The hotel was perfect for our stay in nantes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfectly fine. Rooms were clean but some of the hotel could do with a refresh.

Hôtel situé à 2 pas de l’arrêt du tramway. L’accueil fut plus qu’extra avec JADE.
Avons bénéficié de son sourire et sa gentillesse (café et biscuits) durant nos 3 jours. Notre chambre était parfaite, spacieuse, lit confortable, salle de bain propre, située au 5è avec vue sur la place Royale. À proximité des restaurants et des endroits à visiter. À noter qu’à Nantes, les transports en commun (tramway, bus, bateau) sont gratuits les fins de semaine. Un extra!
On recommande cet hôtel.

Rechecked in after getting back from Nevers France. The room assigned on 2nd floor was a bit small but I was happy as wifi was better compared to three days ago. As usual, clean and comfortable stay. Breakfast was fairly okay with limited selections. Staff are lovely.
TIP: Nantes bus and tram are free on weekend. If arriving to airport on Saturday or Sunday, take bus 38 towards Greneraie, get off Pirmil or Pont Rousseau - Martyrs stop, transfer to bus 3B towards city centre (hotel dieu stop). Alternatively, tram 2 or 3 from Pirmil or Pont Rousseau towards hotel dieu or commerce. But at present Tram 2 and 3 pirmil and Pont Rousseau are under construction. So best to take Bus3B.

Great location

Great location in the centre of the city near Place Royale. Easy to walk to all the attractions and close to the tram.
Very comfortable bed, the rooms are a little tired looking though.
Breakfast is a continental with a nice choice of items.
The staff are very nice and so helpful.

Brilliant location and fantastically friendly staff. Very small walk to and from the airport bus. Location is in the city centre with lovely bakeries, restaurants, shops and bars within minutes.
Only minus is the rooms are a little tired decor-wise, but immaculately clean, comfortable beds, bath as well as a shower. Fantastic value, will book again.

I loved this place and i am usually picky..

I recently stayed at Hotel Ibis Royale and had an exceptional experience. The hotel is impeccably clean, and they offer convenient luggage storage. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were incredibly friendly and available 24/7 to assist with any needs. My stay was so perfect that I decided to extend it by another day. The location is incredible, and my room had a stunning view of Place Royale. Highly recommend!

Central location in the heart of Nantes

Perfectly located with all the sights within an easy walk. Also only 2 mins from the tram stop which made the journey to and from the airport very simple. The hotel is a little tired, with poor internal sound insulation, but comfortable enough. I would stay there again if I was thinking of taking another tourist visit to Nantes. Wherever you stay, go visit Les Machines de l'ile and ride on the elephant and carousel - haven't that that much fun since I was a child!

The hotel was nice and did what I expected. The problem came when I booked an additional night. I told the staff I'd done this and asked if I could keep then same room, which they said I could. When I came back that day at 3pm the room had no bedding and was clearly being cleaned so I left for 30 minutes to come back and find it the same. I spoke with reception who said the cleaning staff had gone for the day so I'd need another room but that they couldn't arrange then for another hour. When I came back the room had been cleaned. Maybe I'm being too harsh, I don't tend to expect to wait an hour and a half for the cleaning but there we are.

This hotel is in the heart of Nantes and has everything at it's door. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have liked was the ability to make a cup of tea in my room. The downstairs lobby area was very small and not private. The breakfast buffet was great and the staff were very helpful.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room is clean and location is near to lots of shopping and tourist attractions.The only poor experience which is not working. Staff was willing to reset router on first day, and it worked. But subsequently it does not and need to have the router reset but they did not want to. The problem is the congestion which is not offering a valid IP address. For a person like me who needs it frequently, a wired connection would be preferred. If you need internet access, avoid this hotel. Otherwise it is good.

Best possible location

At less than 2 mins walk from the airport bus stop and all the tram lines, there is no better location! Rooms are definitely on the small side but there's good storage space which helps keep the room looking tidier. A very good breakfast is included in the room price, unlike most other hotels in Nantes.. Overall, we considered this hotel excellent value for money.

Ibis Style Ibis standard. Ideal stop off.

This Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of town with everything within walking distance.
Check in was very quick and staff very helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The new Ibis style hotels are fitted out with bright and somewhat flash furniture but I dont have a problem with that. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and efficient. No parking at the Hotel but ample nearby.

You get what you pay for

Well located hotel but the room was very small. Air conditioning in the room was totally inadequate which meant opening the window and the street was very noisy. They advertise free bottled water in the room. We received one bottle (and there were 2 of us) the first night and they said it was only for the first night. Reasonable rate but hotel should not rate 3 stars. No parking and you have to drive many blocks to get to nearest parking.

great location, shame about the lack of sleep

My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location is great, situated near the buses , shops etc.
We were sleeping at the rear of the hotel which is very close to a square where people congregate for
lunch , dinner and a general catch up.Its great during the day, at night a lot of noise as people seem to stay here after leaving the bars until the small hours. We are not light sleepers, after a few drinks it was still impossible to get some shut eye.

Great hotel!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and it was within a reasonable walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. There is also a tram stop nearby so it is easy to ride the tram if you don't want to walk.

Great location, great staff, but a bit noisy!

We were visiting friends in Nantes and decided to pick somewhere nice and central and got a great deal on this hotel.

The hotel is ideally located right in the heart of Nantes, literally at the 'Commerce' tram/bus terminus and within a few meters of the Place Royale and the quirky and restaurant-laden, Bouffay area. The tram system also gives you very rapid access to the railway station and there are bus connections from 'commerce' to the Airport

I would also highly recommend a trip, on foot, to the île de Nantes and \"Les Machines de l'ile. This is an art centre based in a former shipyard. Artists and engineers work together to create amazing machines including the famous mechanical elephant which is about the size of 4 London double-decker busses! There centre also includes many other smaller machines which would remind you of something from a Tim Burton movie (i.e. Nightmare Before Christmas). It's really well worth a visit and is one of the quirkiest tourist attractions in the region.

The Château des ducs de Bretagne is also worth visiting. A short walk from the hotel, this ancient fortress has been turned into an extensive museum. It tells the complete story of Nantes, warts and all, covering everything from its Breton history, its architecture, to its dark and shameful connections with the slave trade, it's role in the French revolution, World War II, its industrial heritage right up to modern day France. It's a very interesting way to get a true sense of Nantes, Pays de la Loire and Brittany.

The hotel is also right in the middle of Nantes' main shopping districts. For a city its size, it has an amazing array of shops which are as good as anything you'd find in any European capital. I would highly recommend it as a shopping destination if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Paris.

The hotel room was quite generous for a French city centre hotel and the facilities were good. There was also an excellent self-service breakfast bar which provided a nice selection of breads, pastries, coffee, tea, cheese, yogurts and even a orange-juicer machine for perfectly fresh OJ.

The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful and did their best to make our stay as nice as possible.

The only drawback of this hotel is that it is right in the middle of some of Nantes' busiest night spots. So, there is quite a lot of noise outside at night, particularly at the weekends. However, that tends to be the trade-off for staying in a truly city centre location.

I would highly recommend this hotel and a visit to Nantes, which I feel is a very underrated and overlooked city. It's well worth a visit!

Tips:
There is a laundry/laudromat located just across the tram tracks at Allée Dugauy Trouin (which is just on Cours Franklin Roosevelt) 2 mins from the hotel.

J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel Ibis Styles Nantes Centre Place Royale dans le cadre d’un déplacement professionnel (meeting), et je suis très satisfaite de mon expérience.
L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre, ce qui facilite les déplacements à pied et l’accès aux principaux points d’intérêt. L’accueil a été chaleureux et professionnel, avec une équipe disponible et à l’écoute. La chambre était confortable, bien insonorisée et parfaitement adaptée pour se reposer après une journée de travail. Le petit-déjeuner, inclus, est varié et de bonne qualité, un vrai plus pour démarrer la journée.

En résumé, un hôtel pratique, agréable et bien situé, que je recommande autant pour un séjour professionnel que pour une visite touristique.

Si le personnel d'accueil était sympathique, celui de restauration était carrément froid. Passé l'entrée, l'ascenseur s'ouvre sur des couloirs plutôt glaudes et vieillissants. Si ma chambre était propre en l'état, la moquette était parsemée de tâches suspectes, la circulation peu aisée (étroite), et bonus ultime le radiateur installé juste à côté des toilettes. Ultra pratique et méga confort, y a pas à dire. Côté petit déjeuner, choix plutôt classique, mais des vieinoiseries sèches et du pain plutôt fade. Bref à éviter.

Idéalement située (en plein centre ville de Nantes - quartier commerce), donc pleins de commerces et restaurants ce qui est très pratique. Le personnel est gentil et accueillant. La chambre est propre et la literie confortable. Décoration un peu vieillotte mais ça ne dérange pas plus que ça pour 1/2 nuits. Déjeuner avec peu de choix mais ça suffit (il y’a quand même des fruits frais!)

Séjour d'une nuit à Nantes. L'hotel est très bien placé en plein centre-ville. Un parking payant est situé non loin de là. Bon accueil. Nous avons été prévenus, l'hôtel était complet et nous risquions d'avoir un peu d'attente au petit-déjeuner. La chambre est correcte, un peu défraichie et une petite rénovation ne serait pas superflue. La salle du petit déjeuner est en effet petite avec des tables pour 2 personnes et elle était bien remplie. Le petit déjeuner est très satisfaisant.

Très bon accueil, chambre calme et propre mais un service petit déjeuner déplorable ouvert de 7 a 10h ! Je vous conseille de mettre votre réveil à 7h30 afin de bénéficier d’ un buffet rempli et gourmand car a 9h30 …, il est vide ! Dommage de terminer un séjour sur cette touche la ! Heureusement l’hôtel est est à proximité de nombreuses boulangeries !

L’hotel è vecchio, probabilmente mai rinnovato dagli anni 80.
Le parti comuni lasciano a desiderare quasi quanto il personale e la colazione.
Non è previsto parcheggio.
Al nostro arrivo ci e’ stato detto che se avessimo voluto la pulizia della camera l’avremmo dovuto anticipare la sera precedente perché il personale è molto indaffarato (?).

Très déçu par cet hôtel Accor. Il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel Ibis Styles comme c'est indiqué sur le site mais d'un vieil hôtel (All Seasons) qui n'a pas été rénové. Le mobilier de la chambre date des années 90. Chambre petite et sans confort. Que dire de la salle de pdj à l'étage -1? Petit-déjeuner dans une salle au sous sol n'est pas très judicieux. De plus, la salle est bien trop petite. Bref, fuyez!

イビスのなかでは1番過ごしやすいホテル

改装されたのか、部屋もとても綺麗で過ごしやすかった。クローゼットに棚がついていたのでとても便利だった。また電子レンジがロビーにあったのでレストランが閉まっているこの状況ではとてもありがたかった。ただ、部屋の電気が少し暗かった。

À quelques mètres d’une station de tram centrale, accueil sympathique, le décor mériterait un coup de frais, mon matelas était très mince, et le petit déjeuner en sous sol à ce prix là c’est plus acceptable

Comodità e convenienza a Nantes

Abbiamo trascorso qui cinque notti: hotel in posizione strategica per raggiungere tutti i luoghi più importanti della città, a due passi dalla fermata della navetta per l'aeroporto, ma anche vicino alla stazione ferroviaria per escursioni fuori città. Camera ampia e pulita, qualche piccolo rinnovamento andrebbe effettuato solo agli accessori in bagno. Ottima prima colazione, personale gentile: consigliatissimo.
