The interior design looks and feels like you are at an elementary school. Breakfast buffet was great for a quick breakfast had enough options for everyone.
Did have an issue with the connecting hallway that the carpet was wet and smelled because water would drip from the celling. some one came too look at it but didn’t get fixed.

Ibis styles was excellent. Could not find any fault. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice and constantly being stocked up. Lovely clean, spacious breakfast room.

Hotel Location was good and was great value with having breakfast included. Stayed one night, room was ready as arrived half hour early.
The doors to the rooms slam shut loudly, and the person next to us kept on coming in and out of their room throughout the evening over a dozen times. Unfortunately the hotel could not do anything when I approached the person at reception. I asked to change rooms but was told they were sold out, when checking online rooms were still available. Other than this issue everything was good.

Great hotel in perfect location. 3 min walk from train station, 6 from airport shuttle bus stop. There is a small supermarket beside the hotel and if you want a last drink there is an Irish bar 3 min walk from the hotel. Less than 10 min walk to the main shopping area and about 6 to bars and restaurants. Could not have picked a better hotel. Breakfast is continental, ham, cheese, eggs, yogurt, fruit, breads and croissants baked fresh. Really enjoyed our stay there

Quiet and very well located
Practically brand new hotel, situated within a 5 minute walk to the train station and to the Duc de Bretagne castle. Despite its location, I heard no noise from my window. The heating worked well and the bathtub was immaculate - I could have taken a bath but did not have the time. It is well located to most of the sites. Breakfast was plentiful in a bright room with plenty of room. I would recommend and stay here again.

Nice accommodation but make sure you ask for a view otherwise you will get the roof which is just concrete and graffiti.

There is no parking for hotel guests. One must park across lanes of busy traffic in railway station parking facility (tight turns and narrow spaces. Then hotel offers discount rate at railway parking. Inconvient to say the least. Also, cannot drop luggage out of your car in front of hotel as there is a pedistrian area in front of hotel.

Opp from the main station, with the tram/bus stop just a short walk away. There’s even a small Carfour supermarket right next to it. Dining options, if u aren’t too fussy about it.
Breakfast is continental style, so please dun go expecting bacon, sausage etc. That said, options are varieties are great.

The AC was not sufficiant, we opend the window for some fresh air. Breakfast was a big sham, long que no buffet, you had to choose what you want in advance. Didnt like it at all. One person responsible for everything.

I chose to stay at this property for its very close distance to the train station as I was catching a train every n the morning to Rennes. Yet, another reason was to discover ibis styles for the first time. I cab tell it was a very pleasant stay in spite of the fact of t was short one, but I liked it all. The breakfast was exceptional. Go for it.

The hotel is in a good location and Nantes is a great city to visit. We booked a Family Suite via Expedia which was listed as having two double beds, and pictures showed a large room with plenty of space. However on arrival our room was a standard size and with just one double bed and a single sofa bed. Receptionist told me they didn’t have any rooms with two double beds and that I’d got the room I’d booked - despite me showing her the booking confirmation which stated two double beds. She agreed that the pictures showed a larger room but said she couldn’t move us. This was really disappointing. I was travelling with my autistic daughter and the extra space and comfort of a suite would have made a big difference.
There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there is an area in the lobby for this.
Bed was comfortable and plenty of clean towels.
Breakfast buffet was fine, although often very busy and with not enough staff to clear tables etc.

Excellent location, right by station for train/ bus to airport and tram. Easy 5 min walk into town or to the gardens. Excellent breakfast , crepes for kids, cereal, fresh bread and pastries, squeezed juice, coffee, yogurt, meat, cheese etc. Helpful, friendly staff who speak English, clean good size room, funky style, comfy bed. Overall excellent value and recommend!

First of all, the hotel is in a great location, and reception stuff were very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights here. Breakfast for us was very very poor. We got went for breakfast about 9am ish, and there was no hot food, just scrambled eggs that looks like porridge, and lots of bread to eat, not much else to select from. There was a bit of cereal, not much choice, and the stuff was more or less taking away what was left by 9.30am and after. Cocktails Fruits in the bowl did not taste nice at all. Breakfast was a 2/10 from me.
For the room, it wasn’t cleaned when we got back, and had to call reception for clean toilets to be brought up around 5pm ish.
The hotel reviews looked good, but my experience there, it’s definitely not as good as people said.
It was a good location for my morning run, as I could also go around the Jardin park.
Would I stay here again? NO.

The location is perfect for a city break. Room was quite spacious for a budget hotel. Building has had a complete refurb, so all was epic and span. Usual buffet breakfast choices, more than enough to keep you going through day. Their wee bar is expensive, but lots of opportunities with character and atmosphere a short walk away. Good advice from reception about places to eat. La Loco was excellent!

The hotel was modern, clean, and very welcoming. I was checked in promptly, and had no trouble finding my room. The room was clean and cozy, and had everything I needed - especially a comfortable bed to collapse into after a long day of travel.
My favorite part of the stay was breakfast. There was a great selection of food and drink, and staff were constantly tending to the presentation and restocking as needed.
I did have some trouble getting to the hotel, though. My taxi driver dropped me off at another ibis hotel, even though I gave him the actual address. I was too tired to catch the error, so I ended up walking around until I found the right location - not easy after 18 hrs of travel!!

Too much constriction work blocking off access - impossible to use Datnav and impossible to park nearby - 75 years old and carrying baggage too far is a no no!

Clean, modern hotel, ideally situated for the train station and the town centre, situated between the Jardin des Plantes and the castle. The Bouffay quartier, with plenty of restaurants is a few minutes walk. Staff were very helpful and professional, buffet breakfast was excellent. The room was quiet and well laid out, and was perfect for our family, with two young children.

A good place to stay, located just a few minutes from the train station. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was good with a view of the town. Interesting rates during weekends if you book online.

Really enjoyed our stopover. The only real negative would be the price of breakfast. 10e per person for me is a bit too much. It would also be more useful to have a tv remote in the room that allows you to change the tv language to avail of original versions.

Double charge for room booking on 14 Sept 2025
I booked 4 rooms for a group of 7 persons from 13-15 Sept 2025. The payment term was paying upon check-in, which is what we did.
Each room was paid separately by the respective guests. My room was paid using my wife’s credit card, although the booking was done using my credit card.
However, upon receiving our credit card statements, I found that my wife’s card was charged for the room on 13 Sept, which is correct. But my card was also charged for the same amount on 14 Sept. Therefore there is a double charge which I believe is due to the fact that my card was used to make the overall booking for 4 rooms. Please reimburse me the amount of 181.71 euros for the transaction charged on 14 Sept. As a reminder, we checked in 13 Sept and checked out 15 Sept.

Correu tudo bem. O staff do hotel é muito bem e falam ao menos inglês e espanhol, o que é muito incomum em Nantes. Também resolvem rapidamente qualquer problema.
O hotel é simples, mas atende. O pequeno almoço é bom.
A localização também é um ponto alto. Muito central e tem um Carrefour Express bem ao lado.
Para ir do aeroporto ao hotel, pode-se tomar o bus 38 e a seguir o 4. Pode-se pagar ao condutor diretamente.
O único ponto negativo é que deixaram faltar sabão de banho no último dia. O pessoal da limpeza deveria ter visto quando arrumaram o quarto.

Bon hotel et bon niveau de service, pratique car proche de la gare, même si l'environnement est moyen. Le personnel est très serviable. Un seul point négatif: le petit déjeuner est un peu décevant, les oeufs brouillés ont disparu de l'offre et sont désormais remplacés par des oeufs durs, ce qui est mieux que rien mais guère satisfaisant. Une suggestion: à l'instar de nombreux établissements, mettre à disposition un bac d'eau bouillante alimenté électriquement et des oeufs frais, les clients pourront se faire cuire leurs oeufs à la température souhaitée.

Superbe nuit à l'hôtel Ibis Styles Nantes Centre Gare.
Idéalement situé : à deux pas de la gare, du jardin des plantes et du château. La plupart des visites sont accessibles à pied ou via les transports en commun. (très facile)
Accueil formidable. Personnel très sympathique et souriant. La chambre était juste incroyable, très grande, très bien décorée et très propre.
