As we only stayed for 3 nights I can't really review the services provided. However the apartment we had was very clean and spacious. Ideal for our stay and would happily stay for much longer.

Spotless, spacious apartment if sparsley furnished. Difficult to heat due to it's size and the unexpected cold weather. Staff very nice and very helpful
Handy small shop in reception for snacks and drinks.

We arrived 2 hours early to the hotel and we were greeted with such an amazing young lady. Luana (I believe that’s how to spell her name). She was so friendly, accommodating & informative. Unfortunately the lady replacing her that evening wasn’t as kind.
Let’s start off by stating how disgusting this room was.There was an odor coming from the kitchen. We opened the varanda door and kitchen door to air out the place, the couch arm is broken and stains all over. The walls were dirty, washroom is “clean” but not really clean. Beds were ok as the linens seems cleaned/washed. The soap dispenser in the washroom- empty. We asked for extra bed linen so we could put it on the couch so we could sit down. I returned to the front desk to ask for soap and the lady said she would send her colleague over, I said I would wait at the front desk as I can put it in my washroom. She said no, she said her colleague would do it . I said ok but we are leaving right now as we had reservations to meet with a group. She said well , her colleague finishes work at 9. So I told her - not to worry about the soap, I’ll use my shampoo. The lady asked why can’t her colleague enter the room, I said because I have my work laptops and paperwork and it is confidential. I don’t want anyone in The room. I come back from dinner and there’s a bottle of soup outside my door . Luckily no one took it. The varanda door doesn’t lock, loud music & noise until 2am. Finally I found a security guard get noise controlled

1st solo trip

This was my 1st solo trip to Albufeira, but a familiar area as I've stayed at Santa Eulalia many times now. I wasn't expecting the apartment to do be so big as I was staying alone, but it was large enough to sleep 4 people. All rooms were spacious. The sofa bed in the living room did look quite worn, so could do with replacing. The kitchen had all the facilities needed including an oven, stove top, microwave and washing machine. I'm not a fan of shower curtains in hotels, but the shower worked well. The bedroom had 2 single beds. The room did get quite cold and the only form of heating was in the living room. The pillows were very soft, but thats just a personal preference. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful especially Phillipa. I would definitely stay again.

Great location to the strip. Nice big rooms complete with large kitchen and bathroom - perfect for 3 or 4 people. Pool area was really good including the bar. Bit of a walk to the beach but not too bad at all. Can be a bit noisy as allows pets but other than that brilliant stay!

Horrendous. If you want to stay in a party hotel and get drunk all day this is the place for you, however if you want a relaxing holiday I would not book here. Full of brits who are drunk all day long.

Overally it’s okay and I’d recommend it unless you plan to spend lots of time indoors. The cleaning service didn’t do so much of a cleaning in my understanding of “clean” but the staff is very kind and helpful. Nice pool outdoors. Lots of free parking places outdoors and underground as well which is a big plus. Great location and safe neighborhood :)

The apartments are a good size and are in a really convenient location to get to the beach, old town etc. The staff generally were friendly and helpful. However, the apartment we stayed in hadn't been properly cleaned before we arrived and although they advertise free wifi, it is only available in the reception area, likewise they state there is a poolside snack bar but this was closed for our stay. Also, for the week we were there, our towels weren't replaced (we had been told on checking in that they would be every three days) and on the last night there was a group outside singing at about 4am which the staff did nothing to stop even though we were told that they had a strict policy on no noise after 11pm.

Good location, rooms were large, beds comfortable. Cleaned daily although not always fresh towels provided when dirty towels placed on floor. Fan in room was sufficient but wouldn’t like no air con in warmer weather and only use of fan. We were in room 97a superior room had power cut two days in a row, the electricity tripped would have expected maintenance to find out why tripped instead of just putting switch up. Happened two days I hope they sorted for next guests using our room. If you get a problem in the night like no electric you have to wait till 8am morning reception to sort. No phone in room for reception when I rang hotel reception number I was told they didn’t have rooms like mine so had to walk to reception ( had problem with mobility so this was not helpful)especially as the person on reception was the same person I had spoken to on the telephone! Taxi via hotel €30 to villamoura but taxi back from taxi rank was €20 this was after midnight. I would go to taxi rank to get taxi and not book via reception.

Loved the area around the apartment was plenty of cafes/bars and shops within a few feet
Beaches were stunning and a short walk also a fun area known as the strip packed with fun bars and great live music
The apartment was clean and maid service was fantastic
The kitchen in our apartment lacked some esentials such as tin opener drinking glasses no dish soap sponge or towels
Pool was clean but needed some attention as the pool bar was ripped out and bar stools in water were sharp
The pool side bar was closed also which was disappointing I did ask if it was closed for the season but had been closed for over a year
Most of staff were very cheerful but one lady at front desk was not
That would not put me off going back though 😁

This was the worse hotel we have ever stayed in our lives. They say there's a poolside bar and there wasn't. We had 1 lot of clean towels. Had no clean bedding at all. The staff where the most rude I have ever come across in my life

Apartments are very clean and good location

Very comfortable apartment with balcony and excellent kitchen facilities
Nice pool but the water was a bit dirty and the surrounding pool area needed a clean
There were a few groups of loud Dutch teenagers who were a little noisy but otherwise it was pretty quiet
Hotel is close to a few local restaurants. About 10 mins from the strip
Long walk to the old town. Probably about 45 mins. Taxi cost 6 euros
Supermarket 50 yards from hotel
But if u gave a car there’s a Lidl and Aldi 2 miles away which are much cheaper

Quiet retreat within resort

The quality of your stay depends on where your apartment is situated. We had a superior (with terrace) which was to one end of the pool area. Others weren't so well-located. The hotel isn't disturbed by noise (cabaret) from other hotels and the service is fine. The pool area wasn't always maintained, cigarette ends left around by others. But we felt comfortable and happy in simple surroundings. The pool can be shaded in areas thru' the day.

WELL EQUIPPED SPACIOUS APARTMENT

Hard to rate. We were there in October but imagine both resort & apartments would have been crowded & noisy in high season. Set back from road so little traffic noise. Very comfortable spacious accommodation, well equipped. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms & building very clean but area around pool wasn't. Poolside shower didn't work and surrounding area was only swept once in 6 days we were there. About 15 mins walk to a lovely beach where there are a few bars/cafes. Near bus stop & bus to old town every half an hour.

It was hard to carry two 20kg suitcases up 36 steps to top floor as there was no lift
WiFi poor in room though available in reception
Loose bare wires over the door probably door bell missing
We had to request a second sun lounger on the balcony as one was missing

Nice close to beach and centre of albuferia

Staff were friendly and apartment was cleaned daily. the pool was nice too. we went at a quiet time which was good. short walk to 3 beaches and short taxi ride to old town. also short walking distance to the strip. overall lovely stay with my sister. only negative is that there was no oven and the stove did not work in the apartment but the there was a microwave toaster and kettle!

Unfriendly staff and terrible apartment

We booked a Superior apartment at an extra cost but were placed in a standard apartment. When we pointed this out, we were placed in a sub-standard apartment with faulty electrical works. Apparently that was the only Superior apartment left.

Expedia were not helpful either.

We had to settle for a standard apartment and yet no refund for the extra payment we made.

The receptionist was unfriendly and really did not care about our concerns!

No wifi in the apartments...only works at the reception.

You have to pay 3 euros per day to use the safe in the bedroom.

No air con so uncomfortable especially at night. Reception staff didn't welcome us at check in offer any information on the area and the same when we checked out, didn't smile or ask how was our stay or have a safe journey home appeared apathetic and disinterested. Cleaning staff must be complimented excellent standard of cleaning throughout the complex!

Nice clean rooms well situated. Probably not for a family break but ideal for friends and couples just looking for a base near the amenities. Read reviews that it was very loud but we never heard a thing all weekend. Again, more suited to friends and couples than it is for families. Does what it says on the tin.

Short walk to the beach which is great. Restaurants are nearby and plenty to choose from. Eat all you can fish for €17.95 is worth trying at Zei de Peixe Assado Restaurante.

Central to everything

Short break away the apartment was very modern and very clean . The pool area was small and there was no bar /restaurant facilities which showed on website that there was but plenty of very good bars and restaurants near hotel . plenty of choice with the strip although only suited to the younger ones and the old town a beautiful spot but gone very commercialised . The beaches near by are fabulous oura beach and San eualia beach . The weather was brill air con in apartment would have been a plus .. The staff at reception were extremely friendly although could do with a bit more rules for pool and supervision regarding some behaviours . I think with the right management and total finish of refurbishment and take on board reviews it will become a great place

This would be a cracking place if the owners had finished the decor properly, doors not put in correctly either not closing or rattling in the wind , the curtains in the living rooms far too thin didn't keep the hot sun out , one issue either they put air con in or they stop the noisy groups of stag/hen parties as we could NOT open the windows after 10pm due to the noise from them partying on their balconies virtually all night !! Making the bedrooms too hot , plus points good location Being within walking distance to the old town An strip but not close enough to the strip to hear the noise lovely restaurants close by an 10 minute walk to the beach , Would be great as a family or couples only establishment

Noisy apartments

Although we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist she was the one and only approachable member of staff, however it was only her first or second day at the apartments. The apartments were clean, maid service everyday. For some reason no oven in the kitchen and the washing machine wasn't plumbed in. No air con available which isn't ideal with temperatures of 31 degrees! Sea gulls nest there so the noise was constant. Builders still working on properties so you would be woken by them early in the morning. Noise carried from other apartments and no blinds in the kitchen so people staying opposite could see right in. Not too far from the strip so ideal for young people wanting to party all night as the alcohol would help to drown out the noise. Super market, shops and restaurants nearby. 15 minute walk to Praia da oura beach which was extremely busy if you like hustle and bustle. Much nicer beach a 30 minute walk which was Praia dos alemaes which we walked to most days and was the highlight of the holiday. Avoid if you are looking for a nice relaxing retreat. If you are after a place to rest your head after partying all night long then would be fine as it is near the strip and the beach to nurse your hangover in the daytime.

Camera stolen from the apartment

No signboard for the apartment; 24 hrs front desk; still being built so can see workers around in the campus; room gets very hot in summer time as ventilation acceptable except on the ground floor as you can't sleep with the windows open-- not safe. Beds not comfortable.
Moved into an apartment where light not working, hence moved to another apartment after 20 minutes; left for beach in the morning and left camera Sony NEX 5N in the apartment -- came back to find that camera is not in the room; reported it to the reception who didn't even bother informing the manager about the camera missing from the room (domestic staff went in the room for cleaning the room as they have the keys). It appeared that the reception was keen not even to query the staffs. I finally talked to manager over the phone who knew nothing till then. Agreed for informing police which I did and took another 3 hours. Police however is polite and I hope they enquire the staff and get at least my memory card back( as it's very precious memories). At police station, they also seemed worried about this incidence at the apartment and didn't know that this apartment exists.

I would say to leave anything inside the apartment at your risk.
