The hotel felt very secure, was easy to reach by public transport, very clean and great showers and comfortable beds but the noise from outside was horrible. First all the people talking, then loud music, shouting, people fighting and yelling at each other, bottles being thrown in the street. They provide free earplugs and you need them!!! I barely slept on both nights I was there.

While the Appart’City Confort was very centrally located to all the main attractions, and the room’s kitchenette was well appointed, both my daughter and myself hardly slept at all due to the volume of noise from the street! As well, despite sending an email to the hotel almost a week before our arrival, I received no reply regarding parking until the morning of our arrival, by which time I was already on the road and had no wifi. This resulted in us driving circles around the pedestrian zone for quite some time to find parking, which ended up being quite a distance from the hotel, rather than being able to utilize the lot which was only 400 m away.

Unfortunately it was the lake of air-conditioning and the noise from outside that let it down.
But if you want a central hotel near bars,restaurants and transport it would be hard to beat it.

Excellent location and exactly as described. Room and hotel facilities were great. Kitchen smelt of previous occupants cooking but this cannot be helped as no ventilation in the kitchen. The kitchen was separated behind a door so did not bother me.

If you are looking for a quiet and restful night then avoid this place like the plague!
I was unfortunate enough to get a room right opposite a night bar which obviously had tables outside. The noise level was incredible and the room was incredibly hot which the hotel clearly knows about but conveniently forgets to let you know before you are actually checked in and cannot review your life choices! No air conditioning, no problem, here’s a dodgy fan to blow hot air around you. Noisy student bar opened till the wee hours of the morning?! No problem, we have generously provided you with a pair of ear plugs!!
The last extra special add on is the smell of dirty drains throughout the hotel. A must stay in Nantes. NOT.

Intrusion of Privacy

Overall, we were OK with the hotel until one morning when someone knocked on the door. It was 9:30am on a Friday and we were not ready.
Two staff asked if they could enter the room to count the towels and linen, \"pour compter le linge\".
My wife was still in pyjamas, and we felt like a complete INTRUSION of our PRIVACY.
They touched the bed linen with their hands, they looked around the room as if they were looking
for something or if they were police. My regret was I should have asked for IDs before letting them in
or call reception.
Like I said, we were not quite awake, I wasn't ready for this, and this was so completely weird.
It felt completely unnecessary.
I have dual citizenship French and British, this wasn't a language problem.
I can't imagine how someone who wouldn't speak French could process this situation.
We have decided to never use this hotel group again as a result and waited over a month before writing this review.

Great room and great location, male receptionist was the only downside. Would shout shh when you would walk through the reception when you were just talking and laughing on your way through … staring at you all the time and making you feel dead uncomfortable

A mixed experience

The room was very noisy long into the night, since it overlooked some outdoor bars that had a rowdy crowd. The windows had double-glass, but the noise still kept us awake. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of the city and the room was clean and comfortable. Our hotels.com confirmation said we could check in at 3:00 but when we got to the hotel we were told to return after 4:00, which was inconvenient.

A pleasant stay in a central location.

The room on its own was small, and the bed was the cheapest I have stayed on, extremely uncomfortable. The area was terrible, as there was a club opposite that went on until approximately 0400, then kicked out into the street for people to stay around shouting until 0600. Of course, while this is nothing to do with the hotel, it is worth noting if you're not going there to party all night

The room is nice and spacious.The staff is really nice
Breakfast is absolutely not worth €11,90, which I didn't have to pay for because the hotel offered it to me as a good gesture due to the TV not working in my room.
So may restaurant in that road and Les Gleries Lafayette are less than 3mins walk to the hotel.

The hotel seems to cater better to business travelers. It was my first experience with a la carte hotel. I don't think I would use this type of hotels in the future for family trips. The room included a kitchen in which the dishes were not very clean and it was only equipped with the bare minimum . The hotel is located in a very nice area, with shopping, restaurants and lots of things to do.

The good:
- this is very centrally located - at the edge of the pedestrian heart of the old town, but close to trams, to the Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, to the conference centre...
- my room was bigger than often found in this price range.
- I found the room and linens clean.

The negative:
- the fittings and furnishings are very much on the budget end of the scale. Thin plastic shower screen, melamine chipboard cupboards (not always fitted squarely).

So: This is not the hotel for you if you want high-end fittings, but it worked for me.

This hotel is in an ideal location. Just 50 steps from the Bouffay tram station and a short walk to the train station. Staff spoke excellent English and my room was spacious and just the right temperature. Skip the 12 euro breakfast, though.

We booked a studio because we liked the idea of a kitchenette where we could prepare simple lunches from items purchased at the local market. Problem was that there was no table and chairs to sit and eat. For this reason, we never used the kitchen facility.

Another criticism is that the booking process over-simplified what was on offer. It wasn't made clear that the deal didn't include daily maid service.

Overall good value for money.

Worst Stay Ever! Never again!

Rudest staff ever! Made me wait 3 extra hours to check in for no reason other than it was funny to them. When I was finally allowed access to the room I reserved a week earlier at 7pm the room had not even been cleaned. Dirty dishes. No towels. When I told the front desk they said housekeeping had left for the day and the room could not be cleaned til following day. No one ever cleaned my room in the 2 days I was there. No shuttle service to airport as advertised. Complete disaster and the worst excuse for hospitality EVER!

Ideal, but for the disco....

The room was a good size and the furniture and fittings in decent condition. Could have done with a chair, rather than a pouffe.The staff were firendly and helpful and the location was ideal in being close to transport, sights, restaurants and bars. The only downside was the lack of double glazing on our window which was over the main entrance and faced a local disco, which started very late and went on until very early. This did not detract too much from an excellent trip.

This hotel was near all the attractions in the centre of nantes. Unfortunately, its located next to a club where loud music is played until 7 in the morning. The room was somewhat clean, i found the floor needed to be swept. since, we were staying there 2 nights the maid didnt come in to clean. The room is very hot at night especially with a big duvet and no sheets but if you open the balcony door your room will become a club with booming music. The breakfast was good for its price, they had eggs scrambled and hard, sausages and bacon as well as pastries, bread, and yogurt. In conclusion stay here if you are a hard sleeper looking for a place center for a very good price. Other than that, I would recommend the Appart'City that is just a short walk away from the centre, near the Tour Lu and is very quiet and affordable.

Great Hotel and great value for money. Location is ideal for anyone wanting to enjoy the old part of town with lots of resteraunts, bars and shops nearby. people with cars should be aware that it is in a pedestrianised area so no parking but there are several large carparks nearby. The only thing I can find fault with is that there was no air-con in the room.

Unfortunately, the Fête de la musique began the second day of our stay. We didn't realize the music group would be practically next to the windows of our room. They were not sufficient to block the volume of the sound. We should have been warned and moved to a different room in the hotel. We were unable to get any sleep!

A Pearl of a Pub

This is an apartment hotel. As such it has great facilities in the room (mini kitchen, queen bed etc). It is right in the heart of the city and within easy walk of lots of sights, shopping, restaurants and pubs. Nantes has a great relaxed style and this pub allows one to readily partake of what Nantes has to offer. Staff were great. Free wifi.

The only down side was that there is no car parking - but a multi-story car park is only five minutes walk away. About 13 euros per day - but even adding that to your nightly cost the value is still very good.

Nantes is a fantastic city and the Park Suites Elegance is right in the hub of things. The rooms are a good size and very well appointed, including basic kitchen facilities. Price is great. Very clean and great service. Our bed was very hard -not sure if that is the norm in all rooms. Also, there is no parking if you have a car - but undercover parking was only 5 mins walk away at 13 euros per day. Even when adding this to your daily cost the value is still great.

Downtown Nantes is completely torn up with street construction. After being directed to Hotel parking, 1 1/2 km away, we were able to find something on the street only 3 blocks away. No AC in the room, and opening the window exposed us to the drunken escapades of students and a rugby team who sang until 4:30 AM

Lors de notre arrivée, le réceptionniste s’est montré incapable de nous indiquer le nom du parking situé pourtant à proximité immédiate de l’hôtel.
De plus, lorsque nous avons demandé les tarifs, il s’est contenté de nous renvoyer vers une table derrière nous, alors que votre site mentionne clairement un tarif de 5 euros.
En tant que réceptionniste, il est essentiel qu’il puisse fournir ce type d’informations de base plutôt que de donner l’impression d’adopter une attitude du style « moins j’en fais, mieux je me porte ».
