First let me say I’m sad to give a bad review because there are so many things right about the hotel. Location is great, breakfast is good, room is clean and one of best showers encountered on euro trip. Staff was very friendly and would be my new go to hotel in Venice with the exception of the pillows. They were like two thin bags of cement. Hardest I’ve ever encountered, so called the desk late at night asking for softer ones and they sent up two more of the same. They came quickly and if you like very hard pillows this is a perfect hotel for all the reasons mentioned above but if you don’t and a good nights sleep is important to you then probably not the right place.

The decor is a little tired, the breakfast definitely needs improving. Our room on the top floor was full of mosquitos and we were covered in bites the next morning, this was in late October! Walls were very thin too.

We loved our stay here. The service is top notch and there is someone at the front desk at all times, which we appreciated. The included breakfast was a nice touch, a rarity in Italy. Lots of different options and delicious, too. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Keep your windows closed though, because there are many mosquitos in Venice!

The hotel has a nice bar, and a super cute table/terrace right on the canal which was lovely for a late night drink. Staff was all great and super helpful. The All'Angelo Art Hotel is a hidden gem located in the heart of Venice, just steps from Piazza San Marco, in a quiet area. This puts you very close to the main attractions. The vaporetto stops by Piazza San Marco are easy to reach, and there are many restaurants and shops around the hotel. My room was clean and met my expectations. There wasn't much variety at breakfast, but it was enough for me. The staff is great. I think they are one of the best teams I have seen. The front desk staff always greet you with a friendly and welcoming smile. Natalia at the bar was wonderful, and the girls in the breakfast area were always great. Everybody at the hotel did their best to make us feel at home. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back to the All'Angelo Art Hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was excellent and so close to all major attractions like St Mark’s Square, Dogges Palace, the Grand Canal and hundreds of shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and never felt overcrowded even though it was full capacity. My only suggestion would be to improve options for breakfast. It was quite limited. But please overlook this as they will still try and accommodate your requests. A huge shout out to Alkeon Stillo at the front desk. He was absolutely amazing and super helpful at recommending restaurants to us. We always looked forward to seeing him and telling him about our day. Right next door is Rosso Pomodorro which is excellent!!!! Natalia at the bar in the hotel was the nicest person and always welcomed us with a big smile and a friendly chat. It’s staff like these two which makes a hotel what it is, simply amazing! Thank you

We came in the summer so we would often stop back at the hotel to cool off, rest and use the washroom in between our destinations. Breakfast was hearty with good options. Great hotel. Very central, 5 mins from San Marco, but still quite secluded. We went for the junior suite which was lovely with an amazing view of the canals usually frequented by Gondolas. Lift was a little temperamental, so 3 floors a few times a day was a bit of a shin splint, but that was literally my only gripe. Free breakfast was basic but very welcome and sets you up for the day nicely. Budget for the city tax at the end of your stay. Water taxi is pricey but worth it to get back to the airport in good time and reception are more than happy to help.

Location was perfect for me as near Alilaguna waterbus stop for airport transfers and other ACTV stops for places i wanted to visit. San Marco area, although busy, is a great place to be based for someone making a first visit to this fascinating and charming city. Lots of shopping outlets nearby, top end and touristy and plenty of choice for meals out. I really enjoyed my stay despite having been the victim of pickpockets on the crowded ferry to Murano. Be careful all of you. They are quick, clever, and opportunistic.

This hotel was fantastic. Check-in process was easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom worked extremely well. The view of the canal was amazing from my room. There was breakfast in the morning, but I would say that the breakfast was not that great. However, thecoffee was good, which makes up for something. The only other downside I would say is that the bed was rather hard the sheets given to you rather meager. But it was OK and tolerable for a few days while enjoying such a magnificent city as Venice. I overhaul very much enjoyed this day and would definitely stay there again.

I was very happy with my stay. As expected on a hotel in central Venice, the room was cozy, but very clean and comfortable. Service was excellent at every turn, and they were happy to accommodate holding my bags before and after checkout so I could spend more time exploring the city.

We all love this hotel. We stayed in November and the rooms were warm and cozy. The breakfast was perfect. It was a short walk to everywhere but tucked into a lovely little avenue. There was a bus strike but the hotel warned us and made arrangements for a water taxi which came right up to the hotel’s waterfront entrance.

We enjoyed our recent stay at All’Angelo Art Hotel. The hotel is perfect as a centrally located home base for exploring all of Venice. The staff are very friendly and professional. If you have a drink at the hotel bar, spend some time getting to know Natalia. She’s great!

The hotel lobby smelled amazing but my room did not. I got a first floor room that was picture perfect but the room smelled like sewage when the window is closed. It was hard to sleep the first night and we cracked the window open for the second night, the smell is much more bearable with the window open. Not sure if it's just the first floor rooms, but beware if you are sensitive to smells.
Breakfast was really good for being complimentary with good options. The staff was helpful and friendly.
