Family oriented all inclusive resort in beautiful Albufeira. The water slides/pool area was fantastic. Breakfast/dinner buffet was great, lunch options lacking a bit. Staff was very attentive. Would easily stay here again for a wonderful family oriented vacation - If not travelling with kids, would avoid this resort.

This hotel gives cruise ship vibes, so if you don’t mind/like cruises, then this is for you!

Great for kids - very good pools and facilities! Our room was massive and very comfortable, could do with a little maintenance (ie scratched doors and paint).

The food was like a cruise ship too - buffet, not the best quality, but would stumble upon something delicious.

Great location! There’s a vibrant strip heading down to a beach. You are about a 5-8 minute drive to old town which is incredible.

Overall, I would stay here again. My 2 year old son loved it 😊

This place is amazing FOR FAMILIES! If you can't have a great family holiday here there really is something wrong with you... not the hotel. It's spotless, endless activities, wonderful pools including a quiet/no music/inflatables pool. There is different theme for food ever night with reliable basics to go with it. Nothing is too much trouble. The kids entertainment team is like from another planet, they clearly love their job and go above and beyond everyday. The spa is great and very reasonably priced. This was our 2nd trip and certainly won't be our last. The pool is 23c.... if that's too cold it's your issue... it's 30c air temp. Our room was cleaned daily, big spacious and well maintained rooms. Our safe battery had run out, fixed within an hour. It's definitely not for people wanting a quiet/child free trip.... it's called 'Jupiter family fun'

The rooms are adequate all seem to have a good sized balcony, shampoo and conditioner provided in the bathroom.

It does have 10 floors, with a roof top balcony which gives amazing views across the town. However, no food is allowed up there which means you can’t settle in for the evening and enjoy them for long.

It has 2 pool areas, which get very busy, but sunbeds are always available. The snack bar by the main pool doesn’t really offer much. Would
Be good it had burger/hotdogs rather than just ice cream and crisps. (and soggy sandwiches).

The pool bar is good.

In general the food is good, and the restaurant is efficient.

This hotel is NOT a 5 star what so ever, we always try to stay 5 star where possible and wanted a quick flight from Newquay to Portugal to save our usual Bristol trek, this however backfired with a very average stay at this hotel, the gym was poorly equipped with no air con making it impossible to work out at any time of the day, the food was the same every single day all barring a change in meat every other day, the room rarely got cleaned and the standard of the room cleaning was pretty bad at best, most of the staff were pleasant and friendly but some were very miserable and didn’t appear to want to be there, and to top it off we got food poisoning along with others on the last 2 days, sad to say not the best hols we ever had but the marina and old town we loved so may come back but to a different hotel.

Had a great time.
Not too far from the beach, but there is a hotel bus for transfer. We didn't take the hotel bus, instead took a taxi.

Not much night life close to the hotel itself, but the strip wasn't too far by taxi 5 mins.
Hotel is eco friendly.
Elevator 1 E could do with some maintenance as it was bit noisy.

Hotel was very busy with families with children. Had a great time. Lots to do with the kids, pool water slides, day and night entertainment also rooftop bar available.

The all inclusive package this hotel offers made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Felt like I was fed like a king for the 4 nights I was there with buffets provided around the clock. There were activities to keep everyone entertained.

Really good facilities for kids, the variety of pools with splash zone, kids pools, and slides were great. Comfortable rooms that are very spacious. Food in the buffet restaurant was ample and varied, with lots to choose from, albeit not my favourite part of the trip - the a la carte restaurants however were very food.

Overall stay was very positive, lots of daily activities for kids to do and enjoy. Only minor negative was the food, it was almost same breakfast everyday with no variety. Lunch and dinner had bit more variety but in all i would rate the food average.

Beautiful modern hotel with fantastic facilities, the pool/slide area is great. Never been all inclusive previously but stayed for 4 nights of a 14 night trip and found the food selection varied and a great quality. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The room was spacious and spotless with a very comfy bed. It was a great place to take a young child before moving on to an apartment. We both had excellent massages and used the spa area which was decent. Had a really memorable stay, our 2year old loved it and we have booked to go back in September this year

Pros: Fantastic for kids, with plenty to keep them entertained. Great pools with enough space and loungers available (visited in late September). The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our child's food intolerances. The massage was excellent, and the staff were generally very helpful throughout the hotel.

Cons: We stayed in a family room on the 3rd floor, but the view from room 304 was disappointing. The rooms don't appear to be 5-star quality— the shower head and area need replacing, and parts of the cupboard were broken. The interior was very basic and uninteresting. Overall, the room didn’t feel clean or fresh when we first arrived, and the bathroom had a foul smell throughout our stay. The food was boring and lacked the variety we expect from a 5-star hotel. We didn’t try the two restaurants, which, to be honest, we kind of forgot about because they weren’t well advertised. They felt hidden in an inaccessible part of the hotel, even though they weren’t. It would have been nice if they had promoted them more during our stay.

If you have children and want to have the best holiday experience, Jupiter Albufeira hotel will not disappoint you. The activities here are endless, especially the swimming activity and waterslides. Kids will have hours of fun.
The foods here are delicious! You’ll be spoiled by choice everyday. Usually buffet foods can be ‘average’, but not here. Freshly cooked and is constantly topped up.
The staffs are all wonderful! Both friendly and professional. I have been to many big brand 5 stars hotel. Not many has given me this unforgettable memory. Jupiter Albufeira hotel is now one of our favourite hotel now, and we will be planning a return very soon.

This hotel is tailor made for families as advertised and is good in most areas however I did notice a potential problem with the room balcony. Obviously parental responsibility should be paramount at all times but feel that the air conditioning unit situated on the balcony would give a small child access to climb on it and breach the safety rail. It is possible that a chair on the balcony can be used.to do this. We were on the 8th floor but noticed all rooms have these units. If the hotel doesn't know about this they should. An fatal accident waiting to happen.

The hotel was great for children. The kids club was great. The entertainers were very attentive and the activities varied every session and this was twice a day. A morning and afternoon club. The mini disco and shows were excellent too for children. Water park - pools and slides were great.
It is about 45 - 60 minute drive from Faro airport. The hotel arranged the transport but you had to pay the driver in cash (Euro). Food had great variety and the freshness was amazing. The Spa was okay but not to the quality you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Overall worth it if you have children.

Overall, we had a great stay.
Pros: attentive and professional staff, prompt service, cleanliness of hotel and room, room insulation( for a hotel packed with kids, we never heard a peep while we were in our rooms), activities for kids, hotel shuttle that brings you to Old Town and the beach, variety of food, hours that meals were served, attention to detail (toiletries for kids, pillows for kids, water fountains and cups in every floor, kid-sized toilets and stools to reach the sink in the Kids Club), Kids Club, proximity to restaurants and bars

Cons: pools were freezing (we ended up using a wetsuit for our kids), food was sometimes cold, I had diarrhea on my last night. I thought it was just a one off then but I’ve been seeing many posts on the Facebook page for this hotel that others have experienced food poisoning… I was fine by the next morning so it wasn’t a bug and I didn’t eat anywhere else, having to pay for bouncy castle and go-karting at an all-inclusive.

I would return to the hotel. Hopefully the food situation would be resolved by then.

We enjoyed very much! the kids had fun in a safe environment. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and work hard to keep the hotel clean and guests entertained. The food was very good, divers, constantly replenished, with a seperate kids corner. For the kids it was also easy to get their snacks, drinks and ice cream whenever they wanted at different spots. The rooftop terrace has a nice view. We enjoyed the (interactive) shows in the evening. There is also a daily/frequent (free) shuttle to the beach/old city.

Overall a satisfactory experience (5/10), but I would certainly not call it 5-star hotel. The hotel itself is quite modern, and has clearly been recently renovated. The most positive aspects of our stay were the high levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The worst aspects of our stay werethe lift situation (it really sucks and something needs to be done), and the interior design (reminiscent of a hospital waiting room). Our bedroom was advertised as a family room, though apart from the cot we had requested there was nothing special about it. Additionally, the room had no bathtub, which was highly inconvenient given our need to bath our baby each day. A further complaint would be the location of our bedroom, which was right next to the outdoor area where the evening \"shows\" are conducted. That meant that from 8.30 pm each night when we put our baby to sleep, there was all manner of caterwauling to be heard, which was quite annoying night after night. Food was OK, but not once did I say or think \"mmm that's really delicious\". I also found the promise of an Italian restaurant on site to be particularly mis-leading. There is no Italian restaurant! There is, however, a counter of the buffet in the outdoor seating area that serves up very average pizza and pasta. On the whole the dessert was a no go, we found it all exceptionally sweet and the cakes were very dry. The fruit served was excellent on the whole.

We travelled as a family of four and stayed for a week all-inclusive.
Positives:
- Reception staff very friendly and helpful
- Food very good, always available and great selection
Negatives:
- Hotel very basic and not particularly well kept
- Constant waiting at lifts
- Loungers always 'reserved' by towels early in the morning, despite signs saying this is not allowed

The hotel is lovely, staff are really helpful and friendly. The food choice is really good and there is lots of choice in the main restaurant. There is only really one other restaurant choice as the Brazilian is just a rushed hot mess, but the other choice is fabulous I would rather have gone there twice! The children had so much to do they almost didn’t do everything, shame for the adults though the evenings were a bit more for the kids and we found ourselves just sitting where every we could find a chair as it always seemed too busy everywhere for the amount of guests at the hotel. A tip I would give them is we had lots of sugar free choices for the kids in another place we stayed, which was so good…slushes and things and even we could mix them with alcohol…. Every choice of alcohol here was VERY sweet and all children continually sugar hi, bit crazy. But all in all staff were nice, pool large, food good what’s not to like.

Arrived to find Room and bathroom not cleaned properly after last guest. Really bad smell in the room and even after leaving the doors open , smell remained the same .

Hotel gave option of coming and cleaning room every 2 hours during my stay which I felt was very insulting as the basic standard of cleanliness was not met when I checked in and not sure how cleaning the room every 2 hours will make any difference to the horrid smell which I was expected to ignore ?

I had to check out with my child within 30 mins of checking in as could not stay in that condition.

Had to sit in the lobby and book another hotel , left in tears.

I was advised to speak with Expedia regards to refund and for the Hotel if we stayed or left it’s no loss as we had already fully paid and the room can be booked by another guest .

Expedia have advised that hotel management have declined to provide any refund .

Cost of hotel was nearly thousand pounds for adult and child for 4 days for a awful room with stench. Basically hotel made nearly a thousand pounds with a empty room with no guests 😢

Stayed at the Jupiter Albufeira Hotel for 12 days in September 2022. The hotel is lovely with a separate pool primarily for adults (no inflatables allowed). The food was plentiful and very good for an all inclusive hotel. The only issue we had was the condition of the carpets which were very stained and not very appealing. Overall a great stay and would recommend to others.

We think the communication around entertainment could have been improved to maximise everyone’s stay especially for the kids and teens. It was good overall. However, the population is too much in the dinner area: spa I require payment before being use ; the hotel quite suitable for family with children: The stairs are dirty.

The spa is quite pricy. April is not period to visit because we had our winter jacket. Lastly it cost €51 for transportation from the airport since the hotel they do not provide airport shuttle as states in facilities!

Absolutely brilliant hotel! Family friendly, covid safe and clean.
Staff were all super friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. All inclusive was ridiculously good value for money. Food was top quality with a huge selection, drinks were brilliant too. All inclusive included cocktails. Fab location- close to supermarkets and bars and restaurants. Hotel also offers free shuttle bus to beach/ old town throughout the day. Taxi is only €7-8 if you require to return later.

Really lovely hotel. Lovely big, clean rooms. Rooftop bar was really nice. Plenty of sun loungers available. Great play pool for kids. Great kids disco run by really enthusiastic staff.
Outside swimming pools were freezing. The lounge areas felt like an airport waiting lounge and there wasn’t enough seating for everyone. Half the main restaurant was really nice and then the other half that was a bit like an overspill, felt like a canteen and the area everyone seemed to want to sit in the least.
