Hôtel qui s’adresse au jeunes adultes qui font la fête. Du matin au soir ils mobilisent la piscine et garde le bar actif. Musique constante. Moins invitant pour les plus « vieux ». En revanche la qualité de l’appartement compense grandement nous y avons cuisiné des repas facilement. Le parking est sur la rue , gratuit, aucune garantie mais abondant en basse saison. Aucun stationnement à l’hôtel.

when I arrived at the hotel, the loud commotion coming from the lobby spilled out to the street as drunken men fighting and screaming, and cursing all through the hotel, and on the street. Anna at reception moved me to another hotel, which was a little quieter, but still had the same clientele of drunken man fighting and screaming and cursing all over the place. What a mistake.

Our room #033 smells sewer as soon as we get in the room. We stayed for 2 nights and luckily, we're outside during the day. Not sure where its from. We tried closing the bathroom, and it helped. This hotel is adults only but quite noisy at night with young party goers screaming and yelling. Its a bit of a long walk to the Old town, about 45mins. Fortunately, we discovered Turisme train to save us from a lot of walking. The train toured us around the old town and more.

I had a really good stay in this hotel especially due to the nice staff and the great location. Within a 5 min walk distance you have “The Strip” of Albufeira as well as the beach. Also Old town Albufeira is only a 20 minute walk or a short Uber drive away. I would definitely recommend this accommodation but it can be loud during the night due to some party people.

The property was well kept and the staff was always helpful. The apartment I was in had all the amenities I needed with the exception of toiletries such as shampoo and shower gel. I didn’t ask for any so I’m not sure if it would have been provided. It was easy to navigate to and from the property, uber pick up/drop offs were easy. A quick 10 mins walk to the strip got me to all of the event spots. I felt safe throughout as a solo traveler.

We loved our stay at Topázio. The apartment was perfect and well-equipped. And the layout of the hotel is attractive - lots of lovely plants and trees. I enjoyed the swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfasts. You are close to the shops and two beaches with amazing caves and lots of restaurants.

Very modern but a party hotel.

The hotel was modern, rooms were clean and walking distance from the strip and beach. I feel this was more a party hotel, music in rooms until late and a lot of young people. As for the actual hotel I was pleased with how modern it was, the breakfast was lovely with lots of choices. Pool area is a little small but not a big problem as the beach is about 10 mins walk away.

This was an excellent hotel to stay at. Close to many beaches and restaurants. The staff was outstanding and caring and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We got free breakfast with our booking and we since we only stayed 3 nights we opted for the 5 euro voucher each day to forgo cleaning of our room that we could use in the bar for drinks or snacks.
One thing I didn’t know about this area is the party life. We went for a calm relaxing beach getaway and were shocked about the partying in all hours of the day and night. This is no fault to the hotel at all though. If you want a quieter stay something away from the action of the strip might be more for you.

Be aware!

The hotel itself is pretty good . Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, and the staff pretty nice.

But the devil hides in the details:

“Adult friendly” means that the Majority of the crowd is composed of high-school / college kids here to party hard. Nothing against partying but when their goal is binge drinking, it brings the worst of human beings. They’re loud, obnoxious, entitled, drunk kids who have no respect for other guests who are sleeping.

Another detail is the Kiss disco club right in front of the hotel. We were lucky enough to not directly face the nightclub, but we heard the crowd screaming from our bedroom despite the window being closed and the AC.

Nice hotel, shame about the nightclub. When i booked an adults only hotel i dreamed of lazy days and relaxing evenings without kids running around and bombing in the pool. While it wasnt as noisy as it could have been, the pool area was small with loud music playing, the bungalows at the rear were playing their own music loudly, people talked loudly in the corridors in the early hours and the nightclub opposite spilled out into the street with shouts of 'OI OI!!' at 6am. That said it was a good enough base, the beds were comfy, staff were great and the breakfast was good. The strip is only a 5-10 min walk with plenty of bars and restaurants and most of the cast of The Inbetweeners Movie doing their thing. Uber was about 5-10 euros to the old town/harbour etc. We were there a few days for a wedding and it served its purpose, probably wouldn't return personally due to the noise.

Staff here went above and beyond to accommodate me. I arrived early and they let me check in early so I could take a nap after a long day of travel. The free breakfast was delicious and it was a 10 minute walk to the beach. Would definitely come back!

Excellent stay. Perfect location for the main strip (5 minute walk from the bars and clubs). I would only stay here out of season as it is directly opposite Kiss nightclub.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It is also a very clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast.

Will definitely be staying again.

Hotel Topázio was great, breakfast each day was lovely, the staff could never do enough to help and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Only downside was there was very limited storage in the room. Before we stayed I saw some reviews about the noise from the nearby Kiss club but we didn’t hear a peep. Location was perfect, super quiet but barely a 5 min walk from the bustling Strip and there were 2 beaches within a short walk away also.

We are a couple in our late 40’s this hotel has big groups of young ppl - however it didn’t bother us or the other handful of older folk. Our room was smack bang outside the nightclub- so when booking ask for a room out back if noise is a problem for you!

We arrived 4 hours before check in time and we’re greeted with smiles. The wonderful check in staff kept our bags aside and showed us to the pool and assured us they would have our room ready asap - which they did.

ALL staff here are wonderful, helpful and always smiling.

Clean modern hotel with a great breakfast. Offer to not have your room serviced daily and you get a €5 voucher to spend at the hotel bar/snack menu.

The pool area is lovely, however the pool is pretty cold. Easy access to great restaurants and the beach.

Our room was right across the road from the nightclub that opens at midnight and closes at 6am - it’s loud, really loud, however we had earplugs and are quite heavy sleepers so didn’t bother us.

We actually really loved our stay here

My friends and I had an amazing experience staying here, we stayed in one of the bungalow apartment rooms and it was perfect, it was true to pictures, clean and spacious - super convenient for a group of girls. The staff (bar staff in particular) was very friendly and welcoming. Location was right round the corner from the strip, opposite two supermarkets, 10 minute walk from the beach and was only a 5-10 min Uber ride to the old town/marina. Finally, I would definitely recommend getting breakfast included as we had a vast verity of food every morning which was lovely. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and the facilities were beautiful (especially the beans bags on poolside!).

Room was very comfortable, modern and clean. Great breakfast and liked the pool area. However, proximity to and relationship with the disco club across the street meant loud music was audible from midnight until 6am, and many guests were patrons of the club so they were noisy at night (slamming doors, laughing in hallways, coming back drunk, etc.). So maybe better if you are wanting to party, but not so good if you want to get a good night's sleep.

Fantastic hotel - high quality resort that is clean modern and looks recently renovated and well maintained. Spotlessly clean. I had a great time with friends. The pool area is superb! Food and drinks great. Breakfast lots of choice and fresh.
Cannot rate this hotel enough, my room was on ground floor back from reception and was quiet and peaceful. Beds are super comfortable and I slept better than at home! Cannot rate this hotel enough and cannot wait to visit again!

The blackout does not block the sunlight and even the balcony light that stays on all night long and we can't turn off.
The LED lights on the room's entrance does not turn off completely. It's a nice hotel, good breakfast, but impossible to have a dark room for a good sleep.

Due the pandemic we were unable to attend this hotel - after several calls and emails the hotel refused to refund us and told us it was safe to still visit. Even the week before the trip Portugal experienced a second wave of the Coronavirus and the hotel still refused to provide us with a refund for our stay. We’re extremely disappointed with this outcome and understandably everyone is going through a hard time and this situation made things just slightly more stressful. We won’t be using our credit to visit a place that operates like this.

Lots of restaurants around, old town about 20-25 mins away , new town 10 mins. Apartment was spacious and clean. Pool area ok but very basic and small, and due to location limited in amount of loungers in the sun. Breakfast was good quality and enough choice. Service could be improved, by staff smiling and welcoming guests. When we arrived housekeeping had not left any toilet roll, I called reception and was told I could go down to collect some (As it was late and I'd had a day travelling, i would have preferred these to be brought to our room). I was also made to feel an inconvenience when I asked the cleaning maid to 'come back later' - when she wanted to clean - 2 of our group were still in bed! Girl on reception ignored us as we left for airport (no, 'thank you for choosing Topazio etc)... These are basic's.... and without them will make me consider looking at alternative properties when we return next year.

Hotel guests were tortured by drunken people f(mostly British and Dutch) rom nearby disco and bar EVERY NIGHT FROM MIDNIGHT UNTIL ALMOST 7AM. It was almost impossible to sleep.. Until they resolve that problem avoid this place.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was modern. Beds were comfortable (great pillows!). Bathroom was spotless. Food at the restaurant was reasonably priced and tasty. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The only things we wished were different: more hooks/towel bars in the bathroom (there was only one towel rack in the shower), having a box of tissues would have been nice, including body lotion in the provided toiletries, designating or allowing towels to be used for the beach.

We stayed in a bungalow with our 2 year old which made life a lot easier and no worries about balconies. The bungalow was beautiful inside and well laid out. Great bed! The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly.

The only thing we would have liked was a bar in the evening but we simply popped over to the British bar across the road which was ridiculously cheap and has a great kids area.

We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is clean and modern. There is a nice outdoor pool. It is within walking distance of restaurants and bars. It is across the street from a large nightclub, but the double set of glass doors to the balcony reduces the late night noise. The bed is comfortable. There is some free street parking.

This hotel is ideally located near to the ' strip ' close to the beach and a comfortable stroll to the ' old town ' . The interior is both modern and extremely clean. The facilities are excellent and the beds comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast offers a great choice to suit everyone with hot and cold choices plus a good range of fresh fruit juices. Within the grounds there is a lovely outdoor pool with outside terraces and areas to relax and enjoy a drink. All in all an excellent hotel .

The hotel was great - everything was clean and new. We asked for a double room instead of twin and we got upgraded to an apartment with everything you need.
Breakfast was a great value for the money - diverse and delicious.
The location was nice - close to the Strip and to the beach (7-10 min. to each).
The only negative to mention is that they say they offer free parking, and this means the 4 parking spots in front of the hotel- clearly not enough. Anyway, you can park nearby for free, if you don’t find a free spot in front.

I have stayed at this hotel before and been impressed with its location, amenities and modern-look. However, for two days in a row I received no maid service until approx 5pm despite being out the room all day with the “please make up my room” card on the door. This was inconvenient and too late, and I am now unsure whether I will stay here again.

The rooms were comfy, air conditioned and seemed very recently renovated. You get a beach towel and a hairdryer in the room which is really useful for the 10kg luggage allowance on most cheap flights out there.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. 5 mins from the strip but not right on it for those who didn’t want to go out.

All the staff were really friendly.
The pool area was lovely - a bit on the small side but the quality of the sun loungers and parasols made but for that.

Would definitely stay here next time I’m in Albufeira!

Great location

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. 5 minute walk to the strip. Very convenient area close to bars and restaurants. I have stayed here several times and would highly recommend it.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

Nice quiet hotel (apart from occasional stag party). Swimming pool and bar great for relaxing. Staff extremely friendy and helpful. Minor complaints of very few tv channels and lack of drawer space. Small side tables beside the sofa would have been useful for resting food and drink on when watching tv.

Family fun in the sun

Had a good stay at the Tapazio,cleen room and great housekeeping pool was good with no rushing to get sunbeds but the one fault that i do have is the nightclub right opposite the hotel which stays open to 7am music from 3am to 7am and the the noice of the croud coming out at the end especially if your a light sleeper.

Arrived to be given a lovely bunglow but noise at night from nightclub across road unbearable from music pounding from 1 in morning to shouting and roaring on street outside from about 3 till 7 in the morning complained about noise to be charged 30 euro to be moved to another bungalow further up but same result complained again and was down graded to an apartment to which I told them I would not pay the relocation fee and was not compansated difference in price on good side very peaceful during day and plenty sun beds staff day staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you night staff when my wife complaint about noise one night was told get over it that it was a night club across road

Relaxing stay

We stayed in one of the bungalows for 10 nights with our 14 month old child. The bungalow was perfect and all the staff were extremely helpful. We walked to the old town most nights and got the tourist train or tuc-tuc's back. Oura beach was about a 15 minute walk away and is a beautiful beach. We did hear some noise from the disco at night but it was just background noise and when the air conditioning was on we couldn't here anything.

Hotel was ok, good location next to the strip and a short walk from the old down. Pool did not look clean in the slightest so wasn't used throughout our stay which was a let down.

Stayed in a \"villa/bungalow\" nice size very basic kitchen area just 2 hobs no oven no grill there was a microwave bed hard bathroom ok TV just 2 British news channels close to \"the strip\" close to beaches and plenty of bars
