Hotel has 4 floors with no elevator. We were on the top floor and it was hard work getting to the top after a busy day of sightseeing, eating and drinking! If this is an issue you can maybe request a lower floor when booking. Rooms small but fairly comfortable. No drink making facilities in room. Check in from 5pm, no chance of checking in early as reception is only open and manned part time. Breakfast was €8 and was plentiful. They have another hotel just up the road where luggage can be left.

We had booked a double room but on arrival were told we were `upgraded` to a 'Family Studio' in an annexe up the road. This room was at ground level but with very little daylight or any outside view, a musty smell and not well swept.
We made a complaint and the very helpful receptionist found a 'regular' double room for us straightaway in the main building. This room was fine and as we had expected to be given in the first place.

Very central location, professional and supportive staff, good value, my only concern was about the limitations of the place, which do not put anybody at fault: there is no elevator and the staircase is pretty narrow and winding, so, good luck if you have to move some heavy luggage as I had (but it's all in the description of the hotel and I chose to wing it, and it was more of an inconvenience, nothing really bad, but I also was on the second floor, no idea how that would have played out on the 4th) or are not very fit physically; and the interior of the hotel is a bit dated. But it is well maintained, my room and bathroom were big compared to hotels in the same category so, again, it is something inherited with the building, not a shortcoming per se. It is central, right next to businesses very close to Tour Bretagne, but at the same time it is pretty quiet inside of the rooms (although the door's closing mechanisms pretty much slam them if you don't pay attention), so, all in all, at the price I would heartily recommend it and would have no qualms staying here again.

This hotel is okay. My room was simple and clean, but it faced a busy street, and the only way to cool it was by opening the window, which was not really an option at night. Providing a fan would have made a difference. Also, even though it was a non-smoking room, it was possible smell cigarettes in the hallway and sometimes in the room as well. Even though it is on a busy street, it is centrally located in Nantes, which makes going out to explore convenient.

Lovely little hotel in great area, accessible to local sights, shops, food etc. Really helpful staff and great with us Brits who can't speak French! My only issue was noise in the hotel - old building means no sound proofing, so we could hear doors closing, footsteps, chatter etc. But I find these things are an issue with most hotels, so this is fine for a short stay. Note: lots of stairs so not good for people with mobility issues.

On y retournera ; bel emplacement proche du centre de Nantes avec du choix niveau restaurants au alentour. Prévoir un budget parking tour de Bretagne qui est raisonnable.
Réservation chambre simple, on a était surclassé en chambres triple plutôt sympa.
Les lits sont très confortable, chambre côté court donc au calme. Une des serviettes était tachées!!! Poussière sur les commodes et tiroirs, des traces au niveau des appuis comme les interrupteurs, poignées et wc.. Heureusement je ramène toujours des lingettes désinfectantes d'appoint.

Toujours des voyageurs qui claques les portes a 1h du matin. Pourquoi vous faites ça !!!

Très bon accueil des deux hôtels (Petit duquesne et Duquesne )
Le studio était parfait, il manquais juste un peu de luminosité et quelques soucis de reseau (wifi et mobile) mais rien a dire quand l'ensemble.
A mon prochain passage j'essaierai le petit déjeuner.

Abbiamo soggiornato per qualche giorno nel monolocale. La stanza dispone di frigo, microonde, posate, piatti e bicchieri. Non ci sono pentole o piani cottura.
É vicino a supermercati, negozi e ristoranti: la posizione é ottima.
Le pulizie sono fatte quotidianamente, salvo diverse indicazioni da parte degli ospiti.

El personal muy amable y agradable, resolvieron todas nuestras dudas. El hotel muy limpio y el desayuno es buffet libre, no tiene mucho pero lo que hay está muy bien. La única pega es que se escucha un poco de las habitaciones de alrededor.

Notre séjour avait plutôt bien commencé mais lorsque que l’on a demandé si ils avaient un parking on nous a répondu que non. Je peux le comprendre mais je pense qu’il n’était pas compliqué de nous renseigner sur l’endroit peu sûr où l’on se trouvait et de faire attention a notre voiture. Résultat: voiture cassée et vol de toutes nos affaires. D’après les personnes rencontrées dans notre mésaventure le quartier est très mal réputé et les voitures hors 44 très très régulièrement cassées et vidées de tout leurs contenus.

L'hôtel est bien situé et la taille des chambres est correcte. J'ai été très bien accueillie par le personnel de l'autre hôtel auquel on m'avait demandé de m'adresser en journée. En revanche, à l'hôtel Petit Duquesne la personne en charge du petit déjeuner soit n'était pas disponible, soit oubliait d'apporter la corbeille de pain, et était peu sympathique.

My room was on the fourth floor, but above that was the roof, so the room was very hot due to direct sunlight. However, there was no air conditioner. It was like a steam bath because we could not keep the windows open because insects would invade if we opened the windows. If possible, you should request a room on the 3rd floor or lower.

Ho avuto un fraintendimento al check-in in quanto va effettuato in un albergo vicino.
La struttura non ha ascensore perciò può essere poco pratica per chi ha bagagli pesanti.
