Very clean hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Because I am here off-season, my room was upgraded. They have some issues right now with water intruding theough the entry doors, but that's due to unseen amounts if rain and heavy storms

Staff are lovely and kind.
Maybe think about some halal options for dinner / breakfast, or veggie / vegan sausages or meat!
I had a great stay however, and would still rate this very high!

Worth it for the rooftop views & beach!

This hotel was in a great location close to the beach, strip and good restaurants. The rooftop bar offers the most stunning views of the ocean and beaches. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice enough, and clean but kinda dark. We had like a half patio door. Even though it was half board we didn’t eat there. You have to pay for everything in the mini fridge which was the first hotel in my Portugal visit where you had to do that. Ouro Beach is a 5 min walk. You can rent sub loungers for around €20 for two beds and an umbrella. Worth it. You pay at the restaurant for those. Generally a decent stay. Only thing I really didn’t like is the burst of odor as you first walk in. It’s an overpowering scent.

We’ve enjoyed a 4 night holiday in this hotel and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were tidy and clean and we had partial sea-view and it was honestly lovely! The balcony gave a nice sense of privacy. Pool was great! Perfect size and in my opinion never really overcrowded. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Honestly nothing bad to say.

Birthday hits!!

I made this booking as part of a birthday suprise for my Partner, the staff did not stop but go above and beyond at every turn to make her birthday a great suprise for when we arrived to the hotel.

They were able to arrange a platter, and pastries suprise with happy birthday and Balloons in the room with a card from their team!!

It was an unforgettable experience for both of us I would highly recommend it!

Also a a huge thank you to Liliana who helped organise the suprise and helped make the trip so memorable.

Some value but can’t imagine it in season

Stayed with my niece lovely hotel, excellent breakfast. Found room to be a bit small for 2. I also found buffet dining to be expensive. Our first night there was A Tuesday and they have live music on Tuesday until 10 pm. It was very loud and made sleeping impossible until music ended. Not my favorite aspect of a hotel.

We loved this hotel for its location, close to three beaches. The view of the ocean from the balcony is amazing.
The breakfast was very good, in a nice setting and the stuff was welcoming and helpful.
The reception stuff, particularly Guilherme, Carlos, and Anastasia, was multilingual and very competent, offering us suggestion for our daily trips.
Last but not least, the hotel has a large, airy atrium, a social space and even a small library.

The pictures do a job of making it look as if it’s going to be somewhat expansive and surrounded by greenery. In reality, it's on an urban side street, like a block of flats, and the green space visible to one side of the building is private scrubland off the premises. The main inner foyer is concrete and gloomy like a London airport or business motel. One small pool tight up against the building within what could be the garden of a 3-bedroom house (and everyone in the restaurant looking at you). No gym. Good rooms and the staff are very good. Good breakfast but 0730 (perhaps in low season only?) is a late start.

We realised we’d been much better off self-catering at the 5-star hotel up the road - for approx the same rate per night, but a real resort with proper facilities and grounds. This one is close to all the pubs on the strip, if that's what you're after.

Finally, one of my pet hates: the “airport shuttle” described on the hotel listing and on their website is really just reception calling a taxi for you - at a higher expense than simply getting an Uber.

The look of the hotel was stunning, design and room decor very nice. Breakfast options were excellent. However, very disappointed with the size if the pool (not large enough for the amount of guests being hosted, therefore, if like me you chose a hotel with a pool, expecting to have a morning swim, you too will end up looking lije a goldfish in a bowl. Biggest NEGATIVE the rooms have air pumped in. It blows too cold and too hot and drys you out. Not at all comfortable to sleep in.

Great location for walking to eat and shop. Access to beach within walking distance. Upon arrival, we had two maintenance issues with our room, but both were corrected quickly. Staff was very nice and prompt. Our only problems were beach/pool towels were only given out once per week. We were there 2 weeks and swam every day. Towels did not dry in the room or on the balcony in time to use them the next day. Also, there is only one small elevator for a very large hotel making wait times long. Overall, a great experience!

This was a great hotel. Located close to the beach and has a nice (crisp) pool. The only downside has more to do with the location and city. It’s really geared toward 19-23 year olds on bachelor/ette parties, and mid-life crises. If you are looking for a - albeit still touristy - lower key experience, best to go further west to Lagos.

This was the highlight of our trip to Portugal! The hotel is lovely and the staff couldn’t be nicer! The beach is a short and beautiful walk down a hill. The free breakfast was excellent and the pool and property are lovely. The staff even noticed from my passport I would be having a birthday during my stay. On the hostess went out of her way to wish me a happy birthday. Then that afternoon, they sent up a beautiful dessert and bottle of champagne with two glasses to our room
With such a lovely handwritten note! That was really above and beyond! We would love to stay there again!! They were the best!

María Jose from the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She did our upgraded and give us the tickets for the welcome drinks.
I lost my sunglasses and she found it for me: she was awesome!!!! It really makes a difference when you find someone willing to help and made recommendations. I will come back to this hotel just for her!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Aqua Pedra dos Bicos Design Beach Hotel. Decorated to a high standard throughout, very well kept. We had a premium room which had an amazing view over the pool and the sea - lovely for sitting on the balcony with drinks!
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful - nothing seemed too much trouble if we needed anything!
We would definitely stay here again!

Good location to the strip and supermarket. Hairdryer did not work and kept cutting out. No wine glasses in the room and water is not refreshed daily. However fresh towels are provided daily, not pool towels - you have to pay to replace these.

Comfortable room, although I would have preferred the room a little larger, with more drawer space. Excellent breakfast, both in quality and number of choices. Proximal to plenty of restaurant choices. Only a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Moreover, one could go to a crowded beach or walk a little to find one with more solitude. Overall, a nice choice for visiting New Town Albufeira.

This was our 3rd stay at Aqua Pedra dos Bicos, it has made some changes this time in the general decor. We found that the bedrooms sadly lack storage, only one drawer plus the bedside tables not conducive to the overall “look” we felt.
Reception area was bland plus the staff were hidden behind a very high desk.
The breakfast wasn’t up to the usual standard, bacon rather thin and overcooked, whilst we appreciate it is difficult to cater for all tastes just felt we had to give our comments.
The staff were always very attentive, even down to the cleaners.
We hope to make further visits as the hotel itself generally suits most of our needs.

Reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout my stay, restaurant staff not so much.
House cleaning staff were exceptionally thorough and polite and always cleaned my room impeccably. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The bedrooms are spacious and cosy, but the balconies were rather small.
The hot breakfast was the same every day. The pork sausages weren't always cooked throughout, so I had to make the restaurant staff aware on many occasions.

They had a good fruit and pastry selection. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant waa good. Room for improvements.
