No soundproofing, so on our second night we could hear the guest below snoring and talking as if he was in our room.

Thought the hotel was great. Middle of Venice couple of minutes from st marks square. Staff were great. Room was lovely and spotlessly clean.
My small complaint is was really hard to find apple google maps not having it due to tall buildings and small walkways. Perhaps a downloadable map just from st marks square. Absolutely fantastic end to my trip.

Hotel is in good location. Had to pick up keys from another hotel as arrived at midnight then were taken to the hotel. Would have been tricky to find in the dark. Room was comfortable with good shower.
Reception staff and staff at breakfast were all very cheery and helpful. Watch out for the seagull stealing food if sitting outside for breakfast.

The hotel entrance is hard to find as it's tucked in around a corner in an alley. But the people are all friendly and the room is clean but a little smaller than I thought. This is possibly the most uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff on the desk were not very helpful. There was nowhere to safely leave bags when checking out. So, if you need a late check out or a hotel that has a \"safe\" storage for your bags, stay elsewhere. It was also extremely difficult to find at the outset, as Google maps takes you to a street 50 yards away.

Its really beautiful hotel located very close by all main attractions and shopping,Rialto bridge was just 9 min walk and clock tower,Doges Palace & St marks basilica was just 5 mins away from the hotel.

The location is unbeatable - literally a few minutes away from piazza san Marco. However the location is also an issue. I had a room with a window on the first floor out of 3 (ground, 1 to 3), but the window opens out to a noisy restaurant below which generally does not close until 10pm and there will be noise until 11 or 12 midnight. This can be tolerated but smokers below mean you can smell cigarettes before 10am and after 11pm (before and after the restaurants operating hours) if you open the window. At 8am you will also hear the nearby bell tower ringing but this was fine for me. Bring ear plugs for a good sleep. The staff were lovely, the place was very clean although there are mosquitoes in the bathroom and this can’t be avoided in Venice. The hotel offered a free but simple breakfast which I very much appreciated. The location and price cannot be matched but may not suit those sensitive to noise or cigarettes.

The shower stall has two sliding doors and one was barely still attached so we had to be careful with it. The breakfast was very nice, especially those staffing it. The location was pretty solid.

I had to go looking for someone to let me in to this hotel. I had read a review saying it was hard to get in and find so I figured if I just followed the email instructions to a T, I could find the hotel and there would be instructions for entry. However, this was not explained so we went to Hotel Citta di Milano to be confronted with a locked door and no information. Had to call and was given directions of where to go. 3 hotel in one
The hotel we booked was Citta Di Milano. Reception and breakfast were in Hotel Panada and our room was in Hotel Diana- across the street from Panada (2 meter away :) ) . This was very strange. But the place was great - 1 min. walk to San Marco. The room was good, clean with a mini bar and nice TV. Breakfast was poor - a croisant, small bread, juice, yogurt, honey, jam and a coco cream. You had to ask for butter, because they don't bring it. Very slow service in the breakfast area. Overall nice hotel, but they need to improve breakfast.

The receptionist was rather defensive when I asked whether the extra 42 Euros hotel tax I was charged was included in my total. Apparently it is extra on top of the taxes we pay on hotel.com. The breakfast was very good and location was fabulous, really central. I would definitely stay here again and the hotel restaurant downstairs is great too. Excellent service in the restaurant with very good pasta and no hidden costs.

This is a basic, slightly old fashioned hotel in a fantastic location. The showers were hot with a good flow and the beds comfortable enough. We chose to eat breakfast out every day so I can’t comment on that. Overall we were happy with the facilities which were clean, but the reception staff were unwelcoming and miserable. The hotel is located in a convenient area and is near some popular landmarks. It is walking distance to one of the stops on the vaporetto which makes it easy to commute around. However, the hotel is a bit difficult to find and not as “new” as the photos depict. On top of the that, my room was next to the elevator so we heard every sound whenever it was being used. There was no hot water even after letting it run for 15 minutes so I called their number. Someone picked up but said they couldn’t check until the following morning. I’m only staying for 1 night so that was pretty useless. Couldn’t even shower for 1 night - is that too much to ask for? Also the sheets and towels smell like someone ate vinegar Pringles on top of it all week. Would definitely not be recommending this hotel to any of my friends or family.

We booked this hotel but arrived a bit earlier and got directed to another hotel San Zulian. The reception was fine looking so we felt okay. We dropped off our bags and went to lunch at the restaurant next door and went back in an hour. We were shown to a room in a small courtyard (only 2 rooms) there. The outside of the room was a temporay storage. The room was small and had no natural light at all. The worst was the room smelled of sewage the whole time. The reception guy knew it and preferred not to do anything. It was a horrible experience. Why a hotel allowed a room like this to be sold to customers was beyoond me....Venice was beautiful city but was ruined by hotels like this. Good location but Venice is so small, there is really no need to be that close to St. Marco square if the opton is to stay in a room like that...
