The room was fine. Nothing fancy but clean. Bed comfortable. A/C not very good Bathroom /shower/towels good.
Just not much there ... more of a family type of place. Lots of kids. fairly basic. isolated area.. nowhere to walk. Had to pay for electric charge for electric car. Just a basic place to sleep. I wouldn't stay there again

The hotel is amazing for families. There is a swimming pool, mini golf, football, petanque and a small climbing frame outside. Inside there are lots of wooden table top games to play as well as table football - all free. My girls (9 & 11) absolutely loved it. It was an overnight stop for us but we spent the afternoon at the hotel and had a brilliant time. The restaurant was also great. I would highly recommend staying here.

4 nights stay here was comfortable and pleasant. Staff are friendly and helpful. Limited menu at the restaurant but the food was good. WiFi is now and the room itself was comfortable and tidy.

A fantastic stay at Novotel!

We are a family with two kids, we stayed in the family rooom at the hotel for two nights. The room, although not very huge, was extremely clean and modern. Provided with a very comfortable king size bed and a sofa bed which was converted into two single beds. There was a large screen smart TV, a small fridge and other accessories to make tea or coffee. Toilet and the bathroom were exceptionally clean and modern. The main attraction for kids was the XBOX, football table and toys in the lobby area which was a big comfort for families. We could easily let our kids play there since they were right in front of the main hotel reception. There is also a pool, a bbq area and a table tennis outdoor, which we couldn’t use because we were there at the new year hence very cold. But in the summer the hotel will be a great place for a picnic without going out anywhere.

In terms of location, the hotel is a bit outside the main Paris city, it is easily around 30-40 minutes drive from the city Centre. If you are driving then it is absolutely not a problem. There is also a RER station around 10-15 minutes drive away, where you can park your car (paid parking) and take the train to Paris. The station has line B & C there which connect you to the main city. We didn’t use then because of the ongoing train strike, train service was extremely limited. We drove to Paris without any problems, although you have to be patient with the busy traffic and busy parking spaces. Overall a fantastic stay!

Really nice clean rooms, free secure parking. The mattress was great quality so had a really good night sleep. The only down thing is the restaurant has very limited choice on their menu so had to go out for a meal.

Not the most exciting of locations, but we were there for a reason. Place eas pleasant enough. Lovely grounds & the pool was also useful. Shame there were no cushions on the sun lounges, made them extremely uncomfortable. Fiid was also ok. You would only stay here if you need to be in the area i suppose, as quite industrial.

Arrived at the hotel late in the evening, my Uber dropped me on the street because the gate was closed. I buzzed the desk manager could not locate my reservation, would not permit to enter. It took about 10 minuets before he allowed me access to the hotel lobby. The system was updating, taking approximately another 45 minuets. No apologies, no key to my room, he escorted me. I requested the lift, he insisted the stairs were better. I had a 50 pound bag, a backpack, and another shopping bag. No offer to assist, he just walked up ahead of me with no interest of service.

At the room he apologized, after I requested a late checkout, he said he would tell the day desk manager to offer breakfast free. None of his words were true! Coming down at 11:30 am, I was informed checkout was 11:00, I requested a later checkout which was granted. No free meal. When I explained the occurrence, all I received was the desk manager shrugging her shoulders and I’m sorry!

Hotel was nice in a small village near Paris and Versailles. Took 45mins to get to Disneyland.
Room was comfy and the outdoor area had stuff to do for the kids. There were a few flies around in the restaurant area. But nowhere else in the hotel.

Paris stop off

We stayed for two nights to explore Paris. The gentleman on reception, I think his name was Antione, helped us find train times for going into Paris and which stations we would need to get on and off for the various attractions we wanted to visit. The facilities for children were excellent, lots to keep them busy such as table tennis, tennis courts, mini golf, table football, boules and of course the swimming pool. The rooms were very clean and shower was great. The hotel is situated out of the way so if you want the facilities to walk to this is not the hotel for you but for a base to Paris it’s great. It took us approx 15 mins to drive to the train station then another 15 to get to the Eiffel Tower. Fares on the metro are very cheap so no point in driving car into the city and paying parking charges. We spent a whole day in Paris and the car parking at the train station was only €13 so a bargain.

Bad experience with the receptionniste

The room are good even if I’m not a huge fan of the feeling of the mattress. Foam aspect. Bad experience one day as they disactivate my room key to make come to the reception to ask me to pay the room service I had the nights before, they ask me to pay immediately. I was staying for 4 more days… they treat you like you are a thief or something.

Fantastic Service

Chose this hotel for it's proximity to Versailles and it proved to be an ideal base for this, our family room was typical of the Novotel Hotels but had fresher and more contemporary décor than other Novotel's we have stayed at and the amenity's were excellent with a good sized swimming pool that the kids loved plus various other outdoor activities, (Table Tennis, mini golf, etc.). The kids commented that the beds provided for the family room were more comfortable than in other hotels as they weren't the typical fold out extra beds usually added to make up the numbers.
What really stood out during our visit though was the friendly and helpful staff, from the great service provided by the reception staff through to friendly greetings from staff we encountered in the corridor we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Will definitely be looking to stay here again when next in the area.

I booked this hotel specifically because it had a gym and a swimming pool. It was 25km away from where I was working so I had options! I was disgusted to see the pool being renovated when I arrived. During a workout in the gym the power failed.....
Out side of that it was OK but I wouldn't be rushing back based on the pool and gym experience.

Handy for Paris and Versailles

We (two adults and two small children - and our small dog) stayed here for three nights. We used the hotel as a base for our trips to Paris, Versailles and surrounding areas using both our own transport and the railway. Staff are very friendly and attentive both on reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen in a hotel chain in France and in fact tops most buffets I've been to in this price class. A wide range of breakfast foods well presented and of good quality. Rooms are clean and tidy and were kept that way during our stay.

Fantastic hotel

We had an overnight stay here on our journey to the South of France and on our return. As a family of 5 we stayed in two connecting rooms. Fantastic hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Children loved the pool on our return journey when weather was very hot. Great location, nice and quiet but only a short drive to motorways. Huge choice at breakfast for everyone. Rooms clean and spacious even with sofa bed in use. Would highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay or longer. Will definitely be booking again for next year.

My choice every time for West Paris Area

A colleague and I booked 2 rooms for a local business meeting. The location of this hotel, on the edge to the charming village of saclay with it's bars and restaurants.
A good, efficient hotel, good restaurant and bar. outside pool and a really pleasant feel. Though close to major roads, we had a pleasant, calm and quiet walk around.

Nice hotel, close to other main cities

Our stay in Novotel was fantastic, on arrival the staff were very welcoming and had good customer service, it is a very nice place for families to visit as there were many things that the children could do, for example swimming or playing golf, it was also in a quiet, and peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of Paris, but only 30 minutes to drive there.

Proximity to Versailles is excellent. Very easily located. The pool is a nice touch and we enjoyed a dip. The staff were very helpful. just a note: the picture is not the hotel- it is another building in the village. The hotel looks like any other chain hotel with a very nice entrance area.

Good dog-friendly hotel

Ideal for a one-night stop on the way to or from somewhere. Standard Novotel room - clean and with functional bathroom and comfortable bed. Decent breakfast buffet. Limited evening menu with no surprises.
Perfect exercising field for humans and energetic dogs - just make sure you clean up any mess, which sadly not everyone does.
All staff were pleasant and helpful. Free wifi worked. Too early in the year to test the outdoor swimming pool.

The best Accor hotel we have stayed in and we have

Absolutely excellent again. Our 2nd visit within 4 weeks. Arrived to a warm greeting, nice room and an important reminder the clocks were going back an hour. We had completely forgotten after our long journey. We haven't eaten in the hotel, as we tend to drive the short distance to Orsay for dinner . But all the facilities in the hotel, including the extensive gardens and pool area are very clean, tidy and well cared for. The staff are well trained , couldn't be more helpful. We are booked to return in June and look forward to our 3rd visit to both the hotel and village immensely.

Stay was great. Reception staff could not be more helpful. Room good size, quiet with interior door separating bedroom from hotel room door. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful, large and well maintained hotel garden at rear with pool . Very pet friendly. Hotel very secure with security gates allowing access. So good returning on our return end of March for another night . Nearby town , Orsay, has various eating places if you feel like getting out and about locally and Saclay has a friendly Tabac, serving good coffee, if you feel like a stroll round this French village.

Great hotel for Paris stop-over

This was a fantastic hotel. Price was great (we got a discount for booking ahead of time via Expedia). The hotel itself and the rooms were lovely. Secure parking. Friendly staff. Lots of things for the kids to do (swimming pool, mini golf, table tennis, games console etc.) and all for free. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, and the overall ambiance was relaxed and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Met our basic needs

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had to stay in this area of my husband's program at HEC and needed to be close to campus. The room was clean and met our basic needs, white walls, no real decor, plenty of room, but nothing extraordinary and certainly a contrast to the other 3 hotels we stayed at with more character, more decor, and amenities. The shower/tub was a little strange One problem we had is the lack of irons in the hotel. We needed to iron clothes wrinkled in our luggage for business school and were told that they had a some but guests had borrowed them and had no idea when they would be returned to the front desk. I asked for an iron about 3-4 times in a 18 hr period, and finally got one. If you are wanting to travel to Paris, be prepared to walk miles or have a rental car to get to the RER.

Nice location on the outskirts

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet village, albeit with security gates to come and go (so there may have been issues in the past). Nice room and very comfortable. My main gripe would be about meals. Breakfast is overpriced at €15 continental and other meals are a rip off too. There is a decent pizza restaurant in the village but otherwise you are left with decisions on where to eat. That said I would return

Great hotel for a family to stay

Two adults and two children stayed in this hotel. The pullout couch turned into two separate twin beds, which was perfect for our kids. We stayed in this hotel for our one day visit to Paris. It was about a 30 minute drive into the city, but still was pretty convenient, and much better for the price than staying in the city for us. Lots of things to do for the kids there. Would stay there again.

2 night stay before starting at HEC

A 30 year old but recently refurbished hotel is located on the premises of a former farm. There are 3 floors, the stairs are right by the reception but the only elevator is at the other end of the building making it a bit inconvenient to move heavy luggage.

The lobby looks new and fresh.

The room (a double bed and a sofa) was spacious and looked clean but at a closer examination I noticed a shell of a dead unharmful bug 1.5cm long on the carpet in the middle of the room. It was still there the next day after the cleaning.

Bathroom also had surprises. I filled the bathtub, but when some 20 minutes later I stepped in excited to get a hot bath after a tiring day the bathtub was empty. Apparently the plug was leaking and on my notice next day housekeeping fixed it.

When I called the reception around 2am and asked for an iron and iron board I was prompted to come down and pick them up myself.

The hotel staff was helpful with directions around the hotel but not much with restaurants. There are none in Saclay, and concierge told me she had not been to those few more distant restaurants which they have on file.

There is an internet corner - one Mac - and a gaming corner - one Xbox console - by the reception.

Free Wireless Internet is available in rooms and lobby. Login from PC was fine, but my ipod kept asking me to login every 10-15 minutes, which was inconvenient.

The lobby restaurant – I ordered organic chicken and a salad plate – was fine.

Far from Paris

Hotel was a standard Novotel...businesslike, efficient, impersonal. Location is far from Paris, even with a car. Would never eat in a hotel restaurant, but options are extremely limited otherwise. After a fruitless search, had to resort to a picnic dinner at the supermarket. Price however was very good...you can't beat business hotels at the weekend for that. Would be great for an overnight stopover but not as a base for Paris. And eat before you arrive!

I stayed twice here on the way and way back from the south of France. The first night was ok, but the restaurant did not provide me with a childs menu so was not aware that there was one. There was nothing on the menu suitable for my daughter so had to go out to the local shop to buy food for her. The second time was a worse, the keys given to my room which was quite a long walk did not work 3 times, in the end the lady let us into her room with her own master key card and we had to go back to her every time we needed to go back into our room which she huffed and puffed about. Our room was not provided with a room service menu, so we had to go down to the restaurant (as the local shop was closed) where we were offered the Childs menu which in this time was ok for my baby. Hotel was ok, main problems were with key cards, restaurant and staff attitude (although the receptionist who met us on the first night was a lovely man).

The staff were very pleasant and very polite. Although the room was a little on the hot side, due to faulty or inoperative air conditioning. The hotel was also undergoing maintainance on the ground floor so axcess wasnt easy, including the route to the hotel for which after a long drive was quite annoying that fact there was no diversions to help us. Could of been better, but a satisfactory stay, with free and easy to use Wifi which was simple to axcess. But all in all not a bad hotel with nice staff..

Building work in progress

When checking in at 1:00pm we were advised that our room was on level 2 and that there was some ongoing buiding work on the floor 1 which would finish at 6:00pm each day. We were surprised to find that the builders were working on the same floor including in the room next door, there were hammering noises coming through the wall and equipment and mess in the hallways etc. On the plus side both Versails and central Paris were both easily reached by road.

Great family hotel - Novotel

For an overnight stopover to see Versailles before heading home, it was fantastic. The facilities suited our 9 & 6 year old boys superbly - Xbox 360 in reception, mini-golf, pool, tennis court, table tennis, . It was absolutely ideal. Only marked maintenance as a 4 as they were doing some sort of re-decoration at the time which can only mean the hotel is getting better!

You will need a car to stay at this hotel. Its located in a residential area with limited access to public transportation. It is a great location if you are on a budget and planning a trip into Paris and Versailles. It has plenty of parking. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant as it is over priced and the food was not that great.

Wonderful. Would stay again.

I had a late check in and the staff were very helpful.This was the best place I stayed in my 2 weeks vacation as I was travelling over similar star rated hotels in france and swiss.
The staff were friendly and seemed to be very kid friendly( I was not travelling with kids) Thinking hard what reasonable negatives I came across...hmmm nothing.

The place is 20 - 30 minutes from Eiffel tower. But if you have a car getting to paris is not a big deal.
I would definitely stay in this hotel than in cramped rooms in central Paris.

Did not sample the breakfast as I got up late and drove into Paris for brunch.

Hard to Find - Nice When Found

Our stay was short, just overnight. Perfectly satisfactory. Do your homework carefully to find it validly, however, so you can enjoy it hours sooner. The location is not very close to Versailles, although it might be a very nice place as a base, being in a tiny village.

Good place for families. If you are stying here you obviously will have a car. U are really close to Versailles and you can drive to le guichet or orczy train station very quickly to get to Paris. The parking was free. Always a plus. Very friendly. The pool looked really nice. A bit cool for us to go for abdipnin mid may though. Never got a chance to see if there were restaurants close to the hotel. Very small and quaint town.

We stayed here on the way south, stopping off to visit Versailles. 15 mins drive, very easy. Hotel was a pleasant surprise. I have had very bad experiences with Novotel (DO NOT STAY AT LIMOGES!!!) but this one had helpful staff, decent food, clean rooms and a nice mini golf and pool for the children. It was a bargain for 2 adults/2 children - excellent value if you have a car and can drive to Versailles. Highly recommended for an overnight stay.

But there were no outlets that worked in the room. We had to unplug the tv to charge our phones and use our laptop.

Also I am a real stickler for cleanliness and the room was spotless but the carpet in the lobby and stairs was dirty and worn. Most people don't care about that stuff but it made my first impression one that said \"Old and dated, maybe dirty\" The room again, was great.

They need someone at the front desk who is more fluent in English. We had a terrible time trying to communicate our outlet problem and ended up having a guest translate for us.

We had hoped to do laundry while we were there but there was no laundry facilities available. The desk staff offered to do our laundry for us. We accepted and it was washed dried folded in an hour and they asked for 10 euros which we gratefully paid. The maid did it for us on her own time.

That is personal service.

Nice hotel near Paris

We stayed here for a stop-over while heading back to The Netherlands from the south of France. The hotel has a nice pool, and many attractions for kids in the area surrounding the pool and restaurant. Good value for money.

Hôtel et resto sympa

Il y aurait 10 étoiles concernant le personnel, je mettrai 10 .
Aussi bien à l'accueil, au bar, au restaurant et au personnel de chambre. Mais vraiment un bonus pour le petit dej, avec produits de qualité, le restaurant est bon et varié à un prix très abordable pour l'originalité de l'assiette.
Le cadre extérieur est agréable mais je n'ai pu en profiter en raison de la météo.
La seule remarque, qui est vraiment tirée par les cheveux, c'est la taille du lit et un matelas trop mou.
Le bureau à l'intérieur de la chambre ainsi que le fauteuil sont très agréables pour travailler.
je retiens cet hôtel pour mes prochaines déplacements

Séjours pour visite de famille. Accueil très pro et agréable.
