Strong showers, tv sucks, wifi is meh, telephone doesn't work, check in is weird but we got there early, room was ready a little late. Not at 3pm. Food was expensive in food court for like a fast food combo, so go somewhere else to get food. Tables were cheap enough. Blackout curtains were nice.

My room was on the first floor and the bathtub had no moat so everytime i showered it would flood the bathroom. and I guess the water would awaken the ye olde urine that was seeped into the floor because the entire bathroom reeked so strongly of urine that it was actually sickening. The casino itself was fun and the the staff was all very nice but the room itself was pretty disgusting, beware!

The entire hotel could use an upgrade. We waited for 15 to 20 minutes at times for elevators as two elevators were out of service and had been for quite a while. One of the staff said that that has been an ongoing problem for years. Totally unacceptable. The rooms were dated, but we kept clean. Could use better ventilation in the casino areas as you’re forced to walk through them to get to your room and for a non-smoker it was extremely uncomfortable. Your online check-in system did not work well at all as we completed the online system only to find out that we were not emailed a room key in order to expedite our check-in. We needed the services of one of your staff in order to get our room key. Not much point in advanced check-in if it’s not working???

Checked in like 3 times on the app.. room didnt come available until I was bumbed to stand in line for the desk rather than the key kiosk. A lot of the vibe was that they didnt want to help you unless they wanted to upsell you.

Will be watching my credit card statement. They took my credit card 3 times, including at check out. Not sure how many times they finished the transaction.

Late check in on a Friday night due to a long drive. Parking was miserable due to lower parking garage full. There is “Additional Parking” one level up but no signs to direct you there. Went to check-in and only a machine was there to do the process. No employee assistance or direction. Got checked into our room and found out our room had been switched to a tower room and not the pyramid. No employees, no service! Not a happy experience!

Clean room was about all I could say was good. They advertised a hot tub but it was in the spa and they charged $50 a day per person for access. Outside all exits there were people smoking pot and cigarettes inside the building. Just walking around you would get accosted by hustlers trying to sell you something.

Room was very nice, needs a little bit of work though. Stayed in the pyramid so the older part of the resort. The bath tub faucet is coming off the wall, the shower head is adjustable height for the holder but it was loose and wouldn’t stay where I wanted it, and the tv had a picture like it was a box tv connected to the antenna on the roof. Tv is not something you really need when you go on vacation so it’s not something I took into account with the stars. The room itself was nice, comfy bed, nice layout, nice furniture, and clean. The resort itself has a lot to offer, and the casino is laid out well. The staff I had the pleasure of working with were polite and helpful. Staying here again soon

The check in process was not the best.
It was a tablet ck in, then you wait for a text to then go to another tablet to program your own key cards. And if you have a question or need assistance with anything else there was another line for that.
Which I had to wait about 20 mins my turn for someone to program my room key to my parking that I had already paid for on the first tablet.
AND THEN my parking didn't even work.
I had to call service from the parking exit stand EVERYTIME.
We traveled with a group of friends and when asked if our rooms could be semi close to any of the 6 parties that were there. We were told no that the rms are pre-assigned.
The 6 couples of us were all scattered out at all 4 different points of the pyramid and we were not able to access each other's floors even, without a room/color key to that corner of the pyramid.

The rooms were clean.
No refrigerator
No microwave
No sign direction in the building to exit to the strip.

My bathroom hadn't been cleaned there was a dirty towel behind the bathroom door and hair in the shower on the floor and walls and all over the bathroom floor, I called when I arrived to have it cleaned and no one came as promised, it wasn't cleaned until check out time the next day

We stayed at this property 40 years ago when it was new. The rooms are still basically the same....dingy, dark, old furniture and curtains. Water in the shower took forever to drain. The elevators are scary. Pray you make it up and down on EVERY ride.

Underrated resort, amazing value, would stay again. It’s not the Bellagio but that is reflected in the price, don’t know what so many YouTubers are complaining about. Room was nice, clean, and up to date with a great view of the mountains. Elevators and a few public areas could have used a cleaning but it’s a small complaint. Lots of great exhibits and shows here and at Mandalay Bay which is connected by a skywalk with shops. Pool is being renovated but you can use the pools at other resorts while it is closed.

Honestly worst stay I’ve had in Vegas ever. Only one elevator was operable during our stay. Had to wait in long lines just to get to and from our room. No other way to get to your room from other towers.

Now I had to find a good hotel on a Saturday night in Vegas at 1 am in the morning. I ended up sleeping in my car. Worst experience ever

Hotel room was accessed between the hours of 1030 and 330 and our belongings were stolen waiting for security to access the data to see who entered the room… Our guess is it housekeeping because who else would go in the room? Also there was a DND sign on the door And the room wasn’t clean so there was no reason for them to be there. I would not recommend this hotel.

Las Vegas sucks! The Luxor is probably fine by Las Vegas standards but if the Luxor was your vacation destination in a normal city you would walk in and turn around and leave. There are only kiosks for check in. If you are elderly good luck figuring these out. Once you check in you will get a message, either via text or email, letting you know that your room is being assigned. You can do nothing more except stand around waiting for the next message to arrive with your room number. Once you get that message you can self generate your room keys at a separate kiosk.


If you are expecting white glove service forget it, this is you are the only hotel employee who will get you into your room. Once you have a room key you can wander around to one of 4-5 color coded elevator banks which are no where near each other. Our room was up the blue elevators.

The elevators are old and dilapidated. Lots of damage inside the elevators. The rooms are also old and show their age. The doors do not have traditional deadbolts.

If you like the smell of cheap cigarettes, stale cheap booze, piss, and maybe dog vomit stay at the Luxor. We could never identify the smell but it is everywhere. TBH it could just be the smell of Las Vegas.

If you want to leave the Luxor and “explore” Vegas everything is a minimum of a 40 minute walk one way. We spent 4 hours walking and only saw Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, and New York New York.

I expected more from a 4 star hotel - very disappointing. No fridge in the rooms, no coffee or tea . Water would be turned off in the middle of the night. On occasion we couldn't even get hot water out of the tap.
