The room was pleasant with a hot water pot and tea and coffee which helped us start our day. The location was perfect. Close to Piazza Navona, Giolitti's, and Pantheon.

First, learned that there would not be a receptionist at the hotel when we arrived, but an envelope that was supposed to have two key cards and a set of keys. We arrived exactly when we said we would arrive. There was only one key card. We inserted the key card at least 100 times and the door would not open. We called the 24 hour helpline and complain that we did not have a second key card and the key card that we did have was not working properly. She insisted we were doing something wrong yet we were duplicating exactly what she told us to do. Eventually, something lined up and the door buzzed, and we entered the hallway which was lined with garbage bags. Which was not a very nice site. We entered our room and it was icy cold the shower door hinges were off, and there was only a thin blanket on each bed. We called the 24 hour service again and requested extra blankets and the second key card once again. At this time, the lady unloaded on us finally she said there was a sliding door in the hallway and I could find blankets as needed. And I did so after we unpacked, we went out for the evening and when we came home once again, we could not get into our apartment. This time, howeverthere was a message on the 24 hour service number to call the police if nobody answered. I left a message saying if we did not hear back. I would have to call the police. Eventually, I had no other choice. I called the police. It took them an hour and they had the same problem. I want my $ back!

Brilliant stay. Excellent location to walk to all the main attractions… including the Vatican. It is about 49 minute walk from Termani. Hard to locate from outside but it was hidden gem. Perfect location. Basic room but perfect for city break clean, kettle, hairdryer and safe in the room, air on. Definitely stay on our next trip. Owners very responsive on WhatsApp to questions and room clean and towels changed daily

The property is on terrible condition, super small room with mold everywhere and very poorly maintained. The faucet in the bathroom sink was leaking and at the main entrance of the building there was no lights so I had to let them know the bulbs where out!

There was construction on the building across the street which resulted of workers making loud noise from 6:30am.

The little alley that is located is very dark and not very safe during the night. The reception operates from 7-3 which isn’t a hotel normal reception is just located within the building on the 1st floor.
Very pricey $250/night for 1 person and the room wasn’t even worth $50 dollars. Very disappointing overall.
There was room service cleaning daily and clean towels. As for the breakfast they give a piece of paper to order on the day coffee and croissants to bring to the room.

Worst service I have ever experienced

Booked a one-night stay. When I got there, there was no one at reception, just 2 envelopes with other guests' names taped to a locked door. Tried calling numerous times, no answer. Another couple--one of the two envelopes--showed up, but the key-code they were given didn't work and we were all waiting around for an hour. Eventually, I gave up and booked another hotel nearby. The single most atrocious service I have ever experienced from a hotel.

Perfect location!!!!! It was the best. A few steps away from castel san Angelo, piazza navona, pantheon and trevi. Everything was so close. Lots of cute restaurants around. We went to Lagana restaurant 2 times cause food was great. Went to 2 rooftops, Borromini and the best one was 9hotel Cesari.

Staff of the hotel was super friendly, but check-in was confusing. Breakfast is included, it was great, i just feel i needed some fruits though.... bread everyone morning. It was really good and great coffee.

My only downfall for this place: the very strong perfum smell when we checked in. I had to have the windows and ac open to aerate. And still. Took days to get rid of. Plus, the hotel burns incent, probably to get rid of bad odours and people smoking. If you like incent you'll be happy. But even my partner made comments on it. It was quite intense.

Would definitely stay again anyways!!!! Because of how the location and conveniency of the place.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is not what I call a hotel more serviced bedrooms. That was not a problem for us but I was expecting more facilities. The signage is not great. Just a really small wall plaque. Luckily the buildings are numbered too and that helped.

Outstanding stay Imperium suite Navona. Lucia and team made the stay superb. It is a stone's throw from both the Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. As central as you can get without the noise.

So the hotel it was dirty ,walking around in white socks and they got very dirty, it had been a long time since they mopped the floors.They ran out of hot water several times, some had to take cold showers. The Stubbs bathroom floor flooded. I have to say the beds were very comfortable.

Front desk does not have someone on call all the time. I had a vault issue which was addressed the next morning but was not successfully addressed when I needed it...because the only dialogue could occur through WhatsApp and not in person. Anyway, the front desk gentleman that was there in the morning was very helpful. Also the Navona room is in the lobby, so it can be noisy. Room was very clean and bed comfortable.

The hotel was hard to find, I looked on trip advisor and someone kindly posted a picture of the door.
The hotel was quite small and relatively quiet. I slept well, the bed was reasonably comfortable, didn’t love the big thick hard pillows but that is my personal preference!
Helpful staff, though not always present but a WhatsApp number was available to contact if needed.
Breakfast was unexpected but delightful of fresh coffee, croissants and bread.
Location was the real winner with a short 3 minute walk to Navona

Really good location. Our AC/heat unit was problematic so with 2 days left, we were moved to another room. First room had a very strange layout, second room was better but had had a dog with its folks in that room the night before and I’m allergic. Staff was easy to work with, especially housekeeping.

A difficult review, I'll touch on the good and the less so good...

I knew it wasn't really a \"proper\" hotel. Reception is only open until 3pm, except by arrangement. There is almost no central area or anywhere to sit except in your room, and no other facilities there. It's 7-8 rooms, on the first floor of a 5-6 story terraced building, on a small/narrow street that wasn't easy for our mini-bus to drop us at, and the return didn't even try.

Our room was OK, but the bathroom was tiny, the shower the smallest I've ever seen, but they were functional. Our bed-sheet and duvet each had a dirty stain that I should have asked to be replaced.

Breakfast was timely, but awkwardly served on a tray to the room. A near-warm coffee, juice, some funny biscuits, some nice rolls & lovely cakes & lots of jams, peanut butter etc, and 2 hard-boiled cold eggs. Yet no napkins, knife, fork, spoon, plate except what was already in the room. There was no milk for the in-room coffee/tea either.

On the plus side, the a/c worked well; the staff were very friendly & helpful; the \"hotel\" is in a great location, with many Top 10 attractions just a 5-10 minute walk, and almost all others up to 25 mins away. For what we paid for the room (a bargain package), in *central Rome*, with \"breakfast\" supplied, it was good value!

The bad points didn't spoil our stay, though I'm glad we stayed just 4 nights. Would I return? Probably not.
Worth a stay on a first budget Rome trip though? Probably.

Great location for seeing all of Rome!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Great central location for exploring Rome's top sights. Staff friendly and helpful, served a croissant buffet breakfast each morning to your room. Really enjoyed our stay would stay again.
Be careful of the walking street sellers in Rome in general, we were caught out where a man gave me a bunch of roses making out they were free and then expected money from my husband, a bunch of people were doing the same with bracelets they will put them on you before you realise, if you don't want to pay then put on the floor and walk away.

We booked this hotel not really knowing much about it, just by finding it on travelocity. In my opinion this hotel should not even be travelocity or any travel site. for reasons as follows.
It is not a real hotel building. It is only the second floor of a run-down building with other uses. It was difficult for our taxi driver to find. once in the building it was dark the lights in the hallways are always off and we had to turn on- they are on a timer and will turn off after a few minutes. The elevator is extremely small and awkward. it was easier to use the steps. Our hotel room had a bad smell, the room was dated and in need of upgrades. the bed was uncomfortable. the internet was extremely slow. it was also way to small for 3 people and no room to bring in a cot. the TV and receiver was difficult to use. We were only in the room for about 3 hours before canceling. I booked a different hotel within walking distance and moved out. The manager would not even give me refund for my 3 nights book as their policy is no refund. I would have been happy with 2 nights refund as we did use the room, bed and shower for the few hours we were there. I am Generally not one to complain. I really try to make the best of everything but this hotel was really uncomfortable overall.

Overpriced accommodation, not a hotel!

I must start by warning those who have not travelled to Rome that hotels in Rome may not be hotels at all! This is not a hotel. It is a number of en-suite rooms in an apartment, with a reception desk. I made this booking on the phone with Expedia. I explained to Expedia my requirements and this was the suggestion I received based on the customer reviews. A friend of mine stayed in a 3-star hotel within a 3-minute walk, on the same days, that cost less and was significantly better than Imperium Suite Navona. It was a proper, nice, well-designed hotel (for a lower per night price!). Imperium Suite Navona is located in two residential buildings. We entered the opposite building, which had the accommodation name - Imperium Suite Navona - on the bell, walked up and down with our suitcases in a building that was like a maze. We knocked on the doors and no one was opening. Finally, we found the door with 'Imperium Suite Navova' on the door, knocked and no one showed up. Then I opened one of the building windows and found a man in the street, asking him if he knew anything about the hotel. The men told us to go down and enter the opposite -N19 - building...
The taxi that the place booked for us never arrived to pick us up from the airport. They did not even apologise for this.
The rooms (we had two rooms) were very tired and unpleasant, with absolutely no daylight, dirty bedcovers, wrong sized toilet seats. I regret booking this accommodation which is very far from being a hotel.

The staff was extremely unprofessional and gave our room key to another guest, not an employee, to retrieve a spare bed which we were completely unaware of. Luckily we were in our room at the time but were very disturbed by their inability to see how inappropriate their actions were.

I was excited about this primarily because of the location. Don't be fooled by the photos, though; it is not as nice as it looks. We walked into the building where the \"late check in\" protocol is a key left under the carpet. It felt unsafe due to the fact that anyone can enter the building. There were trash cans in the hall right outside of the apartment which seemed unsanitary. Upon walking in, the windows were wide open and even when closed and locked were not sealed at all. I opened the cabinets in the kitchen and saw bugs crawling across the shelves immediately. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and everything smelled musky. We only even stayed there one night because it was 2:00am and there was no other option, but we were out of there first thing in the morning. The company refused to refund us anything even though their online portrayal of this place is completely deceiving.

The man who was working during my stay was incredibly unprofessional and rude. As soon as I arrived at 8am he refused to give me the breakfast that I had already paid for. He also said he would be in reception at a certain time so I could get my bag, but did not show up to let me in thus I was left waiting for another person staying at the hotel to come back by chance and unlock the door. I nearly missed my flight. He had a terrible attitude and rude demeanor which made my stay very unpleasant. The room was also very small and dirty.

We were really disappointed with our stay at the Imperium Suite Navona.

We stayed in the studio apartment which looked great on the photographs but we were very upset to find that the photos are not an accurate representation of the rooms at all.

I don’t know how we would have found the hotel without Google maps and asking the restaurant owner next door where it is. It’s simply a small doorway with no signage so this needs to be looked up beforehand.

On arrival the member of staff who greeted us was very nice and allowed us to store our cases in the room before 2pm while it cleaned it ready for our check-in. However when we arrived later in the day I was very upset given all of the time and money spent on the room given it was not at all like it looked on the photographs. The room was very dark, damp and dirty.

The bathroom seemed to have a leaking toilet as there was always a puddle of water on the floor behind it, the shower was also very small and the shower head didn’t stay up when you got in the shower.

We went to look at the kitchen and all of the cupboards need fixing and it looks very old.

There’s also a room at the back where the wardrobe is and a second dining room table, but there’s no light in this section and it’s one of the darkest points in the apartment.

After we’d used the shower on the first night to get ready I went to the reception to ask if it would be possible to look at any other rooms they had for us to move to, but they were full. We were offe

The hotel lacks adequate identification from the exterior. Also they need to fix the interior access door to the rooms. It was very difficult to open. We ended up locked out for a while and the attendant was away from the desk therefore we sat out waiting for assistance. Finally the twin bed provided was terrible it folded in half in the middle of the night while my son was in it.

We have stayed here many times now and we like it very much and it is excellent value for money (if you don't mind not having all the usual hotel extras e.g restaurant, overnight reception, etc).. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable (although perhaps needing a little redecoration) and the location is excellent.

Bit of an off-putting entrance in the shape of a dark hallway with bins. However the hotel itself was fine. Breakfast was great, there was plenty of room, and the bed was comfy enough.

Negatives we would say include the fact that our room was right next to the check in desk (Literally about 1 meter away). The jacuzzi bath we were promised in the advert turned out to be fake. The bath had the jacuzzi holes and knobs however these were not connected and were just for show. I also could not sit on the toilet properly as the wall is slanted diagonally so i couldn't fit my legs in properly...

Despite this the location was incredible. Under a mile to the majority of attractions and the furthest landmark (Collosseum) was only 30 mins walk away. I would stay again for the location and breakfast. But the room could be better!

Nice but noisy hotel in the heart of Baroque Rome

Nice and small hotel very close to Piazza Navona. Room a bit too small for two persons but quite ok for a single traveler. Unfortunately the air conditioner was too noisy for keeping it on during night and some pinging noise came through from outside at regular intervals during the whole night.

I loved this place! Location could not be better!

Staff was so helpful, nice and spoke English. This is a BnB style don't expect a hotel which we loved. Not that hard to find, taxi cannot get to door easily though very small alley. Just get dropped off at piazza navona fountains and walk upward only about 3mins. Room was clean, safe, updated, stylish, smaller but perfect for a couple, big shower, has a fridge and safe, the Colleseo room was the name of ours and had the best shower ever. Bed is hard, but the blackout shades allow you to knock out asleep. Our room was only on the second floor, very save and secure building. They brought breakfast daily at 8am which for 2 of us was a lot- 4 flavored crossaints, sandwiches, toast, cookies, juice, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. I only wish it changed every few days after 2weeks we didn't want it anymore and fed the homeless with it. The room has a great espresso machine, supplied with goodies, tea and a hot water kettle too. For the price I was very happy and would stay again!

We had the studio apartment. As others have said it can be difficult to find as its just a buzzer entrance. However, it was quirky, basic, clean etc and did everything we needed it for. The location is worth it. You are within walking distance to all main attractions and the building is tucked away down a lovely wee quaint alley. If your looking for luxury don't book. But if you want basic accommodation in an excellent location book away. I would certainly use it again. We had a wonderful time.

Dark, damp room on the ground floor

The room was on the ground floor, with a restaurant right outside, complete with noise. The walls were damp, crawling with silverfish insects and untreated mould. The kitchen units were white laminate chip board that had a peeling veneer and old dirt still sticking. Cupboards had limited and poorly cleaned crockery. Bathroom had filthy grouting and a lime-encrusted shower head. The suite has a strange, suspended mezzanine that prevents the use of proper ceiling lights and so the room is dimly lit with side-strip lighting and low wattage spot lights stuck beneath the mezzanine. The bedstead was damaged and the mattress was of a very soft and thin camping design. Bedding consisted of a black satin-feel throw, a duvet without cover and a simple thin flat sheet. Not all plug sockets were usable and the bedside lamp broke on first use. The television only has two intermittent channels and the internet connectivity was abysmal. The front door required 'a trick' to open which came in the form of one of us needing to essentially swing of the door to pull it tightly closed enough in its frame while the other jiggled the already bending key in its lock until it opened. One night the door failed to open and whilst the staff attended to us within half an hour, it is hardly ideal to be locked out of your room! I travel very frequently to Rome and other places for work and this was one of the poorest accommodations in which I have stayed.

Perfect location

We just stayed here for a week, best location. Everything to see in perfect walking distance. This hotel has 6 rooms, small and clean. Breakfast was served everyday to your room which was boiled eggs, croissants, fresh baked bread, jams, yogurt and orange juice. Coffee and tea were in the room at all times. Piazza Navona was about a block or two away. We only used the room at night as we wanted to be out in Rome as much as possible. If your looking for a spectacular view and spend time there this may not be the place for you.

Nice Stay

Nice clean hotel, close to a great deal of sites. They mean it when they say call if you are going to be late for check in, after 9 P.M. Call so you can get everything, keys, set up before hand. They staff was very helpful, easily understood, and very pleasant.

Annual Rome trip

Been to Rome many times and stayed in many hotels but this one was one of the best, lovely staff, great room, quiet and nice breakfast. Read a couple of reviews moaning about it being difficult to find but find that hard to understand, with all the ways of navigating these days that's simply bad planning! The hotel is literally seconds away from the Piazza and lots of shops and things to see and do, ideal for the Vatican etc. Definitely going back, most likely in June as we liked it so much, well done.

Fantastic location

When we arrived at night the bus could not get down the cobblestone roads so dropped us off on the main road. We then had to find our way through a maze of alleyways in darkness until a lovely lady pointed at a green door which was our hotel. When the door opened we entered a pitch black corridor and went up the stairs to reception. We stayed in the superior room attached to the reception and could hear everything -although after full days exploring Rome sleep was not an issue! The location was fantastic and we were able to walk to all the points of interest. The breakfast was ok and arrived at the time we requested every morning. Hotel staff couldn't do enough to help.

More of a B&B than a traditional hotel, but great location, clean facilities and friendly staff. We contacted the hotel in advance to confirm our late arrival and the owner was waiting for us, even though we were very late. They also arranged a transfer to the airport on departure at a very reasonable rate for a private taxi

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful the only down sides were the room was dated and had chips and paint missing on some units.
The pictures on the website didn't reflect the rooms on display.

Good location, shame about the accommodation

We booked this because of the quirkiness of having bed on mezzanine level and thought that the photographs of the apartment looked lovely, how wrong we were. Bed no longer on mezzanine level, dining table in its place. Bed moved downstairs with couch pushed right against it meaning the bedside cabinets were now under another table under the mezzanine stairs as there was no space at either side of the bed. This meant no lamps and main light switch was nowhere near the bed. Bed now under window and headboard up against wall next to common close entrance which meant every time door slammed you were disturbed. Apartment was damp and musty. Shower head and toilet seat broken, as well as one of small lampshades around bathroom mirror. Electric sockets appeared very old. A staff member let us see the bedrooms which were all nicely decorated and quite modern, broken items were reported and the staff member's comments on the apartment were that although it was big, it was not very nice! Staff were nice and the extra pillows we requested were provided. When we asked about the breakfast that was supposed to have been included in our booking, we were told this did not apply to the apartment. However, staff did provide us with yoghurts, biscotti, jam and milk. Although we did not let the state of the apartment spoil our enjoyment of the beautiful city of Rome, we were very disappointed with the accommodation.
Until the apartment receives some TLC, avoid it!

We thought we were going to a hotel but it was a studio flat. It had one small heater, exposed brickwork with peeling paintwork. Also 2 large dustbins in the hallway and no lights on. Although it is advertised including breakfast this was going to be delivered to our room and we had very little choice on offer. Also the owner was only there until 9.00 p.m. when everything was locked up. We could not possibly stay there and had to find a proper hotel which incurred extra expense. This was our first visit to Rome and started very badly.

Convenient and peaceful stay

Piazza Navona is only like a minute away-the hotel is in a quiet street, but it was a bit difficult to find it as there are no signs to indicate the hotel. It is more like you are entering a normal building. The exterior is definitely nothing luxurious.
The room was a comfortable size for two people and has hair dryer, tv and basic facilities. The breakfast is sweet and consists of croissants, bread, coffee, jam and so on. It is served in the room and was included in the price. We had a room close to reception but it wasn't actually loud. The room was clean. If you're looking for a basic, comfortable stay in Piazza Navona then the hotel is a good option.

Central but that was the only redeeming feature.Could not be considered a hotel,no features such as dining room or lounge.
The . (FIRST ROOM ) we were given had soiled bed cover,scuff marks all over the walls and damaged furniture.The 2nd room was a little better although the duvets were badly stained..
Breakfast consisted of a yogurt a roll and butter and a croissant and a mini carton of orange juice.No plates no cutlery,
delivered to our room on a tray.No table to eat on.
Considering that we booked a deluxe room with king size bed and two single beds with continental breakfast we found this
accomodation disappointing in the extreme.
We have booked many holidays through you over the years and on this occasion feel let down.

Ok Hotel but impossible to find

The Hotel is ok and clean, but almost impossible to find as the location is in a really small alley without any signs apart for a tiny sign on the building entrance which it get lost. On top of that when we found the Hotel we found a notice saying \" I will be back soon\" and phone number which we try to reach and went straight to voice mail....the whole experience was just awful and make our day in Rome unpleasant.
Room are clean and a kind of stylish. Breakfast was good but need to be eaten on the bed as no restaurant facilities

Great location.

The hotel is in a very nice area and close to great restaurant, bars, and the Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish steps and Vatican. The staff was very kind. However the rooms were not what the pictures make them out to be. Furniture was old and almost everything needed updating including the bathrooms. Would recommended it if you plan on spending all your time outside.

Great location.

Signage is nearly non-existent so fortunately a guest was leaving just as we were looking for the entrance and he figured we must be looking for the hotel (he probably had the same challenge we did).

The location is very good and just a few minutes walk from the Piazza Navona. Rooms were small but clean. The most off-putting part of the room was the bed -- old comforter, flat pillows and the mattress was not all that comfortable.

Had an excellent visit to Rome. Have stayed at hotel before and all was very good except provision of breakfast Please suggest that Hotel change the cafe they use for breakfast - they were rude and offensive. They are the one reason we would possibly not book here again in future.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

This is review for an apartment in Imperium Suite Navona. I previously stayed in the hotel room in Imperium Suite Navona and liked it a lot because of the location. The room was also updated and cute. This year I booked an apartment belonging to the hotel assuming it will be as good as a regular room just bigger. What a mistake that was! The apartment was terrible. First of all it is located on the ground level of the building with a single window facing an outdoor siting area of a restaurant next door. At night while you are in your room you hear people conversations directly in front of your window. People also smoke in front of your window and all the smoke gets in your apartment so you get to enjoy that too. When you don't smell cigaret smoke you smell MOLD big time! The apartment is above ground but the smell of mold is very strong. All bedding and furniture smells very bad. My booking conformation stated that toiletries were provided. For my 5 night stay in the apartment my family of 3 was given 1 little bar of soap and 1 little of bottle of body wash. After that I was told I have to buy my own toiletries and toilet paper! The apartment had kitchen with a sink and clothes washing machine. There was no dish soap, laundry soap or dish towel provided! Basically there was nothing provided in the apartment besides an old can of an instant coffee. We had to clean the apartment ourselves as well.

Hard to locate, dark stairs & room, not clean, shower tiny with difficult doors, unstable toilet seat, air conditioner broke with water spill, no staff on premises at night, noisy, required cash for payment of taxes.

For the price range, highly recommended

The hotel is perfectly located just north of Piazza Navona. Just south there is a taxi stand & the Piazza is constantly busy with events, shows, displays, and great people watching. Location is also perfect for all the sites you want to see to the east & the Vatican City to the west making it a great home base.

The rooms were small but clean. Beds not the most comfortable when I'm used to my double pillow top @ home, but most beds in Italy aren't all that great so it wasn't any worse than others. Some may not be excited about the lack of elevator (one person elevator on site) but I found the tiny elevator fascinating and the inn keep was more than gracious in helping w/luggage.

Others mention the hotel being hard to find. Go on google earth and plot your route prior & you'll have no problems at all.
The rooms don't have a view per se, but again it's all in your perspective of how you view things. In the picture below you'll see it actually can be a cool & pretty view in a different sort of way.

The most important thing I have to say about this hotel is that I accidentally left my credit card. I didn't even know it, but they called immediately to inform me. As we were already on the train to our next destination they kindly offered to send it to our next hotel @ no charge. It was received the following day & they even called to confirm it was received. Honesty, integrity, & not looking for additional charges goes a long way with me. I was highly impressed.

Dirty room, no housekeeping, room was rummaged

Our flight was late so we had a late heckin, they charged us $15 Euro. The room was dirty, I took pictures. Linens and couches dirty, with white spots. Extra blankets felt rough, looked worn and never washed. The bed was suspended from 4 chains loft style. The roof above it was so that you could not stand and the ceiling was dirty, stained and had holes. Overall very very creepy. The online pictures are obviously false and used staged furniture. Not one time in a 5 night stay did they clean. On one day we are confident they rummaged through our stuff as we left for the day leaving our suitcases in the same place as always and when we came back they had been moved to a table and were open. Yet they entered but did not clean. The kitchen was dirty. Utensils had mold. I have never been mosguided by the expedia reviews until now and am shocked anyone would rate this place more than a 1. We had the first door coming into the building on the right. A suite supposedly where nothing was sweet about it. We felt creeped out the entire time. Staff is not friendly but not overly rude either. Breakfast was never offered or delivered although I likely would not have eaten there. Overall creep, dirty and dingy place. Great/ideal locatioN but truly that is it! Do not stay here.

ok hotel but overbooked us

We stayed at the hotel last week and found it was very hard to find. No real sign out front and you have to get buzzed in. We were told that we had to move hotels for the first night because the internet wasn't working in the hotel... We said we didn't mind and would just like to get into the room we booked because we had plans be following day and didn't want to waste our day moving hotels, he then said the AC and toilets weren't working in the room so he had to get it all fixed for us. (To me it seemed that they overbooked us and he was just trying to back peddle). The result was we had to go to a different hotel for the night and switch back to the other one \"when the rooms is finished being cleaned\" (which is also why we thought it was overbooked, or else he would have said fixed). All in all we were disappointed that they shifted us around for the night. After the long day travel to move hotels twice within 24hours and on top of that we had to cancel our day trip to amalfi for the day after So that we could bring our stuff over to the other hotel. No real apology and pretty rude about the whole thing.

Hotel itself was nice. Rooms are dated and it seems they try to hide this with newish bed linens.. But we're a decent size and clean. Great location as well.

In the heart of the old city ...

The moment the White Taxi started to roll, the driver said he would charge us 60 Euro to the hotel. It is printed on a board at the airport that it is supposed to be 48 Euro. That is why we took the White Taxi. But we did not want to argue with the Taxi Driver to ruin our Roman Holiday! When we complained to the hotel manager, they called the White Taxi company. They could not get to them, so the hotel gave us 10 Euro -- \"We want you to have a positive memory of Rome.\" Somebody loves Rome as all Romans should, especially the Taxi Drivers. We walked everywhere from the hotel, that is how close it is to all important sites. We loved it so much that we would always stay in this hotel.

Very Nice Experience

We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood is fantastic, surrounded by tons of great restaurants just far enough away from the main tourist attractions to avoid crowds but close enough to walk to them.

Service and staff were excellent. Loved the touch of them bringing breakfast to your room each morning.

The room was small which is to be expected and the bed wasn't overly comfortable but overall I would highly recommend to consider staying at this hotel if you're traveling to Rome

Excellent location, close to all the sights

The hotel is situated in the lovely historic part of Rome, 2 mins from Piazza Navona and 5 mins from the Pantheon. We were able to walk to all the sites - Vatican in 25 mins, Colosseum in 30 mins, and took the bus to further away places such as the Catacombes de Priscilla and Porta S. Paolo station. The best part of the hotel is definitely the location.

Imperium Suite Navona is split between a few buildings. Our room was in a building just opposite the main building but felt safe with three locked doors leading to our room. The room itself was cool due to air con (very important at 40 degrees outside!) and had good facilities - excellent shower/bathroom, large television, good-sized bed, and refrigerator.

We took the hotel's shuttle to and from the airport (expensive at €55, but cheaper than a taxi). We opted for breakfast, which was okay. It included tea/coffee, juice, bread (with spreads) and croissants. The breakfast would be improved with options for cereal and fruit. It is brought to your room at a time of your choice.

You get what you pay for .

Upon check in the manager at the front desk was not helpful. Wanted us to leave our luggage in the middle of the \"lobby \" unattended . The wifi did not work upon check in, neither did the to phone so we had to walk outside across the alley in the rain to get help. This hotel is located in the back of alley , so if you are female travelers I would not recommend staying here. It is very close to piazza novona and The rooms are updated and clean .
