The City Residence Hotel is a really lovely Hotel, location easy to find, Reception staff Friendly, very helpful and courteous. The room was really well laid out, .comfortable and clean. Sorry no photos.

Very bad. No one was in receiption when we arrived we stay 45 minutes outside in the cold weather until one of the guest was speaking English and he was able to help us he called emergency number and was able to help us. If you don’t speak French you will face big problems.

used the hotel for an overnight stay before flying out of nantes airport. Can forgive the basic furniture as it wasn't expensive but the entire place needed a deep clean. At least the sheets were clean but I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the furniture. The fridge had not been cleaned either and the cooking pans needed replacing.

Plenty of space for 3-4 people. Quiet area. Room was clean, but the hallway carpet was disguisting. Washroom door did not lock. Location is not really close to anything except a McDonald's and grocery store. Wifi was terrible. Water is only available in the vending machine in the next building.

Great location if tracvelling by car and wanting to visit Nantes. A short drive to several supermarkets, restaurants and the tram into the town centre. Rooms were spacious with a kitchen, sofa bed and seperate double room. Ideal for families - lots of space. A cheap and comfortable stay.

Nice hotel but somewhat suburban location
There wasn't a whole lot to do near the hotel, but we were just staying for one night on our way somewhere else so it wasn't a problem. While the reception desk wasn't open the whole time we were there, there was a safe deposit box outside which made it easy to check in and out on our own. The laundry room is small (only one washer + dryer) but perfectly usable. Internet didn't work as promised.

Very surprised by the size and quality of the room when the price is taken into account. The facilities within the room were ideal for me, my wife and two youngsters under 10 and the decor was excellent. My only complaint is that the reception was not manned for most of my stay. Having said that, we arrived after 8.30pm and, although not there that evening, the instructions provided were very clear as to how to obtain our room key and they were in attendance when we checked out the next day.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place to stay although it is not that easy to find and has no restaurant facilities within the complex (although several nearby).

Unfortunately, the hotel-apartment is quite far from the centre-ville. It's at least a 15-20 min walk from the nearest tram station. Not handy if you don't have a car, especially if it's cold or rainy. That being said, the room itself for the price is really quite magnificent. It's beautifully decorated, and it has everything you'd expect from a home away from home (dishes, a stove, microwave, etc.). The bathroom and shower were exceptional.

Hygiène à revoir totalement. Le prix n'est pas à la hauteur de la prestation. En entrant dans l'appartement, les bords des lattes du sol en stratifié sont relevées par l'humidité. Cela peut être dangereux si on marche pied nu. Quand nous avons pris notre première douche, j'ai compris pourquoi. La douche étant bouchée, l'eau a inondé le salon et la chambre, ce n'était donc pas la première fois.
Une personne de l'entretien est venu essuyer et mettre du déboucheur chimique...
Toujours dans la salle de bain, l'état de propreté des tiroirs nous a dissuadé de les utiliser.
Ensuite le petit déjeuner à 10€. Passé 9:00, il n'y avait plus grand chose. Quand nous avons demandé à remettre ingrédient et jus d'orange la dame aimable nous a fait comprendre qu'elle était aussi à la réception et qu'elle ne pouvait pas tout faire.... (première fois que j'entends ça dans un hôtel).
Concernant le ménage dans les chambres, c'est consternant. Un paquet de poussière et de moutons sous les lits. Les rideaux ont des traces d'insectes écrasés et la tâche noire au niveau de l' aération de la fenêtre montre qu'ils n'ont pas été changés depuis très longtemps. Et pour conclure, on doit sortir les poubelles nous même (passe encore) mais si vous avez des cartons (comme nous lors de nos achats de souvenir) il faut les emmener à la déchetterie !!!!! 😈

Les appartements sont très mal isolés phonique et thermique . Tout est vieillissant, la literie est très dure et l appartement n est pas très bien agencer. Le seul atout c'est en période Covid on peut manger chaud avec la cuisine.
