I booked this stay through hotels.com and when I was trying to check out in the morning, it was more of a hassle than anything. Between a language barrier and the notation on whether or not I had paid for the room (which I did, even showed my credit card statement), left a sour taste in my mouth. Room was small, as expected; the towering outside buildings made it feel even smaller, looking out the window. Location was great. Room was clean. I probably won’t return as a guest here or to France.

Dirty rooms, carpet was in blood. Ibis styles? Seriously? Smell of cigarettes inside the room. When I tried to open the window, it was blocked due to security. Not working ventilation. This is crazy idea to have closed window when room smelled like it was.

The staff working here are really lovely and helpful, lots of knowledge of the area! The hotel is nice but I think better for short stays. The rooms and amenities are quite small, toilet difficult to get to and the walls are very thin, you can hear everything from the corridor and neighboring rooms.

Basic facilities in good central location
Not actually located Place Graslin, this hotel sits in a quiet street opposite a couple of restaurants. I arrived early and staff let me check in at 11am, which was really helpful. They also gave me a local map and told me about things to do in the area. The room itself was tiny, right up on the top floor with a Velux window. The air circulating unit was a bit loud as it starts and stops; it sounded like a phone vibrating (I did have to check under the bed in case someone had left their phone behind!). Very thin walls, you can hear ever going on in the corridor. The bathroom was also very small and access to the toilet in a corner behind the shower was rather awkward. The shower had a blockage which flooded the whole bathroom, not a great experience. Buffet breakfast included, that was ok. No te/coffee making facilities in room but they are available to make yourself in the breakfast area during the day.

Friendly staff, who spoke brilliant English compared to our pigeon French! We had an adjoining pair of rooms, both with their own bathroom. These were a bit small but had everything we needed, although having to go down to reception for a cup of coffee was a bit of a pain. Lovely breakfast.
Can thoroughly recommend the Fils A Maman across the road for food in an amazing atmosphere. Nantes is just gorgeous!

Well positioned
We stayed one night and found the staff very helpful, room was clean but small. Bathroom was very clean and adequate for our needs we parked in the multy storey carpark nearby which cost €13 for 24 hours. There was plenty to see within walking distance and plenty of restaurants open. Breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

Ideal area at Graslin. We were given a choice of room - we opted for small but with air conditioning as a mini heatwave had hit. Very small but comfortable for our 1 night stay. Great staff, decent breakfast, good WiFi.

Initially, coming from the train station by foot, we thought it was out of town. But after arriving, discovered it was the perfect location for eating and sight-seeing.theroom was an okay size for a budget hotel. Really good sized shower in bathroom. Bathroom had a window, and was a good size. Comes with hand/shower/hair soap too. Breakfast is included, and is a buffet style, served in the seated foyer area. No coffi/tea facilities in room, must be taken from foyer, kettle is taken away when the door is locked (use a code to get in). Staff very friendly, and have a good grasp of English. They also spoke other languages (as specified by the flags on their name tags).

Ideal for city visit
Booked this hotel for a 1 night stay with family, as a stopover on way back to roscoff ferry port. Hotel was set right in the heart of the city. Sat nav essential to find it! Great location for shops and local sights, a 2min walk and you are in the town centre. Compact hotel with small rooms but comfortable, clean and modern with good facilities. Staff very pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was very nice, fresh with a good range. Only negatives would be room size and parking which is just a public multistorey car park which is 300m up the road, so not ideal if you have a lot of luggage.

Good central location, nice breakfast, room was very small - I think it should be a single, and very hot, our room when cleaned was short of towels on more than one occasion and did not have the fixed shower gels refilled. Staff were helpful at reception. I would recommend the other ibis 2mins away at place du royal instead although the hotel was not expensive and was not a bad hotel

A localização do Hotel é imbatível, mesmo no centro de Nantes, ao lado do mercado de Natal, próximo de comércio e restaurantes.

Come tutti gli Ibis, camere molto essenziali, non grandi ma ben arredate ed equipaggiate di tutto. Personale gentilissimo , sempre a disposizione e una posizione eccezionale. Proprio nel centro città. Non c’è un garage ma il parking Place Graslin è a circa 100 metri ed è comodissimo. Consigliatissimo per vedere questa splendida città

Heureusement que l’accueil est très bon car le confort est sommaire ! J’ai eu la chance d’avoir la chambre au RDC à côté de l’ascenseur. Elle n’a pas de fenêtre, elle est collé à l’ascenseur juste à côté de la salle de petit dej. Le matin vous avez l’impression que le café coule dans votre chambre... j’espère que les autres chambres sont mieux, en tout cas celle-ci ne devrait pas être louée.

Notre chambre était minuscule (9m2). Au premier étage, les fenêtres sont au même niveau que les sorties de clim, mais pas de clim dans la chambre : soit fraîcheur et bruit, soit chaleur suffocante et calme ... Il a fallu faire un choix ... Pas top pour un Ibis Style !

Deux jours en famille dans deux chambres reliées par un palier privatif. Des chambres très petites. Propres. Le gros point noir : situé en centre-ville, le bruit dès le matin à 5 ou 6 h. Les camions de livraison se succèdent. Bercé par le ronron puissant du compresseur du camion frigo, grasse mâtinée impossible. Grosse colère dès le matin !
