The staff were so nice and helpful. The location central, but busy. The breakfasts and breakfast service were great. The room was comfortable but the matress was hard. It could have used a memory foam topper. The lights in the room were inadequate. I needed to use a headlap to read. I'd say the lights were an issue; the room was dim. But overall I liked it alot.

We paid upgrade for premium room yet was given a very small room. Was told they had no premium rooms available to move us to.

Mould in the bathroom and in the air conditioning unit. When complained we were told all Venice hotels have lots of mould and that it wasn’t a problem

We have since been offered a token €40 discount yet this hasn’t made the stay worth it.

It is small place small elevator but next to gondola stop surrounded by restaurants and businesses. I am still at a loss getting to boat stop and train stop to and fro the hotel. There are Filipinos in the reception, kitchen and room this is why I like the place.

Room requested was 2 twins. Attendant offered linens for me to separate and remake beds, requested he do while we were out. Came back to beds 6 inches apart. Each bed had one sheet per bed and the full comforter over both beds, I got two more sheets and spreads out of the closet. One of the biggest problems is the facility is listed as having an elevator, this is true for the upper floors but not the first above ground level, approximately 12 -14 stairs, could be a deal breaker for many and you would not know till you got there.
Also the second night a crazy person was out in the street at 3am for about an hour, throwing things, yelling, hitting walls and buildings with a metal pipe. Screaming and yelling at anyone going by. Told manager the next morning and he said other had told the night clerk and he failed to call police.
The night manager was a very young kid but kind person, he is the same one that remade the bed, he was very nice but needed much more training before being let to himself.
The breakfast was nice and the dinning area nice in the top floor loft.
The location was a 3 minute walk to St. Marks Square after you figured the path.

The location of this hotel is amazing! So close to St. Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. Easy walk to water buses and tons of great restaurants right outside the door. The room itself could definitely use a refresh, but you don’t go to Venice to stay in your hotel room. Would absolutely stay there again.

Everything is good , except the bathroom is so small and the shower has no place to put all the cleaning stuff, we have to put them on the floor , finally when we did the check out, we need to pay the city tax around twenty Canadian money instead of ten dollars (according to Expedia statement )

The hotel was quirky, but very much in tune with what was expected in Venice. It was on a canal, so was a bit noisy with people yelling right outside on the water and across from the other buildings during times to sleep. The desk was not manned often and it was a bit confusing for checking in and out.The breakfast provided was very basic. The location was ideal.

Great place to stay in the center of Venice. Easy to get to from the vaporetto and convenient to the main tourist attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. We would stay here again.

The property was an older property that had been renovated. The renovation was nice and it was very unique. We had a water leak in our room on the last night of our stay that could not be fixed because it was too late to get a repairman. Other than that the room and breakfast was great.

Great Location & Fabulous Restaurants

Hotel is very close to St. Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace, Bridge of Sighs and Rialto Bridge. Hotel staff are very helpful. I highly recommend ristorante Al Conte Pescaor (steak and seafood) and Ca' Dolfin (seafood). Go to the Academia Bridge in the afternoon to take beautiful photos of the Grand Canal.

Authentic and quaint old townhouse right in the mix. You’ll need to map it to find it. Location is the best thing. The breakfast lady was quite unhappy with her lot and quite dismissive. The night manager was the same- not exactly friendly. Overall, we wouldn't return.

Staff housekeeping mostly consisted of Filipinos which is why they are very clean. However, the room we got was a bit dusty and feels stuffy. The shower door is broken but we didn’t complain so our fault 😅. The were accommodating to our requests (extra blankets). Although the manager did tell us that housekeeping ends at 2pm.

You can leave your luggage even after check out to stroll around the area. There is also a convenience store beside the hotel which is great. You can also see a gondola service right as you walk out the doors.

Breakfast was good as well (mostly breads).

Overall, the hotel is quite good for its price.

It’s was a good location hotel to stay at. Unfortunately the bed seem to be two twin beds put together which made a big gap in the middle and mattress's was very hard. I’m pretty sure it had bed bugs too 😩. The room was very spacious and at a good rate, breakfast was good simple Italian breakfast nothing major. I was itching the whole time and I’m pretty sure they weren’t mosquitos.

Great Hotel - hard mattresses

Location, good price excellent service. Staff speaks English well and to help me figure out public transportation to my next destination as well as find different things around the city.

That said, breakfast was underwhelmed and the beds are very firm. So if you’re not looking to eat in the city or need a soft bed, that may be something to consider.

Overall incredible value and I’d definitely come here again!

Staff rather cold and not particularly helpful, but hotel is very clean and well appointed. Typical 3-star. Room very spacious but bathroom tiny, no shelf to place your toiletries anywhere. Attractive and functional. View of brick wall. Close to Piazza San Marco. Many dining options nearby. Warning to the mobility-impaired: even though there is a lift (elevator) there are many steps to and from it.

This property has the perfect location for all things in the St. Mark’s Square area. Very quiet and safe. The front door is always locked and there is someone at either reception area on the first or fourth floors. We had a suite on the fourth floor. There is an elevator. Great breakfast!

Beautiful Venetian room ❤️ it's a slight walk from the San Marco Piazza if you have large luggage. If you don't then perfect place to stay. The canal is a back canal but nonetheless it's cool to be right next to it within steps. I loved the big windows that you can walk out on a small platform to see outside. It's conveniently located near shopping and so close to the tower, basilica and palace you won't regret that part at all! It's a ways in from the start of the grand canal so you just jump on the ACTV boat after getting off the train at St. Lucia train stop. Don't let the porters grab your luggage from the train station or you'll be paying 20$ for five minutes of work!! It's cheaper to take the ACTV then the private water taxi which I paid $70 one way. So take the ACTV if you're on a budget. I would stay here again!

Stayed with them for 3 nights. The lift was down when I was there by both my check in staff and check out staff helped me with my bags to get down while I have a nerve injury in my arm travelling solo. The breakfast staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean.

This property was okay and clean, but it is not a 4 star property. The furniture was very dated, lots of mis-matched furniture in bedroom, bathroom had a large crack in the sink, but shower was nice. We asked for 2 twin beds, they just took out the middle piece that made it a king. The room was very spacious and the area to shops and attractions was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Ca’ del Campo. It was a fantastic location, safe and comfortable hotel, and so close to anything we wanted to do. We must come back soon. Included breakfast was perfect (coffee was probably the best I had in Italy so far), and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to go back!

Location and breakfast are the highlights.
Service wasn’t great as we tried to find someone to answer some transportation questions and went to the reception desk 4 times in 2 hours but never found anyone.

This quaint property was perfect for our short stay. Literally just minutes from both San Marco square and Realto Bridge. Manager was extremely helpful, especially when assisting us with airport transportation. Property was very clean and also includes light breakfast items. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This property is close to great shopping and is relatively easy to find. The breakfast was a good start to the day. The rooms were well stocked with snacks and beverages but pricey. Perfect Hotel!

Absolutely delightful hotel in every way possible. The rooms were comfortable, pretty, spotlessly clean and the new TV meant that I could watch international news channels - not always possible in Italian hotels. The breakfast was lovely - a tray of delights including warm apricot croissants, cake, coffee, and the usual continental fare. The hotel manager was friendly, charming and happy to assist in any way he could. And the location couldn't be better! I would not hesitate to return!

Property was perfectly located just a few walking minutes away from Piazza San Marco you can even see it from the top floor window. Rooms newly renovated but still has the Venice decorations touch. Very clean, comfortably and convenient. The breakfast super special I couldn't finished all because It was too much. I definitely recommend this Hotel.

The location is excellent once you get there. You need to understand transportation (water taxi system) before you get there but we were able to navigate the streets with our luggage. The staff are great about informing you about the area and getting back to the main terminal. A very nice local breakfast is provided there.

We stayed in the triple room. The room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint my wife states was the scent of the freshener that was sprayed in the room. Some may enjoy it and some may find it a bit over powering.
The breakfast was delivered to us in the breakfast area at a designated time slot that we booked at reception. The breakfast was delivered as a generic tray of breakfast staples (tea/coffee, croissant, bun, yogurt, ham, cheese).
All in all is was an ok stay.

It was a lovely short break at this Hotel in Venice, Hotel was very clean, rooms we nice and bathrooms clean, breakfast was included and was more than adequate,
My my gripe was the confusion over payment, our agreement & booking confirmation stated very clearly as long as you secured it by a credit card no payment would be taken before and only when you arrived, yet I got demands asking for a €280 payment 30 hours before arrival, this come from Hotels.com and all edged by the Hotel,
Please don’t change an agreement or bully customers into these payments, a confirmed booking is a booking

Location is great!

The location of this hotel was great. Right in the middle of the action, which we loved. Once arriving, we didn’t know where to go. We walked the stairs aimlessly. For those who have booked but not yet gone, reception is on the 1st or 4th floor. Once meeting the front desk, they were super nice and helpful!!! Breakfast was served in the morning and it was fine. The only negative is… we are not very picky sleepers… but I will say the beds were very uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in my back. For us, this was fine. But for others, it might not be. A small simple perk of ca del campo was there were slippers in our room. This made us smile!
