The highlight of our day was the exceptional service from staff. When we arrived for check-in, we were greeted with a hot cup of tea which was perfect on a cold Taipei day.
The room was cozy and had a very large bed. The water pressure of the shower was excellent.
It was a 10 minute walk from the airport MRT station. And there are two convenience stores downstairs from the hotel.
The hotel only has three elevators which meant during peak hours we had to wait a long time for an elevator.

Location was prime at Taipei main station but the room was small, and bed was very firm. It is a very large hotel and waiting for the elevators took awhile especially during breakfast hours. A nice perk the hotel offered was a complimentary drink at their cafe.

Great 8-night stay! The location is very convenient and the housekeeping is top-notch. The hotel runs smoothly overall, but the only downside is the elevator situation—it can get very crowded, and I once had to wait for three turns just to get in. Still a solid choice for value, just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak hours.

What a great find. Right next to Taipei Main Station (exit M3) and perfect if you’re coming to or from the airport.
Really welcoming and a great room with excellent amenities including air con, a dehumidifier and fridge.
I had a huge jacuzzi bath and Japanese style toilet seat ;-)
The breakfast buffet is superb with a huge choice of western and local foods.
If I hadn’t already booked another non-refundable hotel for when I head back to Taipei, I’d stay here again. Thank you!

We’ve booked three rooms for our family. We all arrived on 3 different days and requested 3 different types of rooms. Front desk staff were super helpful to put us all on same floor and that is so convenient for us.
The decor is kind of outdated but clean. Breakfasts were very delicious and good variety . All buffet staff were very efficient and never ran out of good food.

So great! The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The service blew us away. We called the front desk to ask where we could get ice, and they sent us a bucket of ice and bottled water within 2 minutes. The location is excellent. 1000% Recommended!!

The hotel is right next to exit M3 from Main Station. Easy. Not the nicest area of Taipei but felt safe and it was ok. There are better areas. It was convenient

Beware - the main photo shown in Hotels.c is NOT the Cosmos Hotel. It is the station. Don’t be confused. Their photo is not accurate.

The hotel is very classical. Room was clean. Good space for putting our cases etc. Good shower.

The corridor smelt dreadful. Maybe a cleaning material that we are not used to or maybe old carpets. I don’t know. Some days were worse than others.

Breakfast was fine. Good selection of Asian but also fried or scrambled eggs.

The hotel is very old and dated. Cleanliness is below expectations for a 4 or 5 star hotel. There was a drain fly in the bathroom and the carpet floor looked dirty but bedroom slippers were provided. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Quick check in and check out. Friendly staff. Very good location if you travel by train or tour group from main train station. Rooms small but clean. Deco and vibe of the hotel were more local and seemed dated. Breakfast had international options but clear highlights were the local / Asian options. If you have no or little exposure to Asia, opt for a different accommodation

Hotel Cosmos has a best location in town. It is at exit M3 at the Taipei Main Station. It is basically on top of the blue and red MRT lines. The breakfast spread was better than I had imagined. We weren't bothered by having a room without windows. The bathroom flooded one night. The staff worked on the clogged pipe in the next room before we were aware of the issue. We will definitely stay here again in the future especially because of the location and the breakfast.

I reserved two different rooms for my family, a triple room and a room with two double beds. The rooms were clean and the check in was fast. Overall the stay was very convenient being located next to Taipei main station. Neighboring the hotel is Family Mart and 7-eleven so buying a i-Pass transportation card was very easy.

Cons: Room walls are very thin and a lot of noise can be heard in the room, both from neighbours on the same floor, the lift shaft and also from inconsiderate guests directly above clomping around on their floora.

Hotel was old Chinese style, but was really clean with updated modern amenities. Bed and pillows were perfect and breakfast was superb for the price! They are also very understanding and customer oriented when they let us have a late checkout when I needed more rest recovering from stomach flu.

The hotel has a good location right next to Taipei train station. however, dont expect anything from the hardware stand point. the hotel is very old. it's good enough for just sleep one night for layover is you want to save money. The picture looks nice but everything looks out dated. They want to save the world environment by not providing you anything. no soap just some cheap shampoo....i will not come back.

3rd time returning to the hotel for our entire trip to Taiwan. No regrets for booking this hotel 3 nights different date stay for our entire trips. Luggage are safely stored when we check out and retrieve it back when we return back to the hotel, breakfast are good. Super convenient in transportation, easily access to Metro, Local Train, HSR and Airport Express. Will stay here again when visiting Taiwan again.

Very classy and elegant hotel, where I had a nice and large room, with good facilities. Breakfast selection was unusual (to a Westerner), but wide choice and perfectly nice. I had some free coffee vouchers for the ground floor coffee shop, which did the most amazing rose lattes. The surrounding area was very safe (as is all of Taipei) and the main station is only a few yards away. Great place to stay if you are visting for the first time.

Staff was courteous and the location was very convenient right next to the main terminal. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a one night layover. The room was overall quiet from street noise but you could hear everything in the hall and there was a bit of a smell I couldn't get over but not too bad. There was a wide selection for breakfast and it was maybe the biggest hotel breakfast buffet I've ever seen. I would stay here again but don't think I would choose it if I were here for a whole week.

My wife and I stayed in the Cosmos Hotel for one night whilst on our way to another part of Taiwan by train. The hotel has the big advantage of being close to the main Taipei station, within easy walking distance. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

This property has the best location next to the main train station . Direct train from the airport then upstairs to the hotel. It is an older style hotel but speck and span. Staff were very nice and I would stay there next time I visit Taipei

My family and I have just concluded a wonderful stay with you, split between two periods (October 10th-12th and October 14th-17th, 2025), and we were so impressed that we had to share our gratitude.

A special and heartfelt thank you must go to your outstanding Housekeeping team. The care and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Specifically, we would like to commend Miss Chen Shu Sheng, who managed our Room 0919 for the first part of our stay. Her work was impeccable. We also extend our sincere thanks to Miss Tian Xiao Lang, who took over so seamlessly for the second leg of our trip. Both ladies maintained our room to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort, making it a true \"home away from home.\" It is always a pleasure to see your housekeeping staff whenever we are in Taipei.

Beyond the exceptional housekeeping, the hotel's strategic location is a massive advantage for families. Being within easy reach of the High-Speed Rail, Railway, and Bus/MRT stations made navigating the city with our kids and elderly parents an absolute breeze.

Our appreciation extends to every department that made our stay seamless: the Front Office team for their warm welcomes, the Concierge for their assistance, the Security team for ensuring our safety, the Gym staff, and the Breakfast Buffet team for starting our days off right.

The hotel is pretty old, got some smell in the room, dare not to use the bath tub. Photos look better than reality. A lot of homeless at the Taipei station at night, a bit scary. Very nice to offer welcome drinks and the location is excellent.

Rooms were not sound-proof as advertised, but other than that we had no issues at with this facility. Rooms were clean every night with amenities, tea, coffee, water replenished. Transportation is key. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Taipei.

I booked the hotel because the location was extremely convenient to the station. There were two station exits really close to the hotel entrance, which made traveling on metro such as the MRT and HSR so quick. The staff was also extremely professional and helpful.

As for the room, I enjoyed how spacious and clean it was. Very easy to navigate from the hotel entrance to my room. The amenities and bathroom were also nice during the stay. However, there were some issues during the stay. The bed was harder than what I was used to, but was workable. The worst issue was the A/C, where the room was not cold even when I set the room temperature to the highest cool setting. This was not convenient especially in Taipei's humid summers.

Overall, I really enjoyed the lodging for its convenience and value. However, the bed and A/C was a concern during my visit.

The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient—just a few meters from the MRT Station (M3 exit), which made getting around the city effortless. The breakfast menu offered a nice variety and was a pleasant way to start each day. However, the rooms and amenities felt quite dated and could benefit from some upgrade. One suggestion would be to upgrade to universal power outlets in the rooms to better accommodate international travelers. Despite these minor drawbacks, it was overall a nice and comfortable stay.

Room is small but decent and clean. Hotel is right next to Taipei main station (on the same block, right around corner) which is very convenient to use metro and go to Airport. Don’t even need to worry about rain since the pathway from hotel to metro is covered (the day we leave Taipei had big rain therefore this covered path to Taipei main station made big impression and helped us greatly).

Unlike another hotel which doesn’t offer breakfast, this hotel offers breakfast with additional pay. This reduces struggle in the morning. But there are many breakfast options around the hotel.

Love this hotel. Will stay with this hotel again next time when we are in Taipei!
