Perfect location in Venice, right on St Marks Square. The hotel room was absolutely gorgeous, very traditional and spotlessly clean. It had absolutely everything you needed. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had and were happy to oblige. If we ever return to beautiful Venice I would definitely stay at this hotel, the location is exceptional, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay in Venice. The highlight was the incredible view of Piazza San Marco—waking up to that scene felt unreal and so special. The location is perfect for walking everywhere, yet the room still felt calm and comfortable after a busy day. The rooms were beautiful, the location was the best &clean. Here is what is not right for the price you will pay. No elevator, No 24hr reception and short walk to waiting area for the breakfast. Centrally located hotel to avoid walking much however carrying luggage up stairs is not acceptable. The beautiful picture of seating facing the basilica at breakfast time. False advertisement, it was my first question and was told the balcony does not exist. Breakfast is a block away at another hidden hotel.

This place is absolutely beautiful -it‘s like staying in a place! It is right off of the square, so extremely convenient. Breakfast is at a sister hotel, about a 3-minute walk. It‘s a little confusing to find because of all the odd streets & not being familiar, but Apple Maps works well. Overall great - I would happily stay there again.

It is served in a sister hotel. The cover photo of the balcony with the view is deceiving because it does not exist. Overall, it was an average stay.

Absolutely beautifully appointed rooms with a fabulous view! The only thing I would recommend to fellow travellers is making sure your room card is inserted into the wall slot and you have some patience before needing any water in the bathroom. Each time we needed to jiggle the card many times before we got water in the sink or shower. However, I like the concept. It means that no one’s ever left the room with the tap running. The breakfast room at another location had lots of options just bad coffee. All of the front desk staff were polite and cleaning staff honoured our do not disturb card on the door as we only stayed two nights and spent some time sorting our suitcases. We also made the most out of our short visit in Venice this hotel is located in the absolute best area.

There is nothing more incredible than opening your balcony and being right in beside San Marco's square. this location is the absolute best!! the room.. venetian design gorgeous! clean and beautiful! I dont know how we lucked out getting this balcony overlooking the square but I will never stay at another hotel in Venice again. This is my new fav!

This amazingly understated (from the entrance) set of apartments could not have been more pleasing. Wood panelled rooms, marble bathroom and silk wall panels all set to impress. And only 15 seconds (yes seconds) walk from Piazzo San Marco.
We could not recommend it any stronger to anyone looking to stay over in Venice for a few days.

Loved the location, the room, everything worked well. The only thing was the concierge suggested we needed a water taxi to get to the airport. This cost was $200. Imagine my surprise when a water bus arrived from the same location and we looked at the fare which was 36 euros for 2 people. Wish she would have suggested the water bus.

Mind absolutely blown by this room!! It was like walking into Downton Abby or a James Bond movie. In other words it was so gorgeous I couldn’t believe we were sleeping in it! We opened our balcony doors and there was St. Mark’s square. We could hear the caffe orchestras from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and helped arrange a glass blowing tour, water taxi included, in Murano. This is a must stay place for us whenever we go to Venice now!

Great location in St. Mark’s Square. Rooms are very nice, staff was super helpful, and views from room was pretty good. My only complain is that it seemed like online that there would be a terrace for us to go to get breakfast each morning. In reality it seems no such terrace exists, and breakfast is served at one of their sister properties nearby.

Property is located 20 minutes from train station- you have to take a water taxi or vapparreto (water bus) outside train station and then walk 10 minutes to hotel. It is right next to Saint Peters Basilica, in the square, its beautifully decorated and service was excellent. For the price, I was a little bit disappointed. Great location being right in the square, but the bed was basically unsleepable and the pillows were terrible! It sounds silly, but we expected the noise because we were right in the square but the beds need to be updated and with more than 2 pillows if they are going to be as thin as paper. We also weren’t told about breakfast or the mini bar/fridge in our room, but I guess that’s our fault for not reading the details when booking.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the center of Piazza San Marco. Tall ceilings, dark carved wood throughout the room, heavy drapes color coordinating the wallpaper. The bathroom was very spacious, water pressure in the shower was excellent and AC worked flawlessly. The decor- from the elegant chandeliers to the wood floors and bed frame- It has the venetian old style I was looking for and it is incredibly quiet for the location. We had 2 windows facing the Piazza and never were disturbed after 2100. The windows open fully to a narrow balcony yards away from the Basilica. Staff was friendly, multilingual and accommodating. Excellent hotel!

The hotel is adorable; one of those old hotels with old-style rooms. We absolutely loved the decor. The room’s size was okay and the toilet was nice. The room in general is clean and nicely organized. The toilet was villeroy and boch toilet, which is definitely not something you can find easily in Europe. There is someone in reception throughout most of the day until 10 pm. When we checked in we were told that checkout time is at 11 am but we requested an extension through Expedia and it was granted until 12 pm as most hotels throughout the world checkout guests at 12 noon. We also have a baby so it is hard to checkout earlier. The view from the hotel is amazing as it is like 2 meters away from St. Mark’s Basilica! The challenges with this hotel are: 1. No lift! So if you have a kid, or a wheelchair or too many suitcases it is a bit hard. They, however, took our suitcases to our room. 2. You’re not allowed to use an iron in the room, which is a challenge because as a tourist your clothes are folded in the suitcases for a long time so they are all wrinkled and you need to press them before you wear them. 3. We asked if the hotel can iron our clothes since irons are not allowed and they said that we need to provide the clothes at least half a day in advance and the prices are ridiculous. 14 euros to press 1 dress! Yes 14 euros, no mistake! 4. You have to ask them to change your bed sheets or else the will not change them! 5. No coffee machine in the room! This is quite weird as

The hotel location is amazing. It felt like staying in someone's house with high quality, very traditional, historic styling and decoration but with modern conveniences. A couple of small issues were dealt with very competently by the young lady receptionists who were all pleasant, polite and helpful, one of them in particular (Cxxxxxx).
