Needed a short stay for the weekend and Econolodge seemed decent enough as I was not planning to spend much inside the room. I chose a non smoking room but it wreaked of cigarettes. Upon inspecting the sheets, I noticed a bunch of stains/spots that looked like bedbugs stains. The Sherpa blanket had some sort of hard permanent stains. Pillow cases was almost yellow. The head board had handprints all over it. Bottom bed frames had splashes of white white water stain. Ironing board had white crustings all over it. I wore white disposal house sandals and in just a few minutes of walking around, it was black. It was so bad that I couldn’t get myself to stay the night and decided to drive back home to Boston and drive back to RI in the morning for a family member’s funeral. Front desk was not empathetic about my concerns but instead gave off annoyance. They were nice enough to refund me for the “pet stay” fee and Expedia did the right thing and refunded me.

Front desk person was extremely rude. Left early due to a leak in the ceiling. Offered to move my room but then i asked for a refund he said i would have to talk to expedite but didnt say he was unwilling too. Left instead of switching & tried to get a refund for the days i didn’t stay. Expedia said its up to the hotel & called he said i won't give him a refund & i told him that & offered to accommodate the room due to the leak & supposedly i chose to leave. Maybe be direct about your intention & not rude & stingy

Checked into the hotel and the experience was terrible. The room smelled extremely gross, the lights didn’t work, and the water was ice cold in the morning. I tried speaking with management and even wrote a letter, but the manager on duty refused to take it and claimed he would “report it.” The service was awful, and they didn’t even try to offer a refund or make things right. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

The 2 down sides are no breakfasts and the wifi u have to put the password in a portal and xbox series x cant open the portal that is the biggest things for me but probably not to u oh an just so u don't make the same mistake I did pay the 100 dollar deposit in cash do if u need to rebook it will just roll over if u use card u have to wait 72 hours to get that back an they cant reuse it until they resend it an that put me in a very tight spot with limited funds

I normally mind my business and move on with life, but this stay humbled me in ways I was not prepared for. I walked into the room and immediately knew my survival instincts were about to activate. The room looked tired, the furniture looked like it had given up on life years ago, and the vibe was very much “I should not be here.”

The towels were dirty. One pillowcase had a mysterious mark that I refused to investigate. I tossed it to the side like it offended me personally. The bathroom? That was the grand finale. Rust and mold on the bathtub like it was part of the decor theme. I honestly expected a health inspector to jump out and tell me this was a prank show.

I tried to rest but I could not even relax long enough to blink comfortably. I stayed about two hours and left because peace of mind is priceless and I was not about to gamble with whatever bacteria was renting the room next to me.

I never write reviews like this but I am doing this for the next person who just wants a clean place to breathe. It is not worth booking here. Do yourself a favor and pick literally any other hotel. You deserve better and so does your immune system.

Was put into a room that was supposed to be smoke free and was clearly just smoked in and not cleaned properly and obvious things left from previous guest. After call down to the front desk they said there was nothing that they could do so we had to leave as soon as we go there. No room change available and obviously no attempt at reconciliation of any kind

The bed was hard and you can feel the springs against you when trying to sleep. Although the bathroom looks updated in the photos, the shower/tub did not seem to be in person. The water pressure was less than average and water could not pass lukewarm. The first night we were woken up by the room phone ringing at 2am until it was answered and I just hung it back up. Nobody called back after. Later in the morning, housekeeping woke my fiancée and I up again at 9am banging on the door until we answered to ask if we needed anything even though the \"do not disturb\" sign was hanging on the exterior of the door. Every time a housekeeper saw us leaving the room we were asked if we were checking out, regardless what time of day it was. Our room was average at best. The best part of the hotel was the variety of shopping/restaurants just down the road.
