But Hôtel was being renovated and facilities were severely restricted
I think it is the responsibility of all parties including on sellers to declare this at time of booking
Due to scaffolding the internet continually dropped out in the room we were in which was very annoying
Beautiful building and at some stage will be a great hotel just not at the moment

The staff at the hotel were pleasant, friendly and helpful. We had to change rooms late at night as the air conditioning wasn’t working. It was 28’ in the room. We were relocated to another room which was much better.
Parking isn’t on site but a NCP car park is about 100 yards away and is locked overnight.
Would stay again if we were in Nantes.

Good base for your trip to Nantes

A very good place to stay when visiting Nantes. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. Rooms spotless with modern facilities, larger than average French hotel rooms. Breakfast gave a good range of options. I particularly liked the selection of teas, with Japanese style teapots and the kids loved the pastries.

Would not stay here again. The first room they gave me was not even cleaned. Dirty toilet paper on the toilet, dirty, coffee cups, half eaten fruit on the table. I went to the front desk and they gave me a new room and told me that I would get the VIP treatment… That meant nothing to them I guess. New room was somewhat clean, but hairs on top of the pillow on the bed, and when I moved the pillow away, they were hairs under the pillow. That’s just gross. The carpets are old and ratty both inside the rooms as well as the hallways. my first dirty room had a window that opened, but my second room had a window that couldn’t be opened. The hotel restaurant had to Monterey options for dinner. I would read it a six out of 10. Overall the hotel looks like it was made into a hotel haphazardly. Things don’t make sense, including the lobby. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Amazing building and hotel!

Beautiful hotel set in the old court building in Nantes. It is very centrally located and a 2 minute walk into the shops, bars and restaurants.

Excellent self service buffet breakfast. Room was very spacious with a huge bed! Bathroom was quite small but served its purpose.

We'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a beautiful corner court of justice. The suite was spacious, bright and clean. The breakfast was disappointing- the omelet and French toast were similar to one on the airplane (warmed up / micro waved?) and it was difficult to get any attention from the staff as there were not many of them. Overall a beautiful hotel but a bit let down by the restaurant and lack of service

Nice hotel and the staff dealt well with the difficult Covid-19 restrictions. The air conditioning was not working in our room, but after talking to the front desk a couple of times they moved us to another one. None of the staff made any attempt to speak English, which doesn't bother me, but would be difficult if you have no French.

The best from the Radisson Blue in Nantes was the reception staff, especially Max, he was really effective and friendly. The hotel is well located at the Center, has a public garage available for parking next. The breakfast is quite complete. We only missed a bathtub in our room.

One of the better places to stay in Nantes, central location City Centre. Standard rooms on 3rd floor are without windows, only a skylight and are average 3 star. I booked the standard room and the air conditioner stopped working after the second night stay. Hotel staff promptly upgraded room which was 4 star quality and much better accommodations. Taxi pick-up from the hotel is quite slow. If you plan to get taxi service from hotel to other parts of town for meetings or airport, plan to book at least 15-20 minutes prior to intended departure to ensure a taxi arrives on time.

The Hotel needs a training programme

Front of house staff needed much more training. Extremely slow check in check out. We were presented with someone else’s bill and so were our friends.
The dining room staff left tables uncleared at breakfast time. At one point there was not one table that didn’t have used crockery and cutlery
There seemed to be enough waiters but seemed to walk around without seeing.
We did not see any kind of management around the hotel at all in any department. The bar staff were very slow sometimes no body in attendance and the same lack of training when it came to clearing tables.
Such a shame in such a wonderful building.

Very modern and close to everything

Hotel was fairly newly renovated and modern. Dinner was excellent and fairly expensive. Staff was excellent. Hotel is within walking distance of major attractions. The fitness facitlity was under renovation so we had to use a gym across the street at our own expense. No pool.

Great Location in an historic building

We stayed at the Raddison Blu Nantes for two nights. The hotel is housed in the old Palace of Justice building. The lobby is very nice. The rooms ranged from very small to large, so be sure to carefully research before you book. While the decor in our room looked like a business hotel, we found the bed and the functionality to be very good. But you do not go to the hotel for the decor. You go for the location. The hotel is within walking distance to all the interesting sites, the very interesting old city, the river, the restaurant district, and shopping. We would recommend the Raddison Blu and visiting Nantes, the birth place of Jules Verne.

The Nantes City Center is very very quite actually so this would be the best option to stay at considering the small town.. I was there for business so didnt spend much time but three nights... The hotel is amazing considering that we're in Europe and usually hotels there dont offer much comfort and luxury but its really a nice option...

It always bothers me when a hotel is trying to unload their less favorable rooms on guests. We booked a junior suite and were offered a room upgrade for another 40 euros when we checked it. Since it was only one night we did not feel like we needed a larger room and elected to keep our original booking. When we got to our room on the top floor we found that it had only a skylight type small window that we did not like. When we went back to ask for a different room we were very quickly given a room on a lower floor with two large windows overlooking a garden. This room was the same size as the room we were first offered and obviously available. why wouldn't you offer your better rooms first?! This is the kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in my mouth and would absolutely prevent me from coming back. The hotel is otherwise very nice and in a good location. Ask to see the room first and do not accept something you do not like.

Nice hotel but poor response to problem.

Good hotel but we upgraded to a business class room and on the second night at 11pm the room had a complete.power failure. Reception staff did not seem to know how to react. Obviously we were moved to another room but found the suggestion that we would have to pack our luggage and take it with us a little odd as we would have to pack in the dark. Contrary to their policy that if they cannot resolve a problem they offer a free night we had no such offer. I do not consider moving down the corridor in the dead of night a resolution to the problem. On our return we e-mailed the hotel with our concerns but we not afforded the courtesy of a reply.

A very grand building encloses a very comfortable hotel with very modern overtones. The recent refit has been done very well and our room included small luxuries such as heated mirror in the bathroom and plenty of lights for various moods etc. Fairly spacious with a desk available for working at. Free wifi, which is good. Staff were very helpful.
The hotel is pretty good for all the sites that you might want to visit, the furthest away was Les Machines but still only a 20 minute walk and 15 minutes to the old sector and a lot of the restaurants.
Only negative was the inefficient air conditioning when set at 19 degrees didn't get below 23!

We stayed here for the second time on 1 January for one night and decided to 'splash out' on a junior suite as we have 2 young children (2 years and 5 months) and knew we'd spend the evening in our room. It actually worked out cost effective as parking (directly in front of hotel – arrive early as space limited) and breakfast was included making it the same price as a standard room (plus parking and breakfast). As a bonus you get a free glass of Champagne per adult too with this room. If I had to find any fault, it would be the room service menu which is quite pricey. Breakfast, I should add, is very good and well worth going for. All in all, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful Hotel, and Beautiful City.

We are a mature couple returning to the U.K. after a holiday in Spain by car. Nantes was a good place to stop for two nights and wander through this beautiful City. This Hotel was in an ideal spot, and we found the staff all most helpful. One point would have liked to have had secure parking, as our car was full of items of great value to us. Thank you for a good stay.

Superb hotel in central location.

We stayed 3 nights here and could not fault it. The valet parking was well worth the 15 euros per day and took out all the stress of finding somewhere to park. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and spoke good English. The buffet breakfast included in the price was tip top. We had a business class room which was a good size, light and airy with a view over the square. the bed was enormous and very comfortable.

Grown up place to stay!

Trendy décor, comfortable bed, close to the city centre. Only bad thing was building work outside our window which started quite early, but this was not connected to the hotel so not their fault. Nantes was lovely too! Breakfast was quite pricy so we didn't bother with it but we easily grabbed something close by in town.

Impressed by the conversion from a Palais de Justice to a palatial hotel. A beautifully renovated 19th century building outside and a stunningly modern decor inside. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Always friendly and informative staff. Parking right in front of the hotel throughout our 3 day-stay. Affordable luxury which I recommend strongly. Close to main attractions and within walking distance to the chic and historic streets of Nantes.

Stylish comfortable hotel

Lovely building with comfortable and stylish rooms. Modern design in the bathroom was sometimes at the expense of functionality,. There was no shelf or tray in the shower where toiletries could be placed convenient for use while showering. Older people would not want to be bending down on a slippery service to pick shampoo, conditioner, etc off the floor. You canno fill the washbasin more than about 5cm deep. Valet parking inconvenient as you have no personal access to your parked car, and expensive at €15 per day. We did not eat in the hotel as the restaurant was closed on our first night (Sunday) and there is better value in Nantes.

Excellent service in this modern update of an old court building. Centrally located, but with limited parking. Quiet, comfortable room with both a stand-alone shower and a soaking tub with hand-held shower. While we do not have small children, I noticed a nice play area in the back.
