prendre 12 ...

The hotel located in a remote area, it takes about 15mins walks to the nearest RER B station. Overall, its comfortable to stay, quiet and clean. Good for business visit to the Univ Paris Scalay. However, the hotel manage to host bus loads tourist groups almost daily, it can be bothersome because some tourists were loud or even smoking in the room or hallways. Wifi signal was weak, intermittent.

Les chambres côté route sont assez bruyantes et l'espace pdj est vraiment trop petit et malheureusement avec une qualité moindre. Pas de restaurant mais plusieurs possibilités sont proposées.

l'hotel est très bien, au calme, il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Le petit déjeuner est copieux tout y est proposé dans le salé ou le sucré. Nous retournerons certainement dans cet hôtel pour un plus long séjour.

Hôtel un peu loin du RER quand on arrive à pied de nuit sous la pluie.
Une navette gratuite est proposée le matin vers la gare du guichet. Dommage que le chauffeur soit aimable comme une porte de prison... de qui contraste bien avec le reste de l'équipe.

Hotel au calme proche Fac

Je n'ai pas pris de petit-déjeuner car assez cher
Plat traiteur commandé n'était pas terrible
Salle de bain chauffé à l'arrivée et un petit café ou thé mis à disposition dans la chambre
Dans l'ensemble propre et pas mal agencé pour travailler
Rien n'a redire sur le personel

Une agréable surprise

J'ai été agréablement surprise par l'accueil et l'état de l'hôtel surtout que je n'avais pas compris qu'il s'agissait d'un studio. La prochaine fois j'y resterai je pense plus longtemps. Seul bémol le parking gratuit peu de places et l'accès avec les bagages est peu pratique. Mais j'imagine que l'accès par le parking payant est plus pratique.

réservé pour passer des concours à Supélec, à 20 minutes de marche à travers bois en pente !
cher mais mieux que les logements à Supélec que j'ai réussi à avoir ensuite.

Impeccable mais cher

Hôtel impeccable mais prix élevé par rapport aux services réellement rendus. Difficulté de se garer.
