The room felt very old and not worth the high price. I honestly don’t understand how this is considered a 4-star property. You expect a romantic Venetian stay, but the atmosphere is far from romantic - it feels tired and outdated. The hotel has a large living room, but it feels more like a museum than a palace, the kind of place where you’re afraid to touch anything.

The hotel clearly needs major renovation. Breakfast was disappointing—closer to an American motel buffet than authentic Italian fare, with no healthy options at all. Overall, it’s not a bad place, but it doesn’t deliver on the luxury or charm it promises.

This gorgeous property was in the heart of the downtown area. Close to everything, everywhere, but not right in front where the boats come in so it's a little quieter. Private water taxi is available to bring you to and from the property if needed. We stayed in the king suite with a canal view and it was amazing! 10/10 will stay here again!

I wanted to stay in a palace hotel on a canal and this didn’t disappoint. We stayed in a family suite which was a fantastic size for two adults and two children. Great location with a short walk to St Marks Square. Great restaurants in the area

Not great! We love the location..our second visit to the hotel. The coffee maker had an old pod left in it! The shower door feel off and the shower holder upper was broken. We reported this at 7pm and were told a colleague would go up and fix it. This did not happen…so that same night we advised again and were to.d someone would be up at 8am. We arose at 7am and waited! It was fixed during the day as we did go out! We were not happy campers. We will stay there again..there were other issues but ….

The front staff were quite disrespectful. The room they provided for us was also a mess. Light sockets and switches weren’t working. The blinds were broken and wouldn’t close. The fridge didn’t work. Their elevator was having a hard time. Until they fix a lot of things, I’d say save your money on this place.

The stay in liassidi Palace Hotel is well located, pretty close to city attractions. This hotel needs an upgrade. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, me and my wife had problems to sleep in that bed. The shower door was in really bad shape, there was mold growing in the corner of the shower pan. The small fridge make a noise . Ac don't work properly or doesn't work . No hair dryer.

Great location, only 5 minutes or so from St Marks square. Has a canal drop off if you come in/out by taxi. Drinks available in the courtyard. Staff really helpful for leaving bags and arranging a water taxi back to the airport. As everywhere in venice, really easy to get to anywhere.

What a wonderful stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking a canal, which was amazing. The bathroom was huge and well appointed. The hotel was ideally suited for walking to shopping and eating. A water taxi picked us up right from the lobby! Will definitely stay here again.

Room spacious, but could use a fresh coat of paint and new less hard beds. Water pressure fair, hair dryer from the 1970's. Towels nice. Other than the paint needed the room was clean. Would stay again

Beautiful little hotel, very clean. Our room had an amazing view onto the canal. Very convenient, just a few minutes walk from St. Mark’s Sqare and water bus stations. We had a suite, it was very well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, however not a great selection of fruit or veggies. Meat products served were all pork, and being that people from all over the world visit Venice, they should be more inclusive and offer chicken, beef or turkey cold cuts or sausages. If the breakfast is not included in the room, it is not worth spending 20 Euros pp for it. All in all we would stay again!

The staff was very kind and offered suggestions for bars and places to go. They set us up with a water taxi for a day trip to Murano and back to the airport. My only complaint would be that our room was rather warm with no way to cool it down besides opening a window. We were on the canal so it was rather noisy with the window open. Otherwise our room was very nice and the bed was comfortable, the court yard was beautiful and I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay. The staff were extraordinary, very helpful in making us feel comfortable in a brand new and very different city. Special shout out to Asst Manager Daniele Marzocchi. The breakfast room was lovely, with a nice selection of foods and a view of the canal dei Grecie.The lobby and courtyard where drinks are served is lovely, our room was large and beautifully furnished. It's in a great neighborhood, just a few minutes from St. Mark's but much quieter and hipper.

Had to book this property to extend my stay after my flight was rescheduled by the airline for 2 days later! The two gentleman at the front desk were very accommodating and graciously let me into my room early. They made what was a very stressful moment so much more pleasurable. The bed is comfortable, the room large for the area and the staff is friendly and tentative. Would definitely recommend.

This is an excellent hotel, right in the central area with all the restaurants and shopping. The hotel is in very good shape and the staff are very helpful. We stayed here for 3 nights on a family trip. We were given a canal view upgraded room and we had an excellent experience. The staff are always friendly and very efficient. The room was beautiful & comfortable. I had a lot of questions re: transportation. Richard & Stephanie were fantastic at getting back to me to answer my questions. The location is fantastic if you're interested in going to St. Mark's Square or Piazza. Lots of great shops, places to eat & places to see. They were able to set up a water taxi to the airport for us. Such a great place, can't wait to stay there again!!!

Front desk staff are friendly breakfast staff a lady rude and arrogant.We came down down for breakfast our first day and experience our worst ever treatment at a hotel ever anywhere in our travels she first questioned whether we had in our stay breakfast included which we did confirmed it at check in.
Then she ask us three more times by then she was been rude now our experience become even more unpleasant we ask for coffee and hot tea with a glass with ice before she walk off I ask if they had eggs for a omelette her answer was I ask for drinks and then once I returned I will ask about eggs (a simple yes or not would have been more appropriate) eating a small portion she and the cook we’re talking outside so I approached then and inquired about the ice so they brought it.
So we got up and started to walk out of the room she chased us and gave me a paper to signed with a figure of
30 euros which I did signed.
We spoke the front desk just to confirm again about our included breakfast which he did and explained to him what took place his answer was a misunderstanding which I said not on our part.
He proceeded to said that maybe she had a bad day I couldn’t believe that was a proper was anyone to said especially at the hotel with a four star rating.
My final comments are restroom is lousy faucet falling from wall which they fixed cracks on the walls maybe expected but not the mold on the three walls.
We will be deducting 30 euros for each days we stayed there except .

Great Visit to Venice.

We had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. We were traveling with our adult children and had three rooms, two of which they allowed us to occupy early when we arrived early at 10:30. Great location. Close to everything, but just far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. Being on a canal allowed the water taxis to pick up and drop off at the font door...a major bonus. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and reasonably updated (without losing the venetian feel). Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit.

My daughter and i were very impressed with this charming old world property. It was a little tricky locating it but that just added to the adventure. The bathroom with its three different walled windows and huge jetted bathtub was fabulous. As well, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay on our next trip to Venice!

We booked the Executive Suite and Romantic Suite for a two night stay. Both rooms were fantastic I loved the decor and we made the most of the Jucuzzi baths. The views from the Romantic suite were slightly better. The feel of the romantic suite and its size probably edge it in terms of overall wow factor. Breakfast was of a good standard and we enjoyed drinks in the bar. The staff were friendly and offered advise on restaurants etc. Overall a fantastic hotel within 5 minutes walk of St Marks Square.

Location was a little to the east of the center of it all, which was fine by me but others may not like. Staff was very professional and accessible. The only awkward moment was when we realized the suite we stayed in included a \"free taxi ride to the island of Murano\" to see the glass blowers. This was something my wife really wanted to see, so we took them up on it. Well, the water taxi came right to the hotel, and delivered us to the dock at Murano, where a gallery owner welcomed us, and personally showed us the ovens and a short demonstration of the skill of one of the local glass blowers. We asked why we were getting such personal treatment, and he replied it was due to his relationship with the hotel. Then he took us \"upstairs\" to his private gallery and offered us wine and beer, and began a high pressure talk about all the exclusive pieces in his gallery. We felt pressure to buy something, and these pieces had lots of zeros in their price tags, way beyond our ability of desire to buy. We had to politely explain to our host that the hotel must have mistaken us for filthy-rich clients just because we stayed in a nice suite. He took us back down to the ground floor, where a hundred other common folk were buying trinkets with two-digit prices, and we bought some inexpensive items and then told the owner we'd like to catch the taxi back to Venice. He got us the boat, which dumped us at a shore dock that was a thirty-minute walk from the hotel.... in the rain.

Very beautiful and located in a wonderful location. The staff was wonderful and the room very clean and updated. Our room was not in main building, and when not familiar with surroundings, not being located next to a lobby can seem uneasy. HOWEVER, it was so close and being in that building made you feel more like you owned your own apartment in Venice. We definitely would stay again, and look forward to coming back to Beautiful Italy again!

We stayed for two nights, my wife and I plus two children. We had a two bed apartment. The room was fantastic. Its actually not in the main hotel, its directly opposite the hotel, very spacious.

The hotel was right on the canal and we stepped right off of our water taxi and onto the platform that led right into the hotel. Our hotel room was on the top floor and had windows on 2 sides which gave us beautiful views of the canal on both directions. Piazza San Marco was a short 6 minute walk with plenty of shops and restaurants and cafes along the way.

The location could not be better. You can easily walk to major sites, good restaurants, etc. The suite is great for families, with one queen and 2 twin beds. The breakfast restaurant is very pleasant and the food was fine but without custom cooked eggs if that is important to you. The water taxi can dock right at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Check-in at this hotel took a bit longer than expected. When brought to our room, we found out that it was not the Junior Suite Loft that we had booked and paid for on Hotels.com. It appeared to be a regular room with one of the windows that strangely opened directly into the lobby. I went back to the front desk to ask about this mistake and the gentleman told me that my original room was already all booked out (he failed to mention this prior). He told me that the room he put us in normally cost more, although I somewhat doubt this. No views out the other window, just a wall. The gentleman suggested we contact Agoda for resolution or partial refund. We were also constantly woken up during the night to mosquito buzzing in our ear and even found some dead mosquitoes squished against the ceiling, suggesting this was a common occurrence for guests of this room. In the end, I was denied any refund when requested through Hotels.com, but Hotels.com made things right with a coupon for future use. Other than this issue, hotel staff were pleasant, but we felt we had been victims of a bait and switch scam.

Location was the best part about the hotel very close to St Mark square, restaurants, shops and had its own landing pier so taki boat was straight to hotel no carrying luggage over bridges. Room was a good size plenty of space and big bathroom but was very hot air conditioner was too noisy and old so didn’t use it had to open windows then got bit a lot by mosquitoes. Staff were friendly, breakfast okay not worth £20

Wonderful customer service and location. The team there was very nice. The hotel itself is a little older. We had some electrical issues in our room. However, the team accommodated all of our requests, the location was wonderful, and the view from our room was spectacular. The courtyard area was very nice. The private water taxi pick up straight from the hotel’s dock is a huge convenience and definitely worth the cost.

The view from the room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and modern. Unfortunately there was a pretty bad smell coming from the bathroom but it would go away after I opened up the windows. The hallways were a little dark and the doors were hard to unlock/open but those are details are easily overlooked after you see how beautiful the room is. The main disappointment was the fact that the hotel advertised itself as having an airport shuttle. However, the airport shuttle is simply a private taxi that cost me 130 Euros one way.

Great staff and the location , five minutes from St Marks Square is excellent. We were able to take water taxis direct to the hotel entrance which was really convenient with small tired children.
The restaurant only serves breakfast which was a shame, a basic room service menu would have been appreciated. We had an executive suite which was ideal for a family of four, unfortunately the entrance to the bathroom is quite low and I suffered a hash to my head banging into the doorway. Anyone over 6 feet will need to be wary. A sign or some other warning needs to be out in place.
We would definitely go back.

If you stay in Venice stay here, close to the main Piazza but not right next to it so it allows you to walk and discover a bit of Venice if you arrive by Vaporeto or if you take a taxi it has a direct entrance in one of the canals.

Rooms are big, amenities are good and the staff is attentive and polite.

Will definetly go back.

The room we got was actually located away from the hotel, which was not a problem, but the smell was very bad coming from the shower drain. We stayed at 3 other hotels in Venice, on the canal, with no smell issues whatsoever

The suite was very beautiful and spacious. With a in suite sauna which was a plus. The location was nice, in a quite area but it was easy to get around to everywhere. The bed was very comfortable too. The only thing I felt some uncomfortable was there was some smell from the bathroom or the paint from the walls, I was not sure but I felt some headache when I stayed there one day without going out. After I opened up the windows it gets better right away. Hope they could check it out. Overall,it was a very luxury suite which might not seen often in Venice.
