I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Danieli in Venice. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of luxury and charm. The staff is incredibly detail-oriented and went out of their way to ensure my experience was flawless. The food was delightful, and every meal exceeded my expectations.
The only downside was the hairdryer in the bathroom. It was quite awful for a hotel of this caliber. Given the price they charge for the room, I expected a high-quality device, such as a Dyson Styler, instead.

First off, let me start by saying that anyone who left a bad review of this hotel is a pretentious snob. The hotel, staff and service were all top notch. From the greeting the moment we arrived to a staff that went above and beyond catering to us, this place was amazing. We lucked out being able to upgrade our rooom to a balcony with a canal view WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! The location was perfect. Close to all the cool historical sights and about a 3 min walk from any food you can imagine.

I have stayed at the Hotel Danieli previously and it has not changed. There is construction going on at the moment as it is being updated as a Four Seasons Hotel. However, the staff are very pleasant and always willing to help you. The food is very good. It is not far from all the sights you want to take in. Very pleasant experience. Thank you.

Loved everything about the property except for one thing. Went to their restaurant La Terraza. I was very surprised to see men dressed in shorts. Many guest had on jacket and ties. In fact, there were some children dressed better then there adult guests. Really didn’t expect to see this at a dinner that cost well over 400.00. Staff and food were some.

After being given a very small room we were delivered to be upgraded to a much nicer room with a beautiful view and big balcony. Sadly only stayed for two nights but would have welcomed being given the bigger room on are. It’s a stunning location and the hotel is steeped in history but it’s the most expensive hotel we’ve stayed in… and in addition we had to pay extra for breakfast! Which was lovely but really £1k for a small room and breakfast not included!

This is our second time at Hotel Danieli. What a wonderful place! The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable- special kudos to concierge Max - however, since we plan to come back and we want this hotel to remain as one of the best hotels in Venezia, I recommend that they improve their room service menu- we ordered a chicken sandwich (34€) and they brought us a cold chicken sandwich that we could’ve bought at any 7 eleven @ $3.00 - no garnish whatsoever, not even chips or a small fruit or any kind of detail that reminds you the great experience of being at a luxury 5 star hotel in Venice, just the plain sandwich on a small white plate.

Pretty lobby,rest of hotel is poor condition.booked king size room w/ac.neither was provided.This should be a $200 per night hotel...I asked to speak with the GM and was told he was in a meeting, 2 hours later, I asked again,was told by the same rude hotel staffer that GM was off that day.When they tried to fix my room,they tried to downgrade my booking 3x times,offering smaller rooms w/tinyer baths, when they saw I was not budging,they miraculous found the same size room one floor above mine that has working aircon,BUT no king size bed.They combined the two mattresses with some old pad, but was sagging between the gap every night.Restaurant-dined in hotel restaurant 1st night.a beautiful venue, unfortunately the restaurant staff are better equipped & mannered to operate the trattoria by the airport.We ordered a >$180 US bottle of wine.when the waiter brought it,he placed it on the table facing the label away from me & began to open it....I stopped him, examined bottle was wrong year, etc etc etc.we asked for a shawl, they said they ran out.we looked around,99% of guests did not have a shawl except for one man.how could they run out that night?the man left, they gave us his shawl.in the age of pandemic, you would think Marriott would have sanitary practice. the lobby staff has no problem harassing you every second about masks sliding off your noise. First night we arrived we used the terrace restaurant, the menu was complicated but the food was very good. I was shocked to charge 16€ each cover charge! Our rooms mini bar was empty due to Covid and had a sticker on stating it had been sanitised well it wasn’t ! Great location and concierge was excellent. Breakfast was awful, not fresh orange juice, waited 20 min for a poached egg and my bacon sausage tomato hash brown had gone cold. We left without eating breakfast. They had honey traps for wasp next to your terrace table wasp flying everywhere. When I was asked was everything ok I said no, how does it take 20 min to patched an egg. No reponse.

The main building was built in 1492 it had character rarely seen the bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly the downside it was loud and you need eat plugs to take a nap.Also the heating and cooling is a little hard to control

The hotel lobby is stunning then it stops there. I was returning to Venice after many years an wanted a nice experience. I sent notice months ahead asking for an earlier check in if possible as I arrived at 11:15am they said they had me on a rush list. I still wasn’t in my room at 3:30pm the check is was to be no later than 3 pm instead of telling me to go have lunch or a Coffee I was told to wait not even a welcome drink or a glass or water was offered. This is a luxury hotel of the world and this service is unacceptable my room costing close to $800.000 usd was small with not much a view of buildings definitely had not even a glimpse of the water. No breakfast was included and was 55euros a 35 euro price was offered at check in if I pre paid for the entire stay. No outside tables were available with a view when I went to breakfast and the buffet was just Ok not fabulous as I had hoped so go look at the lobby and stay elsewhere. My TV wasn’t working and the had an emergency elsewhere didn’t call to tell had me waiting over one hour after I was told they would be at my room within a few minutes Some of the reception staff at least said they were sorry. I travel a lot and this was not the best experience on many levels

This is a classic top hotel experience. The proximity to St Marks and the Doges was about as close as you can get but not noisy. Of course, the price is the highest I've ever paid but was a one night add on to our tour.
