Beautiful hotel with a stylish and peaceful ambiance.

The rooms are clean, stylish and the bed was delightful!

The staff are polite friendly and happy to help.

The location is also perfect!

Would definitely recommend.

Only feedback would be more plug sockets needed in the rooms and be mindful when booking a canal view room as breakfast is served just outside these rooms so can be a little noisy when setting up/being served but not enough to stop deep sleeper sleeping!

Best hotel in Venice!! Walking distance from San Marco with lots of dinning options. The ferries are walking distance from the hotel and a very quiet street. The room was very clean and spacious. They also had a great breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The room is clean and modern! The bathroom has marble! The staff is really nice! Small hotel next to the main attractions and water taxi! So convenient very pleased! Breakfast with everything you need. I wanted to cancel from fotos but I was very impressed! Bed was comfortable room was spacious. Perfect! Awesome decor. Staff very helpful - I met 3 of them in my stay at the front desk! Very friendly and helpful.

Great location, right behind San Marco Square and basilica (2 minute walk). San Marco Zaccaria water taxi at the end of the alley (1 minute walk), great if you don't want to lug your luggage across town. Basic room, clean, nice bathroom with shower stall. Backs up to a canal.

Great location, very close to some of the main attractions. Very accessible from the train station, via the Vaporetto. We used the hotel as a base to explorer and it was ideal. 4 of use ( 2 adults plus a 13 and 8 year old) shared a spacious room overlooking a canal busy with gondola traffic. The kids loved it. Breakfast good, staff extremely friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, it’s a hidden gem, its new, modern, spacious room, clean and walkable to Piazza San Marco and several shops, restaurants around so great location if you want to be in the center but still quiet.All staff members were extremelly polite, breakfast is tasty with a good variety to choose including hot buffet. Went with my family and chose the canal suite which was really nice. The only cons were the mosquitoes but thats not the hotels fault remember to keep the windows closed. I would definitely stay there again and for me this 3 star hotel felt more like a 4 star among several hotels I saw before that claim to be 4 stars and dont even compare to this one. Thank you for everything this made our experience in Venice even better.

This is a great little boutique hotel (it has 8 rooms on one floor with a dining and general lobby area). The staff are friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast is great.

The hotel is within walking distance of virtually anything you want to see on the Vienna island. Water transport is directly out front - water taxi, ferry, gondola. Hundreds of dining options within a very short walk and it's only 5 minutes from the Doge Palace and St Mark's Square.

Perfect for me. I wanted an updated and modern hotel, rather than the dingy, outdated decor of many Venice hotels. It’s a small boutique hotel with just one floor of rooms but it was quiet. The canal view I purchased was nothing to write home about but it was a canal view. Room was quite small but nothing out of the ordinary for a European hotel in an ancient city with limited land. The breakfast was a nice surprise and had everything I needed so I didn’t feel the need to eat elsewhere for breakfast. And the location was great- steps from the Bridge of Sighs but situated in a quiet street/alleyway that was away from the crowds. It was also extremely convenient, also a one minute walk from a major water bustop so extremely easy to get to from the airport or to get to other parts of the city, although the hotel was so central that I worked everywhere. Bathroom was clean and modern and the air conditioning worked and was strong. I would definitely stay here again. Only warning is that there is someone attending the front desk until about 10 pm, so make sure to have arrangements if you’re arriving late, otherwise not having one late at night was never an issue.

I booked a last minute trip to Venice and was glad I got to stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and attentive (I don’t speak Italian) and the breakfast was really nice. It’s in a central location (if a bit touristy and loud at night). The room itself was comfortable and spacious.

A small boutique hotel with an amazing location

The location is amazing, located in a narrow street just behind St. Markus Square and 50 meters to the Grande Canal/Lagoon's water taxis and water busses. Our room was small but very comfortable and newly renovated, very contemporary, overlooking a narrow quiet canal.

A large number of restaurants are in short walking distance.

The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is good.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, close to Piazza San Marco, Doge's Palace, and Saint Mark's Basilica. The hotel has a great breakfast, very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Our only negative comment would be the \"canal view', yes you can see a gondola filled canal but you need to REALLY lean out of the window to see it (not just stand there and see it), you still do have a canal view. With that said, I would definitely stay here again because everything else was outstanding.

If you are currently scrolling hoping to find a hotel to stay in Venice, stop scrolling and book this property already. Maison Ducal is awesome. The breakfast is really good and the hotel is a walking distance to every major attraction you would need to visit. The staff are also very polite and helpful, would definitely visit and book again!

Very boutique hotel. Maybe 7 rooms. Working on signage with city they said but VERY HARD TO FIND SECRET DOOR. they should say to the right of Bar Clowdia.

Small is ok but inefficient with space IMO. Need shelf/ledges in bathroom to place things. In room as well. A/C awful in my opinion (IMO).

Breakfast was excellent but short hours which was fine.

Lovely hotel, we stayed for 3 nights. Perfect location to get around Venice. Rooms were very clean and the hotel was very well kept. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were very helpful and gave good advice. Only thing we felt could have been better would be the breakfast, wasn’t the greatest selection. Would also be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Very very very glad we chose this place as our base for our time in Venice. It's prime location to everything in San Marco and it was so convenient to be only a few steps from the major vaporetto stops. On top of that breakfast was a great buffet, more options than I expected. The room was clean and quiet. Only minor issue is that when it says room canal view don't expect much. Otherwise, would definitely come back if I ever find myself in Venice again.

The aircon in the room did not work and could not sleep at all. When I asked the staff to get it sorted, they lied and told me May is an inbetween season where AC is not functioning yet.
I later overheard a cleaner talk to the receptionist mentioning the room is 27 degrees boiling hot. The receptionist replied saying it was broken and needed fixing.

I had to request an electric fan which was always facing upwards.

The room had no natural light coming in.

One morning after the staff had come over to clean the room, we noticed that someone’s had left a used cup of coffee in our room… very unprofessional.

The overhead shower did not work either and the shampoo and body wash provided were tiny and never replaced.

Lovely modern hotel in Venice. The staff recommended wonderful restaurants and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and part of the city (and get us reservations at highly rated hotels on a Friday!). This is a boutique hotel so no restaurant while we were there and smallish quarters but you feel like you are part of the “real city” while being steps away from Sn Marcos Square. We had a beautiful view of a canal though from high up. Highly recommended hotel!

I was in this hotel for four nights, and it was awful. The hotel was set up with rows of rooms on both sides and one awkward room in the middle (likely added later) that shared a wall with the front desk. I requested a quiet room, and they assigned me the awkward center room. The wall was so thin I could even hear the TYPING at the front desk, and I have no doubt that the front desk could hear every single word I said. The hotel contacted me TWICE beforehand to ask me about my arrival time but did not mention that this is the only room they had available. When I got there, I asked them if I could cancel my reservation, and they said no. The bathroom was so small there wasn’t even a shower head, just a hose you had to hold, which made getting shampoo out of my hair difficult. The toiletries were embarrassingly small (I brought packets that had larger contents). I complained about the room, and they said I could pay and get a different one. No thanks. Also, I did NOT agree to have my information shared with third parties for advertising, yet immediately after checking out, I received targeted ads. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice little place in good location

Good location in San Marco, close to the square. Hotel room was compact (as may be expected in central Venice). Adequate facilities but not luxurious. Booked canal view room which with hindsight was not with it...you need to be both tall and lean out of window to view the canal. Hotel was clean and Covid precautions are in place.

A beautiful surprise

We booked this trip not expecting too much from a 3-star hotel in such a touristic destination... well we were nicely surprised ! From the very stylish entrance to the completely modern room (very different from the usual venitian style), everything was furnished with taste. The staff was very helpful and cordial, and recommended a good pizzeria for our first time eating italian pizza. The AC was a godsend during the extremely hot weather we had. Clearly a 4-star hotel quality.

2 Day Stay in Venice

The hotel staff contacted me before my trip to Venice to prepare for my arrival. After much confusion on how to get to the hotel, the staff was very helpful in guiding me through getting tickets with the vaporetto and was very patient with me. The hotel location was just above one of the main alleys which made getting food and being really close to shipping convenient. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to travel to Venice.

Literally 200m or so from St Mark's Square - but hidden down one of the small side streets of Venice, and a great base to explore from. The hotel itself is small having just 8 rooms but it is well equipped, very clean and flood free!
The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, for example, staying late at night as we arrived from the airport after reception had closed for the night.
Some mention about the smell from the plumbing..a minor niggle and easily solved with a towel placed over the shower drain :)

If you are looking for a great hotel, don't look any further.

This was my sixth visit to Venice and the best place I have stayed in to date. Glad I discovered it. There are a couple of things to be aware of - it is a little tricky to spot (especially in the dark!). The door is recessed with no outside sign. But it is where it says it is on Google Maps. Its such a small hotel, (8 rooms I think) the rooms are near the breakfast area but are not noisy at all. And I am a v light sleeper. The breakfast is put out so quietly it's a real surprise to open your bedroom door in the morning and find it all laid out. Bed was comfy, rooms a good size (there are two larger ones which sleep extra people). The communal area is very smart and nice to sit in. The breakfast is tasty with lots of variety (delicious cakes!) Wifi is excellent. You can leave your bags if you have a later flight. Location is great- a stone's throw from St Mark's Sq yet very quiet. Even though we were there in the height of the Aqua Alta and the water levels were worryingly unprecedented, all hotel staff remained cheerful and helpful. My go-to stay in Venice from now on. Grazie mille per tuto!

They checked us in early and provided us additional information for transferring over to the airport. I am absolutely impressed with this hotel. Only minimally negative comment, I upgraded room to Canal View when booking. Although this is literally correct, you really had to stretch and peer out the window looking down to see it.
