Bring your wine and booze to the room before you get to the hotel. Closest store is a 20 minute walk. Gift shop doesn’t sell any. The hotel needs a remodel top to bottom. Best part of the property is that it’s connected to the convention center. Digital check in still requires a wait for the key card.

We stayed there over Thanksgiving and went shopping on Black Friday. The location was excellent, and we even received a complimentary latte from the hotel. The service was outstanding—if we visit Providence again, we will definitely stay there.

Over all it was a nice stay, VERY convenient for convention center activities. However some feed back.. I called ahead to see if they could look into early check in availability on our room, as we had two plus hour drive and got the generic” we can’t guarantee one but feel free to stop by the desk to check “ which didn’t make help me plan my departure time from Ct. We arrived in the lobby one hour prior to check in & line was crazy longggg, we had a 45 min wait to check in for regular check in time! Also we had no soap, no shampoo, etc 0 toiletries! At least we had toilet paper n bath towels. But realizing the non existent items at 11pm when we went to shower was a disappointment, lucky I packed most items from home. I over heard many other guests saying they had complimentary breakfast and other items as courtesy for their long wait or other inconveniences, I wasn’t offered anything which would have been appreciated but I also didn’t make a big stink to the staff about the wait, or the missing toiletries, I guess only the squeaky wheels do get grease. Slightly disappointed but if I stayed again I would arrive earlier and check the rooms amenities before our scheduled events for sure.

The room I had was basic, not great. it smelled like smoke and the bathroom faucet leaked. since it was only one night for us we stuck it out. overpriced for this basic room.

They ended up refunding me for the 2nd night without issue due to the snow storm and cancellation of day 2 for the comp. Room was clean. Seems like they may have just made some upgrades. And a special note for those who, like me, find the fashion for heavy comforters on the bed better suited to the North Slope of Alaska than the inside of a hotel room, hiding is the closet is a lightweight blanket!
Short of 5 stars for a couple of small nuisances. When I arrived there was shampoo but no bar soap and the rack of 3 shower items was empty. There are two towers, and the layout is awkward if you are in the East Tower as I was. IF you use the parking garage connected to the hotel, you come in (eventually) to the 2nd floor of the West Tower, where the breakfast restaurant and convenience shop are. There's no direct access to any of those from the East Tower, you have to schlep your stuff down to the ground floor, across the lobby, and back up the west elevator. But the blanket makes up for a lot, so call it a 4-1/2. but remember to ask for the West Tower.

What a wonderful hotel. From the moment we got there the quality of service, the cleanliness of the hotel and the continuous communication via text messaging was amazing. It is fully attached to the convention center and a shopping mall. There are so many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Our room with two beds was spacious clean with all the amenities you’d expect in a five star like property. The service was top-of-the-line throughout our stay. We really appreciated the quality of service provided by the staff.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Omni Providence Hotel while celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. I emailed the hotel ahead of time to let them know about the occasion, and from the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond.

At check-in, they wished her a happy birthday, offered to send something up to the room, and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a luxury suite. My daughter summed it up perfectly when she asked, “Is this how rich people live?” — which still makes us laugh.

They sent up a delicious cake with a beautifully written card, which was such a thoughtful touch. Abby and Jen at the front desk were fantastic and made us feel genuinely welcomed the entire stay. We were also given a late checkout, which made the experience even more relaxing.

The location is perfect — easy access to the mall and we had an awesome time at Level 99. On top of everything else, the kids even received goody bags, which made them feel just as special.

This was truly an unforgettable stay, and the attention to detail made my wife’s birthday weekend incredibly memorable. I can’t recommend the Omni Providence enough — we will absolutely be back.
