The front desk staff was great luggage storage is available but not really secure. The initial room we checked into smell of smoke and the staff was quick to change our room. Please note this hotel does not have a lift, any large suitcases, you’ll be lugging it up and down the narrow staircase.

Room was lovely and clean. The bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was situated very near Rialto bridge and St Marks square, absolutely perfect. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Just be aware it is steep stairs to all floors, not for disabled access.

Ideal location

Beautiful hotel in the perfect central location to all the main attractions. I would recommend to pack light as its a 5-10 min walk from the ferry terminal and there is no lift in the hotel. Staff were lovely and I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends

Location of this hotel is very convenient to Rialto water taxi and easy to find. Also very close to St. Mark’s square. Lots of wonderful shopping and restaurant choices all around. Rooms comfortable, had a lovely canal view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful.

Excellent location right next to Saint Mark's square, pretty rooms. Lovely place.
Didn't appreciate the cleaning at 7am right next door on my last day. If check-out is 11am, I should be able to rest in quiet until then or at least close to that time.
The noises of cleaning right beside me kept startling me and it was very uncomfortable early in the morning.
Otherwise highly recommend this hotel.

Good location. This was our first time in Venice. Staff was amazing. Room attendant was great. Can’t beat the location. Close to tourist attraction. View of canal was great. You have to leave your room key at the front desk each time you leave. It’s an old fashion key. One less thing you have to carry. It was no trouble at all. Would stay here again. Remember the rooms are small- this is an older hotel.

This hotel is in a great location in Venice. The front desk staff were lovely and they were responsive to our requests. Another plus, the included breakfast was perfect for us. Our room was on the top floor and struggled to cool to a comfortable temperature during our (hot) June visit. Also, the bathroom was not very clean, it appeared there was mold around the tub.

This is a lovely, very clean hotel. Our room had a beautiful little balcony over a canal where gondolas passed below. Morning breakfast is basic but well done and all we needed to get started for our day. The front desk staff was very helpful and carried our luggage up the stairs for us - despite other reviews that complained about this. Excellent location! Would stay here again!

The only problem was there is no elevator and I stayed on the 4th floor. I am a senior citizen so it was painful walking up and down all of the stairs.

It is Venice, the hotel has no lift so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of steps and then down one flight of stairs to get to our room. The staff were very accommodating and helpful especially when I was too sick to travel allowing us to stay an extra night so I could make the next leg of our journey.

The only thing I didn’t like, were all the stairs. No elevator. So if you have heavy or big bags, the stairs can be challenging. I had one small but heavy luggage and a backpack and I was struggling. It’s not your typical hotel. There is no elevator you have to take you bags up the stair or have some one take them up for you. The location is hard to find but once you find it you will find that it is located in a very convenient location that is close to everything you might want to do and very close to the water buss station. I will book it one more time if I get the chance to go there. And the restaurant under it is very good

I received a warm welcome. The room was a bit small but I had a single room so it was okay. No elevators so it’s not a good option for does unable to climb stairs. I did not eat breakfast but went to look and it’s not worth 10 or 12 euros how much ever it costs. Hotel should provide free water for guests especially upon arrival. Otherwise it was A good place to stay and convenient to restaurants and main sites on the island.

The hotel was located on a quiet street and our room overlooked a canal where an occasional gondola would go by with someone singing or playing the accordion.
One complaint- there were hundreds of television channels but only 2 in English.

Wonderful boutique hotel minutes right in the center of all the action in busy Venice. minutes from St Marks Square, and a 5 min walk to the Realto bridge and water taxi station. we had a wonderful canal view with balcony. highly recommended!

Great location on a canal of which my room on the fourth floor looked over. Breakfast was very nice and staff were excellent. There is no lift but porters assisted with taking bag up on arrival and down again on departure so it wasn’t an issue. Loved my stay and would definitely stay again.
