This was by far the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Not only is this property, gorgeous, and well appointed. The view from the balcony to the ocean was amazing. The staff was fabulous and they give you welcome gifts when you arrive and make you just really feel at home.

The property was great but didn’t match our needs for one night accommodation - for example the pool was closed by the time we arrived and they had two pages of terms and conditions that we everyone had to sign upon arrival. These terms and conditions or pool closing time wasn’t disclosed. They would not let us into the room until all paperwork was done-in other hotels one person completes the paper work at the reception and the rest of the family can go to the room. The hotel is located in a party part of town and this should be disclosed - young people partying until 6 am.

Good central location hotel

Good stay in a very good location. Everything you need for self catering. Many little supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby. However, I found the food quality poor anywhere near the property, but it’s obviously not the hotels responsibility.
Check in was fast and we even got to check in many hours earlier than expected, so this was so convenient and great as we travelled with kids and had many luggage’s.
Staff is always very welcoming and always willing to help.
Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Downside is that none of the pools were heated. This was really disappointment as my little one was looking forward to some splash in the pool. If I will travel again with the family then I would
Probably stay elsewhere due to freezing swimming pool. Please consider heating at least a baby pool!

This was a great location and small condo area with pool and day bar. Rooms are spacious and clean and minimalist. They are old so there were a few insects that got in and very minimal problems. We loved the location of our room and really can't complain. The desk staff and all staff were awsome. Didn't like that the grandpa was not allowed to throw a ball in the pool to his grandchild.
The comfort is the problem. Pillows were piecy, no comforter, old style blankets and microwave etc, like ,,,, old. But they work. Couches are practical for sleeping but not comfy for a couch, but it worked. Overall we would stay here again. Just not sure what else would be comparable, maybe they are all like this. Hard to say! We really did Like/Love it, in its own kind of way!

We had an amazing stay. From the beautiful property to the help at the frontt desk, everything was perfect. Beautiful property and plenty of room in the apartment. Loved the balcony. One of the best features was at the end....We were not scheduled to leave the city until late in the afternoon, but they held our luggage and provided towels for the pool. Most other places will kick you out at 11, but they welcomed the extra stay and made you feel at home.

Property location is excellent and ocean views outstanding. The area is very noisy and it would be nice if the rooms were a bit more soundproofed. Parking is also a challenge as the hotel has very few spaces and on busy beach days it is difficult to find space. Overall a very good place to stay.

A beautiful property with all the necessary amenities with pool, jacuzzi, bar and amazing staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The highlight of the property is the proximity to the beach and the strip. Lots of dining options on the strip.

Great stay at 3HB Golden Beach! Reception was very friendly and communicated everything we needed to know. The room was spotless and we enjoyed an early check in and welcome snacks. Although the area outside the property was somewhat rowdy, the property itself was safe and had a family vibe. One large group of rowdy young guests was immediately and respectfully asked by management to tone it down or risk being asked to leave. The bakery in the market next door was a daily favorite for coffee and breakfast. We avoided the strip and spent time at Praia Falésia, Praia Marinha (Seven Valleys Hike), and Old Town;

Short stay in apartment 17 before joining family in a villa.
Everything was wonderful - towels for the pool/ beach, washing up stuff. Shower stuff.
Little kitchen.
Very polite and helpful staff.
Only gripe is the fact that people put towels down on sun loungers by 9.00am so late comers are left sitting on chairs. We went to the beach so not bothered by this. Perhaps a new rule should be - no one on the sunbed after 1 hr, the towels are removed?
Life guard and bar pool were great also. Happy hr is helpful.
5 mins to the beach.
We’d stay here again.

Almost all amenities are available like pool, jacuzzi , gym etc !
The staff is amazing and communicates ver effectively.
The property is just 50 Mtrs from oura beach.

3HB Golden Beach was steps away from decent dining, a well stocked grocery store and the beautiful Oura Beach. The hotel wasn't directly on the beach but there were lounge chairs and drink service for purchase on the beach. The pool was clean and my kids, 9 and 11, loved swimming. The pool bar was very nice for lounging while the kids played in the pool. There were plently of lounge chairs at the pool. No need to rush down at 8am to stake a claim. The lobby staff was amazing. We needed large taxis for our group and they called the service for us each time. Also, my son left his phone in the room and after checkout they came to find us at the restaurant to return it.
I wish they offered breakfast service at the hotel but as long as you know to purchase food the night before you will be fine. No restaurants open before 10am but there is a nice little cafe for coffee and pasteries that opens at 8am.
There are lots of steps and hills but that is the theme in Portugal.

Bear in mind, this was off peak, the hotel and the area was relatively quiet. Having said that, it was exactly what we would prefer, no queues, easy access to facilities, no wait for loungers etc. The property is in a prime location, with easy access to the local beach, the nearby shops (top tip to buy some breakfast items, teabags, coffee, milk etc as there is a kitchen) restaurants and the strip. It's perfect if you need the convenience but not if you want to be remote and away from anyone else, your choice but I prefer the bustle, activity and signs of life. There is free parking just outside on the streets but can imagine high demand during busy times. The hotel has a private car park but limited to about 5 cars and requires daily payment but worth it.
The apartment is kept clean and towels changed daily. There is a small, stocked kitchen with microwave, cutlery and crockery. The rooms are large and spacious. There is a separate bedroom and lounge, dining area and a personal balcony. We had a sea view and it was glorious to sit and have a relaxing breakfast in the sunshine each day. The pool area has a bar with music, ideal to relax and enjoy.
To offset the chill at night, there are wall heater units in the bedroom and lounge.
Only minor downside, there are signs of age and wet mould in some of the grout around the shower unit but nothing really off putting.
Overall, highly recommend this aparthotel if you want to be in the thick of it but still have some personal idyll

Fabulous place to stay

Property is in a great position very close to the beach. We arrived early and they had our room ready for us straight away which was a real bonus. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The pool area and bar were great - comfy sun beds and chilled music from the bar all day made for a great place to relax. Communication before arriving was really good too and we were able to fill out all our checkin forms online before arriving meaning actual check in process was really quick. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fabulous gem!!

I travelled with my husband and 2 children 11 and 13 on 5th August- the day the hotel reopened after Covid 19. It was pristine clean- the reception, the apartment, pool and all areas of the complex. I honestly could not fault it in any way- we had the pool to ourselves for the initial couple of days. We were asked to wear masks in reception (also one has to wear them inside shops, and on entry exit and when using toilets in restaurants etc but obviously not while seated at your table).
The hotel pool was beautifully clean and warm- they check the pool frequently and they unobtrusively spray disinfectant on sun loungers, play areas, etc,public toilets are also exceptionally clean.
we were only there for one week and it was incredibly relaxing- unlike the usual crazy busy August sea side hotels pre covid 19. The beach is a 2 min walk and so too are 2 supermarkets. The room amenities are good- well stocked kitchen and air con etc with spacious balcony.
Monika and ?Hugo on reception could not have been more helpful- they upgraded us to a beautiful deluxe sea view room. There is a lifeguard on duty from 9am to 7pm and the bar by the pool is also open in these hours with happy hour daily from 4-7pm alng with an easy listiening singer on Wednesdays.
Beautiful Italian restaurant accross the road- S Martinos- we ate there almost every nite as the food was fantastic and so too was the setting (upstairs terrace overloking the sea). Also close to the Albufeira strip without hearing it

Hotel in an excellent location, close to the beach and away from the noisy Strip, so quiet at night. Maid service is very good. Staff are polite and helpful.

An upgrade of the kitchen facilities would be beneficial, as the hot plate provided did not work well. A minor point, but this would have made the couple of meals I tried to prepare much quicker and easier!

A generally nice stay at this hotel. Location is good and rooms are excellent and value for money ... just a couple of minor grumbles:
1) Limited car parking - we were unable to park at the hotel for the first night as it was all reserved and had to battle to find a space on a road nearby ... not so easy in the summer!
2) A small pool for the number of guests and a lot of \"reserving\" of sunbeds from 0800 with no one using them before 1100.
3) Maybe we were just a little unlucky but there was quite a bit of noise around 2330 - midnight with guests coming backs from \"The Strip\".

The apartment was perfect, but horrendously expensive for just an overnight stay. Parking was terrible (only 8 spaces for the entire hotel) and the pool was very small and closed at 7pm. The area is also extremely 'popular', i.e. many tattooed, sunburned British tourists swilling cheap beer on the beach.

Beautiful property so close to the beach and a lovely pool area the kids really enjoyed (including a children’s pool for our little one). Love these units with access from the outside all within a gated community. Only the parking is limited and you should check in as early as you can to get a spot for the duration of your stay, otherwise parking can be busy on the main road. Very clean and well appointed rooms, great kitchen and balcony. Love the poolside bar, feels like a little resort but you can just walk out on the Main Street for lots of restaurants and little shops. Oura beach is just a few steps away so location is fantastic. Highly recommend it and one place I would like to return to one day.

Loved everything about 3HB Golden Beach

We were amazed by 3HB Golden Beach. From walking around, we were so happy we chose that place. It is perfectly located, clean, amazing view, good service and safe. We did not realize Albufeira was a party place for young adults before getting there, but we also enjoyed it as a family. It feels very safe and even if it gets noisy at night, once the windows are closed, we did not hear it and with the AC, we had no problem sleeping with the windows closed.

The hotel kindly upgraded my parents apartment as it was for a special occasion. The room was beautiful with everything you could need in it. The views were incredible.

The cleaners were very friendly. The pool bar man sorry cant remeber his name is also lovely and friendly :). All reception staff are very welcoming and cant do enough for you.

Had a fabulous holiday with extended family. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the apartments were great. The pool was super clean and there were plenty of sunbeds available everyday. Situated within a 2 minute walk of the beautiful beach with its excellent restaurants and bars. Was our second visit and we will definitely be returning later in the year.

We stayed in the oura beach view (MGM) last year which claims to be a five star . The golden beach is WAY BETTER and only claims to be a 3 star !! . The whole complex is clean and well maintained . The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you and it’s a 1 min walk to the beach !

Apartment are lovely and surrounding it’s perfect, min walk from beach and shops! Even small bakery is beside! Bar pool it’s pretty and over is gentlemen! Very friendly and so nice! I stayed there 5 years in a row and going back soon

Love Golden Beach! Staff are excellent (special thanks to Hugo and Ricardo) and super helpful. Rooms are spacious, immaculate and close to the ocean and nearby restaurants. Upgrade to deluxe oceanview apt is worth it! They provide gorgeous views of the beach.

Everything was perfect! The beds super comfy, nice view, lots of space. The bar had great prices for coffee or drinks. The only thing missing is a coffeemaker in the room, or available at the reception when you are an early bird( nothing available before 10 at the hotel and 8h30 around.

Very spacious suite with lovely view. Helpful reception staff. Some difficulty with the shower, which sprayed in different directions, including the floor.
