We loved our room. It was definitely giving Beauty and the Beast vibes and I'm so here for it.

We had several delays and we missed our check in time, but they were super easy to communicate with via WhatsApp! They even sent a video so you couldn't mess it up!

We loved the location, but know staying in Venice also requires a lot of walking anyways! It felt very safe, the bathroom was modern and water was always hot.

I'm sure the video said this, but it's a key lock and you need to use the key to lock your room at night on the inside. Also there are automatic blinds that roll down behind the big curtains, we found that the last day, but we started so early it didn't matter that the sun was coming up!

We didn't utilize their breakfast, we went out and started the day early and just found a small spot.

Upon leaving was our first real interaction with the very nice hotel desk attendant! He was very nice and kept our bags up front until we left for the airport.

I couldn't recommend this hotel more! This is definitely where we'd stay if we come back!

This hotel is run by a lovely guy who took a lot of time to welcome us and gave us some great recommendations for places to go and eat / see. The room was very plush and well appointed, with a fabulous view over the canal — breakfast in our room on the first morning felt like such a treat! The position is very convenient, near to everything. Will be back!

We stayed at Hotel Residenza Veneziana on May 16th, 2024 and had such amazing experiences. The hotel is located at a very convenient location right on a quiet small canal, within walking distance to everything. The hotel room is decorated with very unique classic Venetian style furniture and fixtures, something not easy to find nowadays, but the bathroom is very updated, modern, nice and clean. We received a nice warm welcome with champagne and a huge delicious breakfast served to the room at the time we selected the next morning. The owner Matteo Todisco is so nice and helpful. He answers all our questions promptly and provided very detailed direction as to how to get there. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back on our next trip to Venice. Thank you Matteo and Loui.

Amazing stay! Wish we were able to stay longer so that means we will definitely be back! Room & bathroom was spotless clean and beautiful decor. Luis greated us when we arrived and he was beyond kind! helping us with luggage and giving us great tips and info on Venice as it was our first time visiting. He was so very sweet! The breakfast display was beautiful and delicious as well.

Excellent hotel

Absolutely amazing. The only thing that I would improve would be a duvet. There was not duvet cover, just sheet and a blanket. It was quite cold outside and I was cold at night.

At the tender young age of 80 it was impossible to walk and carry luggage all the way to the hotel. We couldn't do it. Direction to the hotel didn't arrive until the day of checkin so we had no idea how impossible it was.

What a gem!

We loved our stay in Venice at this fabulous little gem we were greeted with a very warm friendly welcome as soon as the door opened everything was perfect at Residenza Veneziana breakfast was delicious and lots of fresh fruit meats croissants all lovely and warm and lovely hot and cold drinks room was beautiful very Venetian super location literally few minutes from St Marc’s square lots of places to eat drink and explore Venice we are already planning our return visit we enjoyed it so much lovely host so much knowledge and very helpful with lots of recommendations I highly recommend staying here to anyone!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. At first, we were surprised about the location because on the pictures it looked as if the hotel was on top of a little bridge but it's actually just at a little street. This was in fact a blessing because we had heavy luggages. When we rang the doorbell, Elviso came downstairs and lifted our luggages up. Once inside the room, I saw that he decorated the bed with Chinese characters wishing my mom a happy birthday, together with a complimentary bottle of nice prosecco and a lovely cake. The room was exactly as shown on the pictures, in old Venetian baroque style. The gondola canal view was picture perfect, it's beautiful and felt like straight out of a beautiful painting. The housekeeping service was also excellent. The breakfast is definitely one of the best I had. Location was also 3-5min away from San Marco. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice and I would love to go back there one day. Thanks!!

Great value and beauty of a property

Place was a bit hard to find, but the property was a gem. Close to San Marco Square about 500M from nearest water bus stop. The property was clean and perfect for us. The staff was helpful and friendly. Overall great value.

Just remember this is not a hotel with a front desk. Think AirBnB with property manager during office hour. If you are coming in late you will need to make prior arrangement with manage to pickup keys for a fee.

Awesome location, a little tricky to find but in a great spot. Close to everything- San Marco square, the vaparetto stop for many lines, lots of restaurants. Nice room, really nice bathrooms. Quiet location. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Small and quaint!

Amazing - we had the Interior view and the decor may not be to your taste but it was walkable from the train station (30 min and avoid the Rialto Bridge to avoid crowds when walking there). Our check in was absolutely amazing, with the concierge providing a map with amazing restaurant recommendations and breaking down where to go to travel to the islands or take the water bus. We had breakfast served to us in the room which was a great experience. 10/10!

We started our tour of Italy with Venice at the beautiful, quaint, yet spacious Residenza Veneziana and we were so glad we did! A wonderful room, lovely canal view, great breakfast, and very friendly staff made for the perfect beginning of our vacation. We loved the location - not right in the middle of things but only a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to see. The staff was generous and warm, and the amenities in the room made us feel right at home. We hope to return one day!

This hotel is beautiful and the people running the hotel are wonderful and very kind and considerate. The room was stunning and spotlessly clean, typical venitian styling with a super modern bathroom. The hotel was above and beyond our expectations and we hope to return again next year. The operating staff here is very accomodating, including a 11AM checkin instead of the 2PM norm, a free beer for a weary, parched traveller, and a local map marked up with dinner suggestions ( I used two and they were evcellent, and reasonable).

Small, Friendly Hotel close to Grand Canal

The staff went out of their way to help us with luggage, directions and facilities to make a cup of tea.
When we arrived there was only 1 large bed and we had asked for twin beds. They separated them and we then had the twin beds. The breakfast was sumptuous, and a bowl of fresh fruit in our room every day.
They organised a porter to take our luggage across Venice to meet up with a group when we left.

The hotel location is 5 minutes by foot from St Marks, the staff was fantastic , the breakfast was in abundance ,

The amenities were very comfortable, and the staff was charming and most accommodating- starting at check-in all the way until check-out. If you are consIdering staying here, do it!!!! Great location, lovely breakfast. Would recommend using the Ospedale stop if taking the boat too and from the airport and walking from there rather than using the San Marco stop as advised by the hotel, it’s much much faster

Quiet, Great location near to St Marks square & easy for transfers to the airport. Staff could not be more helpful. Room was a good size freshly decorated with a new bathroom with shower.
We went in early March, Cold but easy to get into the attractions & not to busy. I think the summer would have pretty horrendous. Reserve a table to eat as restaurant get booked up fast

Lovely hotel with delicious breakfast!

It's a little bit hard to find the first time (no signs outside, I imagine to preserve the original building) but the boutique space is really great! Looks expensive and renovated, and the \"Casanova breakfast\" is served right to you in your room each morning, which rules! Lovely staff and lodgings, plus their online directions from the vaporetto stop were spot on.
